it seems that greed and corruption are problems for every country, even though the death penalty is imposed, this seems to have become a human trait that tends to have no satisfaction in itself, making it a greedy human being. but in every country, of course, there are various ways to reduce these human vices, and I am sure that the future will be better The problem is that these corrupt people are doing what they want because they know that they have connections that are so powerful that they are deemed untouchable. If the people woke up from all the bullshit that these corrupt people serve, I am sure that we will be able to slowly destroy corruption.

It didn't advance because this virus was already talked around years ago in a medical science journal but they got ignored. I would say that the world already has the tools they just don't want to use it because there was no pandemic and now here we are and everyone is cramming because they don't know what to do, the innovations during this pandemic are almost temporary I guarantee that.

I'm afraid that's just impossible. It's in human's nature, I doubt it will ever change. Entire human history is a story about greed and corruption. By the way, that's exactly why USSR failed in their dream about communist society where everyone gives to the extent of his abilities and receives anything he wants. I believe that we can reach that point, yes the human nature is pretty selfish but if little by little we raise at least a small percentage of generation that is virtuous, I think that it is enough because they know what to do, they raise more of it and lead. The problem with the USSR is that it landed on the hands of Stalin and almost everyone on the position of power is power hungry.

The Indian economy is currently getting screwed by the 2nd wave and the lockdowns in different states are making things worse to an extent.
I expected the Indian economy to slowly and steadily recover this year just like other countries, but I never expected the 2nd wave to be more brutal than the first. The Modi Government are being criticised from all corners of the world for letting things get out of hand in this manner.
I don't live on India so I don't have the full grasp of the situation in terms of politics and society there but from what I have heard, the second wave could have been prevented if that one big gathering was prevented from happening. This is going to cause the recovery to go slower unless the government improves their responses.

Corrupt politicians won't disappear in the foreseeable future. After all they're all bought by transnational corporations who finance their election campaigns in return for new juicy contracts, mining licenses, concessions etc. And if someone independent comes to power then we see a "lack of democracy" scenario with another "flower revolution" or whatever they call them now. Where are people in this picture? Right, no one gives a damn about them.
If we don't raise a generation any different from the generation that raised us then corruption isn't going to go anywhere. And if people that will precede this corrupt people is going to do a different thing and not be corrupted then corruption is going to be destroyed slowly but surely.

The aim of technology is convenience after all so I think that there isn't any change because it was the aim in the first place. I would say that Internet make almost half of the people lazy but not all of them because I believe that it is the person's decision to be lazy and not the technology being provided.

No, I don't think so, these CBDC are made to aid the economy and track where the people are using their money for transactions. Not mention that not everyone can use CBDC because not everyone has mobile devices in them.

For companies like Tesla, having bitcoin investments will help the company grow and attract more investors. As for the other companies who are also adopting the new hype and new kind of investments, it is also their advantage to use it the blockchain technology within their system. There are a lot of companies that are successful purchasing bitcoin and allowing crypto payments to their system.
Well, they are still underperforming despite buying bitcoin and selling bitcoin in profits. The problem with incorporating is that they are probably going to have a meeting and disagreement with the board whether they should integrate bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a payment system. Progress only moves forward and the companies that are going to ignore it is going to get left behind.

Laszlo still has a lot of BTC, I don't think he is the biggest loser. His transaction actually made it a very historical act in BTC that every year there is BTC pizza day to celebrate it. There are users who had lost it all like the ones who lost his hard drive to which thousands of BTC were there inside because that drive was used to store the mined BTC. I am not trying to say that Laszlo was the biggest crypto loser but in the context of the thread,I am saying that Laszlo lost more bitcoin than OP. Those people with the lost drives weren't the biggest loser since they contributed to the growth of the market with their lost coins.

Nah, dude you aren't the biggest crypto loser there is if there is really one because there's Laszlo to compare to you, he got the pizza but the prize was too big to pay with 10k, although there is no regret to him because he knows that he didn't expect that the prices will go this high. I hope that you will find some way to restore hope in you.

I have heard about bitcoin about 2016 or early 2017 back when people are still on the fence as to what bitcoin is and most of the stories about it is horror story like how it is the currency of the underbelly of deep web. I used bitcoin back in late 2018 when I was still a gambling fiend so there isn't much fun to that but now I am reformed and I can say that the bitcoin that I earn is going to good causes.

Nuclear Fusion has been studied and it really can work but the problem is eventually we are going to run out of space to store the waste that nuclear powerplants expel and this waste needs to be kept for a long long time without the worry of being discovered by future generations. Not to mention that there hasn't been any improvement in the design of nuclear powerplant since they stopped racing to get a lot of nuclear missiles, and most plants around the world is being dismantled which is counterproductive because they favor coal and fossil fuels as energy source which is the cause of climate change.

Hold or staking both are suitable but I prefer staking rather than hold . If you want to invest in Ethereum and bitcoin then you should keep it with apy% in different staking period. You can get benifits and Profits if market continuing to improve.
I wanted to stake some coins too, the problem is that I am still hodling my bitcoin and I don't want to spend it yet because if I want to stake, I should at the least get a decent amount in it so I can get bigger profits.

Yeap, hence why I said that the journalists are simply ignorant. Bitcoin is always being compared to early iterations of certain platforms/software; despite Bitcoin being not just any kind of software, as it's a protocol. It's quite a significant difference.
It's not comparison but analogy in my opinion since Netscape is the first famous browser and Bitcoin being the first of its kind, I think that that analogy is the reason why they believe that bitcoin is going to be obscure in the long run which isn't true because I think Netscape didn't last a decade.

Don't worry about it because when satoshi shows up, I don't think that everyone is going to believe that he/she is satoshi. To be honest, I don't think that satoshi is planning to show up any time soon because if satoshi wanted, I am sure that 10 years is a pretty dramatic revelation don't you think?

I don’t think the market gives much of a damn about what Uzbekistan does or doesn’t do but this is obviously good news for those living in Uzbekistan. I’m not sure what kind of volume is there from those living in Uzbekistan but good for them I guess.
Well, let's just be happy for what they are doing because it is a sign of progress. There might not be a lot of volume there but I think that there is a considerable amount of volume there since it is still a country. I hope that more countries follow what Uzbekistan did.

I don't think that decentralized wallets are going to be controlled by the government, they are decentralized for a reason so there is no way to control them unless the government goes the authoritarian route and watch all the things that their citizens do.

I think that crypto has already took off a long time ago and what is currently happening right now is the mid 1990s for bitcoin where nothing uneventful besides the occasional ATHs.

Depends whether it has a large audience but it still will do the job even if there are less audience. The only problem that I see with this is that the debate is probably going to antagonize bitcoin rather than having a proper debate about which one is better than the other.

Investing $100 in btc from 2010 has been a millionaire now in 2021. We buy and sells on daily basis so we can not make money like others with holding power. People invested in 2010 has proven that holding for long term good projet can gives amazing profits.
That is if they had hodled bitcoin without being tempted to sell it at some point because there are points where bitcoin got good prices and I don't think that someone is going to let that kind of thing pass by. Someone who hodled back 2010 up to now deserves the profit because they have nerves of steel of a patience.
