1921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Big Idea.. a compromise more info on: March 26, 2015, 05:02:51 AM
Ok a rather interesting idea,

So this would be a POW only Coin then? or POS type?

It seems a bit over complicated and may be likely to stall out due to lack of interest, most users just go along for the ride but would probably never vote and unless given enough time they may not update and feel leftout/cheated as the ones with the voting power may do it just for greed. I remember some Coin a while back that has some kind of Proof of Vote but the main developer didn't mention it at all until he was able to just vote everyone else out and for the Blockchain.

Fantastic! I will be sure to partner up with some good CEO's because they need the community and their experience as well Smiley
1923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 10k Coin | HARD FORK TO SLOW DOWN INFLATION | UPDATE IMMEDIATELY on: March 26, 2015, 04:38:35 AM
10k needs Litecoin and Dogecoin markets, you should advertise the markets on C-Cex or other multi-Crypto exchanges.

I prefer the old logo to the one with the sword and shield, maybe you should go after the experiment angle with the new logo.

Your going to have to figure out what you will do once the float hits 1 trillion+ by then there will be so many Coins that 10k will be too big for the BTC market that there will be a huge sell wall at 1 Satoshi like a wait list, orders sitting on orders until they are filled by buys.

1924  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN]|Bitcoin Faucet|FaucetEmporium - Getting Crypto Into The Hands Of More People on: March 26, 2015, 03:40:51 AM
Fantastic, when do you suppose you will begin to accept other Coins other than BitCoin?
1925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MULTIWALLET/Trusted-Cryptos group/Multiple Coin Support/MultiShift/Fiat Trading on: March 26, 2015, 03:14:54 AM
General Announcement: within a few days we will stop using this thread. a new thread will be created for all TC coins and a link will be posted at the bottom of this thread to tell you what the new thread is and why we are doing it.

thank you
-griffith

I think this is a good idea, you'll get more exposure with all the posting combined into one thread.

I don't hold any MWC anymore but I still follow you guys and try to give some feedback Smiley

this is mostly due to moderating issues. also its easier for me to just post stuff once

Moderating issues? What is there to moderate? I haven't really seen any negative stuff or things getting deleted. BTW, if you need there are auto-moderation programs out there and you could just add people to a ban list and their posts get removed automatically.
1926  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 26, 2015, 02:59:19 AM
Fantastic, this should get interesting. They do know that to attack people trolling is exactly the wrong thing to do right? I've been a part of forums and online games for years and I can tell you from experience that if they start making a ton of accounts here and start attacking people, it will only hurt themselves. All it would do is piss off more people and cause more drama and crash the price even more but hey don't take my word for it, it's not like I've been spot on about my assessments or anything...

So what was this thing about the hacking of the PayCoin forums? How much did they lose? was it a foundation wallet or individuals that were hacked?

Why is someone else posting on the MrCEO account?

Why are the PayBase withdrawals still suspended yet certain people have been allowed to withdraw Coins?

wallet.paycoin.com is an online wallet, which was touted to be the better alternative to Paybase et al. And completely separate from GAW. Damn hackers attacked it and dumped stolen coins on Cryptsy causing the price drop and necessitating MrCEO's pump later in the day. But it was only a "slight" breach and only "a very small number" of accounts were affected. If you're thinking "this doesn't add up" - I can't help you with that Smiley

https://hashtalk.org/topic/34947

Yeah, if it was breached then how come only a small portion was taken?

The first thing that comes to mind is that it wasn't a breach but an excuse to dump some Premine/Stake Coins and just say it was hackers that did it but I have no evidence to back up that claim. How would people be able to refute whether it was a hacker or not? They could easily login from somewhere else, just withdraw some Coins, dump them and claim it was a hacker. What was this about the Staking bug they said was as a result? I thought the Staking bug was just the Hyper-Inflation thing or is it more bugs beyond the Hyper-Inflation and the Blockchain download problems? I mean with all these Coins being dumped and the people they have, they should be able to come to the community and ask for assistance and pay some qualified developers, those few things are really about an hours work but I guess they are too busy thinking about how to fight the trolls rather than working on the stuff that would placate the negativity.

Just a little FYI, it's much better to have people who can do code work and provide constructive criticism rather than people that just say "great job!". If I were to estimate the value in the two types, I'd say someone that can help provide improvements are worth 100 Great Jobbers.

HYP the only true Crypto coin.

I believe we are coming up on a one year anniversary fairly soon.

Really great Coin, Presstab and Tranz are two of the best Proof of Stake coders in the community. I've gone through code of nearly 1000 Coins by now and noticed that there are a number of them who have had help from Tranz for continued development. Presstab and Tranz are of the few that have introduced features and improvements beyond just cloning of code, Presstab was the first to introduce a subsidy limit, a large range of Stake functions and Litestake, and I'm quite surprised that other Coins haven't introduced the HoboNickels multi-wallet function but maybe that is a bit too complex for people to clone.

Anyways, I just wanted to help out a little bit to get a few more people interested in something with great people behind it, keep up the awesome work guys Smiley
1930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CON] PayCon POS Only - Mandatory/Feature Update - Get your CON on!!! on: March 26, 2015, 01:38:49 AM

We've also got hot swappable theme's now...

It works fine... Smiley

Probably this weekend when I finish the Theme DarkWallet, I can publish or send you the stylesheet.

Fantastic, I think the only change I could think of with both themes is to use colored text for the Statistics etc. otherwise it's hard to read Black on Black.

I just wanted to give a huge shout out to Presstab and Zeewolf for helping me with a little bit of code work for PayCon and allowing me to use their swappable themes.

If you don't know about HyperStake then you should get interested in it, it has a lot of active developers and it has some of the most advanced code in the industry. This is a top 5 Cryptocurrency, there are many Coins out there but very few have such good code AND awesome developers!

ZeeWolf is from HyperStake, but the theme blackwood i gave you is from fluttercoins themes.

My bad, thank you so much for your help
1933  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 25, 2015, 10:36:09 AM
Paycoin down to 38 cents now, suspect it's due to the front page coverage from digg.com

Wow its dumping again.  Looking for 0.0015 soon
Yep, 14628 sold in the past hour vs shy of 7000 bought.  Ganza trying to get out while he can at least get a couple quarters for his coins

Once it breaks 0.0018 it will quickly head down to 0.001 as there are no walls between there, people are getting frustrated with their Coins being held against their will. The longer PayBase is locked, the worse it becomes for price, if Josh keeps it shut there is less of a sell-off from Coins in circulation but people will continue to sell because of the restriction and lack of trust. He has to open PayBase withdrawals at some point else people will take legal action against him but if he opens it now, those 200k XPY flooding the market would easily cut the price in half.

Think this is FUD? No my boys, this is math and a lose/lose situation.

And it broke straight through 0.0018 with the only walls that will be looking to hold in the neighborhood of 0.0011 - 0.0013

People getting more angry and price dropping, the Hashstaker payouts would have dropped the price anyways so it would have been better to....

shh...let it happen

Except that I think CoinStand was supposed to be there to prop the price up for the release of the hashstakers to combat the drop except it turned out to be a flop so maybe Josh thought it was a good idea to hold onto them? or maybe it was supposed to be where he could sell into it to create some larger walls at a lower price and stave some of the sell off.

Either way I except all the FUD to get louder and the price to keep dropping until PayBase starts allowing withdrawls, maybe Josh would let it out little by little to try to stave off the fall but if it's just opened and the floodgates are released it's going to crash the price.

Does this mean this is this the end? Price is already at the tipping point for long-term holders to consider it a complete loss.

In my mind there is nothing that can save their rep now, no Coinstand or rocket ship that can save the negative reputation they have built, no one wants to try to catch a falling knife and unlikely to get future investors with such bad press. They complain that people have trolled it to death and they are right that a lot of people have a lot of time on their hands and a lot of opinion but all the people can't be wrong all the time.

I saw this quite early on in Crypto about reputation...

If everything was done in an honest way then anything uncovered (email and private messages etc.) would only serve to prove that something wasn't a scam and the same people involved would also defend that person with undeniable proof to counter the claims.
1934  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 25, 2015, 09:19:05 AM
I wonder how much BTC it would actually take to buy and dump at a lower price to finally put this poopcoin out of its misery... I am feeling rather philanthropic today...

Scott-

It would take about 20 BTC I would estimate to do something like that where you'd put buy orders for them to sell into and then immediately dump at a loss but then you'd also be spending a fair amount of BTC.
Well, sometimes, it's not about the $$ or BTC... it's about doing what needs to be done.

Scott-

When do you think Koinyx will be ready?

New wallet looks great.  Smiley Can't wait to check it out, I've been so busy. Is the next wallet going to replicate Crestington's "real world" wallet?

 Grin

ooh, that could be the new splash screen Smiley
1936  Economy / Services / Re: Multipool Service 10$ a month! [UPDATE] on: March 25, 2015, 09:05:29 AM
Quick question to you all

Are you hoping to mine your coin and get paid in your coin ?
Or have I missed something

Yes, have the ability to mine POS only Coins through POW.

technical skills of 1 team xpy/mod/innovator  Roll Eyes
i dont want to bash him anymore personally because he seems like a normal person

read carefully and see that Team Paycoin confirmed that you cannot share blockchain

Well since PayCon has no issues with it's Blockchain downloads and Stakes like a beast, we've decided to jazz up the wallet a bit with some theme's Wink

We've got hot swappable wallet theme's coming courtesy of the FlutterCoin Team and a huge help from Presstab developer of HyperStake.

Nice.

In recent days, I also experimented something for a DarkWallet...

That looks fantastic!!
