1221  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you prefer lots of promotions over better RTP? on: March 28, 2022, 10:08:12 PM
There is absolutely no logic in having say 100 promotions a month and sponsoring 10 high profile celebrities and giving your existing clients a piss poor experience at your casino. You spend millions on marketing to get new people to gamble at your site, but you cannot retain them, because most of your budget goes towards marketing and not to increasing the gambling experience.  Roll Eyes

Now, what can we as gamblers do to get the casino operators to give more attention to the gambling experience?

I don't even think that the Gambling platforms would even dare to unbalance their RTP and Promotions in ways that the other weighs and be prioritized more. Most of the current successful platforms tend to balance those as RTP creates quality clients and promotions/advertisements adds more clients. If they would ever step up the promotions to the point their RTP would decrease, they will just simply lose their constant momentum of having customers that enjoys their platform. BUT, if they choose to just let the community and players promote them by having an enjoyable and high RTP platform, then they can gain more clients than what they could spend on promotions by influencers, advertisements, or celebrities. How?

Imagine if they will use 20,000USD for a contract to a celebrity or a better marketing strategy/team WHILE having around 10,000 daily consecutive players. They can use that 20,000USD to RTP for those 10,000 who will dare get more as the RTP is already more, hence such idea would already be considered as a implicit promotion or a player-driven advertisement. IF then they use 20,000USD for the promotion than using it for RTP, their quality or RTP before promotion must be the same, else if decreased, such 10,000 players might lost interest on not even winning for tons of time trying.
1222  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Understanding "When" to trade. on: March 26, 2022, 11:45:47 PM
Knowing the HOW to trade is one thing, another is knowing the WHEN.
As a trader (crypto & forex), it is bad to trade every time the market opens up. The best and most profiting traders are not those that trade everyday, but take a targeted approach to trading.

For me, I know for sure that i do not like to trade on Mondays because that's when i take analysis to know which way the market will go for the week. Trading days for me are usually on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the market moves better on those days for me.

Your stand only applies to what you have experienced, your situation, and could never be applied to all or even the most of traders. Some people prefer trading and having positions on Mondays especially on crypto as mondays often is the momentum of the market to recover from downtrend every weekends - as most whales also plays on weekdays and sells as Saturday approaches. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are often days before peak price in a week - which can also be an upward peak, or a bottom line peak.

Though, I still agree that everyone must take their emotional problems as a primary reason not to trade as it drags down how you think and perform. But all should also know that you shouldn't trade without a plan. Only trade WHEN you already made a solid plan -- a plan where you already know what to do when you encounter situations such as loss in trading.

For those thinking timing isn't a necessity for having a successful trade they should have a rethink. You don't go trading when the news is out there of some negative directives been issued towards the industry. You can only end up losing as the market will be moving in an opposite direction to your calls
this situation only favours you when you're probably shorting then will the market move to your calls.

It isn't necessary in scalpers tho. Regardless of having a negative news, scalpers especially in Futures market only tends to technical trade.
1223  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New project on cryptocurrency Information on: March 26, 2022, 11:09:50 PM
I am sincerely grateful to all the comments, thanks to you I can study my mistakes and correct
my idea is to create all crypto informatics in one whole website Roll Eyes

Here's another suggestion to make that information befit a whole website. Try separating them in sections without having your homepage be overloaded with DETAILED information. If you want to give them ideas or something they might be interested, try using collapsed cards that contains an image an a catching title. Also, we know how ads would help you fund your project, but if its size where bigger than your articles and 5 buttons combined, then it will somehow destroy the simplicity of your UI and making it a hindrance on having a great UX. Try using longer width shorter height ad banners and put it below the page.

Your choice of typography and colors is waaay simpler as well. Try choosing those that can be both minimal and adoptive to whats modern. There's being good minimalist and simple, while there's also tooo much simple.\

PS. If you somehow want to expand your platform, step one foot forward, and have a UI design to follow, feel free to send a DM so we can negotiate for a UI design (I'm trying to expand my expertise in art  Grin )
1224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender bias in gambling. on: March 26, 2022, 10:31:30 PM
Why the bias? should gambling be only for Men?

That was been a stereotype for years and it is an issue that should be taken care of not only by your local government but those women around you that should make a noise and stand against that stereotype. But that wasn't only an issue in your country, that happens to most countries with female gamblers that are not being commonly seen in gambling places. Why the bias you ask? Well, with gambling places bombarded with old people that lives for decades and has the kind of old idea that 'a woman should be a housewife', then it isn't really common for them to see a woman gamble their money and play amongst men. Such ideology really sucks especially when women in such places are bullied because of their gender. It is just the matter of time until such oldies accepts the fact that gambling chooses no gender, just winners and daredevil players.
1225  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 StarBets.io 🎲 || A Crypto-based iGaming Platform 🎲 on: March 26, 2022, 10:07:30 PM
In my opinion, one of the advantages of putting a link from this forum on his site is that people on his site, when they have a problem, will be able to report it on this forum:

will be able to report in this thread
will be able to report in the section of scam accusation

with that the people of the forum will be able to follow each case how long it took or will take to be solved or how many cases are not solved

You aren't wrong that adding this forum to their link helps also their platform to have a place of community and a place where they can get ideas/issues from. But if adding this forum would just be meant to be their primary platform where problems will be settled or taken care of, then they might rely on this and not have their own standalone customer support system -- in which is way better than using the forum. How come it is better? If the accusation or the problem is made by a newbie / brand new account, they might not provide valid evidences as they aren't familiar with how this community works and how issues must be submitted -- which is a common thing that happens in scam accusation board.

Hence, regardless if they add the forum, they must still have a sector of devs exclusively for the customer support if they want to expand their system and make it a user-first platform.
1226  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: March 26, 2022, 09:34:46 PM
I was thinking that "Casino" is gambling game played by players in this forum. Because I am seen the name everyday, so today I decided to find out how the game is all about.
When I googled the name, then I discovered that it is an establishment for different types of games. Such as: Dice, crabs, black jack keno etc. That is, it is a facility or a platform for gambling. Simply means. It is a building for games. https://www.quora.com/What-is-a-casino

And also. Most terms use in the gambling platform confused me so to contribute and comment is not easy. But I know for sure that it is for the mean time, I will get all for the free flow communication. But if there is any board that I can learn those terms. Please forward the links for easy and faster learning of the terms.

If you want to have a better knowledge with the terminologies in overall gambling regardless of being in physical casinos or online platforms, better check the following links and have an idea on what the words meant:

1. The Essential Glossary Of Gambling Terms
2. Gambling Glossary: A Guide to Gambling Terms

I just don't know the how others could mean other things when reading/saying such basic words. Don't get easily confused just because some uses it for a context. Remember that some terms can really be different regardless of its meaning especially when its meant to have a meaning based on context Smiley in your situation, maybe experience in gambling is something you could also try working on. Some doesn't learn from the readings but from their curiosity out of experiences.
1227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Crypto Signals trading on: March 25, 2022, 06:12:28 PM
Hello,
Does anyone know a very good Cryto signals group for scalping ?

I found so many, some are scam and some without results.

You've found so many and all of them are really scam, regardless if they can't provide results -- which is already a red flag action. As many have already mentioned, no one will ever dare nor mention or refer any signals for you as even they themselves wouldn't trust one. BUT, let me give you an idea on what you should do to be part of crypto signals group. First, make friends to people who are close to you that are onto trading or just those who's in your local area/country. Persuade them to be your friend and help you in your journey on trading. Next, gain their trust as you trust them. Exchange signals and calls regardless if you don't bet a money in it. A successful call can still be successful even if you don't earn money - simply because you earn knowledge by experience. Lastly, ask for calls as well, be active with it, and be consistent on what you do and what aims to do at the first place.

Those were just my takes. I as well found so many scam calls that rugged my money. Yet having trading friends who are signaling first before entering is a different story - a story rare to the others and a story that might still be untold.
1228  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Drake became partners of the Stake Casino on: March 24, 2022, 11:42:17 PM
This is why casinos should invest on this since the returns they can get is very huge and imagine how wide it will reached for acquiring more famous celebrities to promote their casino. And what stake do in partnership with Drake is totally a good stuff for them since by now many talks about this partnership and this will open some good inputs to the fans of Drake and try what he promoted to them, this is really beneficial to crypto and to their business  since it will create more demands and other things.

Its not really a 'should' thing. Drake's partnership is just after Stake notices Drake is playing on their website, and not really Stake inviting Drake first. Yes, it was the best marketing so far done by any Crypto casinos, but it doesn't mean that everyone MUST and COULD pull such strategy off. There are still a lot of things to consider before doing that - one to note is the reputation of the artist/celebrity and the integrity of the casino. Stake was running for a lot of years compared to others that had just been started. Hence, such timeframe of existing and still having tons and growing players/community creates a huge advantage to Stake. Maybe soon after running for years, some of the notable casino platforms might take the same step. But still, it never was necessary if the platform have stable daily active players.
1229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess online? on: March 24, 2022, 11:03:24 PM
~
This is just basing up with my own view on why theres no platforms adopt it.

1. Less demand/interest
2. Boring to look at (Less physical movement etc)
3. Time consuming

So its not surprising that platforms would simply just ignore this one.

A huge respect to your point of view in my suggestion. Yet as what @livingfree already have said, only true players and fans knows the worth and enjoyment chess regardless on what medium it is broadcasted with. Let me breakdown the stereotypes, explain what made those exist, and what really does happen in a mindset of a chess player.

Quote
1. Less demand/interest
It is true that most of the physical-adopted games tends to have more demand and interest such as basketball or boxing. But with the chess masters streaming chess games and even making their own tournaments on twitch (Hikaru Nakamura and Botez Sisters), chess somewhat became a common game to stream on (look at Twitch - have 2M followers on any chess gamers), even xQC and Moist were addicted to winning it against other streamers. Hence, there are demands, just not on the betting market.. yet.

Quote
2. Boring to look at (Less physical movement etc)
Well, some really are bored watching people play chess. SOME, but never ALL. Some people even unknowledgeable in chess tends to enjoy it. How do I know? I even watch MINECRAFT streamers stream Chess and their watchers still maintain to be 5K upto 70k+. How was those viewers still watch those if it was boring? Maybe it wasn't. Or in fact, it really wasn't.

Should I still explain why it isn't time consuming? Apparently, chess games and streams are even more watched than other games, how? It really just depends on the players and CASTERS. Casting is such a huge thing in online tournaments. We just really aren't that familiar those exists.

Lastly, it really is surprising to the fact that those things I say is true and exists. Maybe the betting market has standards or maybe they are just waiting for Chess to be a real mainstream game online? We don't know, until it happens.
1230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: IDO/IEO - Add your project to TrustPad on: March 24, 2022, 10:33:22 PM
For those who want to IDO their token on the TrustPad.
We take care of the entire listing process, video communication, provide a team and all the documentation, after discussing everything in advance.
There is also experience with less popular sites - accordingly it will be cheaper.

It is possible to develop a project from 0 with a listing on the IDO site - this is a completely different price.

TG - https://t.me/yugatech

AFAIK I've already encountered trustpad since last year where it was just on development stage (May to June-ish) and launchpads on that time are so common that it somehow became a place kinda worth investing on. But was such launchpad still have enough investors and small time traders in it? I was in BSCPAD (existed before Trustpad) and had a good run at first but then most of their project investors tend to DEGEN trade their IDO coins hence making their launchpad and IDO value go down. What would you promise the projects in this forum something you can be proud of?

Also, To attract more investors in the forum, make sure that you also provide atleast visual representation of the information that is useful - a basic marketing so to say. I also want to suggest that you post in Services board since you offer services not a project being developed.

Thanks for replying to this thread,
I will make necessary updates to my other threads.

Hate to say this but once any of the support already said to wait for a certain period of time, maybe at least have a little patience and wait jumping onto conclusions and making an accusation. I know it is your freedom to do so, but spamming posts on your own thread than just updating the main post is just pure unnecessary. A good practice to accuse some platforms is to prove with evidences (which you clearly done well) AND wait until such problem is resolved. I've seen you had the same issues with bets on other platforms -- which must be a common problem that occurs amongst all betting platforms, hence opening a thread of accusation is a little defamatory. These are just my take to this kind of spammed accusation. Hope all your tickets would be resolved.
1232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess online? on: March 23, 2022, 11:15:44 PM
Betting in chess sound as a nice way to gamble, the problem is people could use a computer in the hard level to play chess against other people, that way the gamewill be rigged and the winner will be the one with a smarter PC.

So, if you find a place to bet on chess, i would like to recommend you to not place a bet.
I can imagine of that.

But there could be some ways to know that your opponent is the one actually playing it. In that manner, you'll be able to verify that there's no one cheating on the match.

Or, there are platforms and software that would definitely be for the sake of the PvP so that no one uses an AI that nobody knows that he's been cheated on.

Actually, most chess tournaments that had happen online requires an open camera with either a full bust camera or two open cams (one for face and one for hand). Apparently, there are still no events nor betting platforms that offered chess tournament betting online, as there are many things to consider before accepting the tournament and the game itself on a betting platform.

Those considerations to be taken (IMHO) are:
1. The streaming platform that the tournament is being conducted shows their cameras on (as what I indicated above).
2. The game to bet on were happening real-life face-to-face tournaments and also broadcasted online.

Yes, betting on chess is fun. I just don't know why still no platforms adopts it, as no one above 1600+ rating would even dare cheat on chess games. It's a matter of their integrity as well.
1233  Economy / Gambling / Re: BoleBit|Multi-language Crypto game provider with all Currencies&Cryptocurrencies on: March 23, 2022, 10:27:59 PM
launching even though its still incomplete.I agree that i've seen several sites too on having this kind of behavior on where launching on different type or scale where it wasnt still finished.
We could presume on what would really be their intent but it do really sucks to look at on dealing on something which does have still lots of things to be fixed or changed.
If it is said to be in a hurry to announce far in advance when a long period of time is clear to anyone this will be considered boring. Maybe it will even make this game no longer give an attractive impression. If they come up with a new version of the game that is much more effective maybe the OP will regret that telling us for a long time is the wrong way of promotion.

The only thing that makes such long time of fixing and development is the patience of the players. There's really nothing wrong if you wouldn't bother trying it, but someone out there, with max curiosity on what their games was, will. Announcing it ahead prior to its main release is just called 'alpha/beta testing' where such games are released regardless of the bugs it have and changes it require. The only problem that the OP and their game provider business is that they must also market those games in ways that they pay at least the testers a little to test their games. Quality and Assurance testing is a real job and mostly not given free, unless it is a Play-to-earn like Axie Infinity. Hence, this demo release doesn't have any problems at all, yet it will just not be that effective.
1234  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: btcminingmachine.com Review For SCAM - BEWARE OF THIS WEBSITE on: March 22, 2022, 11:31:02 PM

Good call as well. Also, such website is so bad that even no one with basic knowledge of mining would even dare to transact with them. I've tried to add to cart and they include their BTC wallet address, might as well prevent transacting on such address than their scam platform alone. Yes, some might just be fooling around to include a targeted person's BTC address, but its better safe than loosing funds.

The BTC address - bc1q7zjp3csx560smhagq2y52f4njsv45gt7qz57f9 (has ~650USD) --- address not found used nor posted in the forum
1235  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New project on cryptocurrency Information on: March 22, 2022, 11:08:55 PM
Hello, I would like to introduce you to my new project
many times you have to go to several sites to find out the price of ( cryptocurrencies )

Was this a personal project? If it was so, then I am amazed with how many features you've implemented and you've achieved in that platform regardless if some where outdated. And if you worked as a team, I would just suggest you guys improve this from hereafter. Your website have a lot to improve and more features to be both enhanced and developed. It seems that you have many features but too many you haven't managed to showcase it in a manner that we are not bombarded with information that we don't even need. Make it simpler. UI/UX-wise, you should also adopt the minimalist/clean interface, where as you use the 60-30-10 rule for your color palette. A good start in fact, yet had more to improve.
1236  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blinkhash - Open-source, easy to use, mining pool software on: March 22, 2022, 10:32:07 PM
Out of curiosity, why do you think this particular feature is unnecessary? I'm not a back-end coder by any means, but AFAIK, it'd be more profitable for the miners if that feature existed [unless I missed something].

Yeah you're not wrong that it'd be a useful addition, but with the rewrite I tried to focus on more of the fundamental features of the mining pool rather than anything auxiliary. Coin-switching would have to come with connections to exchanges/profit trackers and I didn't want to tie functionality to anything third-party at this point.

Good decision making you did there. Your project being open-source and free to everyone in the mining community is already enough whilst having ties with exchanges/profit trackers might just put your free software to be either paid in membership or full, as most of such third party data sources would require payment for your system to gain access to theirs. But are there no open source or free exchanges as well? I don't know if it would be possible having ties with them at your back end. But if it is something that would be a great feature, then I guess it could be a part of the development in the future.

Still, such feature also have another problem to arise, what if other devs preferred this or that exchanges/profit trackers? Then I guess your system would really just not implement it right. Cheesy
1237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Largest Slots Win in Washington State History on: March 22, 2022, 09:54:53 PM
What do you think? Dare to play $5/spin in a slot with more than 400k max-win? For me, I'd stick to 5,000x max-win Cheesy
FYI DOA 2 only has 111,111x max-win, and it's so tough.

Well apparently that guy already have won 20,000USD on other slot machine [1] in the past and is a common player in that casino (Tulalip Casino). Hence, 5$ bet is just common for him - a casual gambler so to say. But if you would ask a normal gambler who plays only when they have spare money or when they want to, then such bet would be worth a try but not worth to keep trying to achieve. Knowing the fact that physical slot machines is a pure random with 0.1% chance of winning the jackpot [2], only 0.1% percent of all gamblers as well would dare to try it. He's so lucky, having to had that chance, but others must not see it as 'their own' chance as well.

1238  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blinkhash - Open-source, easy to use, mining pool software on: March 21, 2022, 11:47:47 PM
Regarding challenges, while I think Foundation is pretty easy to setup + manage, it still takes some knowledge to debug any issues. The main point of being a reliable mining pool owner is being able to ensure uptime, as every second that your pool is down, your miners are losing money. If you can't guarantee that, it's very likely that your miners will choose to go elsewhere.

This is indeed a thing to consider before some company or individual take your software as part of their business. One problem I don't know if they might encounter is security once there are still bugs on the software. So far, your software being open source and easy to use is a huge contribution to the mining community. Also, the reason why some asks for what would be your 'mode of earning' in this contribution is that your software can make tons of money for someone who have enough hardware and money to make an infrastructure of servers. Hence why not at least highlight the fact that donation would help you a lot make this a firm software - it isn't necessary indeed but would adds up some return to your hardwork for 2 years.

If you ever aren't alone, I know you and your team will reach far in mining community with this contribution. Keep up the good work. There's a lot of things in mining that has to be innovate.

It had 63 replies and the main thread was already deleted, maybe I guess due to being off topic with gambling nor had any context on whom to gamble at all. But now this new thread had a poll on who to choose and bet, yet still don't know whats the point of re-making it. To those who just bumped onto this, feel free to just read the deleted post, some might repost their takes as well. Undecided

1. You pay (of course)
2. In the ticket, I'll ask for your stake API key.
3. I'll encrypt it with a private key in an encryption application (you can provide this if you want otherwise it will be randomly generated)
4. I'll send you the encrypted key, you may then erase your API key message.
5. Your key is no longer in my possession, and it's encrypted form has been entered into the software.
6. I ask you a few questions, such as whether you want free picks, what your unit percentage is, and whether you want to wager on our other tipster's picks, among other things. I also explain rules you must follow for your own protection.
7. The software runs as soon as I place the bet in my account, usually 10-30 minutes before I post to other members.

I think many wouldn't understand how this will work. A lot in here wants passive income hence wants to know more about your Autobetting services. It's kinda risky if they will provide you their Stake API key as such key can give access to their Stake account and let the keyholder call API methods such as make bets and etc. One thing to enlighten others how you would handle their key without you having a full control in it is that you either explain it in Infographic or video form.

As far as I can tell and base on my little knowledge about encryption is that you'll take their encrypted key and use it on software that will decrypt it so that it will remain private for the key owner... right? if I'm wrong then I really do suggest you either published in Github or just here what would be the methods on your software and how it will decrypt it without being reprinted in plain text format.

Another thing is since you don't guarantee a win, might as well change the thread subject so it wouldn't be misleading.
