1941  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining ASICs Technologies Promises 6TH/s Bitcoin Miner And 200 MH/s Scrypt Miner on: June 06, 2014, 04:50:15 AM
10 grand for 6 TH/s: https://www.mining-asics-technologies.com/product/titanium-2-asic-bitcoin-miner-6-ths-super-low-power/

or

5 grand for 6 TH/s: http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/products/sp30-yukon-september-batch-1

I think the choice is clear.
1942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 06, 2014, 03:56:30 AM
People are still mad about the KFC 5PH farm?

Of course. They promised they wouldn't build it.
1943  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Is Novello Technologies a scam? on: June 06, 2014, 02:07:20 AM
So.. take this as a +1 that i don't think Novello is a scam.  And that i think the guy is genuine.  And that i believe their tech is possible.

But none of that matters. The only thing that matters is whether the team has the skills and capacities to actually see this project to completion on time with the right specs. I've seen nothing to indicate that to be true. Just the opposite. The lack of details concerning who this "dream team" is is a huge red flag. It's 99% likely they will fail and keep all the money for themselves.
1944  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: June 05, 2014, 09:22:50 PM
That's true. I'll only add that David did say, as quoted here, that there would be an update late tonight early tomorrow.

Perhaps they're working out the details of new compensation. Perhaps they're all busy boxing miners. I don't know their reasoning and don't want to speculate beyond that. We'll see.

It better be one hell of an update.
1945  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: June 05, 2014, 08:00:16 PM
Its a shitty hand we all got dealt, not just you. You feel that you have lost 6k, we feel that we have lost about 600k, maybe more than that.

So why haven't you filed a lawsuit?

Against?

IMET, since they ripped you off and stole your parts.
1946  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Is Novello Technologies a scam? on: June 05, 2014, 07:59:03 PM
I've been in the mining world long enough. I mostly agree with you about this company, by the way. The only thing that has me still interested in watching this unfold is the calm way that the OP continues to answer the questions. Usually at this point they'd just be mad at why the forum is not accepting them with open arms and they would be posting wildly and irrationally trying to defend themselves.

Why would they be upset? Their scam is working out quite well. So far they've snagged $4,539 simply by posting a few paragraphs of text. Man, if I could make $4k in a couple days I'd be pretty happy too!

1948  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Kit, sales price changes daily, now $2247 per Kit on: June 05, 2014, 05:07:03 PM
I did it without discounts to make it an even playing field (though I did forget shipping sorry, last one I bought had free shipping). There are very few vouchers available for the S2 and it's possible to get a discount on the SP10, but ok lets work it out that way with disounts/vouchers

S2:  $1959, 1000GH, $1.95 per GH
SP10: $2620, 1400GH, $1.87 Per GH

Lower w/GH also increases the lifespan of the product.

Both Bitmain and Spondoolies have good products with competitive prices. Lifespan on either one will be much longer than they will be profitable.
1949  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Novello Technologies new Mining System Project, prices as low as $0.3/GH on: June 05, 2014, 04:58:25 PM
These are ones selected by their companies for various reasons, or those on public registers. IBM will not tell you about every individual they employ.

Then let's look at some mining companies that have actually shipped miners (even if they've had some difficulties).

You: Nothing but bullshit. Why? Because you don't have what it takes to complete this "project".
1950  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: June 05, 2014, 04:19:35 PM
I may have said the 10th, but according to others it's mid-month or the 16th. But even so, why is AMT waiting, why not just call the lawyer and spill the beans on what they are going to do for us now? I live in North NJ, about an hour and 15 from IMET. I am sure IMET is not just going to give me some free parts.

Call IMET and ask to buy some boards for cost. IMET might love to get some money out of this disaster.
1951  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Novello Technologies new Mining System Project, prices as low as $0.3/GH on: June 05, 2014, 02:43:35 PM
Bottom line, you do not have the skill to complete this project. This project will never succeed.
1952  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: June 05, 2014, 12:08:52 AM
Bobsag, can you comment as to whether your X-1 arrived and is working properly? Some more pictures and video would be appreciated.

Has not arrived yet, given the holiday in China im not expecting it till tomorrow/wednesday.

How about now?
1953  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Novello Technologies new Mining System Project, prices as low as $0.3/GH on: June 05, 2014, 12:00:25 AM
There is nothing anonymous about the company or it's director.

Then prove it. Prove you have the skills necessary to design and implement an actual miner. Most other teams, with far more experience than you, have tried and failed. What ASICs have you designed that are larger and more power hungry than a bitcoin ASIC? Exactly what part of the design did you do? What PCBs that deliver hundreds of amps have you designed?
1954  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Novello Technologies new Mining System Project, prices as low as $0.3/GH on: June 04, 2014, 08:34:41 PM
We've answered this already. If you don't like what you read, then don't buy from us, simple as that.

By the way, how long have you been working for Spondoolies?

You want people to give you millions of dollars, yet you want to remain anonymous. You'll never reach your funding level on Indigogo. But good for you, you selected the "Flexible Funding" option, so that you get all the money no matter what. The perfect scam.

Public Service Announcement

This "company" will fail. They do not have the funding, nor the expertise, to make it to a final product. Invest only what money you want to lose. They will never deliver a miner.
1955  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Novello Technologies new Mining System Project, prices as low as $0.3/GH on: June 04, 2014, 08:14:54 PM
We have nothing to hide

Then come clean. Who the hell are you?

This is what a real company with real people looks like:

1956  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Novello Technologies new Mining System Project, prices as low as $0.3/GH on: June 04, 2014, 05:25:32 PM
In our case, the Director is Olivia Walker who is a marketing professional. My name is John Fowler, I am the company’s Technical Manager and primary contact point for this forum.

Nice generic names. So who are you, really? Facebook, LinkedIn, anything? Are you an EVP of Oracle? Are you a dead heavy metal drummer? Are you a basketball player?
1957  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Novello Technologies new Mining System Project, prices as low as $0.3/GH on: June 04, 2014, 02:50:08 PM
If you'd read the text then you would have clearly seen two names mentioned. You can also see the Indiegogo page and who's leading the project, so I suspect you may ave simply skimmed over it.
.
Now, if you really think that we're going to present detailed CV's to a poster on a forum that hides behind a username, then that's simply not going to happen, If you want an engineering or financial discussion, then we'll gladly have one.

Beat this or go home:

1958  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: June 03, 2014, 02:04:12 AM
The part where plaintiff's counsel has directly threatened to file a motion in order to stop all of our business operations all together unless we settle with all clients via their class action suite. That's why we can longer discuss person order situations, refund options or settlement options via this forum or our public site.

So the motion hasn't been filed? So there is nothing actually stopping your business. You're simply taking the easy route by not delivering miners and not providing refunds.
1959  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 02, 2014, 04:32:53 PM
It would be more reassuring to get the cold wallet addresses

The report listed 1EFJUipfCHFmmTFkF9vvjFKdBf3VbfvarM as the addressed used to demonstrate the balance. The funds were later transferred to
1J4PsqPxu6m9HcRBpdXExa7jnCsjJPozec and are still there. That is probably the cold wallet address.
1960  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [BFL] List of Lies on: June 01, 2014, 11:33:24 PM
They just updated it:

However, this is our second generation, so we have much greater clarity on the process and plan to begin shipments in June 2014.  Orders are shipped in order date priority so any order placed now should be expected to be delivered in July.

Look again:

"plan to begin shipments in May, 2014."
