21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new projects. on: October 11, 2023, 01:38:53 PM
We can say that meme coin are a good choice but it has so much risks involved as particularly, and the project you had mentioned above we didn't hear. I think this is newly created project, here you will get different ideas from members.

That project may be his own if you check well. There are those who pretend alot in the name of asking for advice but do not need it. He sent links to the project instead of telling us the name and allow us do the research by ourselves. Am advising that those who want to invest should carry out research on it but if Op is truthfully seeking advice and he is not a team member of that project I will suggest he does research also.

Feel free to drop Your application right below and be the chosen one to be part of the best Bitcointalk Signature Campaign! Smiley

This is a long lasting campaign. But the problem with it is that it does not accept members below Hero and that scares members from applying. But why is it that it is always open for new applicants, always. I have not seen a time it was CLOSED or CFNP.

Lol, the most strange thread that i have seen in this month.
No one knows but what crypto future will be but everyone have a lot of hopes!

You got it well that no one knows what the future is for cryptocurrency but alot of us see it as bright. We judge the future by past events we have yesterday and what we have today. The exposure cryptocurrency have for years  is encouraging and promising. And as time goes on it will draw more attention to itself from those who are uninterested now.

26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn an apartment in a bear market on: October 05, 2023, 07:26:59 PM
Is it risk-free to buy BTC and ETH?

It is not risk free to invest in any of them. But it is better to limit the number of tokens you are putting your money on in order to limit your risk also. The fewer you have them the lesser your risk of exposure is. That is what he meant. Ok, you said about setting $130,000 to get an apartment. Is that renting or you are buying it out to own it because that is huge amount?
27  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: What else should we call this on: October 04, 2023, 03:44:05 AM

28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling by financial dependents. on: October 01, 2023, 06:07:06 PM
A family member reported to me that her eighteen years old son has started gambling. She is not worried that he is gaming but her problem is that he is a student that solely depends on her for everything he needs. Her fear is also that her son might start stealing from her if he has no access to the money he needs to gamble. My relative has even started suspecting that some money she feels was misplaced might have been stolen by her son.

I spoke to my nephew and he told me that he has never stolen from his mother to gamble. And he gambles with only his savings from his weekly stipend he receives from the family. And he won't gamble if he has no savings to do that. From my observation, he is a responsible gambler that is just enjoying the game and making a little money occasionally. The gambling age in my country is 18+, but his mother is insisting that he must stop. What will be your advice for this young boy?

He was careless for letting his mum find out. It does not show he is responsible. Someone is feeding you and taking care of all your needs but you are gambling away your little savings and you still let them to find out. It shows no respect to the mom. The mom has every right to be angry and can go ahead to withdraw the monetary allowances she makes to him. If he wants to gamble he should wait until he starts making his own money to stake. Saving from the money given to him is not his own money.

Nigeria at 63

We have all to succeed more than the level we are now but bad leadership have brought us backward, how can a country that export oil don't have her own refinery, the cost of living is practically trying to kill the living, it break my heart when our vote wasn't counted because we the good people of nigga wanted to make things right, but it wasn't meant to be.

All in all nigga for life.

My friend, dry your tears. Na so I weep for Naija too but I don sober up now. Those of them weh keep this country as e bi because of greed weh deh benefit them and their families, thunder weh go come from Asia go fire them all. As them no let our votes count in the last election na so God no go let them count when the history of men who helped this country back on track is written. There is no excitement anymore each year weh Oct 1 reach. When we deh grow up na event weh we deh look up to, the school match pass and other things. We deh celebrate am with rice and chicken self but that kind thing no deh again.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: September 30, 2023, 01:45:19 PM
So my question is, is the percentage of the rich gambling lower than the middle and lower class?
According to what have I researched on in the past, rich people gamble too. They are less in number than average and poor people, but they spend more.

No rich people who did not make his money from gambling goes into gambling, unless he is fighting depression and going through alot or he does it with his friends for fun sake. What rich people do is investment. If you doubt it, you can check those rich people who gamble and their lifestyle. And since the number of rich people in the world is smaller compared to poor people, it is expected that the percentage of gambling rich people will be smaller also.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk - December or January in Saudi Arabia on: September 30, 2023, 01:26:49 PM

We're all waiting for that fight to happen the card is on Fury to beat Ngannou, if Ngannou beats Fury the fight could be derailed, Fury can still fight Usyk but the momentum will be on Usyk's side, I'm following Ngannou's camp he is being trained by Mike Tyson and Ngannou is so serious on his training.

Fury should not take Ngannou lightly I have seen fights that should been cherry-picked fight in preparation for a big fight that turned out bad one case is what happened to Anthony Joshua, I don't want to see that scenario I feel that there should be an undisputed champion in the heavyweight in a four-belt era and both Fury and Usyk deserves that title.

Am also thinking with you that the Fury fight with Ngannou will be derailed. It is going to be an upset against the wish of bookmakers. How do we think that betting companies will allow Fury win it when it is obvious that many people will bet for him to win. It is going to be a very very easy way to win bets if that is allowed. Also since the bout is not a belt title fight and will not cause Fury anything he will not throw in all his strength to it so he does not sustain major injury that can weaken him against Usyk in a mouth watery titled fight of the century.

Am not going to bet on Fury to win. I will only watch it like WWE and its entertainment.
32  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: September 29, 2023, 04:20:40 PM
There's what you fail to understand.... They've got T/C's and that should be Thier modus operandi..yeahh? Anything outside that isn't accountable to them... There's no casino that'll hide Thier KYC preference and remind of it when you wanna withdraw... They won't just bother you or make it compulsory at the start,...but ofcourse that gives everyone the privilege to think of boycotting their rules, that's also exactly where the problem comes...

Sandra 🧑‍🦰

What you said about no casino hiding its KYC policy may not be completely true. We know there are bad operators among the casino operators and this bad ones can hide their TC in very lengthy written articles because they know that many customers do not like to read such article to the end. No one want to waste time struggling to read things that are tiny. Those who do not read TC will not know what is there and what to expect from the casino, whether there is a KYC or not and that can make them conclude that there was never a KYC from the beginning.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Youth Gambling on: September 29, 2023, 06:28:58 AM
Among young people is a result of the availability of gambling alternatives, such as sports betting and online gambling. Gambling disorders can have long-term effects on a person's ability to complete their education and choose their future, and young individuals may be particularly susceptible to acquiring these illnesses

There are young gamblers who will tell you they were able to see themselves through school from the win they got from gambling. Not every young gamblers has a negative effect of gambling. Everything should be done in moderation but when we neglect that warning, we pay the price of addiction. Gambling is not that bad a thing if we can know when to restrict our involvement. Those who gamble with money they will regret loosing are the ones who should stop gambling. If they continue gambling after series of loses it will put alot of weight on their health and that is a dangerous thing.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is horse racing so unpopular here and a bit of extra feedback on: September 28, 2023, 04:48:54 PM
- Do you honestly think running a prediction game (run with my own funds) would attract genuine interest in this and not just shitposting quota?
- Would let's say 1-2 mbtc (per event, about one or two per month) be enough for people here to at least open a few links and take a look at what hoses are running and what their timeform is?
- Is anyone here actually gambling on horse racing?

You never can say whose interest you may revive until you try a reward thing. Cash reward will wake up interest and get you more participants in the horse racing prediction thread. It will catch interest quickly if you can get regular competitions and also reward top beters who get the predictions right. Horse racing is an elite sport, the same with golf. Not many can afford a horse for such competition and that can be a reason why interest in it is dying off. We do not get to see them regularly aired as we see games in football, basketball or tennis. I used to enjoy watching horse racing on television as a kid until I discovered it was no longer getting regular airtime as before. Your suggestion to revive interest in this sport is good.
35  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Pidgin no mean abbreviations. on: September 28, 2023, 06:45:00 AM
This thread dey very funny. One tin wey we must understand be say the pidgin wey Dem dey speak or write for pH dey different from the pidgin wey Dem dey speak and write for Enugu or Kano.

But I sha understand wetin you mean. One person pidgin wey dey really hard me to understand na Agbe. Him own pidgin go university. Grin. Him dey write Betta BY pidgin. I hail you.

On a serious note sha, make we try adjust as the OP don point am out so that we go fit caryy everybody along.

Those people weh deh like stress others for their writing make una sit up. Tinubu don stress us already, make una no come add to am.

Every bounty managed by a newbie account is a big risk. Members who have stayed more than a year in this forum and applying to this bounty should know this. Ask the manager to escrow funds with a reputable escrow in the forum for assurance that there is payment guaranty.

39  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] Zenland Signature (+Avatar) Campaign - Up To $50 Per Week! 🌐 on: September 23, 2023, 04:35:06 PM
Bro, it is a common practice among some hunters to switch from one campaign to the other seeking higher payment while others struggle to secure a spot. You Shouldn't concern yourself so much about it.

But that is not good. There is a discussion on it somewhere Why do members switch campaigns always? It should not be so. At least some people believe it is wrong to jump from one campaign to another while it has not ended and that can cause managers stress.
