1921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Important Points to Learn from Your Worst Sports Betting Losses! on: June 20, 2023, 01:30:02 PM

Analyze your losses objectively: Take the time to go over your worst losses with a clear and objective mind. Determine the elements that contributed to the losses, such as poor decision-making, emotional reactions, or a lack of research.

Accept responsibility for your losses: It is critical to accept responsibility for your betting losses. Blaming outside influences or luck will keep you from learning key lessons and enhancing your future betting strategy.

These two are not easy for me, whenever I suffer a loss it takes time for me to recover and get hold of myself, and analyze my losses it's hard to be objective especially if you lose because of an unexpected event like upsets, I can accept responsibility on my losses that's how gambling is, you win some and you could lose more.

In sports betting you can't ever be perfect you can be consistent and there will always be pitfalls the most important thing is the ability to move on, at the soonest possible time.
1922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to be blamed, the gambler or the betting agent on: June 20, 2023, 11:32:54 AM

So when I wanted to judge the case and possible settlement,  I query the casino agent how can you allow a customer to gamble on credit to the tune of 8k Knowing fully well that the gambler only has a 1k balance which already existed?
He's not a good casino agent, it's okay to give loans it happens in physical casinos but they lend to high rollers, not to common workers its abuse when you force a worker to pay the loan to you when he cannot provide for his family

Quote
Also what is the probability that the gambler will ever return after owning such debt in the betting shops,  note the gambler's daily pay is 2k as a helper on the site,  so he has to work for 4 days to be able to meet that debt that is if he doesn't make any other expenses.

Not good, the worker will have his family on top of his priority and whatever is left that's what he will pay for the casino agent, as a rule of thumb you never give a loan to someone who can afford to gamble, which he can't afford to lose.

Quote
Question is:

What is the possibility of the betting agent getting his money soon/considering the gambler's low-income earnings?

It may take weeks even if you take it in a small claim court the welfare of the lender is still in consideration because you cannot take everything from a debtor to the point he has nothing left even for food.
1923  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: June 20, 2023, 10:18:37 AM
Congratulations to BC.Game for launching their signature campaign it's a good decision to launch your signature campaign here in Bitcointalk, there are already hundreds of casino announcements here in Bitcointalk and the easiest way to get notice and to have a recall on the name of the casino is by launching a signature campaign.
I hope this campaign will last it will benefit members and BC.GAME as well.
1924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Join Pi Network and be a part of the crypto revolution on: June 19, 2023, 11:55:35 PM
I would like to know if you are a member of the Project? If so please help me sell the tokens received from the app.

Can't you see he has an affiliate code on his post so he is not a member of the project just a user who wants to make an additional shit Pi token, you have to do full KYC to unlock your token, they are not true to their promise, they started this 2018 but until now, the token is still not in the market the one that is on the market is a fake one, this is a highly speculative token and with no use case this is doom to fail.
Their members are being fooled for a long time.
1925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I created my token and launched it on launchpad, but I don't have money for adve on: June 19, 2023, 11:25:40 PM
I created my token and launched it on launchpad, but I don't have money for advertising am I doomed to failure?

If it's a shitcoin yes your project is doomed to failure, shitcoins thrive on massive marketing and shilling if you don't have money for marketing don't add another shit token in the community

Quote
I'm trying everything Twiiter, Tiktok, Kwaii and telegran. I'm even calling people in private and that way I got 20 dollars so far...
Do you have any tips or is it better to just give up and let it go?
Just let it go, these people who you contact find your project a shit coin if it's an interesting project they would have poured their support and will market it for free and invest in it

Quote
Thanks in advance for the help
If you are not going to continue then we'll thank you for doing that, we don't need shitcoins anymore.
1926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon creating the AMZ Token, finally digital marketplace and nfts coming up? on: June 19, 2023, 10:45:17 PM
I think this is a good read https://cointelegraphfeed.com/?06-19-amazon-creating-token-june-23
Whether you like that project or not but it should boost all the coins, I can already see some market shifting. We had a lot of rumors but now they finally pull it, what ya think?
It's not a good read for me its looks like you are shilling this token this is a fake token that claims to come out from Amazon

And if you're looking for a reliable news site you don't get it from newly created sites, these are created to promote scam projects for money, get it from a trusted source like Cointelegram.

1927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oleksandr Usyk VS Daniel Dubois For The Undisputed heavyweight champion on: June 19, 2023, 10:02:10 PM

While we can agree that Usyk indeed can defeat Dubios, the opposite can also happen. It's more possible to happen to me.
19 fights and 18 by KO is a scary record for a heavyweight.  Usyk will not be surprised if he is gonna be knockout by Dubios, just look at how solid young man he is compared to the old Usyk.
Usyk is more solid to me undefeated and with two wins against the former undisputed champion, Dubois is good but lacks the skill and ring generalship of Usyk not to mention Usyk will be fighting in front of his fan that's additional motivation for Usyk and Dubois should prepare for the hostile crowd, we've seen Dubois have a hard time with his opponents jab because of lack of defense.

Quote
Strange choice of place, they could just agree on Wembley Stadium? There must be a story behind this decision.
As a champion, he has the option to fight in his hometown but because it's not possible Poland is the best choice, Usyk will just give his challenger a favor if the fight is held in Wembley Stadium.
1928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Housebets.io locked several accounts myself included and disabled withdraws on: June 19, 2023, 09:29:14 PM
I've done this and thank you. Should I delete this?

You cannot delete your own thread you can only lock it and you can upload your images it will only show links because of your status but I'm sure higher rank members will quote your post for the images to show many of us are not aware of this casino because the announcement is not active anymore but this will warn newbies on the status of that casino.
1929  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM - Boomchange.com / Boomchange.io - Fake Crypto Exchanges on: June 19, 2023, 02:34:29 PM
It’s legit and normal working platform. I have been using this website more than a year and I don’t understand why there were posted misleading reports. You can use boomchange free and its legit well working swapping service

So are you and Jerayer part of that exchange team and both of you are paid to shill and give fake reviews on this exchange, this is your first post and you openly defended it, and so is Jerayer both of you sign up here just to shill Boomchange.com

If you're really a client just be a client a real client is open-minded because when it comes to exchange we can never be sure of its status, especially for a new exchange like Boomchange.com
1930  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Double-digit monthly returns w/ audited records on: June 19, 2023, 10:53:45 AM

For such threads, a "fun and leisure" section should be created.

I support that we have a new section for this kind of topic, they make it looks easy to just post a scheme like this as if they are professional and they can just ask people $250k for their scheme without showing anything.
I warn people not to contact this kind of people if they are good at what they posted here even though it's obviously a dubious scheme, what more if you are chatting one-on-one they will even show you fake credentials and documents.
1931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How the casino takes money from you with a deposit bonus on: June 19, 2023, 09:27:33 AM
I agree it's deceptive and yet it's still the popular way to invite gamblers to try their games, I seldom participate in deposit bonuses, because of the requirements, I prefer to deposit with no attachment of unusually high wagering requirements.
Only good if you want to try the platform without thinking of any profit and just want to play be entertained and let whatever happens,  happen, I am more comfortable with that.
1932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Friendly Match is Hard to Predict on: June 19, 2023, 04:00:58 AM
Friendly matches are always difficult to predict. they sometimes don't play seriously, or some players are on vacation and aren't in the squad.
I usually don't bet on friendly matches, but yesterday when Indonesia faced Palestine, I bet on a draw. and I won the bet. because I know this is difficult so I bet with the smallest bet.

In another friendly match, Indonesia will face Argentina. would you bet on a draw? Argentina is a World Cup champion. I wouldn't think they would draw against Indonesia.

I never bet in friendly or exhibition matches because both teams and fighters are not showing their true strength, in fact, they are holding back, the team never put their strongest player for fear of injury and also for the other team not to see their real play when they are playing against them, same thing with individual games like exhibition boxing they do not throw their biggest punches because the pay is not huge compared when it's a real match.
1933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: June 18, 2023, 11:59:14 PM

But we don't know if Diaz' camp is just saying that he's having hard time, we don't know if this is just their strategy.
I hope its a strategy so Jake will come soft against Nate, but one thing I'm sure of is there will be a lot of blood here because Nate is very prone to cut I have not seen him fight without a cut, his face is always full of blood if he gets cut in the early rounds he'll be in trouble, Jake is so good at exploiting his opponent's weak spot.
Two things will happen here Jake will knock out Nate or the referee will stop the fight due to Nate's bad cut.
1934  Economy / Economics / Re: I thought there was an egg shortage. on: June 18, 2023, 11:44:03 PM
I thought there was a global panic over egg supplies. Not so long ago they were rationing sales. This morning I bought some boxes of 6 big and fresh eggs for just 21 pence. The normal price is £1.40. It just shows how food prices and distribution is being manipulated to rip us off. That is if we aren't aware and exploiting the situation for our own benefit. The eggs were on sale at a m ajor Asda supermarket in Hampshire, England.

That's not the case here in our country I'm glad that it's not, I consumed 5 eggs daily, and it cost the equivalent of $5 per tray, there's an increase of 2%, and during holiday seasons our government is controlling the price of eggs its consider a prime food commodity but the poultry industry sometimes suffer from disease like Avian Influenza which causes shortage which makes the price increase.

There's always the manipulation of the price of food like rice, chicken, and meat and vegetables because there are always greedy businessmen who will manipulate the supply to increase the price.
1935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 18, 2023, 10:50:32 PM

Bankroll size and management is the greatest weapon if you want to stay in gambling longer but there’s really no guarantee to have a consistent profit as source of income since you already said that bad luck always come. At some point. These professionals will encounter it and bust them even after their long winning streak.

It's the worst that can happen to any gambler we gamblers want to avoid this, and we can only do this if we know when to quit and how to quit, this is where chasing our losses mentality starts when we are already winning and we get busted.

Bad luck and house edge contribute to this we know this from the start but dopamine keeps us playing we always want to keep up when dopamine is at its highest whether we are winning or losing.
1936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: June 18, 2023, 09:49:19 PM

In short, this is fight will belong to Jake Paul and that's without a doubt. It's not that I'm underestimating Nate but it's just hard to vote and bet towards him knowing that he will fight Jake inside the ring where he's not that experienced, he can make a difference in the first few rounds though because in those rounds, he is still fresh and strong but in the longer rounds, Jake will punish him and might KO him too.
There are reports coming from one of Nate's trainers that he is having a hard time with his stamina and this is going to be a big problem, compared to MMA where fighters can wrestle especially if the match is on the mat, it's not possible in boxing you have to phase yourself well, and Jake is so good at phasing himself, he goes to the body at the opening rounds invest a lot in jabs and do counter punches to save energy and hurt his opponent.
I know Jake can and will beat Nate I'm just worried it's not as bad as what he did with Woodley, well we just hope.
1937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you find it offensive to be referred to as an addicted gambler? on: June 18, 2023, 09:12:34 PM
Many people find it difficult to accept who they are and the bad habits that they have, accepting a habit is the first step that will determine if any help offered to you will work. As a gambler, will you find it offensive if you are referred to as a gambling addict? will you easily accept it or try to give excuses like some other people do, saying that they are not addicted to gambling when the signs are clearly there. Do you think identifying as an addicted gambler will make people stereotype you. The answer is different for every gambler here.
When it comes to gambling I know myself more than other people so there's no problem at all if people think I am addicted to gambling as long I know that I'm not chasing losses, not taking a loan to gamble, and not spending the whole day or night playing in casinos.

People will never know if you will not tell them how you play or gamble they are left to themselves guessing if you are really are addicted to gambling, you know people they tend to create misinformation about other people.

Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ?

You can do it if you are dedicated to it and you live a simple life, you need to have a goal and a dedication to reach that goal, this is easy to do if you are single and have a good job, and raised by your parents living a simple life.

But if you have a family although it is possible it's hard to save one-third of your salary, your family comes first than savings, here in our country where the minimum wage cannot keep up with the cost of living, it's hard for a family man to save one-third of his salary unless both husband wives are working.

1939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you invest in a project that might take years to outshine the market?? on: June 18, 2023, 12:15:25 PM
You are right in saying that in the cryptocurrency market everyone is trying to get quick profits, and many end up losing money and becoming disillusioned with cryptocurrency. I also agree with you that a good project needs development, which sometimes takes more than a year or two. But there is a paradox here. While one project is developing and making a product, several other projects may appear in its place. In the crypto world, projects don't live long; technologies become obsolete very quickly and something new is constantly emerging. There is a lot of competition.

That is why we need to follow projects that we've invested we need to check if they are following their roadmap or intentionally delaying it, and check the kind of characters the developers have, if they do not update the community, you have something to worry especially if the projects come from crowdfunding, you should be quick in your observation and do not have an attachment to projects so you can quickly dump.
The worse thing is being late to dump and you are left with bags of useless tokens.
1940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think topics/discussion on gambling addictions is too much on: June 18, 2023, 06:54:12 AM

How sure are we that those creating such multiple threads won't continue to create new threads even though there is a dedicated thread for such discussions?

I recommend that topics about gambling addiction be locked after 60 responses or less so there will be less spam and the reply will not be redundant when it hit 60, we request OP to lock the thread but we should agree, and those who like to open topics about gambling addiction or we request that it be locked after 60 responds.
So the topic will not run for weeks.
