1964  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The RollinCoin scammer is back (again) as crazybtrade on: December 29, 2016, 06:45:10 PM
You are not right. I bought script with pre-install  bitcoin node on vps.
So you're telling me you are running your service from a wallet you did not set up yourself, hence from one you do not have sole access to, one that might be comprimised,
using addresses that have not been created by you yourself, addresses that the user who set up your shit could have easily copied?

I don't buy your story, but even if, this would be a HUGE risk of securty, both for your funds and the funds of your users.
1965  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The RollinCoin scammer is back (again) as crazybtrade on: December 29, 2016, 06:16:01 PM
Remember the RollinCoin/Fastbitroulette scammer from a while back?
Yes, how could I forget. Ugly shit.

Hoe pretty accurate  is this?
Blockchain connections are as good as it gets.

If memory serves right, btcmasterZ was banned due to their extortion and other things that happened back then.
It appears the ban has been a permanent one (I'm currently checking that bit), which would make all actions by crazybtctrade ban evasion.
1966  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: December 28, 2016, 06:02:52 PM
You are right in that point I mostly get scam projects. maybe because I am an easy target for them. LOL.. but the truth is I never applied to work with them (there is no any greed of money. because in most cases I got nothing). Impulse and most of others offered me that position themselves.. (I've paid everyone on impulse myself.)
Not really the right place to discuss this, imo.
Let's keep it to discussing campaigns, rather than users.

Not sure about the date since they just said 12 days and 12 days from now is Jan. 9. I've added a red asterisk as well.
Still don't like it.
There is no guarantee that you get the rate you now listed in the overview. Those rates are for a few members only, and you can't guarantee you are among those.
Further, they have 8 paid spots (4 btc, 4 CGC token), the other spots are unpaid. Again, you can't guarantee you are going to be in a paid spot.
Should we really support/list something like that?
I say no.

Does not the sponsor of this thread have any signature campaign?
You can purchase an ad spot without running a signature campaign.
If there is none listed in OP/the latest update, there probably is none at all.
1967  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SELLING] TONS of coins for sale on: December 28, 2016, 07:18:27 AM
Killyou, stop.....take a breath.  This is how most every transaction goes:

You make a deal with you, the buyer, and escrow in a pm
Buyer agrees
Escrow gives a btc address to buyer
Buyer sends btc to escrow
escrow confirms payment
You send product to buyer
Buyer gets product and alerts escrow
escrow sends btc to you
yes but see I do not see a point in using escrow because than I am relying on the honesty of the buyer.
In that case, you might think about videotaping yourself while packing the goods, including a clear shot of the shipping label,
so in case of any dispute (given the buyers missing "honesty"), you can provide sufficient proof to the escrow that you held up your end of the deal, so that he can still release the btc to you.

I am going to be using this type of escrow for my trades
you send btc to escrow
I send coins to escrow
escrow reships coins
escrow releases btc
I guess this is possible ^ assuming the escrowing person wants to reship the coins.
Not to mention who bears the cost of the double shipping costs? You? The buyer? Both?
I've used this with Minerjones recently for an auction I won.
Since the seller was based in the US anyway and I prefer to get stuff shipped internationally in batches, rather than one by one, it was the obvious thing to do.
I think it depends on the situation, but it's one way to go for sure.

1968  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: December 28, 2016, 07:08:25 AM
Though this campaign has been discussed many times, but I was under assumption it was locked and the campaign was not going to start but today again it pooped up and people were posting to join. Weren't there some problem with their signature and all. I feel it should be updated in the main thread to join or not to join for every ones sake. It's creating lot of confusion.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1731061.0
I'd not list this campaign for several reasons, one being they only pay a part of their participants in btc, and the others in their own token (or not at all),
there's no way to know whether you will be paid in btc, as it is for the "best" posters in each rank.
This thread has made an effort to only list bitcoin paying campaigns, and such a half/half-scheme should not be made an exception.

Further, there's the issue of having a self-moderated thread,
the previous problems with the runners (first the copying of signatures by medUSA, then the spamming over the problems with jamal),
and a few other points. One may just look at the "better you hurry up and start posting a lot" part in their OP, which is a direct incitement to spamming.

(If we're to list the campaign, I strongly suggest giving them the warning asterisk at least.)

TO minifrij : We are in the same situation ,working for our employer, or : for money.
Just do what we can to help our employer to become stronger , you for btcointalk.org , me for www.girlbtc.com/bitcoinforum
You're mistaken. Very much like me, minifrij does not work for this forum in any given way.
They, aswell as I, are not part of this forums staff.

Comment after you get the whole story.
I know the situation well enough to comment.

Then ,what are you here for ? not for money?
My intentions on this forum don't matter to the topic at hand.
I've yet to see a single satoshi for any of my reports though (We're at 9871 as of making this post), so if you want to make it about money, feel free to pay me for them.

What is the "past actions"  in your dictionary that makes you a lifetime enemy of girlbtc and beat him whenever he shows up?
mini actually made a great list, that should cover most.

It should be a vote of all members in this forum ,not you to say "no" as a president. Lutpin we respect the "signature campaign" you have done. but try to don't make it seems like you have this forum.
It's up to theymos, who, last time somebody checked, was the same opinion as I am. Feel free to ask them/staff about it.
1971  Other / Meta / Re: I have a question on: December 28, 2016, 01:00:33 AM
At least girlbtc is a good guy
In my book, "good guys" don't threaten to kill people.

At least he pays you.
Money doesn't buy you respect. It doesn't erase your past actions either.

Now that he is permaban I don't know if someone else is still allowed to advertise his service here.
It seems the answer to that questions is, no.
1972  Other / Meta / Re: I have a question on: December 28, 2016, 12:04:02 AM
There is edited source link  in the end of the post.  (I didn't archive it )
There was none when I reported the post, and seems there was none when you archived it either.

If in wrong section , you can move it to right one. why delete it ?
Why post it in the wrong section to start with?

PS:read carefully before you comment. it is not news , it is discuss about bitcoin.
It is a 100% copy of a news article, and hence should be posted in the correct section, with the correct format for the title and with the proper source.
Neither of it was done here.

Bitcoin is a global barometer is the topic
It is worthy of discuss.
Then create a discussion topic, reference to the original article and start a discussion.
Don't just copy&paste it and throw it in there. This is not how you start a discussion.
1973  Other / Meta / GirlBTC "full time hired" spammer. on: December 27, 2016, 11:53:20 PM
You copy and pasted a post without giving proper credit to the source,
further, it has been posted in the wrong section aswell (Looks like a news article, but been posted in Bitcoin Discussion).
1974  Other / Meta / Re: Girlbtc.com spamming the forum on: December 27, 2016, 10:30:49 PM
Indeed. I've noticed the latest report just a few minutes ago.
Looks like they don't even bother to add anything to it at this point.
The last post I reported was pretty plain, their url as topic and this "respect and you will be respected" bullshit as content.
It's starting to remind me of the Sports-stream spammers or the product backlink stuff.
1975  Economy / Services / Re: Lutpin | Advertising Campaign Management [Looking for work] on: December 27, 2016, 08:41:54 PM
May contact you soon about setting up a small signature campaign for one of my services soon. You seem like you do well with the camps you run but would you work with running a small low paying one?
I ran quite a few campaigns I'd now consider small, OneHash being one example.
While I now focus on bigger/long term projects mostly, I'm always open to pick up something else for a time.
Let me know what you got in mind, and I'll tell you if I'm the guy for it Smiley

1978  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: December 27, 2016, 04:37:39 AM
CGC project signature campaign has been started now and his manager is  Jamalaezaz and and you can search here  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1729518.0 to get information about the CGC project .
This campaign is currently not approved by the owner. The campaign is locked and the manager is waiting for the owner to approve the campaign rules after that it will be started so it is better to wait for the start up before adding it to the list.
Looks like jamalaezaz was just "fired". At least that's what their official account says (reference: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1729518.msg17310816#msg17310816).
The campaign seems to be on halt once again (like the previous thread), no point in adding it right now, before the runners have sorted out their issues.
1979  Economy / Services / Re: CGC Project Signature Contest - Earn BTC and CGC Tokens on: December 27, 2016, 04:32:56 AM
This has to be one of the most chaotic signature campaigns I've seen in quite some time.

@CGC Project: Calm down, contact your manager in private, check everything with them and don't spam all over the forum.
It not only looks unprofessional on your behalf, it also damages both you/your project and the manager.

@jamalaezaz: Got any idea what the frik is going on here?
