1861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Joshua Franco vs Kazuto Ioka WBA World Superfly (June 24) on: June 24, 2023, 12:47:27 PM

Thanks,.

Congratulations to Kazuto Ioka! I don't understand what they are saying, but judging by how the fight unfolded, I believe Kazuto Ioka won via unanimous decision.

Yes, Kazuto won via a unanimous decision over Franco 116-112 twice, 115-113, Franco is very slow and obviously, Ioka is dominating the fight, the additional weight for Franco did not work for Franco's advantage, I guess this settle the fight, Joshua can move up as he cannot keep up making the super flyweight anymore.

Congratulation to Ioka and those who bet on him.
1862  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by a domain name "Buyer"... Sent me Bitcoin through a fake exchange. on: June 24, 2023, 10:18:37 AM
This an old MO, I got many fake client tried to scam me with this kind of MO, they ask me to make an account on their fake exchange, make that it seems like my account has been sent some Bitcoin but then I cannot withdraw it except I deposit some money to meet the minimal withdrawal/or for verification. If you have already deposited some money then there is nothing you can do.

What you can do now is share all the accounts that is used by the scammers, so people will aware.

Yeah really old they are doing new variations or methods I first encounter this, years ago when they are using a casino as their means to scam, they will tell you that they found a bug in the casino and they will make you win, you sign up give you a bonus then you play then you won and then they ask you to deposit so they can verify the address where they will send the winning.

Then there is this mining, web miner you just hit the button to mine using your browser they tell you mined 0.1 Bitcoin but you have to deposit first before they send you your coin to verify your address, the trick or method has always been deposit first to verify the address, if you are not aware of this trick you'll get scammed, they will keep doing new variations because there will always new people who are not aware of this trick.
1863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing Altcoin (ATC), Ethereum's alternative to Bitcoin on: June 23, 2023, 11:48:35 PM
Based on what I see its another shitcoin in Ethereum chain, there's no feature that can differentiate this token from all the shitcoins we have in the past and in the present, if you are different then why not create your own chain and for the lack of good name you come up with a generic name.
Everything I've seen on the site, its features, and so-called advantages I have already seen in so many shitcoin, so I consider this an altcoin shitcoin.
1864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between futures trading and gambling on: June 23, 2023, 11:17:05 PM
Casinos promote themselves as entertainment portals and many gamblers go there to have fun and hope to win money, this is something you cannot see in a trading platform, it's not an entertainment portal, and it's not fun trading to gain profit because there's a lot of works and hours involved.
The casino is not a place where you can make money it's where you go to have fun, whereas on a trading platform, your motivation is to make money.

1865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Joshua Franco vs Kazuto Ioka WBA World Superfly (June 24) on: June 23, 2023, 10:20:18 PM
Personally, i changed my mind and will now bet for the Japanese as the percentage of him winning got higher with this news of Franco not making the weight.

What would be the penalty for him not making weight? Can he still make the fight happen? I was thinking if a boxer does not make it to the weigh-in, that would result in disqualification. Maybe my knowledge is not correct.

Depends on the situation because there are some cases that a boxer will be given at least a few couple of hours to finalize their weight and eventually, they are able sunk their body according to the needed weight and will able to continue the fight.

But in some cases, boxer's aren't given the same chance and will just have to fight each other for the sake of their fan bases that paid to watch them especially if they were the finale. Just like what happened to Shakur Stevenson before he climbed the next weight class.

6.7 pounds is so hard to put out with limited time but they agreed to continue the fight with Ioka the only one eligible to win the title, but Franco will have a slight advantage because of the added weight, it somewhat lessens the motivation for a fighter that has an excess weight and not eligible for the title anymore,

Here is what his camp says
Quote
“In the next two hours we will know how far we can make it. We just want to try to go make weight, focus on the fight and get everything over with. It hasn’t been an easy week. It’s been pretty tough.
it would have been great if Franco could still reach the weight limit but I doubt it will have consequences if they force it, so better continue just let it be and concentrate on the fight.
1866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: June 23, 2023, 09:19:01 PM

The thesis would consist that, although the probability of winning classical lotteries is near zero (typically between 0.0000007% in the case of Euromillions and 0.000003% in the case of national lotteries), people is willing to pay an excessive overprice because they are buying the right to dream about the possibility of winning.

There are people winning the lotteries so why not give it a shot you could be the next winner in the next draw, for third-world countries like ours, winning a lottery is a lifetime dream of everyone here, they don't care about probabilities, you cannot talk them out of lottery because of probabilities of winning the lottery they will not accept the logic even if they know its almost impossible to win they will keep on buying hoping to be the next guy to be handled out a check worth millions.
1867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: June 23, 2023, 02:38:06 PM

Am hoping they don't cancel it citing it as mere joke.
Elon really talks like a bully most times, but he is a boss just like Mark, hence why they must talk tough and bark orders and feel better causing a stir on social media just to gain more audience.

I would love to see these two billionaires get in the ring though, even if it not as serious a match as it normally would be.

I'm also hoping that they will push with the match, their respective lawyers and advisors might interfere, but we know these two guys are full of egos and boastful about their achievements they will wait for each other to who will first back up.
This is going to be a big event and it will be covered by international media but they will also become the laughing stock of the world.
Imagine two corporate magnates going to each other physically, in the old days magnates usually pick fighters to fight for them and they bet huge amounts of money.
1868  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1XBIT SCAMMED for 30.69mBTC on: June 23, 2023, 01:18:19 PM

Their sportsbook offer and software is unfortunately very nice and that encouraged me to try playing there. Lesson learned for me to not trust any site from 1x group.

You have poor judgment in picking a casino, many are like this, they go for interface and fake reviews and they learned late and charge it to experience, this is a very costly mistake not every day you can win against the casino, if you win you deserve your winning, in the case of 1xbit they don't want winners they expect you to lose or they will scam you, first time I read that they allow you to refund but I still consider them a scam they will never change their ways.
Do your friends a favor and let them know about 1xbit and warn them not to pay.

1869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be a trap? on: June 23, 2023, 10:48:09 AM
I wasn't holding any specific amount I wanted buy during last dip but this came to me that the market could possibly go low so was still watching the market before it changes it direction to a potential Green which I think I am already left out of the race, that was why I asked if I could get into the market presently seeing that bitcoin taken another new dimension. The sudden change might be as a result of good news or positive sign for bitcoin growth.

This is one of the issues one is going to encounter when holding back buying, we are hoping for the floor price but we do not have an idea of the floor price, so we are in a hurry to buy when the market turns to green.
My strategy is small buy whenever there is a slight dip so for every dip I allocate small amounts to buy, and when I have the idea that it reaches the floor price that's the time I will give all I got, waiting for the floor price is quite demanding you have to follow the market and you have to follow the news, great news will give a positive response in the market, so always check if there is good news in the industry.
1870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: June 22, 2023, 11:42:43 PM
Age will be a big factor I have seen Mark winning a jujitsu title he said that he is more vegetarian now which will make him healthier than Musk all advantage is on Mark now, we are not going to see action-packed matches because these two are amateurs.
We will see a lot of interest and excitement because not every day do you get to see the two wealthiest men on the planet battling it out physically, the competition usually happens in how their platform performs in the market.
I hope both men are not joking it will create a lot of stir and maybe bet with their own shares to motivate themselves to give out their best.
1871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling, investment, stocks..... on: June 22, 2023, 11:16:36 PM
Gambling stocks is not as profitable as investing in Cryptocurrency, but I still prefer to invest and in fact, have invested in token-based casinos where I get staking rewards, I have never invested in stock trading but have friends who urge me to give it a try and based on their description I don't think it will not be as profitable and excited investing in gambling stocks.
If you're a big-time investor you could diversify your portfolio but for small and medium investors Cryptocurrency is the best investment, many traders are now shifting from stock to cryptocurrency because they know where the money is.
1872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trump Coin ($dtc) is starting to move. on: June 22, 2023, 09:47:20 PM
Every time Trump plan to run for the presidency expects coins named after him will be created or relaunched, Trump is not aware of this project because it's created by his supporters who want to make money from people who support and believe in Trump,

But like the first Trump coin in the market, it will suffer from the same fate and people should be careful investing in meme coins like this, there is a chance for profit but there's a big chance that you are going to lose more if you cannot dump at the right time.
1873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: June 22, 2023, 09:26:43 PM
Do you know what's going to happen to cheaters when caught, their earnings are confiscated, and their accounts banned the casinos have a system in place to catch cheaters so even if you're good at cheating in other fields, I don't think you have a good chance in casinos.

In the case of game fixing its ok to be on a fixed game you're not the one fixing the game, so you're not involved in cheating you are just a regular bettor who made money from betting, when it comes to betting in a fixed game the risk is still on bettors, they will bet a huge amount for an opportunity to win big, but what if the fixers change their mind.
1874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Joshua Franco vs Kazuto Ioka WBA World Superfly (June 24) on: June 22, 2023, 02:25:09 PM

I have given Franco the first fight, yes, it's very close but I guess the sheer volume alone could have tip the scale for him. But nevertheless, the Japanese judges are not going to award him the win as Ioka is one of their respected champion. Unless Franco is the clear winner or wins by knockout, then he could have the belt. But Ioka is very tough and that's why he is willing for a rematch here.

Franco should have the initiative and be the aggressor just like he did in their first fight, this is the disadvantage of fighting a champion on his own turf, you have to take the crown decisively, and if the fight is too close the judges will go for the home favorite.
Franco has no choice but to go all out, and go for knock out I'm sure he is prepare for this and its going to be a war between the two as both fighters have the same style and the same motivation to win the match.
1875  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: New Mystic Stealer targets 40 web browsers and crypto wallets on: June 22, 2023, 01:37:45 PM
Every click matters now more than ever. A single error could cost us our entire wallet.

Hacking and scamming are at an all-time high and they will go higher, awareness of the risk on every file you encounter is more important than ever, it is not ok to rely everything on anti-virus and anti-malware.

Now more than ever we have to upgrade our knowledge about security, hackers are working 24/7 to devise a scheme to hack as many computers as possible because they know every computer is a potential keeper of cryptocurrency.

1876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermall Charlo Super Middleweight (September 16) on: June 22, 2023, 11:09:14 AM

WBC has favored Jermall Charlo to retain his belt even without having any title defense because the WBC champion had a serious head injury and other personal matters to solve, which made people to speculate that Charlo had a mental illness following his head injury.

Although none of that were confirmed, it will still remain as a mystery on why Charlo stayed inactive for almost two years.

And now that he is making his return, hopefully we can receive any answers during one of their few press conference or at least post-fight press conference.

The biggest question right now and I'm sure will be asked in the press conference is why a fighter like Canelo is in his comeback fight, I know Jermall is good but even a great fighter will have a hard time dealing with ring rust, two years is enough to consider it like retirement, unless he is not stopping his training and does sparring at least 2 weeks in a month.

Jermall will have a good excuse if he loses by knockout and I will be surprised and praise him if he upsets Canelo, Canelo's speed and power is still there, even though his dominant win against Ryder is being questioned.

1877  Economy / Services / Re: How do I find a Client that paid for A Job and Disappeared? on: June 22, 2023, 09:34:13 AM
A client hired me to write some articles in April. They contacted me on Telegram and paid an advance. Since then, I've not been able to reach them. I've done half of the job and though I need the balance, I'm more concerned about their safety. By the way, they said they're not a member of the forum, but know a moderator here. I've contacted the mod but he doesn't seem to know my client What I have is just his Telegram username. Who has an idea how to find my client? I just need a guide and won't be sharing their details to protect their privacy.

What about their safety why are you concerned about their safety is your client in a war-torn country, id telegram is their only means of communication then you have no chance to contact them just wait for them to contact you since you posted it here, you have to respect their privacy, I'm sure they will contact you if they surf this forum again and have seen this thread.

Moderators for privacy concerns will not give you details unless you have a compelling reason why you need to get in touch to them, payment is not compelling enough.
1878  Economy / Gambling / Re: FLIP.casino - ONLINE CRYPTO GAMBLING | $2.00 SIGN UP BONUS on: June 21, 2023, 11:28:48 PM
Simply turn off your Kaspersky before visiting the website, it's because your AV is too sensitive, nothing to do with our website security.

Why would I turn off my online protection I inform you about this for you to take action and not ask me to turn off my AV, you know it's not good for a casino to be flagged by Anti Virus when there are available methods to fix the problems.

If you do not know how to fix this is the method to do this.

What To Do When Your Website Is Flagged Unsafe by Anti-Virus Software

1879  Economy / Gambling / Re: FLIP.casino - ONLINE CRYPTO GAMBLING | $2.00 SIGN UP BONUS on: June 21, 2023, 10:50:04 PM
If you're running an online casino and you have this you have a cause for concern other AV is not showing this warning but is very sensitive to a site that looks like a threat, you may want to fix this and if you're serious in your presence here inBitcointalk might as well get a copper account and create a good announcement thread into something that we can easily trust.

1880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between pi and bitcoin on: June 21, 2023, 09:42:45 PM
Hello guys,I learnt that pi network is a crytocurrency that is beneficial in the community ecosystem that you can mine with,I want to know their clarified differences and if the pi network and bBTC does same functions.

It's easy:

Bitcoin is decentralized, PI is centralized you have to submit KYC to claim your mined token
Bitcoin is on all exchanges, PI is not even on one, the PI that is listed on an exchange is a fake one
Bitcoin is the true Cryptocurrency, PI is a shitcoin that does not have value.

There's no similarity between the two so forget about PI and just go for Bitcoin especially now that the bull run is coming.

Forget about what the admins of PI are telling its investors all of it are empty promises.
