1321  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | 0.28% House edge | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: February 25, 2022, 08:59:04 AM
Meanwhile we will launch in few days a completely new affiliation system. So many of you who understand the potential in backjack.fun, can start earning by promoting us. With the best affiliation program details so stay tuned. Casino which is not so well known yet, but has bright future, is the best to affiliate. It is Your oppotunity! Let´s grow together!
When I tried modifying the signature's BBCode in order to embed the unique affiliate link of my blackjack.fun account into my signature space, I discovered that when someone(I asked for help to someone to click my sig space) clicked the signature space with the affiliate link included in it, the website only displayed the original "blackjack.fun" without the affiliate code on the URL tab.

So I decided to revert back to the original code and moved on with it  Cheesy

I know this isn't the utmost priority but one thing that can be changed/or added is to put the signature code available on the website, so that when someone created an account, they can see the blackjack.fun signature code (from Member - Legendary ranks) where their unique affiliate code is included in it. This is effective not only for bitcointalk signature campaign participants but also to those blackjack.fun avid users with bitcointalk accounts.
1322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Conditions of bounty campaigns these days on: February 25, 2022, 06:31:25 AM
I'm surprised that individuals are still interested in participating in bounty campaigns after the 2017 ICO buzz has waned, rendering bounty campaigns useless.

However, if you join these projects, you will be wasting your time by creating several social media accounts, bitcointalk accounts, and other platforms just to receive vapourware tokens. ICOs that run bounty campaigns are not profitable today, unlike those that were projects in 2017 who made a lot of bitcointalk users filthy rich!

@robelneo

Please accept my apologies for troubling you! :'(I just wanted to ask you if it's possible if you could provide or share with us the NFT bundle e-book? I've been collecting these candies for a few weeks now and it seems like it'll take forever to acquire the NFT bundle e-book. You know if it's okay for you to share it..Thank you!!

Heres comes your bible!

Beginners & Help Encyclopedia [UPD: +Electrum Board]
Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ

I highly suggest to read 1 or 2 thread per day to slowly absorb the knowledge and not be overwhelmed by the amount of concepts and technicalities in this space. So yeah! Welcome to the forum!
1325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hold with ease on: February 23, 2022, 09:28:28 AM
Just a few pointers, presuming you've done your homework, have a day job, and have some cash available for emergencies.

To begin, transfer all of your long-term crypto out of an exchange and into an offline environment. When you keep crypto on an exchange, you may feel tempted to sell if the price of the coin you're holding rises. And putting it in an offline environment would increase the friction of transferring them back to an exchange; in other words, you're increasing the amount of steps required to sell your cryptocurrency, making it less appealing.

You may say that the process is simple, but hey! It's effective for me!
1326  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | 0.28% House edge | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: February 23, 2022, 08:42:05 AM
I think it is only fair for blackjack.fun to manually verify its users' withdrawals, especially if the client has not made an initial deposit. And I'm sure this manual monitoring of withdrawals on the admins' part isn't new to those who have participated at a casino signature campaign who pays their participants in their respective accounts.

If this is always the case, then it would be much better to plan your withdrawal ahead of time to avoid having issues with your schedule.

I would like to participate on it but do they allow negative trust users to join in their art contest? It would be nice if I could showcase my art even though I am not really that good.
Yeah! There are other participant who submitted an artwork with a negative trust on their account and are still able to win a prize. Other than that, it is also not indicated on the Announcement thread that having a negative trust is prohibited.

One example is this user -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2555471 who is announced to be the winner of the said contest -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5259574.msg54928901#msg54928901
1328  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: trusted recovery agent on: February 22, 2022, 02:16:23 PM
Just to add!

There is also one reddit account[1] that is actively promoting aramezglobal.com with repettetive messages whenever someone complains about the necessity for bitcoin or other crypto account recovery. When you encounter shillers from a forum, you can bet they're being paid to promote their shady company.

1329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Miner and Wallet Help Needed on: February 21, 2022, 03:51:49 PM
I am not a miner but from what I know, you are going to withdraw your rewards from your mining pool to your litecoin wallet. And I think others have a function of auto-withdrawal once you've reached the minimum amount. I just don't know exactly the details on how you can do it.

And yeah, I just requested the moderator to move your topic to Mining (Altcoins) so you can receive answers related from mining.
1330  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trying to know more about crypto wallets on: February 21, 2022, 03:37:34 PM
IMO, I won't suggest to newbies this paper wallet as the Bitcoin wallet, because it's a very crucial part when you create this and if you don't have experience or knowledge, it could be your Bitcoin will be lost.
What I am talking about is how OP can store his seed phrases by writing them down on a piece of paper and laminating it to increase its longevity since metal seed plates are somewhat expensive and is an overkill for a newbie to use.

Paper wallet is different, and I too, would not recommend the use of it. It requires a lot of technical know-how to be able to use them effective while reducing the risk of losing your hard earned crypto.
1331  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trying to know more about crypto wallets on: February 21, 2022, 03:01:35 PM
1. Is there any proper place to keep your private keys?
Keep it offline. This means that a traditional pen and paper would be your best bet especially if you can't afforrd a metal seed plate[1] that are able to withstand threats that could cause physical damage (e.g., wear, tear, fire, water). Just don't forget to laminate the paper once you finished writing them down to preserve and increase the longevity of the paper.

Somewhere that you can find or use again and not be easily accessible to anyone. Some people use some Shamir backup methods with keeping their private keys. You can basically keep it in different places. Even if someone manages to get your backup, they need the other pieces of it.
Aside from examining the use of copy distribution to other locations, you also need to consider the distance of that specific location. If the distance between you and your seed phrase is too far, having a copy of your seed phrase becomes useless, and it is ideal if it is in an area with the least likelihood of being hit by a typhoon or other calamity that could cause your backup to be lost.

1332  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 BetFury.io|⚡️ Meet BFG on Coinsbit ⚡️| 🎮Free-to-Play on: February 21, 2022, 01:53:35 PM
I'm not completely understand why it's need additional rules of creating an account in Betfury in order to join while the payment will go directly on each participants address?
It is still a good idea, I guess? Well, if the signature campaign participants are allowed to insert their own referral(that comes from their account) to their signature space, then why not?

I remember back then from our previous campaign together, having a referral link is pretty awesome because you are earning extras from big bettor/wager which is a plus not only from our side but also to BetFury.
1333  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1win on Bitcointalk! on: February 21, 2022, 01:36:22 PM
The website looks good
Wait! How did you find their website if the author of this thread does not include a link to their casino "1wIn". Or did I just miss something?

Furthermore, the OP's account has been inactive for the past seven days, and I am afraid that @Bratranko's concern will not be properly addressed, especially given that their post, which was supposed to be an announcement, is rather worthless.
1334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lost on how the NFT works on: February 20, 2022, 04:23:54 PM
over the last couple of months,I have read people selling their work of art,some pieces and making bulk of money,iven snoop dog cashed out on NFt recently
It isn't limited to "aRtWorks" only, some people are selling their selfies[1] and sexy pictures[2] that is being sold for thousands of dollar.

So yeah, you are basically buying a digital signature or receipt of images that's being recorded on a blockchain to serve as a proof that you own that digital asset. And mostly, the NFT scene is full of people who speculate or flip for capital gains.
1335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Withdrwal issue with myetherwallet on: February 20, 2022, 04:08:21 PM
By looking at your transaction hash, you did not indicate the amount of USDT you're going to send to Binance.

Just a tip though, carefully examine the transaction tab of every wallet or exchange you are going to use because you will spending a ton of transaction fees if the information is incorrectly filled up especially now that you are using ETH chain.

1336  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A thing worst than "don't trade with your emotion" a trader should avoid on: February 20, 2022, 03:13:16 PM
If there's one thing that equates to trading with your emotion, that would be those shitty 10x, 100x thumbnails which are basically your PnL. You see, a lot of people including myself trade their PnL's instead of their technicals, and I admit that's it's the most difficult thing to do.

When you look at and trade your PnL, you get a roller coaster of emotions that impedes your ability to trade your technicals, resulting in incorrect entry and exit. It's not a good idea to enter or exit a trade based on fear or greed. You enter a trade because you see something that validates your directional bias, and you exit a trade because it confirms your invalidation level and the trade is no longer applicable.

Doing this religiously would at least control your decision making.
1337  Other / Meta / Re: When NFT board? on: February 18, 2022, 08:30:29 AM
@Murat

I don't think that adding an NFT section will be implemented anytime soon! There are also other threads[1] that discusses the same topic saying that the most appropriate board would be the Altcoin Section and Token (Altcoins) chidboard that you are already familiar with.

1338  Other / Meta / Re: Deletion of my post on: February 18, 2022, 08:06:42 AM

*I have 1 hour interval each of my post
Hmmm...You can still be creating unconstructive post even if you take into account your time interval. And I guess that even if you find many threads that interest you, simply composing a constructive and less generic post would take you considerably longer time.

* i am not a one liner poster..
There are instances that a one liner post says more than a TedTalk.

*i'm trying to make a unique post in every thread.
Unfortunately, a post that you think is unique might not be useful/unique to other people and that's a hard truth.

I don't know if there's someone playing the report button and wants to take down my account.. Or it's because of my English?  Cry
Hey! A poor English doesn't mean that you are creating a bad quality post because there are people I've seen who gets their idea/ point across even though they are not a native English Speaker. The goal is to be understood, not to impress, remember!

If there is something I can suggest, replying or posting on a topic without feeling pressured while having to add something new to the disccusion (e.g., opinion, fact) that you think is not being repeated is something that would decrease your chances of deleted post.
1339  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Number of Post in a Day and a Week. on: February 18, 2022, 07:11:50 AM
There is no total number of posts for a week or day. There is just a wait time between posts, sort of like a cool down time to stimulate users to read more then they post. Here is how it is calculated based on your activity;
Code:
waittime = 360;
if(activity >= 15)
        waittime = (int)(90 - activity);
if(activity >= 60)
        waittime=(int)(34.7586 - (0.0793103 * activity));
if(activity >= 100)
        waittime = max((int)(14-(activity/50)), 4);
The higher your activity, the shorter the time.
Okay so I understand that the higher your activity is the shorter your waiting or post interval would be. But by looking at the code, and substituting my current activity count which is 1106, the waiting time gives me a negative value for >= 15 and >= 60

Code:
if(activity >= 15)
        waittime = (int)(90 - 1106);  = -1016
Code:
if(activity >= 60)
        waittime=(int)(34.7586 - (0.0793103 * 1106)); = -52.96
Code:
if(activity >= 100)
        waittime = max((int)(14-(1106/50)), 4); = 4

Should I take the negative as an equivalent for a longer period of waiting time? Or I am just taking the code literally..

Congratulations to everyone especially to @Oasisman!

Even though I was not able to participate due to time constraints caused by a ton of academic workloads and other side activities, seeing a lot of good entries using paint is really fun and exciting to see!!

If I may ask, will there be another Paint Art Competition ahead of us?
