I predict the price will roughly hit these highs for the following years.

2018 - $10,000
2019 - $20,000
2020 - $40,000

What are these prices based on? Nothing, just my best guess, and it's always fun to think about the future price. I think these predictions are optimistic but reasonable.

You only lose money when you sell. Equally you only gain money when you sell. Just because a portfolio is up 100%, it doesn't mean you have gained 100% unless you sell it. The same can be said for if a portfolio is down 50%. What I'm trying to say, is just hodl and be patient. Oh and don't buy s**t coins.

First of all, learn from your mistake. Don't sell all your BTC and never when these other coins are at all time highs. Secondly, just HODL them, they are bound to spike again one day, but this could be a year away. Hodl and sell them back to BTC in the future. All is not lost, yet.

Features - what does this crypto offer, what problems does it solve, why does it have value?
Team - do they have a competent team, do they have experience, do they have a strategy?
Price - has it pumped already, what is it's % of total crypto market cap, are their competitors?

That's pretty much how I look into each new coin I discover, and even old ones I come back to.

How you can trust a 'crypto' trader, who is actually trading CFD's on Etoro instead of trading real cryptos on exchanges baffles me. He is probably some punk that got in within the last 2 years and think's he's a pro. I wouldn't trust anyone claiming to be a 'crypto trader' on EToro.

Alts are the unknown, so there is more risk. That means potential incredible gains, but it also means there could be incredible losses. Just be careful and do your research before you put your money in!

I think Ledger Nano S or MyEthereumWallet (MEW) are the best. I've also used Parity which is good if you dont want to trust a website, but recently the same Parity devs created a smart contract bug which is concerning. MEW is great, just use the right site!

Haven't done much research, but I've heard that Bitcoin Gold have got their own premine already, so they have already ruined their own fork. If this is incorrect please correct me. I can't see it having any value over $100 and wouldn't be surprised it it's like $20 a coin. Anything can happen in crypto though, we'll see.

I agree that we don't know what will happen when the real tokens hit the market, but one think I want to point out is 5x from ICO price isn't crazy. All you have to do is look at some of the recent decent ICO coins that have hit exchanges.

I think if it hits the exchanges at $1 or so (2x), it will quickly rise up to the current $2-$3 range. It could also land on an exchange and trade at the current IOU price. It's a big ICO with a big idea.

This is a very good idea, since the Chinese bans the volume has mainly moved to Japan and they are getting into coins in a big way. I'm sure there will be a few gems from Japan soon.

I've got some coins that are down, but also have some that are doing well, it's all part of the game. Just hodl the alts that are going down and you'll be fine in the long run, they all pretty much spike upwards at some point. I also make sure I'm not overburdened with 1 single alt coin, put it this way if one coin went down 90%, my overall portfolio wouldn't be hit too hard.

Damn, I check Coinmarketcap every day so not sure how I missed this. I hold some Stratis and this is definitely the lowest I've seen it in a while. Not sure If I'll pick any up because I've got a little stash already. But can recommend this to others who are looking to dip into a new coin.

Don't know too much about Ark, but I've seen a few YouTubers recommending it a lot.

If you're new. Just remember you've got to be patient, with whatever coin you get. I would say hodl your Ark and whenever you get more money, invest in another coin.

If you don't think you can hodl for at least a year, then you shouldn't be investing.

Guys, I've been here for a while (2013) and let me tell you now: IT IS A SCAM.

According to their '1% a day on average' bot, if you invest $1000 now, in 2 years you will have $1,389,807.

Now without me having to explain all other reasons it's a scam (I don't have the time), please tell me how that is a REASONABLE and SUSTAINABLE investment.

It depends on the coin. If you've seen a coin drop 35% and it's close to its all time low compared to BTC, then buy. A good example is IOTA. Altcoins have so many variables, it's not like you buy all alts at the same time. Go on coinmarketcap and sort buy "% change 24 hours", some alts are up 50%, some are down 50%.

You've shown up to a party on a Saturday night at 10:30pm, sure everyone is tipsy and had a few drinks already, but there's plenty of time to grab a drink and enjoy the rest of the night.

It doesn't matter if coins are $5 already, if they go to $50 within 1-2 years, that's 10x. Just be smart and be patient.

I'm not saying it's a bad call, it could do well and return a nice profit. But when looking at it from a technical prospective it offers nothing new to the space and even the 'mining' on the phone is fake - look it up. It just seems very generic and not sure why people are getting that excited. Again, could do well, so not hating on it!

I would place my bets on Tezos. Enough money for tech/marketing, I think it can give ETH a run for its money. Check back end of next year.

I don't think there's anything valuable regarding Stellar, just pumps and dumps on it. I won't be picking any up.

When it's worth a fortune to keep some and cash the rest in to pay off mortgage and get some Vanguard.
