I use MEW/Parity for casual transactions and tokens but if you want real security use a Ledger Nano S, it's amazing.

All of these dentist coins, I mean what the hell. Why does a dentist need a blockchain, what a stupid idea and ICO proposal.

I think Tezos is going to blow up in 2018. I'm going to predict $20+ as my initial long term target but the future is very bright.

GAS is so overpriced, if it's too expensive to do smartcontracts on NEO then no ones going to use it. GAS needs to be cheap for the ecosystem to work.

Bitcoin will always remain but I do think alts will have a future, especially ones that have completely different architecture like IOTA.

Some ICO's drop massively once they hit the exchange, and others grow massively. I would say part of it is how big their bounty campaign is, as most people from the bounty will be selling there coins ASAP.

My friend has some EOS, such a bad investment, just keeps going down and down. Luckily he didn't put much into it but still a waste.

Does not make sense to mine on a phone and never will. The only thing that I would consider 'mining' on a phone will be IOTA's Jinn processor when it's integrated into phones and required for efficient POW.

Number one there needs to be a problem and the ICO/coin needs to solve it, but marketing definitely helps! Many bad ICO's have done well just because of their marketing. ETH has partly done so well because of marketing.

I would say about 85% of all ICO's fall into category 1 and 2. Quite hard to find a legit ICO. What's funny is how even the bad ones still pump once they hit the exchanges!

What's peoples buy target for OmiseGo? It does feel overpriced and was such a hyped coin. Not sure it's worth the hype TBH..

|

I'm glad some of these places are banning ICO's. Some are complete trash and pure scams. It's bringing money in to the space but this ICO craze might blow up.

I think Ripple will keep growing as more and more banks sign on. So Ripple, IOTA, ETH, Walton are good to hodl.
|
|
|
Although Litecoin doesn't offer anything new in terms of specification, it has a good community and now that Charlie Lee is back updates are happening quicker and hype is up. I don't have any at the moment, maybe if they drop a bit.

BTC is king. ETH likes to think it's the latest and greatest tech, but has already been surpassed by coins like IOTA with its no-fee architecture. Ethereum is only good for ICO's and we all know how that's going to end.

Been staking nicely recently and wallet has been very stable. Excited for the main release and for the project to grow

My top 5 picks would probably be: IOTA, Lisk, Walton, Tokes and Loopring. You could also get some Tezos but they are IOU trading at the moment on HitBTC.

I'd rather Ripple, even though it's not a true crypto if the banks are all getting behind it then it could continue to take off. Bit of a strange comparison though, there's loads of other coins i'd prefer.

ICO's are going mainstream, but cryptos themselves aren't needed much in the 1st world countries (yet) except for digital gold (bitcoin).

Upgraded fine, all running nicely. The backup wallet functionality is fixed too which is nice. Good job team
