In the Brochure you wrote that over time the number of tokens will decrease. How exactly will the number of tokens be reduced? Does this mean that when you pay for the services of your platform with tokens, some of these tokens will burn out? Or will you redeem the tokens and burn the part?

I actually didn't see anything about this, in which part of the brochure is it?

This is written in the brochure on page 21:
Over time the tokens will reduce in number and could increase in price.

There are two possibilities. First, it can get deducted with every transaction. Second, they can buy back with some percentage of profit. Both are positive for investors.
i think someone said they will do it with the transaction fees 20 pages ago
Those are good news because it means that the value of the tokens will raise as the number of tokens decrease.

Yes, less tokens mean bigger value. It would be great for investors.

It should be available for every utility token.
1902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Pre-ICO] Sphere - Decentralized Social Networking >200,000 users on: February 09, 2018, 07:59:24 PM
Greetings to all Sphere Supporters!

We actually have more than 500k users that registered for SAT now.

We are glad to report our progress is growing since we are drawing closer to the ICO.

Some of our users have been inquiring about the status of the Pre-Sale as of late. So we feel obliged to shed some light on these questions.

Starting with statistics about the Sphere App.

So far, we have over 40 thousand users on the App. This generates plenty of activity — so we are pleased to report the following numbers:

There have been 27,326 photos uploaded.
606 videos shared.
384 groups created.

This is a good sign that app users are anticipating our marketplace.
We also now have over 6800 community in our telegram.

Here is some data about the amount of SAT we have distributed thus far:

We have reached our minimum soft-cap as well with over 1.5 million USD raised.

Roughly 70 million SAT, or 11% of our SAT hard cap has been sold in the presale so far.

Please stay tuned for more updates.

I always be happy when i saw a project that i interested reached the soft cap. Keep up the good work! Hard cap isn't that hard to reach.

Hello everyone - Christian here again.

Just a few remarks to the general discussions:

1. CRYPTOFLIX is not going to be an adult movie streaming platform.
2. We are NOT going to be streaming illegal pirated movies and/or TV series.
3. We are indeed aiming at getting the latest movies and TV shows on the platform as soon as possible after their release - the content owners will be interested in accessing the developing countries through a secure streaming platform - also to combat piracy.
4. We are film makers so yes we do have plans to produce content for the platform, but first we want to get the streaming platform and the Film Market Place up and running.
5. There are several reasons why we are blockchain based. The White Paper explains this so please read, however in brief: the unbanked have little access to the global VOD providers hence the need to be able to pay in Crypto.
6. Yes there are competitors in the market - but many are focussed on increasing the quality for "western" users as well as producing more and more own content. Our platform is tailored to meet the demands of both the industry and the users in the developing world.

In my view CRYPTOFLIX can be broken down to: 1) A Paid content streaming platform where it is possible to pay in FLIX (Crypto) Tokens as an alternative to credit cards etc. which the unbanked have no access to 2) A Film Market Place which allows FLIX Token holders to contribute to PROFESSIONAL film projects in different stages and levels of the film industry - each of which will generate a risk dependent return and 3) A Free content educational film and TV streaming platform to educate freely across borders.

All of the above elements are solid projects and we have some ways to expand further with the inclusion of an ebook distribution platform (both paid and free), a film/tv production company and an anti-pirate tech software solution to be licensed.

Please remember to sign up for the early pre-sale alert on our web page www.cryptoflix.io.

Didn't know you were also doing your own content. Now it brings the project to the next level.

good to see that REPU has started the Closed Round. Hope we will see soon a platform for testing the reputation management.

I think it would be nice if they can put a progress bar / data about how much funds have been raised so far. Smiley

Yep, also it would be nice to see some more news about REPU here. Some achievements etc. maybe footage of the project would be great.
That's a great idea! the counter is a good thing! It shows the real situation in the project!

It can be seen from contract address and it is not that high right now. I think they should focus on marketing and announcing this partnership.

Ok!
Those who give me merits will PM the pictures and video ))

I am sorry but why do you need the merits for? You said this account was made just for the purpose of maintaining this project, right? That's why we accepted words from a newbie, btw. Now you are enticing us with videos for merits. not inspiring confidence, mate.

WELL
1. that was a joke
2. I need member rank to be able to share pictures that you ask
3. have you checked my posts? was at last one of them related to something else?

4. I might be Newbie on Bitcointalk, but Legendary in my life ))
5. Sorry if I didn't inspire you, I am really doing my best to assist all of you and you, and only once asked something small in return and you tell that I am not inspiring.
Not cool Mate . . .

Hahaha I get that you were joking. You're just 18 posts away from ranking up to member anyway . But you can post images now that you are jr.member

Also you can buy copper member status, it wasn't that expensive. You can share pictures with even newbie account.

i think the project is legit and extremely ambitious, i'm not however sure if it can be done without involving some huge investors imo
the project will be successful in my opinion with big investments and some prestigious partnerships
It looks that they are going to have some help from the goverment.

I also remember reading on this thread that they already have some private investors guaranteed.

The land is given them by government for free i guess, i remember sth. like that. and they will be some tax incentives for the company in upcoming years.

Yes, you are remembering it right. They are getting that land for free. Also, they will re-invest their %80 of the profit for not paying the taxes.

1910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread on: February 07, 2018, 03:15:30 PM
I made an inspection about pools and making a post about them:

Signing up mandatory pools:

Currently, only pool asks for signing up is the Animal pool. Voters share the all pool income. https://semux.info/pool
They are taking %25 for a fee.

Anonymous pools:

General 01-02-03-04 they are all individual pools and the fee they are taking %20 (%18 for themselves %2 donate to the developer of the pool manager.)
Semuxpool_com and Semuxpool_com2 are taking %20
Mddsemuxpool - Mddsemuxpool2 are taking %20
Semux_pool_party are taking %8
100_tokenpar_com is currently only giving %0.5 to semux dev and share the rest of it.
Pool_borderline is taking %6.3 (%6 for himself, %0.3 for the developer of the pool)
lvl3pool is taking %6
Tent is taking %5
Tiger is taking %5
Dragon is taking %5
Phash is taking %2.5 (%2 for himself, %0.5 for the devs)

Tent, tiger and dragon pools owner is the same person.

Pools unknown:

cn_pool i think it is Chinese and requirements are unknown.
There is not any information about.

I think even with the 1000 delegator fee, above %15 is too much and I'm not voting for them. Probably they will take lower fees when they get 1000 back but still, it is high.

When voting put this %'s into consideration.

If a pool has 30.000 votes but takes %25 as a fee means it has 40.000 votes. So even 39.000 votes pool with %0 fees would be better.

Ps: If anyone has some information about cn_pool please let me know and I can edit the post. I tried to find out their fee from the share they give out but couldn't be sure.

Added phash to list. It is already a validator by the way.

So where is the new roadmap which supposed to announce at the end of January?
1912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ✅🚀[ANN] [ICO] KEPLER - Next Generation Blockchain Platform For AI & Robotics🚀 on: February 05, 2018, 06:22:47 PM
This sounds surely a great project.
However, does it sound realistic when the world accepts AI at all? It is in North America, Europe, and Eastern Asia but surely not the rest of the world....
But it still is a good project.
Worth a try.

North America, Europe, and Eastern Asia is the biggest part of the world economy.

Ideally, it would be best to use every country out there but even this areas you mentioned would be enough.

I saw there was a pre-sale back then. How much did it raise with that?

Also, i am just aware of bountyhive which is looking like great. The idea is great also visual is great. Thanks for it. I will definitely spend some of my time on there, and invite some people too.
1914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: February 05, 2018, 05:12:39 PM
still a very interesting project, but this is going to be one hell of a long term hodling and due to the recent price drop of the cryptomarket, will be hard to invest.

If you expect a year-long bear market and have some excess cash it would make sense to invest. You shouldn't expect a quick return though.

this is one of those projects where you have to wait for a long time to actually get a good return. it's not unusual in the crypto space by any means.

It is more realistic i think.

Some projects offering %200 roi in a year. A good project needs time to return your investment. Also, it is a first for crypto i think so it is a new subject for all of us.

Judging by the current situation, every token/coin is suddenly a long term investment since most people wont be selling with a loss and will wait as long as they need to get profit from ICOs.
No one can predict, when and if things will go back to "normal".

We don't know what is normal and what is not.

Maybe we were in a bubble and everything is returning normal (i don't believe this maybe) or maybe we are making a strong correction and it will reach 100k before 2019 start (this is more likely in my opinion)

But the thing is, if you bought bitcoin in last two months, you are a long term investor now.

CRYPTOFLIX BOUNTY CAMPAIGN IS LIVE!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2882525

Damn, it doesn't allow any non-english articles which I was aiming for.

Still, it would probably bring more attention to the project.

Or is there any timetable when we can hear the news about it?
1917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ✅🚀[ANN] [ICO] KEPLER - Next Generation Blockchain Platform For AI & Robotics🚀 on: February 05, 2018, 04:14:41 PM
The fact that Facebook has banned advertising crypto currency - this will only make it worse for the facebook itself. I also heard that Medium blocks articles about crypto-currencies. But there is Twitter, where there are a lot more users. Now there is a planned pressure on crypto-currencies. Every day a stream of negative news, some speculation, rumors. Obviously this is all planned and done intentionally. And, interestingly, on the weekend the flow of fud is suspended, it's just ridiculous.
As for the bonuses in the form of a trip to Georgia for three lucky ones - this is a great idea. So the community representatives will be able to communicate with the developers and see the team and their developments with their own eyes. This increases the credibility of the project team.
I was in Georgia, very long time ago. This is a wonderful place.

I don't think medium is blocking articles in cryptocurrency, lots of people in this cryptoworld writes articles about the cryptos and I am sure medium is getting lots of traffic from these articles, I'll look into that.

A bonus trip to Georgia is wonderful idea, but lets keep that limited because investors don't want their investments go to some exaggerated marketing stunts.

Unfortunately, they block the articles. Not yet massively, but the fact itself is there. Here from the local section there is a thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2864276.0

The ban on facebook in my opinion does not really matter, because there the percentage of the target audience, which is sent information about crypto-currencies, probably the same as in instagram. By the way, maybe Zuckerberg deliberately does this to annoy the brothers-oarsmen. Grin
As for facebook, then his era is gone forever. Ahead is only the slow dying of this social network. Now the era of Telegram.

Medium can block crypto and here we have steemit which is better.

Facebook can block also, currently, we don't have a similar media like facebook but we may have. There are some projects about social media which can be successful.

Facebook is old by the way, people are running away from it. It would be nice at least if stupid facebook bounties over with it. Facebook/twitter bounties are just wasted money i think.

Whoaaaaa, wait.....Netflix with Blockchain backup? COUNT. ME. IN!

It is not really. The name is similar and making people think it is netflix with crypto but they are targeting way different things than netflix.

Still, i can count netflix as a competitor.
