21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ???? AFRAID OF NEW PROJECTS !!! ? on: September 27, 2019, 10:20:36 AM
I can only think of 1 genuine project that's yet to release that is truly interesting and genuine, yet back in 2015/16 there was a constant flow of new and innovative ideas. Looking back some were junk but some were good and stayed around. I think now there's enough money in existing projects for them to change to whatever they need to be. It makes no sense that a project launching today will be able to outpace years of dev and money. That is why most are sceptical.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bakkt disappointment on: September 27, 2019, 10:17:24 AM
Last time a futures market opened BTC got rekt, so why do you think it would be any different with Bakkt?
23  Economy / Speculation / Re: How Bakkt will influence Bitcoin price? on: September 27, 2019, 10:00:06 AM
I don't think Bakkt will directly influence the price of BTC at all. However in the future when bigger players want to dabble in crypto, say as the next bull run comes, then they might want to be able to use Bakkt for institutional plays. That's when it will indirectly increase the price of BTC.
24  Economy / Speculation / Re: Down below $9k! Buy the dip now? on: September 27, 2019, 09:55:35 AM
Depends on your perspective. Long term, 5+ years you can't go wrong accumulating on dips like these. If you have a short term view then yeah you could easily get rekt as BTC could keep falling. I win by always having a long term view lol.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: September 27, 2019, 09:51:42 AM
Does anyone know what the latest is with the IOTA Jinn token that was issues on the NXT platform back in the day? It relates to the ternary CPU they were trying to create for IOTA POW.

Is the sig bounty payment per week? So 100 tokens per week for a hero/legendary?

What happened? Did the guy claiming to have 6 above refuse to use escrow?

Always use a trusted middle man for transactions with strangers or those who, out of the blue, claim they have what you need.

No, unfortunately they were selling the LTC versions not the BTC ones :/
31  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB - Original Antrouter R1 - Bitcoin/SHA256 on: March 09, 2018, 08:18:29 PM
Bump, will take a used unit but ideally want a new/sealed unit.

34  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] WIFI Bitcoin And Altcoin Price Ticker Screen - afkdata.com on: March 06, 2018, 04:48:54 PM
What's the latest? When are new batches in and are you doing a V2?
35  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Who likes pod miners? on: February 24, 2018, 05:06:24 PM
My only annoyance is being involved in this thread for what seems like a very long time, yet missing a few weeks when the Laura email was mentioned and being at the back of the list. I understand there's not much to be done, but still frustrating! Looking forward to being able to place my order.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STRATIS is the Next BIG THING! 102 DAYS TO TRUE MOON COUNTDOWN on: December 08, 2017, 03:15:08 PM
Lol, so you think Stratis will just copy ETH exactly? Not going to happen! I like Stratis and own a few, but it doesn't work like that. Stratis will start to pump as their masternodes, including the smaller 1000 coin ones are released. Stratis has the best dev documentation by far for smart contracts.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of Cryptocurrencies will Not Survive in 2018 on: December 08, 2017, 03:12:47 PM
Lol there's no chance alts are not going to survive 2018. What do you even mean by "not survive"? We've seen loads of coins come back from the dead this year, the market is only going to grow and grow next year. Expect more alts and old ones pumping once again.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA Wallets on: December 08, 2017, 03:10:16 PM
Good news is that an independent developer is working on an IOTA wallet for the Ledger Nano S, so IOTA will have hardware wallet support. Don't worry though, it is tested by IOTA and Ledger before going live! Cheesy
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: INVEST 500$ MONTHLY on: December 08, 2017, 03:08:49 PM
I think the idea is great, it's always worth spreading out your buy orders so you don't get caught out. Some of the coins I wouldn't choose though. If it was me it would be $100 each on bitcoin, iota, eth, ripple and monero.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kyber ICO on: December 08, 2017, 03:07:21 PM
It's good to see Kyber starting to move price wise but I'm surprised we haven't seen $2 yet. I'm sure once the devs release something tangible this thing will explode upwards.
