21  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CONFESSION TIME: I SOLD TOO EARLY on: December 22, 2020, 09:54:02 PM
I sold my funds in binance when bitcoin was 10K level. I sold it because there was a Super typhoon that hit our province in my country, Philippines. We were hit by 3 super typhoons and to be able to support my family needs, I had to sacrifice my trading funds. In fact, I had to made a loan as well due to the devastation made of super typhoons. However, I still manage to make some money in trading and recovers slowly what I lose last time. Right now, even I have small amount of capital in trading. I am lucky because I doubled up my funds since bitcoin went 20K above level. I also rid the GRS and GRT pumped.

23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport betting site offering bets on the Covid-19 pandemic. Worst site now. on: December 22, 2020, 02:14:01 PM
Should we say having fun is against the ethics of gambling? Coronavirus has been used by comedians around the world likewise our musicians, even some film industries have began their stories about the said pandemic, this is just a way to Cushing the negative effects of this ravaging deadly virus. Although, this is personal opinion and shouldn't be use for crucification of my view. They're just getting their gamblers inline to having fun with the covid-19.

Well, I understand your take; joking with the coronavirus should be seen as normal thing and not that; they're saying it doesn't exist among us or is a fiction. This is just a means of relaxation for these gamblers to have fun with the covid-19.
Maybe, it is the time that we use covid19 for fun. Because almost a whole year, we fear in covid 19. Atleast, we can manipulate it by means of playing. However, it might be a serious case since this pandemic is treated seriously by authority and doctors. Putting it in a gambling game might give a bad impact to them specially when we talk about the statistics. No one can also be relaxed to play a game which took away millions of life.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk on Bitcoin: "Bitcoin is almost as bs as fiat money" on: December 21, 2020, 11:29:37 PM
Maybe he's trolling again.

Look at the description of his profile; "Former CEO of Dogecoin".

He's tweeting about Dogecoin too which made the pump quickly. Just a few hours ago, he has tweets about bitcoin. We knew it that Elon is for bitcoin and his tweets are always favorable to bitcoin.
Maybe he wants to test the reaction of market players. He wanted to know if his troll may affect the bitcoin price. As we all know that Elon Musk has many followers. He can manipulate the mind of his supporters by just a few click. I don't know if what his side is pro or cons to bitcoin. But whatever what his side is, I don't care since I am not fan of him. I admire for his aeronatics stuffs but I never admire his thoughts about cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is better than fiat.

27  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC $24k another new all time high on: December 20, 2020, 02:27:06 PM
Not to be pessimistic but I'm afraid now when the hype ends. A pump like this will always end and no one knows when and how low will that be. I'm just hoping that it won't go below $20k or worse than that. Many people are being hyped now like 2017 and I hope they've already learned their lesson.
Actually, this time is the most exciting yet scary moment for bitcoin. We don't have no idea if when and where it gonna move. Either it goes down or up tomorrow or now. Who knows? As long as we took advantage the current market, there will be no regrets when decline will come. A lot of traders have learnt already, I know that only few will take risk to follow the FOMO. Many of us have already experienced specially when there was crashed in the market happened in the past. 20K dollars below is a sign that the trend is going to fade. However, it is too far yet to come.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Christmas on: December 20, 2020, 08:50:00 AM
Feliz navidad
Feliz navidad
Feliz navidad
Prospero aņo y felicidad...

Of a truth, Christmas already came (very) early for Bitcoin.

YES... It could be best gift ever for anyone.
But honestly, gifting someone Bitcoin who isn't interested in it isn't the best of strategies in spreading the awareness. You can only treasure what you value. Even Satoshi isn't Santa Claus.
Actually, you can't send a bitcoin for an uninterested person. Since he has no interest, I believe that he will not take time to install software wallets or make a wallet. Just like to my mother who don't want to use gadgets too much because she is already old. I can't give her bitcoin because she doesn't know how to use it.

Yes, it is too early Christmas gift for bitcoin but let us be mindful that anytime, crash will land in market.

30  Economy / Economics / Re: people stop complain about economy and ccovid on: December 19, 2020, 11:54:37 PM
I think many people don't talk too much about the covid virus and the world economy because they are tired of talking about it and the world has realized that the economy is collapsing so that many people just keep quiet and try to live as much as possible to stay healthy and not be exposed to the virus that is deadly, I hope the world economy and health conditions will recover soon.
It only means that media is affecting the people's mind. When covid 19 break outs, articles and news were talked too much in virus. There are instances that the news for all programs and social media focused only in pandemic. That is why many people freak out and scared in virus. The daily growth rate chart of cases, death and recoveries are giving also fear to people to go out and leave the houses. But look what happens now, covid 19 news and articles slowly fading. People in my place goes outside even without a mask. Media influences the mind of people, they can control us. I do not say that covid is not real. Virus is deadly but the most deadliest is the media and government. They manipulate the people based upon what they want.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin This year & Next year. on: December 19, 2020, 11:32:28 PM
Some questions cross my mind about Bitcoin right now....!

You know Bitcoin has exceeded the ATH level in 2017, and is trading today at the level of more than $20k, meaning: roughly Bitcoin has found its current highest price peak.

However, I started to think Bitcoin could be over $25k between January and March 2021, it could happen because now it has broken the 20k level.

My question....!
1. Could it be that after this Bitcoin fell even lower, as was the case in 2017 and 2018 ago.
Rose to the highest price at the end of 2017 and fell back to the low of 2018.
2. Or is it possible that Bitcoin will stay at the lowest $20k level and will continue to $.....!

What do you think after this incident bitcoin passed through ATH.....! Go up to the next or vice versa.
Speaking is not based on predictions, only seeing from existing experiences.
I have seen a lot of positivity in comments here about bitcoin price. However, what happened last 2017 bull run and crashed might happen again. After a long bull run, expect to have a retracement. Maybe, bitcoin can go down at 9K level but it never go back in 3K level since there are many supports there. But what will happen is not important anymore, let just be focus on current market and take advantage to all the opportunities that market gives to us right now.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of bounty hunters on: December 18, 2020, 11:46:24 PM
In fact, from the existence of a bounty program held by a project, of course this will provide great benefits for project owners if they use the services of bounty hunters as a promotional medium. But what can I do, bounty hunters are always blamed. whereas not a few of the hunters also invest in the projects they are promoting
Bounty hunters are blaming because we dump the coins we earned in bounty. The fact that the allocation for bounty is not 5% above, they should not be fear in dumping. Specially, if the project is really promising. And bounty hunters are not dumb to dump the coins if we can sell it above our expected price. They just made it a blame so that they can delay the payment. This is the reason why I do not anymore have interest in bounty. I just want only to spend my time in trading and gambling. With that, I am earning what I want to have at the end of the day.
33  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to get VIP Signals? on: December 18, 2020, 11:11:24 PM
I have a question for you mate, what is your end goal with joining a signals group? Whats the main purpose, like how will you use it?
Simply, the OP wants to earn an easy money. Joining paid signal groups only mean that you are not comfortable with your strategies. You have to join other ideas and depend upon their strategies in order to earn in trading. I think it is only good when you have money to be paid in groups, but if you are a regular trader who want to earn. I believe, you will think that it is wastes to pay for vip signals. It only works when you have paid groups which are reliable. But if not, you only waste time and money.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin transaction fees be too high in the future? on: December 18, 2020, 07:32:45 PM
I think transaction fees will increase if the bitcoin price continue growing in upcoming days cause the current demand of bitcoin, indicate to increase the price more. Although there are some wallet which allow you to set low transaction fee but takes lot of time for transactions done.people can use those by their need.although miners never satisfied with transactions fee! hope it will be made lower by the help of upcoming technology
Just like what happened last 2017 wherein bitcoin demand was high. Transaction fees are increasing because of the demand and low of its supply. As we all know that bitcoin was halved in the 1st quarter of 2020. When it will continuously moving up, expect to have a dollar/s fee in your transaction which is really hurting the bitcoin users. If we want to slower down our fees, we will move it to the slowest transation rate per minute. But I think 2 sat/byte seems to be fast today since I had made a quick transaction this day.

36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your BTC for $100 000, and never go back to the game again? on: December 17, 2020, 10:31:55 PM
Hmm...
Actually I am ready to sell my bitcoin when it goes 40K usd. I already set my target between 30k to 40k usd (if that happens). But as of now, I sell 50% of my bitcoin when it went 23500 dollars. So that, I have no regret anymore. If I am going to sell it on 100K, I will always rebuy again when it goes down. But I am sure that it will not goes that price far as of now. We have to wait for several years before we can see the precious of bitcoin. 100K usd is really a high price. Yet, there is no impossible in btc.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 17, 2020, 01:01:38 PM

But Finally we will be able to see him in FIBA with other popular players in the Philippines.

Do you know the current line up of the FIBA? I think I read somewhere that most of the players are not coming from the PBA.

Kai is tall actually but as a center, he needs to be more physical inside, but to compare with Fajardo, I guess let's just witness on what his performance when he will play for the country.
I wonder if Kai will become the next Junemar Fajardo because of his height. However, he still need to become more tough inside the court. But I know that as his age added, his body will grow and become more tough. As the new generation of Fiba players in Philippines, I think being dependent in Kai should be given. He has already an experience and training outside the country. For sure, his international experience will bring him more confident and improved his skills in basketball.
38  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin BREAKS $20,000! - Binance on: December 16, 2020, 02:52:25 PM
I already anticipate this post. Yipee! I already watch live on how bitcoin aggressively surpass its highest price. Breaking 20K usd seems to be a glorious day for bitcoin. Now, the pressure is on. Demand of buyers are totally outnumbered the sellers. Let us all welcome a new highest price of bitcoin. I shocked when I saw my bitcoin in binance jumping 6 percent today. I am glad on how bitcoin moves, it is an early celebration for us traders of crypto.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You want DEFI? Go Oldy on: December 16, 2020, 02:10:58 PM
Not bad, fresh DeFi projects will be too risky because scammers have already gotten their eye on the use case, most successful DeFi projects presently have been around since a year or two now, if you want to invest I suggest checking the date they've been in development or existence
There are some projects who fake their existence. A lot of projects I had encountered already that told they started a decade ago and presented it on their website yet it was a fraud. The existence of defi projects for me is just like the hype of ico. They are just good at first specially that defi is really a noisy think in the environment of crypto nowadays. But all of the trends are decaying, so I guarantee you guys that tomorrow or in few weeks, they will fade again. Defi is the fresh news today, let us take advantage what it brings to the community until it despair.
40  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Best Time to sell ? on: December 16, 2020, 01:03:21 PM
It depends totally on you and how much patience you can endure because anything that you have invested in it is bound to grow because of growing population of the earth and hence the longer you hold your investments, the greater is your profit in the long term. If you bought bitcoins in 2013 and sold it in 2016, then you would have made a great profit but the people who sold it in 2017 were in much bigger profits. Similarly when cryptocurrency price will touch the moon then the longest holding investors will have the biggest rewards.
However, if the price touch the bottom your capital will gone. Trading is a matter of risk management. We don't just buy and hold btc or altcoins, we have to think wisely on how can we ride in the market. Most of us will inspire for those people who have hold bitcoin and sold it when it moved up, but the real scenario in trading is that, you don't want to see your capital crashing time by time. Therefore, you will make a certain changes in your trades which may lead you in devastation or safehaven. Anyway, I am agree to you that the longest holding investors are those winners when the price landed in moon.
