I recently watched the first 4 episodes of Netflix's "Money, Explained" and one of its episodes discusses the mechanism of how our brains work when gambling. Personally, the "Gambling" episode was an eye-opener for me as I have gained a lot of interesting facts and different collective opinions which might give us a different point of view. The Gist of the episode:The fourth episode is all about gambling, its history, the psychology behind it, the process of getting hooked into gambling as well the most alarming issue that I have heard where it says that day trading is just pure gambling. One thing that we are all familiar with is the psychology that the gambling industry has evaluated to keep their customer to gamble by using the so-called "hooks". These hooks are something that will make people sit for long hours while making their gambling experience more enjoyable and enticing to make a lot of money. In effect, if these people have been "hooked", they will now fall under a mental state [1] of total focus called the "The Zone". This means that the long hours of keeping people into gambling, the more money they can take out of other people's pockets. These psychology tactics have also led other trading and investing company to use them to keep people unaware of the risk they are taking while being spammed with notifications of the current market sentiment, and an opportunity to get a free stock. Moreover, this episode also emphasizes that day trading is equivalent to gambling. My take:I am aware that the argument about day trading as gambling or not has been discussed often before and it could be tiring to prove a particular point due to its subjective nature. One could say that day trading is a combination of little to non T. A and pure luck, others would say that day trading could never equate to gambling since the ability to read charts and proper risk management would decrease the percentage of getting rekt. It will just result in a never-ending comparison. References:[1] https://www.peaksports.com/sports-psychology-blog/mindsets-to-help-athletes-perform-in-the-zone/

It may not be possible to reach the same level as the physical casinos, but what would you like to have on these that would make you feel better treated?
Keeping the physical advantages aside that no online gambling platform could actually offer. I think creating a solution to a lower amount of withdrawal fees can equate the feeling of being treated nicely when you're playing on land based casino. Though I am aware that it has something to do with bitcoin and the operating cost of casino in general, I still think that it is possible to withdraw your money online without exchanging to an altcoin for a better fee rate, a withdrawal fee based on the current status of mempool etc.. Personally, that seems to be more like a VIP status can get to an online casino.

I was wondering how to maximize profit and find resources for live news or market analysis.
Did you mean cypto news aggregator? I think cryptopanic should be the top of your list to stay updated with the news happening around. I will also list other news site that you may find useful in the process. [1] https://cryptopanic.com/Other news aggregator. [2] https://faws.com/[3] https://cryptogoat.net/

Have you done any technical analysis before getting into trades? T.A will probably be one of the most important guidelines to set your target price. It could an inverse level of the leg of the move, or when the trend fails to hold the price, etc. Commonly, people who leave their trades unattended due to being overconfident that the price will continue to go up without setting a target price in mind will surely lose their profit and time in the long run.
It also depends on your bankroll management/ risk management. There are people who decide to close their position when they have 2-5% of profit or perhaps, psychologically speaking when they are happy with the returns. Remember that R/R will give a hint to know when the pull yourself in and out of the trade.
@OP, the goal is to have a consistent winning trade that you can duplicate over time to survive in the long run. Also, there are a plethora of trading strategies out there that you need to backtest, forward test, accuracy test to determine which works best for you.

Not into some motivational quotes but we can all say that the summary of being a trader whether you are losing or winning is subjective depending on the tools, strategy, personality, and schedule you currently have. These "debacles" and the solution for these problems may be simple but in reality, applying these tricks would take a lot of courage and experiences to master. Just want to share this post in twitter that I found a few days ago. Hope this helps and inspires you for another long day of trading. when you click on an article and you read through the end, there is a preview of other articles but you can't scroll to the right. Seems like this is missing. https://ibb.co/rQfLdhkHave tried using my laptop and I can confirm that something is missing on the "Relevant News" panel. Using the toucpad scroll also didn't work out. Perhaps, a scrollbar underneath the articles will do, or maybe a navigation arrow. I also tested it using a smartphone and I have no issues with regards to navigation.

The goal is to feature such articles of all the casinos on GOSU - gonna take a while and pretty much a never ending job but I hope it helps.
Have read some of the articles specifically the new Rollbit Binary Trading. It's just a timing to see an article that discusses trading 101 because currently I am studying technical analysis and I find it interesting to see if the trading experience in a casino is different than trading in an exchange. And yes, it definitely help newbies to at least have an idea of the game they are getting into. Before I forget, I am also finishing other errands to get back into work with you. Thank you soo much!

Greetings everyone, I have been looking various trading journal services across different platform including reddit and any other different trading platform and it seems that the popular ones are as follows. - TraderSync
- TraderVue
- And of course the excel spreadsheet
I wonder if the first 2 platforms also work in cryptocurrency since I found them on forex and stocks trading forum discussion. Would love to know your recommendation of any other platform that you currently use to monitor your win rate, average winning per day, etc. Or I should use an excel spreadsheet to monitor my progress? Would appreciate if you have any other suggestions in mind that I should consider. Thank you.

As the days passed, the regret for not being able to ride the trend of their growing community is somewhat confusing though. It is confusing to the point that even though I have the capacity for buying a decent team, I just can't sacrifice liquidating even just a cent of my crypto portfolio since it nose dives a month ago, and selling them would just turn my long term portfolio to be in vain.
Seeing other people who can provide multiple scholarships is quite a nice investment not only that they can provide a decent monthly wage to many people but also it's a business where they can simply secure a passive income. I am pretty envious of what they achieve but I am also happy that the Axie community is providing oxygen amidst the pandemic. As a latecomer, I just hope that the community will stay here for a longer period so that if ever the opportunity comes forward, I can join the boat too!

If you think this is suspicious enough, then you might want to avoid Betking.io not because of investment-related feedbacks but because it require you to edit and save your clientseed before you are given a hash of the serverseed.
Based on my understanding of verifying seeds! I think this is kind of a red flag because technically the server seed is generated by their server and is hashed using the SHA-256 algorithm before it will be given to their user and before the player changed or input his "Client seed." There is even a previous scam accusation with betking. [1] https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5287553.0

Just a heads up for everyone who is waiting for their prize in their Roobet account. It has finally arrived after just a few days of waiting. If you have problems in withdrawing your winning prizes, make sure that you have completed the Level 1 KYC and deposited at least $5 for the account verification. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FWQm4RiE.png&t=663&c=GQVCwxFt50HtjQ)

You guys are right but sometimes this mempool fee thingy can be confusing tbh. Today the slow withdraw fee on FBC (faucet) is less than a dollar.
The most easy way to frequently go to your computer, log in to your roobet account and the check if the transaction fee has been lowered or not. Alternatively, you can just check the summary of the data reflected on the mempool by following this thread[1] and this person[2] in twitter or to just study on how read the chart in johoe mempool. There are bunch of useful threads in other section of the forum so that you can estimate when will Roobet lower the tx fee. It's too early for you to be disappointed. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) The thing is that scalping has its own advantages, your training will not be in vain, for several years spent behind the charts I learned a lot, these are the positive aspects of my activity. Money and knowledge. In any case, if you start day-trading it will be useful for your statistics and vision of the market, its understanding. The main thing is not to stay for a long time in short-term trading, because it is not as profitable as compared to other types of trading. Thank you so much for clearing this up, I thought that my hope in trading will get rekt early at this moment. Honestly, though, I have scanned some of the reddit post that discusses their trading stories just to get my drive up and alive in studying as much as I can in day trading. Reading them thoroughly will at least give you some pattern on how they started from scratch, losses money up to being a consistently profitable trader. It just feels good that there are still other people that gets into the 5%-10% who are successful in this career. I hope that i could thank myself in the future for learning on how to trade at the young age. Anyhow, thank you for the inspiration. I would love to join if you have a trading community as a hub for learning!

Sure that you have a really massive amount of money invested in crypto and you have the capacity to pay off your loan to your family if ever the market declines, but isn't that enough? I am just saying that be aware of your greed because it is more likely that you'll find yourself in a debt spiral as your greed develops.
Though it is possible to get a loan, however, you should have at least consider having other source of income since you are responsible for loan repayments every month if that's the plan between you and your family. At the end of the day it is a gamble and that's for sure, it is a big win if the price goes otherwise you'll end up getting rekt.

I haven't got the prize yet in my Roobet account, but I'm not sure if it's only me or if the prizes have not been sent yet. I would like to know if there is an ETA for the prizes
The prize usually arrives into your account after a few days or even a week of waiting. and if we have to do some wagering requirements before withdrawing them.
As far as I remember, you only need to have a deposited amount of $5 and a complete Level 1 KYC to get your account verified and to be able to withdraw your balance. There is no wager requirement.

Also can develop good and strict disciplines for trading career.
Do you still think that a trading career is still doable? Assuming that you've studied and get your education first and then refining it day by day? Getting education means that you are studying the theoretical concepts, practicing your money in the real market with proper risk and bankroll management and a good mental analysis? That might sound too optimistic but can we still make a career as a trader?

Almost 7 dollars for the slow withdrawal... shouldn't they be reduced by now? Even other sites don't charge higher than a few bucks.
Sometimes it is kind of a waiting game in order to withdraw your funds in the most reasonable transaction fee that you can based on the data presented on the mempool and its relationship with the current hashrate and difficulty. And I think you don't have any choice to either withdraw your funds now that you are not comfortable with or just wait until the difficulty has been adjusted in the next few days and the mempool gets cleared.

Just a little suggestion though. It would be more helpful if you could at least give some scope of the articles you are comfortable writing. And since you are in a cryptocurrency forum, commonly there are other forum members who are looking for writers that specializes in technical stuff about cryptocurrency in general. I've seen one hiring thread here but unfortunately they have reached the number of applicants. Browse this section more often, I am certain that you can find one.
