1341  Economy / Economics / Re: New Research found Work from home workers to be less productive on: August 11, 2023, 02:44:07 PM
It's not the case here in our country in fact our government encourages working from home because it will save time from commuting an average worker here in our country spend 3 to 5 hours of commuting because we have one of the worse traffic here in our country and by working from home the worker will be more productive because they can spend more quality works because they don't have to dress up and commute saving money and time.
Besides companies here have grading systems you need to be productive and efficient to stay on the job or be promoted so I could say it's a country-to-country situation or scenario.
1342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW DO WE TRANSFER BITCOIN WEALTH TO HEIRS AND THE NEXT GENERATION on: August 11, 2023, 01:27:50 PM
This thought have been bothering me for a while and I feel we can discuss it here. Many people that are building their Bitcoin portfolio are doing it to also save for the coming generation. However, how this wealth will be transferred to the heirs and the next generation and how this wealth will be preserved without being lost or causing problems still remain unclear.

I understand for other tangible assets, a WILL can be written to be revealed when the time is right. But for Bitcoin, I don't know how this can be done as it may require revealing the secrete codes of the wallets or storage device. Is there any other way this can be done?

If you're going to pass your Bitcoin or your portfolio to your children, you should first educate them on how Cryptocurrency works, you can rent a safety deposit box from one of the leading banks in your country or buy a good vault the private keys and the seeds should be in a ledger and the instruction to open it should be only by the heirs with all the instructions on it.

But if you have grown up and matured children you should give it to them while they are still alive so you can see what they are going to do with their inheritance many people are already doing that.
1343  Economy / Services / Re: Typing job on: August 11, 2023, 12:53:28 PM

Well, I think he intentionally made some mistakes on His post as part of His Marketing Strategy.

How come? if you used the word expert in your service or application you should reflect that in your application or task, it should be unquestionable, that's a very bad marketing strategy he did not proofread his post so how can his client be sure that he will deliver a good service, he did not post a sample of his work, we can forgive this typo error if we can have a sample of his work that is good enough for him to claim that he is an expert.
1344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: August 11, 2023, 11:44:01 AM
A news had come out in relation to this fight.

Both were handed a medical suspension for 31 days, read the full information here.

What are your thoughts about the news?

30 days are still good its hard-fought both fighters have gone through, this is to protect the boxers and make their body heal fighter I think the two guys don't need a suspension with all the money they made they can enjoy a long vacation, Nate Diaz reportedly earned $500k million much more than all the fight he had when is still in UFC, this is the reason why fighters from MMA become popular choose to shift to boxing because this is where the money is.
1345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sudden Wealth Syndrome (SWS) In Gambling on: August 11, 2023, 09:59:53 AM
Only time I felt this was when I feel like I could buy some tiny flat in my household. I felt like "wow I finally made but I should do it quick or I may lose money for no reason". It was mainly anxiety of losing money because I never think I could achieve it 15 years ago so. I feel like gamblers are mainly okay with losing (they lose countless times) but when they win something like 500k usd they would feel really weird im sure. This syndrome could make them have bad decisions. Its best to get professional help after you feel that way.
You should have a ready plan and at least be discreet about it, I'm very discreet when I'm winning, and when making a profit from gambling the fewer people who know about it the less issue you'll have, as long as you have a plan you have to stick to it because those plans were created when you are sober.
It is hard to act and decide when you are excited about your winning, you tend to make bad decisions and those decisions will have an impact on your situation.
1346  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Iceriver.io - not sure how to proceed, but we got scammed. on: August 11, 2023, 09:18:31 AM
So an update just occurred. A man has contacted me on Kaspa Discord - the CEO of coinpal.io

He made an investigation for me locally (in Hong Kong) with the information provided in this thread. He was able to help them locate the payment and my order has been changed from "on hold" to "waiting for delivery".

I will post future updates here on that process.

Best,
Dave.

That's good to know. That means they have your payment now, so that is why they put it waiting for delivery, it's not yet over until they deliver what you ordered, what matters is they confirm that they have your payment so they have to deliver.
I'm sure you can track your order so you'll know it's coming, there are a lot of other complaints I wonder if they already addressed it or if they have a chance to get what the others have ordered, let's see their action in you case in the coming days.
1347  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Iceriver.io - not sure how to proceed, but we got scammed. on: August 11, 2023, 07:06:36 AM

I believe they are a legitimate company that is now scamming people by accepting their money and having no products to send and therefore claiming that no money ever arrived.

This is bad when a company that was once legit becomes a scammer because there were positive feedback and good customer testimonials before they started scamming people, I'd like to ask how far will you go if the bank cannot reverse the transaction, will you send a representative to their location to charge them since you have a piece of complete evidence, in return you can ask on the court for damages from this company, this is fraud and they are liable on the laws where they are located.
1348  Other / Meta / Re: Is resetting a BTT account password bad? on: August 10, 2023, 11:26:22 PM
Overall you have to think about what's best for your account and resetting your password is your safety net but even if you set it a hundred times if you have a weak password resetting will not work, if your account here is valuable use a very strong password that even who knows you can crack it, never use a password that is associated for you like your birthdate and of course staking your address is a must, it's our unique recovery method here this is Bitcoin forum so we have our own way of recovery instead of using 2FA or any other means.
1349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO SELL TOKEN WORTH IT 32B $ on: August 10, 2023, 03:24:36 PM
i did buy token 11 month a go now its around 32B $ there is NO liquidity and I'm willing to sell it with 2M $ USDT

token name BUGSBUNNY buy it from pancakeswap

Who in the world would buy it for $2 million when there is no liquidity? your thread is such a big joke this is what happens when you support shitcoin, which is manipulated by developers now you end up a bag holder, there's a big risk in investing in pump and dump coin, there will come a point when it will have zero liquidity, and this is exactly what happen to you you are late dumping your bag I would not even buy it for $5.
This is a lesson learned for you and for all those who invest in pump and dump coin, invest in coins that have proven their worth in the market, and stop taking a chance on new coins, that is being shilled.
1350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: August 10, 2023, 01:29:10 PM

Imho, the fact that he was a boxer, does not mean he can be a good coach. Punching people is one thing, but seeing everything (opponent) from different angle, building strategy, planning, training is different.

It's different when you have someone in your corner who's been there and have one everything, Mike can impart some of his skill in the ring but of course, Mike Tyson is different from Ngannou, in Mike Tyson's heydays he has no strategy he just goes there and goes for the kill, he believes that everyone has a plan until they get hit, so if Mike can teach how to throw a more powerful punch and hit the target at the right time, Ngannou has a good chance, checking the poll here it's a close one, but we have a long way to go, and there's plenty of time for Mike to teach Ngannou everything he knows.

Tyson   - 19 (54.3%)
Ngannou   - 16 (45.7%)
Draw   - 0 (0%)

1351  Economy / Gambling / Re: Free Condolence Bonuses to Betnomi victims on: August 10, 2023, 12:34:18 PM

I think they already know this and they think properly before they proceed so don't worry about them. Betnomi started out great and I'm sure many have gotten scammed by them so the inquiries that Trustdice will get is surely going to be huge.

There are also scammers who will try to abuse this promotion but Trustdice already said that they are strict about this so I doubt they will be successful. Maybe less-demand casinos will get encouraged from this idea and they will also try the same thing. Ex-Betnomi customers are going to be happy for that because they might end up getting more? But if they are an irresponsible gambler, they will still lose more later on.

Since there's no abuse has been reported yet, I guess they are doing fine on their verification done with those ex betnomi users and I guess some of them are glad about what trust dice did. But for sure some are still traumatize regarding on what they are newly experience. But still this is good move made by them since for doing condolence bonus to betnomi users they will lead them to play on their casino and might they can acquire there whales and their loyal players.

That's good to know but we'll see in the coming days, it seems they are good at verifying ex betnomi members  but we'd like to read the representative updates if there are scammers who tried to abuse this bonus, if successful we will see more casinos or Trustdice doing it again when another casino turned scam but hopefully, there will be no more established casino turning scam, we don't want members losing money.,
It's hard when you trust a casino and you are already comfortably playing with it only to turn to scam later.
1352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sudden Wealth Syndrome (SWS) In Gambling on: August 09, 2023, 11:24:55 PM
The key here is planning ahead and keeping it discreet, when you're planning ahead it's not that you are expecting money to come its for you not to get a loss in making a decision when you suddenly win or accumulate a huge amount of money and another one is discretion not letting everybody knows what you've had until the time you know where to spend or what is the right thing to do with the money.

Sudden Wealth Syndrome (SWS) can also be overcome by not touching the money, for a period of time until you resolve the syndrome and awareness of the existing symptoms of Sudden Wealth Syndrome (SWS) will help you make the right decision.

1353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: August 09, 2023, 10:34:56 PM

The 'Mike Tyson with Ngannou's corner' thing looks like it's just a gimmick to get more eyes in the build up for the event.  Mike Tyson is a house hold name, wouldn't hurt to pay him whatever his fee is and have him around you during press conferences, open work outs and what not.

When it was announced that he was gonna be with Ngannou, the vids of Steven Seagal 'teaching' Anderson Silva the front kick suddenly popped in my mind.  It could be exactly the same thing.  I mean at the end of it all, Fury vs Ngannou is an expensive dog and pony show.

You've got to give credit to Mike Tyson he is involved with these two fighters one fighter was named after him and he has a close association with the other fighter so getting him involved will add spice to the event, we never know but Mike could be involved in a thrash talk too, you know the Furys they want to hype any events where they are involved so we'll see in the press conferences if there's going to be thrash talks.
But I'm sure people will watch this not only for the boxing but for the dramas that come along with it.
1354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: August 09, 2023, 09:41:51 PM
Well most violence that has been seen in the gambling world can be traced to either using borrowed money to place bets or by not paying up a loss bet. I think just like it's not advice to use borrowed Money to Invest in Crypto-currency, so it is not wise to use borrowed money to gamble.

When you're playing with money that comes from a loan you are forced to win and when you lose you bend your anger to anyone and you become a violent man this usually happens in physical casinos where we see people bending their anger to slots or chairs or anything that they can hold on even to the point of punching people, there are so many of these on Youtube where people cannot control their anger after losing because many of these people play money coming from loans

Who would buy your token for $2 million if he cannot sell it because of a lack of liquidity, you cannot even sell it yourself this is the risk of buying new tokens today you are late in dumping it now you are a bag holder of that token, you are not the only one with this problem when I was active in bounty campaign I always received my shares coming from bounty after the developers and early investors dump their share so it has no value anymore, what you're holding is a pump and dump token and there are so many tokens right now that's waiting to be dump by their bag holders and developers.
1357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots fever on: August 09, 2023, 11:02:17 AM

Till today, I have had some losses and also some fine hits, what about you guys? Do you have any Slots spinning story to share? I'm sure some people are more lucky than many others.

Not slot, but dice I am one of those who fall from the belief that doubling is a good strategy to win, I have experienced beginner's luck on dice, and dice is one of the games that you can easily get hooked on there are a lot of variations that you can think of when playing dice.

Until now I have had my ups and downs in dice game but the downs are more than the hits, I guess the house edge always play a major factor in a luck-based games even if you employ a lot of variations from old to new variations and methods
1358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn an apartment in a bear market on: August 08, 2023, 11:33:54 PM
Hi all.
I decided to set myself a goal - to save money for an apartment with the help of cryptocurrency. The cost of the apartment is $130,000.
At the moment there are 6000$ in cryptocurrency
My portfolio consists of BTC,ETH,XRP,SOL,DOT,XLM,ADA

Ready to invest $500 per month.
Advise on the best way to fix profits and what kind of cryptocurrency to buy. Now the markets have fallen - it's time to buy.

Your portfolio is already good and with potential for profit I'm sure you did research on these coins before you included these in your portfolio, you are good to go just don't add trending coins and pump and dump coins that promise quick profit when actually you're going to lose if you are late investing in these trending and pump and dump coins.

If Bitcoin doubles its price you'll have your apartment you just need to be patient and avoid the temptation to buy shitcoins, These shitcoins are deceptive when the bull run is coming.
1359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The funniest coin, ladypepe AIRdrop event on: August 08, 2023, 10:01:55 PM
On their homepage, they already made a disclaimer

Quote
$LPEPE is a meme coin with no intrinsic value or expectation of financial return. There is no formal team or roadmap. the coin is completely useless and for entertainment purposes only.

This is to warn investors that it's not worth investing in their token, this is very rare for a developer to claim that their token is useless, others will shill to high heaven that they are the biggest thing to happen in Cryptocurrency since they already claimed that their token is worthless we don't need to waste our time on this useless token.
1360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Please put your gambling threads in the correct section!!!! on: August 08, 2023, 08:41:08 PM
While we are having this discussion a brand new account just created this topic

Cloudbet verification stuck for more than 1 week

This topic should be in the scam section because its a complaint topic but because its a new account and he is not yet aware that there is a scam section on this forum he chooses to create his complaint here on the gambling board, some complaints or scam accusations created by newbies stay in the gambling board permanently or after the issue was resolved maybe because the moderators did notice it or no one reported those threads
