21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to promote information about projects? on: January 24, 2024, 07:04:29 PM
Hi everyone, I'm asking people with experience in running crypto projects. Where should I publish information about my project to be seen by interested people? For example, if I just make posts on Twitter, they will be seen by a couple of people at most and the probability of a response is very low. The situation is the same in other social networks. With advertising is also a problem, because there is just an unrealistic number of fraudulent projects and most likely the result will also be about zero because people immediately consider everything a scam and the advertising itself is also expensive. Airdrops and so on is the same thing. People will get tokens and just sell. In general, as I understand it, people without connections and big money just don't stand a chance.
Sadly the latter statement seems to be true and that's the reality we are in but that doesn't mean that being diligent and having a small budget isn't worth it, you just need to try at the very least. Starting small doesn't mean it will fail, you just need to utilize whatever resources you have right now and just be consistent.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Kaspa actually Bitcoin 2.0? on: January 23, 2024, 09:58:17 PM
They have maximum total supply, like Bitcoin
PoW like Bitcoin
Halvings like Bitcoin.

10 blocks per second on Testnet vs. 1 block per 10 minutes on Bitcoin

You can scan QR code. In 0.1 second block is created. In 1 second 10 confirmations. And you don't even need these 10 blocks. Because if several blocks are created at the same time - they all are added. So if you get into a block. This block can't be cancelled by other blocks.

Testnet. 10bps
http://104.11.218.91:8080/

Mainnet. 1bps
https://explorer.kaspa.org/

Bitcoin. But a real-time method of payment. What do you think?
There has been numerous copycat saying this already but it dies out over the years but Bitcoin remains at the top. There's nothing like Bitcoin 2.0 because there will only one Bitcoin, yeah that was the term they use just to promote the coin but they will remain Kaspa. It may have surge in price and we may see it as a trend but for me that's not another Bitcoin.
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 23, 2024, 09:43:36 PM
Embiid is really out there trying to prove to people that it wasn't just dumb luck that he won the MVP but he is really the MVP of the league as well. Last year, when he won, a lot of people said that Jokic deserved the MVP but because he already won it twice, it didn't felt like it would make sense to give him a third one in a row, so that is why Embiid won and not because he deserved it.

But dude just scored 70 points, that is a lot of points, not many people has broken 70 point barrier, only a few has achieved it, even though there are many people who did 60+ games, the amount stops very quickly when it reaches to 70 points and above (and only two people did 80 and more). So, it is really a great game to watch, amazing highlights.
And what's interesting on it is that it was the date as well when Kobe scored 81 points against the Raptors before. I think he made it a coincidence that he would score great on that day as well to break it or just drop a franchise record. Well, I think he could won the MVP for the regular season again for this I guess.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does it looks responsible as woman telling husband you gamble? on: January 20, 2024, 05:45:23 PM
Quite sometimes now i have been active in the gambling section and have pick interest to start gambling i have gone through lots of material in both the forum, i have seen that I can control my emotion as well as controlling my finance this includes;

  • Not involving myself in a revenge gambling
  • Not chasing profit after lost
  • Not involving oneself into compulsive gambling
  • Not solely replying on every game to be 100 percent correct
  • Not hoping that gamble is guaranteed
  • Not gambling with all my income or salaries
  • Among all, gambling for fun and not to enrich oneself

The point is my husband doesn't know that i have been secretly gambling and involving myself with gambling discussions and the rest, So, this morning when i woke something in me keeps telling me i should let him know to understand my involvement  to practice gambling.

Does this worth telling him or not please i need you collective ideas.
I think that would be worth it, surely a guy can understand as long as you don't gambling what is meant to be for future use. You're in marriage and for sure you'll understand that everything you do is surely involve the other half, that's what my parents doesn't tired to tell me. Gambling or not, opening something will mean respect and honesty.
The question why is that, why would a woman that is already married decided to gamble? What would have triggered her interest to indulge in gambling? This not a bad ethics and I would never support that. If it is in a case of a single mother, I could concluded that she needed money to take care of her child. In a case when she has an husband, it looks absurd and not a good lifestyle. Society sees women gambling as irresponsible especially in a region where their is no much of internet influence. Anyone can decide to do whatever they like but not in a case where they wife would be gambling and the husband does not know about it.
There are instances that it has been with her when she was single then decided to quit when got married but that wouldn't be erased instantly and that urge her to gamble again. Or, just for leisure purposes considering her (the OP) seems to be in control of what she does. If it's online gambling I can attest that even my close relatives do it and they're just plain housewives, nothing much to do in free time seems to be their way to pass the time or to try their luck.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Three gems in my view on: January 20, 2024, 03:25:58 PM
Sui, Arbitrum, optimism I guess you guys are fimilar with there 3 altcoins, which are less then 1year old, launched in 2023. When i track their performance i feel wonder cause they are owning layer-two blockchain and their growth speed is very higher then others good Altcoins. I found these altcoins Valuable for holding. What is your opinion about these altcoins? Are you holding any of these or have any plan to buy?
I feel like Arbitrum could be a top 20 coin in the bull run as well as optimism. I think there a way too many Layer2 missing here for example INJ, TIA, and SEI, these tokens would probably be reaching 10-11 figure market cap. Not holding it, I'd choose Ethereum over them considering rumors that ETF for Ethereum could be next.

27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be a hope restorer if we go about it wisely! on: January 20, 2024, 01:48:50 PM
Gambling can be a life saver too for it's not as bad as non-gamblers portrays it. To all gamblers' when you get lucky make good use of your gambling win do not chase for double portion.
For those who wins huge but to those who won at breakeven or at loss that's a miserable thing I guess. It will only just restore hope if you win or you win and use it on ways to get you more money but if not, that's a given to be at loss once again hoping he could win another. If opportunity knocks open the door wisely.
28  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin, pangalawa sa pinakamalaking ETF. Nilagpasan ang Silver on: January 19, 2024, 09:58:12 PM
JUST IN: #Bitcoin becomes the second largest ETF commodity in the US, surpassing silver.

Heto na nga, wala pang ilang linggo pero ang taas na agad ng rank ng Bitcoin Spot ETF sa US at ang laking pera ang dumaloy at naungusan pa nga ang Silver.

Source: Bitcoin Becomes 2nd Largest ETF Commodity in the US, Passes Silver

Grin
29  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who is buying like me on: January 19, 2024, 09:47:28 PM
Bitcoin Etf approval brought joy to our faces, yes another win for bitcoin, then how much more would the next halving bring,  right now all I'm doing Is buying, I was DCAING gently before, but right now no one hold me, no more gentle buys, cause right now I'm pumped, I'm dancing for the bull run, I wasn't part of the last halving cause just recently started my bitcoin journey and I can't wait to brag about beign one of the next bull run partakers. Start buying 🦾
Good thing for you mate to feel that way and I think that's just too relevant, up only for this year. Indeed DCA is the best play right now and I don't doubt that we may get a good discount sooner or later for Bitcoin. People may tend to wait for the 30k but that's normal for a bull run to take a little detour.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Higher and lower risks in gambling is the gamblers choice. on: January 19, 2024, 09:35:08 PM
And the lower risks you takes on your predictions is the smaller the game odds which you may demand higher stakes to secure an appreciative winning. Although there is still no assurance of winning here for winning in gambling is strictly game of luck.
Low odds is way more appreciative to win but you'd likely to lose more if your prediction isn't right. If you're talking about sports betting then I will contradict your statement because it's likely a combination of luck and your knowledge towards that sports or player. You may be lucky at some point but knowing the sports, the team or the player, it's sometimes certain if you bet on lower odds.
When it comes to gambling, I've always have that resolve that it's mostly all about luck. The experience and knowledge of a gambler is without doubt important but I'll always gamble with the mindset that luck is the main factor that'll determine my fate in gambling.

Low odds have more winning rate probabilities but when a gambler isn't lucky, there are still chances that he'll still lose his stakes even when he chose low odds. So my advice to gamblers is that they should do whatever works for them wether higher risks or lower risks.
Yeah we have different perspective on it and it's not that wrong if we believe that way. I've been thinking that way when I was new to crypto gambling but got different view when I already tried sports betting because it's really opens new possibilities that you don't have to rely just on pure luck.

32  Local / Pilipinas / Re: SEC has now approved 11 spot bitcoin ETF on: January 19, 2024, 02:56:56 PM

34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING DISORDER on: January 18, 2024, 09:40:22 PM
How can one control the uncontrollable urge to keep gambling despite the toll it takes on once life.

It's getting worse every day. I'm extremely depressed I have thoughts of unaliving myself more often, some times I feel the betting companies manipulate people spiritually to get them addicted where be playing without plans and strategy. Once a bet place get cut, there is this uncomfortable urge to quickly book another one with the plans of recovering the first money lost but it will end up cutting again.
It's not the casinos or the bookies was at fault, ourselves as well can be counted as one to be at fault here. If you don't have control over how you react on certain things like betting then you need to find something else to be fond of, maybe gambling is not your thing. It will only get worse and you'll be broke more than ever, better stop and touch some grass for awhile.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best sources for discovering high-quality airdrops? on: January 18, 2024, 09:13:24 PM
Seeking reliable airdrops can be tricky, especially with the risk of scams. Recently, I've delved into blast.io, where participants deposit 0.1 ETH, receive blast airdrop tokens, and reclaim their ETH with added APY. Similarly, y24.io, launching on BNB chain, employs a resembling tactic: deposit 0.1 BNB, complete tasks, and earn up to 1000 y24 tokens daily. Given blast's success, I'm inclined toward y24's potential. However, as y24 is new, I seek guidance. The profits in blast were notable, and I anticipate similar returns with y24. Expert suggestions are highly valued here.
check out for more detail

link: https://y24.io/airdrop
I haven't even heard of this on Twitter, how much they raised? Sorry to burst your bubble but I think this one isn't worth the time and risk and tbh most people here are doubting links being shared so better don't post it as it can be clicked easily. You're asking something yet you surprise us with a shill, nice try. To anyone, who's curious on where to find quality threads about airdrops just use twitter.
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The PCSO Lotto is shrouded in doubt due to the picture of the winner shown on: January 18, 2024, 08:40:11 PM
This picture below with the woman holding a check is the winner of "P43 million lotto 6/42 jackpot prize on Wednesday, Jan. 17.".

That's almost $800k if converted in USD.

<snip>

As we can see in the picture, it appears to be just an edited version, casting doubt on whether there was a genuine winner or if corrupt officials inside are attempting to claim the victory using that picture as evidence.

What's your thought about that picture, is it real or edicted?

How about in your area? How reputable are your state-sponsored casinos?
This is really an edited image even if you zoom it out, those lines are way obvious even an experts would agree that it is. It was known that PCSO has lot of corrupt employees and I don't think that they'll be discouraged for this maybe they even steal more money than this one considering there has been lot of controversy before that even involved huge sum of money.
37  Economy / Gambling / Re: How Crypto casino market themselves? on: January 18, 2024, 08:21:24 PM
I am curious to know who are their targeted audience and at what age group. In general gambling people target countries like thailand more but probably this is not the case with crypto. Do they target nerds or total dumbs? How efficient they are between their marketing tactics?
Of course they're targeting those who they think will gamble, there are lot of ways they do it especially now on social media and those data being sold. If you don't know that if you're clicking some gambling type of thing you'll notice sooner or later you'll be targeted with ads containing most of gambling stuffs, this is because data is being analyzed and you're being targeted on it.

Here in forum you'll see those signature below someone's profile when they post, that's how they market themselves here.
38  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whenever ORDI and SATS are pumping we get crazy miner transaction fees... why on: January 18, 2024, 07:57:46 PM
So I wanted to do a transaction today and I look and again I need to pay something crazy like 200 sat/vbyte. Its also on the weekend. I look and of course there is some mempool spam going on.

Head over to Coinmarketcap and the only two coins that are pumping are ORDI and SATS. I noticed that whenever there is a mempool spam these are pumping and I am wondering how its related? What does transaction fees have to do with these coins going up slightly in value? I tried reading how Ordinals work but I am very confused since its nothing like regular mining or ERC20 tokens.
Just like what the dev was saying, these inscriptions was totally just a spam to the network and it needs to be removed but I wonder how they will do it. There's no consensus that has been made lately regarding how it will be managed accordingly and I think we may have to endure it but I'm still hoping that there would be a solution to it.
39  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage - how to do it? on: January 17, 2024, 09:59:22 PM
These days I think that's not profitable anymore, you could just end up losing on fees especially if you're not using bots. It was a loophole back then but I think exchanges already know it and they are likely to take advantage on it too, so for those who aren't that diligent it's probably not for them to do arbitrage.

Could this be a sign that the Raptors are waving the white flag? This will be big for the Pacers aiming for the "win now".
https://www.espn.ph/nba/story/_/id/39330081/sources-pacers-acquire-pascal-siakam-trade-raptors-pelicans

This was posted recently and I guess Indiana is building something. Did the Pacers really get something from this trade or the Raptors made some incredible trade considering those 3 first round picks plus Bruce Brown who I think is in his prime as well?
