262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm scared of ethereum gas fee on: September 23, 2020, 03:42:38 PM
What if ether price goes up to more than $2000 dollars.. How will people or new cryptocurrency users be able to cope with the gas fee. As I can see so far, the current gas price has been giving people tough time. I remember when we used to use 2 gwei for gas price.
I don't think the Ethereum network congestion can reduce with time.
Due to the congested network of ethereum, many coins wanted to beat it. Many coins such as elrond can cater a transaction similar to ethereum with low cost. It is really scary to see how much ethereum gas we need just to transact our eth or other ERC coins. In fact, it is more high when there is an increase with ethereum price. But when ethereum changes their gas fee or even lowered it. Many people would love to transact using eth.

I also notice that I only notice few new topics or threads being posted in this forum. I know some people who stop visiting the forum because of the merit system but merit system also help increase the quality of a person's posting ability and reduce spam posts. Well, it's to them if those lurkers decide to create an account here.
Thats because some users got lazy already to post or create new ideas. Merit system cant be blamed instead. I know merit system is harsh, but it make some post become more quality as users tend to aim their post being merited. Lately Ive noticed too that only same person creating unique and useful topics and also they are the one who contributed too in the past. So rare to see new people posting a good one.

Actually, there are still new users which are good in creating quality posts. But when it comes to a unique and helpful post specially when it comes to technical, old users contributed a lot. It is not just lazy to post or create new ideas. I think lack of knowledge and almost all good posts were shared already are the factors why some new user cannot make new posts.

Regarding in invitation, it might be a good impact for bitcointalk because it spreads the idea of cryptocurrency. However, it just make the forum more mess since many newbies will ask or spam the whole forum, which we know that many users here don`t want.
264  Economy / Economics / Re: Big in Japan: giant Gundam robot makes its first moves in Yokohama on: September 23, 2020, 11:52:38 AM
Gundam: One of my favourite anime in Television when I was a child. I just can`t how Japan made a real-life size robot. It just shows how Japanese love anime and they really utilize their technology. Despite of having a pandemic, they still can create this one. Anyway, Japan already proved to the world that they are advanced in technology and they can create robots which I think in future would become AI robots. Let just think that the anime before can be now in reality. That is really tall and awesome.

Trust the Japanese to make things weird.

They are weird yet they are also inventors.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YFMoonshot Possibility to Scam Hunters on: September 22, 2020, 11:59:44 PM
Few days ago YFMoonshot bounty telegram group deleted. Their bounty finished date is 19 September and they locked the thread today which is before the deadline. I asked their telegram that why thread is locked but they kicked me out from the group and banned me. Their behaviour looks like suspicious. I think they can scam bounty hunters.
Due to the rampant movement of farming tokens right now, I am really convinced that there will exist a copy-cat project which only wants to fraud the people specially investors and hunters. It is really suspicious to me when I first glanced that campaign. And I think it is the nature of crypto, to create a new hype which will attract us to join. It is good that you already posted it here to guide other participant for a possible scam.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: THE MOST PAINFUL DAY IN MY BETTING CAREER on: September 22, 2020, 03:26:39 PM
It just good to say that until now, I did not yet lose 20% in gambling. Usually,I gamble my money to the games which I afford to lose. However, I have still experience in losing money in a day when I played because I have a problem in my family. I was depressed and the only thing I can do in my room was betting in different games. Yet, I wan unlucky because I lose 300 usa that day.

Conclusion, I already understand why we must not let our emotions ruin our game play. Everything that we do because of anger will have a bad result as well.

I think people once again remembered that Nuggets team has great players
Everyone is starting to recognize how good Nuggets is. We can't just neglect how good they are. The closeness of their game 2 against Lakers made everyone wants to see more from them.

But the last remaining seconds made a good opening for Anthony Davis which made him shot comfortably and take the lead to end the game into the hands of Lakers. Well done and good defense has been made.
The underdog team before is literally a barrier to a super team. Although there is a lucky shot made by Anthony Davis, we can`t deny how Nuggets strive for a win in Game 2. I hope that they can extend more the series. I am not really fun of these two teams but I like the way they eager for a championship.

Meme:
"When you see your long time friend who loaned 0.1BTC at you.
Loaner: who are you?"

The ending is quiet funny for me. It was literally a fly by for JR Smith. Just kidding! COngrats LA fans.

269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of social media channels on: September 21, 2020, 02:56:13 PM
Success of a certain project can be actually measured through its social medias like FB page, Twitter, and Telegram. The more active their social medias the more successful the project could become and it is only for those specific stuffs you've mentioned. It is like a virtual community where you investors can track all the news and updates regarding the project.
Nope, not at all. I don`t think that the successful projects can be determined in social medias. There are many projects I have been joined, invested and worked which were active at the social medias but later on died. Social media has a role to empower and advertise the project specially if it needs investors but being active in it is not an assurance that the project is good. MVP and development really matters in a project plus their good partnerships. Aside from that, it just being hyped and tackled all around in media in order to have a noise that project.
270  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Information] Ancient Cryptography on: September 21, 2020, 07:34:31 AM
Actually I already made this cipher information. Here is the link where I also posted it in this section, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5249739.msg54464190#msg54464190

Anyway, it is good that you become interested about Ancient Cryptography or Ciphers. It may unlock our own knowledge about how can we hid and secure our passwords against a potential hacking. In this case, we can make a more secured password that cannot break easily. Imagine, if you can encrypt a certain message into different ciphers then no one can easily break it. But, cipher is easily be broken in our generation due to the fact that they can be easily decrypted using digital apps. That is why hashes are more secured and used in cryptocurrency because hash are more safe and unbreakable algorithms.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Managers and Shit projects on: September 20, 2020, 11:52:09 PM
It is true we must do research that in order to determine good projects, but not all bounty hunters have the ability to analyze projects well.
Especially for newbies who often choose wrong projects. Bounty Managers should not arbitrarily choose projects, so I think Bounty Managers
should check first whether the projects are feasible or not to be promoted. So bounty hunters won't waste time promoting shit projects.

Aside from the bounty hunter doing the research and analysis, bounty manager should feel responsible on selecting bounty projects.  They are the first line of investigation when they accept and close a deal from a project that wanted a bounty campaign.  I believe bounty manager should be held responsible if ever  a bounty campaign turned scam.
However, they just being blind when the campaign turned into scam. Many bounty managers even before who are washing their hands right after the project becomes scam. I don`t know when will the system of bounty campaigns will change. It is really a disappointment to all of us here that no bounty campaigns nowadays are paying enough to the hunters. If there, it is the weekly campaigns which paid in btc. Only few managers I have seen who are concerned in their bounty hunters, most of good and efficient managers have gone already.

I hope someday, bounty campaigns will become good as what it was before. But I think it will never happen again.
272  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Source Application - dkbit98 on: September 20, 2020, 10:42:49 PM
The instruction is to quote 10 merit worthy post not to post the links 😜

I have seen some members posting links instead of quotes before, and nobody reads huge posts with bunch of text in foreign language.
It looks cleaner this way and it takes less space, but if all the big boys say I need to edit the post then I may consider doing it. Wink
It is really more clean and neat to post links instead of quoting the message. In fact, some of the users who will read your application will not read some of the quoted messages. More than that, I am happy that you run as merit source in this forum. I have seen a lot of quality post which deserved to get some merit that you are given. You deserve to be on merit source and hoping you can help the forum as well as the members who are struggling to get merits even they contribute a lot in this forum.
273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coin Shilling Question on: September 20, 2020, 03:52:51 PM

Shilling and Fuds are always been part on this market not only on crypto but on other markets as well like Forex and stocks. So in the question if shilling does really have real influence then i can say its a yes but depending on the person whom do shill it out im not saying its effective from time to time since people are smart enough if they do saw that a coin been shilled out obviously without any solid proofs that it is really worth to invest on.
When there are some events like fork and other updates news then its neither it do give out positive impact or just have nothing at all.

it is really natural in cryptocurrency to have shillers and fudders. They are earning from that specially if they are numerous large investors who want to buy coins at the bottom while people are panicking. We can`t really control the certain hype unless we go to the trend of the market. Just like what others are saying, the trend is our friend.

Actually, even the traders become smart enough to know if it just a fud, the emotions are still dictating others move. The market needs tough players who can fight against the hype or fud. Just like right now, there are some of my telegram members who said, bitcoin would become blood bath for the next few days and a lot of members had been triggered. RIP for those who follow the fud and sold their coins.
274  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 Vaccine Will Cause Bitcoin Crash on: September 20, 2020, 02:41:38 PM
We can`t really predict what happens in bitcoin when vaccine will launch all over the world. It may be an open opportunity to use bitcoin as means of payment and it might turn on also to other investors in companies or corporations again as preparation for slow development and recovery. We don`t know aside from it makes a great impact with the price in regards with crypto or stocks.

I don't because corporations are now paying more attention to bitcoin after the pandemic, and so are everyone.
Currently, the bitcoin mining hashrate is at an all-time high. Miners will not let bitcoins fall in price because that means losses.
I don't believe bitcoin will depreciate after the pandemic.

Bitcoin mining hashrate does not yet affected much the price of bitcoin. Miners cannot also dictate the price of bitcoin rather than the market players who control the price. Yes, it might not depreciate much after this pandemic, but we just be ready when it will happen.

Only polkadot and zil on your list would be good for me in the long run. But as a trader or investor, I think that you go for an in-depth research for those coins before you put your money to it. It`s nice but I advised to you that you should have at least eth or btc in your portfolio. Why? because mostly, top alts and btc are moving up and other alts still down.

What is the good thing as I see you as newbie trader is having a portfolio. And you really know why you entered in that position. Hope that you will continue it until you double or triple up your trade.
277  Other / Meta / Re: Reduced forum activity on: September 19, 2020, 02:22:35 PM
We're certainly very far from the 2017 levels, there's probably fewer bounties and stuff now too to keep people here.
There are more than enough bounties there but they are not enough worthy to join. Very few bounties hit listing nowadays and even if they get listed, the payment is too low. This has been the regular scenerio of bounty since late 2018 which can be a reason of getting activity reduced.
Regarding quality, I think very few people are here with the motivation of learning about bitcoin, crypto, building business on crypto etc. Most people are motivated with the financial gain. That's why there is lack if quality discussion.
This is the main reason why there is reduction in the number of posters in this forum. Maybe, others have an alternative way to earn in cryptocurrency while others have stopped following crypto because bounty campaigns nowadays are not worthy and just a waste of time. Quality posting is still exercise in forum, there are still campaigners or posters which are eager to post quality reply or threads. We just admit that financial gain is part of the motivation that drives every user in forum.
278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do think about skill games? on: September 19, 2020, 07:57:36 AM
In my opinion, Gambling is all about investing money in an addiction.
Investing in stocks or trading is by far the best skill game I can recall which requires patience, market knowledge and skills.

Other than that, it’s all about luck.
Good luck promoting gambling as skill.
Why you call it investing in an addiction? Actually, if you just play games in casino and you are just making it for fun, then we can`t call it as addiction. Having a skill in game is really needed, specially if you want to win against other players or the house. If we don`t have strategies, we do not know when we are going to stop specially when we have win streaks. Skill games are good because you can manage to win and you have an edge to other players but aside from it, our luck in game matters.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government Don't kill btc? on: September 18, 2020, 10:51:48 PM
What is Stopping?

Why government Don't kill btc?
Why They protecting the btc?
Its Becouse They own Secretly btc?

Like They did with Gold in USA They banned Gold then They Secretly bought Gold in  history
They can kill bitcoin by only banning it to use in their countries. But stopping the entire ecosystem of bitcoin? I think they cannot make it even Satoshi Nakamoto if he returned back, he can`t control bitcoin anymore. Since bitcoin is an open-source and decentralized, no one can control it. Maybe, adoption of bitcoin is widely become the trend and they don`t want anymore to stop this because right now, we are in a digital era wherein we can pay, transfer and send or receive money all over the world using crypto or bitcoin.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: September 18, 2020, 01:26:35 PM
Addiction is very manipulative. Many gamblers were lose their control in gambling and lead to an addiction. Yes, it may be controllable by everyone but only few gamblers can make it. Why? Because inside of our thoughts, we dream to win and bring home the jackpot prize. I know that this feeling had been always your feeling everytime you play in gambling. This is the reason why most of us continuously lose because we think that in the second round, we might become lucky.Well, unfortunately gambling is made to defeat players. Therefore, if you become an addict in gambling, assume that you will become poor and lose your emotional control. Which at the end, your health and mental aspect may be affected. Gambling is really good when it comes in leisure but everything that is too much cause bad things to our lives. Moderation should be exercised when you want to play gambling.
