1881  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Casino in 2023? Share Your Experience! on: September 15, 2023, 12:48:25 PM

Just look for a trusted online casino and try your luck, I like constant fast withdraws and various types of games available.

I like this feature in casino. There is nothing worse than being lucky to win a game and you start having problem in withdrawing your funds out. I understand that if casino have stipulated KYC for withdrawal then you have to know that but if they start disapproving every slightest thing they see, it could be frustrating. So a casino that makes there KYC easier for winners that is encouraging. Some casinos know that you are the owner of an account you have been using to play with them but if you win huge money then they start sniffing for different excuse not to pay you. Is better to avoid those casinos behaving that way.
1882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 5 Gambling Strategies on: September 15, 2023, 11:55:00 AM

3. Go against the public
You won’t always win going against the public. You will make smarter bets in the long run if you always lean towards going against the public.

This is interesting, I have heard of this strategy of gambling also. A friend have said he gambles against what the general people believe to likely be the outcome of the bet and this is especially for soccer bets. To him he feels that some matches are naturally to go against the public opinion so he likes being away from the public opinion and bet on the opposite. He wins some of the games and also lose some like any other bettor.

However, I don't know if I would be betting like that, to go against what I'm convinced to be the outcome of the game. This is purely a trier for me and I won't be comfortable to go that way.
1883  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Four Lucrative businesses you can start in Nigeria on: September 14, 2023, 09:06:07 PM
My brother you don mention some good areas of investment for someone wey just hammer dey find where to put the money as business, me I get one area of business wey you mention and I know go advise someone to go begin do POS business oo. I know say money dey am but the risk also dey very high on to say na direct cash dey involved and not goods wey dem go try resell after them thief am. So na red eyes armed rubbers dey carry come meet POS people oo. There gun no dey always be toy gun, na original gun  Grin

I know say every other business get risk but make POS person dey try hold at least 20k for hand incase those people come, dey can see something carry go because at all at all na that one bad pass. Them dey kill the POS operator wey try hide money from them or tell them say money no dey.
1884  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bet365 Bot on: September 14, 2023, 03:45:15 PM

About the Dice Bot. You are joking with me right? How can a game where the Casino has a superior chance of winning than the client (51% vs 49%) can have a profitable bot?

So why the doubt winning against house when you are using bots for your games. If you have guarantee that your bot work then it should be efficient enough to bet the casino because it should have that capacity above the casino to win most times and that will be a good reason for patronage but if no hope to go above human profitability, then what is the need using a bot?
1885  Economy / Economics / Re: Was just watching the big short. Why do the times suddenly feel similar? on: September 14, 2023, 03:18:35 PM
In 2008, this alternative we have now have not arrived, bitcoin was launched around January 2009 and ever since then the popularity, usage, adaptation and adoption of bitcoin has grown. More people are embracing the financial freedom and hodling their money in bitcoin and transacting likewise, so how do you think the experience is the same thing or would be the same, no it won't. The economy is crashing and probably the wise investors are even innocently contributing to that with DCA and investment in cryptocurrency therefore taking out fiat in circulation. This is possible to also be a reason for such crash, meaning the preparedness is already their and the circumstances won't be the same and the result different also.
1886  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Have you ever been scammed? on: September 14, 2023, 12:30:38 PM
I don't know if I could send so much money outside someone I know for investment and to make matters worst, you sent it twice. This is really unbelievable and your mistake for looking to make quick money.

The lesson here is to reduce our drive to make quick money because if it is too good to be true then you have to be careful. I have not been scammed by investment strategies and I'm not sure if I would send such money except I'm hypnotized.
1887  Economy / Economics / Re: Human Capital, An Intangible Asset for a Company's success. on: September 14, 2023, 12:11:02 PM

Maybe I am the only one who has had this thought, and maybe I am wrong too, but I am of the opinion that the Investment in Human Capital will soon be converted to investment in Artificial Intelligence to take over some of the jobs of workers who make up the workforce in some companies. A lot of Jobs done by humans for a company can now be automated needing lesser staff. Many workers will be cut off. Human resource of companies will take a new face with the inclusion of human supervised machines to work.

Al will not take the place of human capital you know why? Because they are different. Human capital is not necessarily same as workforce or when they say human capital, it doesn't only mean work force even though a means to know efficiency of human capital is either in the workforce or employee (s). So we can talk about human capital even if a company has one workforce. In other words, Al may eat up the work population or labour population but human capital still exist in the remaining staff, after all there is collaboration between employee and AL. More to this is that human capital is more superior than Al because Al is a product of human capital and it takes command from human capital. A more efficient worker is more productive with Al.
1888  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most liquid companies in the gambling industry on: September 14, 2023, 11:45:08 AM
You should lock your another thread in the Off-Topic which have the same title : The most liquid companies in the gambling industry
You are absolutely right! And I tried to delete 1 of the posts, but the forum won't let me do it. So I just left 2 identical posts in different sections. But today I was advised to change the subject and text of one of the posts if I can't delete them. Which I did

If by any means you couldn't delete the post you wanted to and you don't intend it to be read or contributed to like you made two same post, you can edit it and write (delete). This could enable mod to know you want it deleted. I think that will be better instead of leaving it as post because people may still post there. Or you lock that thread on off topic.

To lock the thread, click at the topic and scroll to the buttom left of your gadget and you see lock topic.
1889  Economy / Economics / Re: If the global economy collapses what's the first thing you do? on: September 14, 2023, 10:17:07 AM
Countries of the third world are already feeling the heat and impact of devalued fiat currency especially the less technologically developed ones. Those who have moved ahead of fiat currency and hodling cryptocurrency and bitcoin are feeling less of the heat and this is a sign that a total collapse will lead to hyperinflation on the fiat value, so to hodl bitcoin, DCA on bitcoin for more will help anyone who takes such decision. Hodling fiat is now becoming a wasted idea.
1890  Economy / Economics / Re: Tim Gurner wants Unemployment to increase. Employers have lost their power. on: September 14, 2023, 09:22:34 AM
Unfortunately he can't do anything about the new online job revolution. The thread has already started with the COVID-19 pandemic that was a major factor for it. Gone are those days when sack from a job caused panic but now, the internet is there to embrace such person.

He should not instigate others to follow his myopic sentiment.

But this revolution you are talking about does not apply to everyone. There are still waiters and factory workers whose working conditions are like those of the 20th century. More and more people are able to work online, or at least generate extra income from the internet, and that's a power they didn't have in the 20th century, let alone further back.

To a greater extent I think we are saying the same thing. If I'm not mistaken, you are corroborating my views on the internet revolution on job creation which is witnessed during the COVID-19 work from home sager. So you will be surprised that if such factory workers lose their job or resign from it, they won't find it very difficult to hook up with opportunities online if they are internet compliance or are willing to learn the requirements of using a smart phone or computer/laptop. The internet has given more opportunity of assumption of unemployed people, the internet has driven people into hidden talents they never knew, like different video on YouTube teaching on different life experience, comedy skits, health talks, relationship and marriage etc.
1891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: General Sports News - All Sports on: September 14, 2023, 04:14:39 AM
How do you mean with this thread? Do you think you want to keep updating news items that users already know or they can search on their own....

Seriously do you intend to elicit discussion from this thread? If you do, so do you think the items that you will update daily will be followed up? Well I see more of disorganized thread if you are going to update news items here every single day and expect discussion and contribution.
1892  Economy / Economics / Re: Tim Gurner wants Unemployment to increase. Employers have lost their power. on: September 13, 2023, 09:13:21 PM

He feels that employers have lost their power and that the only way for them to get back their powers over their employees and show to them whose boss is if the unemployment rate increases and people have to literally beg to have their or keep their jobs.

Unfortunately he can't do anything about the new online job revolution. The thread (trend) has already started with the COVID-19 pandemic that was a major factor for it. Gone are those days when sack from a job caused panic but now, the internet is there to embrace such person.

He should not instigate others to follow his myopic sentiment.
1893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia will ban Gambling through credit cards on: September 13, 2023, 05:48:09 PM
My question is If they legislate to ban gambling then what other legislation will they do to establish another recreation for the Australian populace that will have the attributes of gambling but without money. Australia is not part of those countries hitting against gambling.

People have to gamble for different purposes, like relaxation, fun moment to stay out of stress etc and they shouldn't focus on the money they feel are spent on it, moreover it is the individual money and not government money so what is the issue with that?
1894  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most liquid companies in the gambling industry on: September 13, 2023, 05:26:26 PM
For a moment, I'm thinking if op wants users here to invest in such gambling company not known here. First, if that is the case I don't know if gambling corporation are existing to fund casinos or something? I don't know if they are in stock trading and I don't think buying such stock is encouraging, maybe I'm thinking aloud but I don't know the purpose of the post.

Members here are interested in casinos and how to get the best benefit from them.
1895  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: September 13, 2023, 04:41:00 PM
I see quite a few questions about requiring KYC L1 before depositing - this was a conscious choice from our team, we want to have some level of checks before we allow users to send us money as per the regulatory responsibility we have with our license. You can update your L1 KYC if ever you decided you wanted to go further and complete full ID verification with our L2 verification.

This is a good feature and it will encourage players who don't mind playing in a KYC casinos because it will equip them with the knowledge that they will require KYC at the end if at all that they will be able to request for withdrawal, since they are already required to start up a KYC process from the beginning. It is something they could believe that the casino being straight up to KYC has no skeleton at the cupboard to pretend or try to seize winners money. Is like get the knowledge and choose what you want.
1896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How will you feel if it happens to you just like this? on: September 13, 2023, 02:40:38 PM

If it happens to me, I can't stop thinking of it, but definitely one day I will stop thinking about it and see it as history or not yet, my time for big wins just like how it happened to me when I lost a bet

Just like you and likewise other people, such feeling is one that won't go away easily when you miss such opportunity but like every incident and phenomenon that happens, time is the only thing that will heal it.

I have lost some bets maybe twice that wasn't my fault but it happened not to favour me in that bet, I think benfica was in my both bets slip and they lost against my prediction, although not a life changing bet but I felt bad during that time. Yes we are human and missing an opportunity to have your life experience changed for better is really excruciating but time will heal.
1897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much Bitcoin is needed to buy iPhone 15? on: September 13, 2023, 11:15:12 AM
This is amazing to see how bitcoin has been valued over the years. Bitcoin has shown it is better with high rate of inflation and that it is always better as assets and investment. To
This is a huge difference that bitcoin has achieved over the years, to see that at a time iPhone 4s cost 162 BTC, iPhone 5 – 53 BTC
....iPhone 14 – 0.042 BTC and now iPhone 15 – 0.031 BTC. This shows an increase in the value of bitcoin while technology improved.

Of course this is showing that bitcoin has got better standing than fiat because such value in fiat at the price of 162 BTC for iphone 4s would be multiple percentage increase in fiat.

Moreover, this is not particular about iphone but every other in relation to fiat. For example, if you check your wallet on the value of transacted btc, you can understand how much was 0.002 btc in fiat two years ago and how much it is now.
1898  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs are created for unemployment purpose on: September 13, 2023, 09:15:19 AM
Yes the traditional employed people but it could not elevate those workers from the poverty line. They are bank workers but their lives were the same with the peasants. It is only the management team in the banking system that live well and enjoy life. CBDC will remove mass employment from workers because it doesn't have or increase economic growth or value to users. I don't think there any benefit in CBDC.

But bitcoin which is a digital currency has a lot of benefits. Well CBDC can work hand in hand with bitcoin to make itself valuable for people to use frequently.

Government indeed could offer people with jobs and these same people are few in numbes working under a centralized commercial banks while bitcoin in cryptocurrency is providing employability for all and not for some, what the banks are also giving their workere is not up to what they are demanding from them, this is a normal way of reasonings a normal person should have as an approach with what they are offering.

The fact is that CBDC is the selfish agenda of government to work towards the control of the people and that seem as their major objective and not how to better the welfare of people. The blockchain and bitcoin technology put government on toe and they strive not to relinquish the hold they have for control through finance. The goal of CBDC is not different from the effect of AL, bots used in today's economy that has caused the drop of job opportunities. As we know, with cryptocurrency the people have found a survival rate that is higher than the traditional job system.
1899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big capital, small risk or small capital big risk - which is best approach? on: September 12, 2023, 10:03:45 PM
Different people with different approach to gambling. Some prefer committing huge capital to high probability small odds while others prefer using small capital to target big wins. There are many reasons for each of these approaches.

While those that put huge capital win more often, their losses are usually painful. On the other hand, those that commit small capital to make huge wins rare win but when they do, they win big; their losses too are less painful. There are other advantages and disadvantages for both approaches but for the sake of this discussion, let's know which approach you think is better and why?

It depends on the individual but reasonably, it is better to play few games and use capital on it because the chances for one game to be successful is greater than 10 or 20 games to be successful. So instead of playing numerous game at same time, it is better to reduce the games to increase the chances of winning.

And more practically, those who have won repeatedly are those who gamble on few games than those playing too much game on a bet slip especially soccer bet. It is a lesson that fewer games have the chances of winning.
1900  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Easy to say but hard to make it real in the future. on: September 12, 2023, 08:59:11 PM

Not that I don't make profits when I hold, but to hold for that particular price to come to pass is the major challenge to me, can you share your idea on how to make it real in the future for that your target price to come to pass, so that people that are facing the same problem like me will learn.

To make profit on top hodling btc , you go need to hodl a long time and that usually go be for halving circle. Bitcoin dey always bull when halving don happen then after sometime the price go begin appreciate.

Bitcoin matter na wetin concern patients, Dem no dey rush am if you want to get that kind of profit but wetin you go also know be say the thing fit don reach highest (ATH) and you no go know, na so e go begin drop and that one mean say e don dey your hand be that oo.
