1941  Economy / Economics / Re: for anyone interested in how much their personal data is worth on: September 08, 2023, 09:14:56 AM
Is there a way that data cost is also related to status or profession? Like are these class of people sort after more or not because if they are, I think the data value could be higher. So with the research you did, could you determine if doctors, lawyers, engineers are better placed in data urgency than those of unskilled.
1942  Other / Politics & Society / Re: POLITICS on: September 08, 2023, 07:56:34 AM
This reminds me of the one I wrote in the past  about Nigeria. regards to the blessings of natural resources that is not  utilized to the benefit of the masses.

Politics has become a debacle for countries whose leaders have turned their back on to the extent that the benefit of the soil is selfishly misused for very few in government. They use politics as game and only think of keeping themselves in power with their children inheriting them when they are gone, such does not bring true democracy.

1943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your security is our top priority! on: September 08, 2023, 06:52:50 AM
I have been waiting for the first casino that will come up with this type of post whether in their main Ann or as a new thread and here you are, it’s now a common strategy for businesses to use the mistakes of others to promote their business.

I haven’t really read about the latest casino hacked thoroughly but I have some thoughts in my mind, what if the hack was actually instigated by an insider how will your own casino protect customers from such act? Just imagine an employee goes rogue and decides to create a back door to allow him withdraw users funds of the company funds and flee, will your 2FA system help prevent such thing?

Well I see OP has suddenly refused to respond to some of the salient responses raised here and one of those responses is this above, on his post that he is obviously promoting 2FA authentication security because he logged in around 5 hours ago. He is as if other sites don't have such security level and as if casinos are going to force users to enable it where it is optional. Except it is mandatory on ToS then users will have to do that even when they know the importance .

Above all, I want to ask what is the reserve strength of his casino incase users bankroll is tampered even from an insider bypassing the 2FA.
1944  Economy / Speculation / Re: Impact of bitcoin price speculations on individual bitcoin holding on: September 08, 2023, 01:47:22 AM

In DCA, you do the buying regardless of the price. So whether the price is rising or falling, it doesn't matter. You don't analyze whether to take profit or to buy. That's not DCA. That's speculating and trading already. DCA is buying Bitcoin regularly regardless of the price movement.

I don't think we have to follow the way others DCA on their acquisition of coin. DCA is better when price is dropping so that when it rises you begin to see the difference in profit. Some people could still DCA when the price is increasing but I think that could be if they have seen the price is rising and probably going into bull while they don't want to stay outside the rally. Whichever way it is, DCA is for profit.
1945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: September 07, 2023, 06:24:42 PM
The truth is that right from the beginning men are always known for gamble than women not because women cannot gamble but because men are risk takers while women are risk accessors they make sure is a risk free before they could venture into it, and most important women loves there dignity and worth so they believe that going into gambling will change people's perception on them although majority of them normally gamble but women are not really known for gamblers. Most Men loves gamble because of there financial responsibilities they believe gamble is there way out while others believes otherwise.

A number of reasons also attribute to the reason men are more into gambling. These reasons are majorly that the games played in gambling are sports and other male related games. First, sports has so many games under it and sports is male in nature , so it is just recently that female stated having their own type of female games in sports like football, basketball, baseball etc. These are the reasons that gambling is a male dominated game. Another to it is the financial aspect of it and this is understandable that male are risk takers and they have access to cash more than the female. As a youth, the male have tendencies of having money earlier than female. A boy of 17 years is more exposed to taking care of himself financial than female who relies on the family or boyfriends.
1946  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Which sector fit drive di adoption of bitcoin pass for Nigeria on: September 07, 2023, 05:29:45 PM
Na nice post wey you drop op and na true say na public sector go really give puah to the usage of bitcoin because if schools begin get bitcoin as payment option for their portals then even students wey dey for the school self go begin publicly do their P2P. If you see bitcoin for remita when you want pay for government bill or tax then that one mean say adoption don start be that na and hodlers go dey shout hallelujah but my brother....  naija government no fit try am. Dem no even know how to go about it just incase other countries start am and them follow them. We get inefficient government or people in government, therefore every thing just dey go left left. Naija government na copy copy and them no dey copy well, so even if technologically developed countries begin adopt am, naija government own go be mess up .
1947  Economy / Economics / Re: We Are 2007 and next year 2008 on: September 07, 2023, 04:07:59 PM
The economy changed completely after 2008, and what led to the global financial crisis will not lead to it again. The economy has learned how to avoid a similar crisis, and this happened with a series of bank failures that began some time ago during this year. What will be the next crisis. It will inevitably be larger and have a deeper impact than 2008, but it may not be next year. Economic crises are not always good for Bitcoin. In the year 2020, when the year was affected by covid19, Bitcoin was also affected and is now affected by interest rates. Bitcoin follows the same pattern as most economies in the event of disasters, and we have not reached a level where we are independent.

How was bitcoin affected by COVID-19 in 2020 and also interest rates. I don't think bitcoin was affected in 2020, in the beginning of that year was the start of recovery for bitcoin around $7,200 after it dropped in 2019 to around $3,800. Therefore , I would say that 2020 was the build up to the bull run with the halving despite the harsh economic realities occasioned by the COVID-19. Bitcoin didn't get to ATH of $68,789 in November 2021 by magic but it was the rush in the investment on bitcoin after fiat was having the social contact "fears" which led also to online business revolution and work from home.

1948  Economy / Economics / Re: To afford personal education or a property? Where to allocate funds? on: September 07, 2023, 02:43:43 PM

You will allocate more to other investment schemes that you think will grow your capital. But if you are not a rich person but instead come from a poor family and your only hope is education to get out of the poverty you are facing, you will surely prioritize spending money on your education. This is, practically speaking, based on my opinion.

However education is not the only gate way to richness because some rich people who were not educated are now fixing themselves into schools or some just by their certificate from the school and that is it. Like if a CEO of an organisation only pays for school fees and other school requirements as a student but he doesn't attend classes for study of the course he registered for and at the end of the program he is called out for certificate award, it means he bought the certificate. So my point is education is not the only way to richness but except you are sure paying the fees is guarantee for job at the end because there are job loss across.
1949  Economy / Economics / Re: We Are 2007 and next year 2008 on: September 07, 2023, 01:10:26 PM
It is not a secret that next year is for btc halving and the expectation is very high for profit but what I think will happen is that many expectations will not be met especially those that will be trapped in the bull run. Some also will relax to cash out their profit even if the price has reached its high. This happened in last halving in 2020 when the price reached $64k, speculation was still high on the range of $100k but price started dropping from $64k until the correction became real. So we need to be at alert while the price is bull .
1950  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Population decline - The largest challange ahead on: September 07, 2023, 10:00:32 AM

6. Nigeria with over 50% muslim population is growing (5.31).

Hey where did you get your statistics from? I was beginning to give attention to your post until I saw this unproven stats from Nigeria. I didn't see any link attached to your post to read up your information and I believe this is based on guessing post for other stats for different countries and now I know better not to believe this write up. Please you have to provide link to such post that has more of statistics to avoid misleading people and I wonder no user pointed out the right thing to do .

It is still debated that Nigeria is not a dominant Muslim country even if you have seen that in Google, it is subjective.

For the records you have to provide the link that capture the statistical post you made.

The buttom line is your post should be backed up by reference.
1951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 07, 2023, 09:06:45 AM

Lol, because once a boy starts going into gambling that's when they will start misbehaving, many might not agree with me but it has happened few times within people that I know very well.

Lol I was thinking they said when a boy starts going after a lady that he starts misbehaving and vice versa. That a man starts to get rude, keep friends, keep late when he is in puberty and newly dating that he begins all sorts of behaviour  Grin. Alright, now I understand that gambling can also cause that to happen maybe because of the influence of money from probable winning.
1952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: September 07, 2023, 07:00:52 AM
I was in argument with someone. His view is that people who gamble are those that what they have is not sufficient for them and so they try to make more money from gambling. He said if you have sufficient money to take care of your needs that you won't think of gambling. He made reference to some rich people, who don't gamble because they have sufficient money to even gift to charity but that those rich who still gamble are only addicted to it not just because of the money. Therefore, that the percentage of the rich gambling is very small compared to those in middle class and lower class.

So my question is, is the percentage of the rich gambling lower than the middle and lower class?

I used to have a friend who worked as a croupier in a small casino. She recounted many different situations that occur in casinos, but in general, all of them happened to people with money, businessmen and production managers. In general, people who can afford to lose a couple thousand dollars every month. Therefore, I think that those who have money mostly go to the casino in order to get more, to play with luck and experience adrenaline. There are no poor people there, they are all working, trying to ensure their existence, they are not up to adrenaline.

There could be a study of this or just a survey whether the rich gamble to make more or just enjoy adrenaline. To me the rich gambles more with precision to make money not with luck. Their gamble is to secure more money which could lie to investing and a sure way to make money than relying on luck. One way the rich gambles with security in mind is betting on odds like 1.10.

Its the gambler with lesser funds who are more prone to riskier bets in the hopes to hit the biggie.

Which way else to gamble that you don't have to depend on luck @bittraffic. No matter how we try to protect ourselves from lose in the game we are betting by even going for smaller odds, they are still at risk of loss. If the rich guys bet with a huge amount of money for a more easier winning game, they sometimes lose. I have witnessed that severally. Example, a guy lost $1,000 two consecutive times on a single bet he played and not until the third time that he won, so he is still chasing his $1,000 back. Betting is luck no matter how we try to reduce our risk.
1953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Control Your Emotions and Win More Bets on: September 07, 2023, 06:07:14 AM

Sometimes it takes experience before we can start thinking clearly because we have been on that road before and we know what comes next. Rekt!

That is why experience says more of how our emotion should be guided. If we have been a thing in a longtime, there is tendency that we have better understanding than those who are just new, like a newbie is not same thing compared to an old user. So a well experienced gambler knows gambling is about winning and losing so if in a loss occurs, a more experienced gambler knows when to walk away. I agree that there is a link between winning or losing to emotion and how our brain function.
1954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Control Your Emotions and Win More Bets on: September 06, 2023, 09:24:19 PM
I believe that the brain is the engine on which every other part of our body functions including our fears, anxiety or happiness. When we gamble, the brain send signal on the way we should feel depending on the outcome of the bet. So for example if the bet is a lose then we are likely to feel bad, if we are not sure of the winning potential of our game it is the brain that either make us have that anxiety or fear. So if we are able to get a balance of our emotion due to our winning rate then, we can make more progress and I think that is why sometimes when you are winning then you can be able to continue winning but a lose changes your countenance which also interacts with the brain.

Therefore, a bad feeling may not be good for gambling and that could be the reason addicts lose more than profit.
1955  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs are created for unemployment purpose on: September 06, 2023, 06:21:18 PM
Well that looks like the face value or literal conclusion of it that CBDC could phase out fiat and banks, I could be tempted to move towards that allusion but what about the influence of government and control they always want to have on the economy majorly through financial and payment platforms which is fiat and not crypto. So government won't give such leverage for digital currency to take over entirely. Therefore, the banks are going nowhere but we could have reduced staffs at the time CBDC is fully implemented.
1956  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to advertise for the New World Order. on: September 06, 2023, 05:32:39 PM
Whether OWO pay or not. I feel what's more important for us to focus on is to promote unity, respect, and an equitable equality across the continents of the world instead of spreading fear. Let's propagate open dialogue and shared understanding amongst numerous perspectives.

How can such unity be propagated and solidify when there is renewed scrabble for Africa? It seems like mission impossible to achieve after US had a turn of imposition on some East countries, Russia invaded Ukraine and African leaders are fingered to be carrying out the bidding of their foreign friends. The fear syndrome is what will not keep the dialogue on because you don't just trust who is dialoguing with you.

You choose a name that will get people wonder if you allow under age to sign up to your site especially with the fun game aspect. I hope and believe littleboys are what they are and they have to wait until they are aged enough to be allowed to gamble legally.

Anyway, it has being a while we had casino with token. I think the last I could remember is BFG or something close to that. You are welcome to the forum and hope your provably fair is fair enough to players.
You are right the name have suggested another perceptions before I could open the thread some hours ago I was discourage by the name little boy but then I took a look and I saw that the op got some interesting thing going with the casino.

But I can say if their token is going to be anything different from all the other casino's coins/tokens that we have hard here on the gambling board,  most of them are already dead and forgotten,  but let's see how thing goes this time.

BFG is still very much alive . If you check through BFG on CMC is trading @ 0.014. It is mostly on Dex exchanges and I think we had betfury ran a campaign here this year. So probably it could be a good track for op to follow by reaching out to some managers who can help him publicize the casino more. I think @ CryptopreneurBrainboss handled betfury signature campaign.

1959  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The conspiracy of Chicago State University and Tinubu on: September 06, 2023, 12:54:15 PM
The issue and challenge with Tinubu is that everything about him is shrouded in secrecy, from his education to his livelihood. He doesn't have his records straight and that is why Nigerians don't believe him to be the better choice. We all know that the election was rigged and they know that the constitution allows for swearing in despite adjudication and now they have used the judiciary to get judgement for themselves. The Nigerian constitution need to be amended not to allow for swearing in new government until whatever legal adjudication on the election was through.

1960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fan of casino reviews online? This is a must-read on: September 06, 2023, 12:18:40 PM

So if I don't know about Bitcointalk forum and 1xbit I would have though the online casino is a good one. There is no single bad review about 1xbit on TrustPilot and I was like how the hell this is happening?

Reviews of website could be deceptive and misleading. I guess you are overwhelmed because you know 1xbit here as a user but I'm not surprised because some website do lobby some people for positive reviews even some apps online do that. So to rely on review alone is not advisable. The gambling board is enough to help users who are in doubt on a casino they intend to sign up to.
