Why do you need to become a Junior Member to post an Announcement? So you can post images? If so, you can purchase the a Copper Membership for this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2385104.msg24371150#msg24371150

Why the need for 3 Escrows?
Hi Lauda,
Thanks for your question!

- More secure for the bounty participants.

Not necessarily. Depends who you use. It could just be more ways for there to be issues.
1967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk's English Premier League Football Pool |£25 to join Pot @ £375 on: June 20, 2018, 10:56:41 AM
I'm down for an entry fee of £25- never participated in one of these before, I'm interested to see how it'll turn out.

Nice. The pool last year turned out very well and everyone seemed to enjoy it. I've put you down in the op. Pot now at £400.

Just make sure you wait the full six minutes before you post. This includes logging in. The time decreases as you gain more activity.

I was hoping it was going to be like the bizarre film Trump recently showed to Kim Jong: https://www.theguardian.com/world/video/2018/jun/12/the-action-movie-style-trailer-trump-says-he-played-to-kim-video

Probably because of this:

Bitcointalk signature/avatar: add Solarex signature/avatar to your Bitcointalk account for the duration of the ICO and make at least 10 valid posts per week and at least 1 quality reply on our ANN thread for the whole Bounty period:

1978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: June 16, 2018, 01:58:54 PM
Please note Local rule: This thread is only for those who have paid to play in the pool. Anyone posting in here who hasn't paid will have their posts removed.

For the past few years I've organised betting pools for the English Premier League along with the Champions League and World Cup, and now it's time for the 2020/21 Premier League pool which will kick off on the 12th of September. This year's pool is sponsored by Sportsbet.io and they've generously donated 0.15 into the pot along with some other great prizes (see details of below), so thanks to both jeremypwr and Sportsbet for that.

We will again be using the www.superbru.com website for predictions where you get 3 points for predicting an exact score, 1 point for a correct outcome (win/lose/draw) and 1.5 for a close prediction with correct outcome. Superbru is a free and easy to use site taking only a minute or two to register. You can change your scores right up until kick-off and you can even put your predictions in advance even for the entire season if you wanted to which is perfect if you think you might be away for the forum or not have a chance to make your predictions.

The total prizes will depend on how many people ultimately join, but the previous prizes were as follows:

0.1
0.05
0.04
0.03
0.02
0.015
0.014
0.013
0.012
0.011

= 0.305

What's left after fees will go to the highest overall weekly round (ten match rounds or less are only counted).

How it works: The competition is very similar to SkyBet's SuperSix tournament but every week each person involved will predict what they think the exact scores will be of all the games that will be played that week. We will be using the superbru website to keep track of points.

Example of scoring:

If you picked:

Arsenal v Leicester 0-1
Burnley v Swansea 0-0
Crystal Palace v West Brom 1-1

And the actual results are:

Arsenal v Leicester 2-1 Loss: 0 points
Burnley v Swansea 0-0 Win: 40 points
Crystal Palace v West Brom 2-2 Win: 10 points

You would get 50 points from those three selections. The winner would obviously be the person who gets the most points over the season and the top five users will win prizes. This time there will also be 2 or 3 small consolation prizes for those that get the highest points from a round at the end of the season so everybody still has something to play for no matter where you are in the table.

They can, but they rarely get involved in these matters. Changing IPs isn't always conclusive proof either.

Money, probably.
