Hello by any chance you are referring to OLCF as Olportal handled by Wapinter? For me its not as good as they say, also its a big red flag for me, if a certain project have an early announcement on potential listing on Big Exchanges. Its like they are so sure that they will be, but some of the previous I know doing this havent materialized and end up failing.

Also found this thread of complained for this project. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5251354.0

Also its one of the reason why its not included on my list and they dont also have signature category. Investment wise not really a good choice for me. But who knows right? Just my own opinion. Maybe there's a miracle  Grin
Yes, Olportal or Neurobot. When they were started the campaign I thought this campaign looks good since they will be listed in okex as what they promised. But they are changing their own plans after the bounty. They just make the listing as their front so they can hyped the buyers but they don't do what they said earlier.

Well, I believe that if they do not send the payment from campaign and they will not be listed even in coinall. It is a red flag. Seems like I was disappointed by their moved from listing in coinsbit. Anyway, I am always following them because if in the next days they will become good. I will buy OLCF in the market.

Thanks for advise.

624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [DISCUSSION] How to overcome a big loss in gambling? on: May 27, 2020, 11:44:41 PM
Luckily, only a few people here in our country could spend money like that on betting. That is almost 150,000 pesos and in a province that I am living in, that is a huge amount. As I  said, people here are not that addicted to gambling so people can really stop when they wanted to. Losses are inevitable but since some people are not really that addicted, they could lose an amount of money and just stop for a while.
LoL we are at the same yard. Just room around in your place probably you will our other fellow countymen who have been addicted in gambling and lose that such amount.

Snip.

I definitely agree on that statement. If you don't want to stress regarding with your loss, don't pressure yourself. That is why it isn't advisable to gamble money came from a loan. Because if it will lose, you will be pressured to regain it. To the point that you can commit a sin or crime just to recover the money that you have lose.

The points you mentioned are very useful
Thank you for good words.

626  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Poll - How did you find out about Bitcointalk? on: May 27, 2020, 02:57:16 PM
I was 17 yrs old when there was a good samaritan introduced me this forum. Honestly, I am not a typical user here who knows everything about cryptography or even have backgrounds in computer. It is hard for me to get things in my mind because I have no knowledge when I was a newbie. That's the reason why I was stuck with my rank before.

In fact, I thought before that this forum is just for money. Then suddenly, I realized that learning is more valuable than shit tokens we've got. So, I decided to study everything until now.  I don't know where will I start. But I was determined to improve myself.

My mentor who introduced me this stuff also inspired me. Because he have nothing before but right now, he is already a millionaire with a lot of knowledge.

That's why I am really thankful to him because without him, I will be an ignorant in total with cryptocurrency until now. I didn't make money for the last few months. And I can't improve my speaking skills as well.

I really acknowledge him a lot because without him, Nellayar doesn't exist here.

Edit:

Oh I forgot why he shared this stuff to me. It is because we visited their house and this was opened to him. Fortunately, I was there to ask him about how to join. He saw my curiosity and of course he want to help me. And that is the time that he introduced me this forum.
627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [DISCUSSION] How to overcome a big loss in gambling? on: May 27, 2020, 02:23:19 PM
$3000 amount is either big or not, depending on where a certain person do lives but its unlikely to happen that someone do reside on a 3rd world country would spent out 3k all in with gambling.
Nope, don't underestimate third world countries bro. Gambling makes people craze. The more you entertained the more you want to spend your money and time. I came from third world country, but I can say to you that in my country people are gamblers. I have known people who lose more than that, to take note they did not came from an elite family.

Snip.
Just like what I've said, many people are really sick in playing gambling. And if it is habitually do, it leads to addiction. I also have neighbours even right now that gambled their money during lockdown. They don't care if they lose just to feed up their wants. In the end, they have been arrested because they caught in act. It is really a lose-lose situation for them.

It doesn't matter the value that you have lose, it matters how will you overcome such loss and be fun again!
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / [DISCUSSION] How to overcome a big loss in gambling? on: May 27, 2020, 01:12:20 PM
Every gambler really knows the risks that we take in playing online casino. Some of us ended in a great stress because of losing a lot of money in gambling. But because we are enjoying the games specially the slots, we always pulled by our desires to play again. I made this thread to give some tip to overcome a big loss in gambling.

Let assume that you lose worth of 3,000 USD in gambling.

1. Manage your emotion

Don't overstress yourself because you have lose a big amount of money. You can't rewind everything, so the best choice is to calm. If you stressed yourself with your great loss, it can lead to depression. And all of us really know what will happen if you can't control it. It's a mental health problem that you should manage.

2. Don't pressure yourself to regain your loss

I know that I am not the only gambler who experience this. After a loss, I am always want to regain it causing for another loss because my mind and emotion become aggressive. If you lose that day, shut it down temporarily because all of us have bad luck days. And I do believe that luck is essential in gambling not only your strategy.

3. Turn your attention in other activities

We need a new refreshing activity that will unwind our feelings. Get up and have some fun activities because you will gradually recover. I don't know if it works with other but everytime I have problems in my computer or I lose money in gambling. I stay away from it in few hours, I play basketball and other stuffs. After that, I conclude and realize some of my mistakes and how can I come in solution.

If you just in front of your computer even you do some stuff, there is always temptation that you need to play more. And if that so, number 2 in the list will happen.

4. Read more strategies in playing that game or assess your past performance

I know that whatever you do, you will not escape the temptation of gambling. It always attract our desires to win again. But before you play again, realize everything why do you defeat before.

Have you been a greedy in placing bets? Did you always feel positive with your cards? Did you underestimate the game? Realize everything and make sure that you must have your new strategy to win the game. But take note, it isn't an assurance that you will win this time.

5. Just enjoy your future games

Who cares if you lose? As long as you release your stress. Don't make the gambling as your job, because if you will push to win, you will become greed. Bet only the amount you afford to lose. Just like trading, if you need your money more than you want. Stay away in gambling. If you deposit bitcoin in online casino, assume that it will burn.

The bottom line of this is that, don't make gambling as your passive income. Remember, gambling can make you a millionaire but it makes you also poor. Just make it for entertainment so that there are no regrets if your bitcoin burned.

I know that the example is really exaggerated, but there are gamblers lose that much. And the only thing that I have seen, they can't really handle their loss. But don't worry, after a rain there is always a sunshine.

I am always open for opinion and discussion.
Goodluck in your bets.

I am not luck as what OP was. I started to learn cryptocurrency back when 2017. When the ATH of bitcoin arose, that was also the time that I was started to room around in this forum and some crypto industry. However, I was not lucky enough since after ATH till now, I never earned a lot of money. But I am still trying to stay here and keep in touch in trading so that I can earn and save more bitcoin.

Oh btw, My first price that I have seen in bitcoin was 7000 usd.

Hello OP! I saw your thread and it is really great. However, I am following a couple of tokens right now. They are listed already in exchange. I just want to ask you for consultation in buying this token since you are great in selecting good campaigns. This was already ended and I want just to participate with their listing. Is OLCF a good project? A million thanks in advance if you answer this.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 26, 2020, 03:42:50 PM

Who knows? Time flies many things will happen by that time. I doubt the possibility right now for AJ Edu to make it on the NBA, no sign of it. Too many half breeds popping up breaking the internet even Jalen Green was one of it and what if he decides to be on Phil. National team too? That's really a what if.
I saw how AJ Edu played and he is really an athletic at a young age. In fact, I have more confidence with him than Kai. But because Kai is pure Filipino and he shows a lot of improvements today, I believe that Kai Sotto will become the future center for 2025 onwards of the Philippines. If ever he plays for our country.

Let us all look forward for 2023 because many giants and young aspirants will probably join Gilas. Is Jordan Clarkson has a sign of picking?

We need someone with a good level to promote our platform.

Upon looking at your posts OP, I have seen a lot of redundant messages and the worst, you created similar post in different thread. This forum is highly stricted in double posting because you can be subjected in spamming.

I don't think so also that you are really serious in looking for a good bounty manager. It seems that you asked for manager a year ago.

Fancium is looking for a bounty manager who can post the prize pool campaign on bitcointalk. The manager will be paid once the bounty is concluded. Interested participants can contact @Siva32 on telegram or comment your telegram user names here in this thread

And many good managers had been applied, but there was no update of who you selected.

633  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency adoption in Africa on: May 26, 2020, 12:02:30 PM
I remembered an ICO before regarding with the efficiency that they will do for entire Africa by putting up large cables to give fast internet throughout the continent. I just don't know if it was successfully launched or not. Anyway, I can say that Africa is moving faster when it comes in adopting globalization. Though there are some countries that are not yet fully developed, someday they will progress.

CryptopreneurBrainboss is one of example that cryptocurrency is adopted in Africa. And someday, I am sure that Africe will become a giant tech and commerce since they are blessed in resources. They just only need to utilize everything.

Education nowadays becomes accessible by anyone. Since a lot of us are connected already in Internet. Therefore, soon Africans will full adopt the crypto space.

The positive and negative effects of the new system

I just want to share this thread of mine. I made it when merit system was implemented. Unfortunately, a lot of users bashed me here due to my low quality post.

Why do I share it? Because their opinion made me strong. Yeah it hurts but instead of disappointment, I made it as my inspiration whenever I am posting in this forum. I am not that kind of person that has god given talent and I don't have really background in computer and cryptography. But I always give my best to contribute in this forum and other users.

I was stuck in my rank before and I noticed that I need to move because I was left behind. But I am not giving up. Rather, I read, research and study always.

I believe that if you are serious, determined and has perseverance you can make things that you dream of. I am not yet in highest rank. But I always have the eagerness to push myself in limits.

Sometimes we need to fail before we soar high. Sometimes we need to realize that we should move together with others. And we can make what we want if we know what we are doing.

Hope that my failure motivates everyone. Thanks OP for sharing this to us.
635  Other / Meta / Re: I am sick of this... on: May 26, 2020, 05:57:22 AM
All of those listed above except for no. 1 which are spammers and shitposters, I accept it from my threads. I always open for negative opinion because maybe, I have mistakes in my post. In fact, it is more good if they are opposing your statement because it just define how they understand your topic.

You can see if they comprehend when someone disagrees your statement rather than all of them are favoring in your side. It is also a great discussion if there is an argument. Somehow, the topic will elaborate more and many ideas will explicit.

When there are boss that replies my topic, damn I really shock and amaze. Specially if they correct me from my wrong. It just prove that my post is atleast has an impact to them.

Embrace and learn from different opinions. We are not perfect and we can learn everything if we can accept negative feedback. Sometimes, learning is a painful process.
636  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [SUGGESTION] Isang problemang mapapansin sa Local Board natin on: May 25, 2020, 11:46:09 PM

At first I thought that OP told about gambling as an investment. Investment in terms of gambling our money. But when I read the first thread and I amazed that OP really talked about investment just like IEO. This is the first time to hear that there is an investment in bustadice and yolodice. Well, I think I should conduct a research more regarding with this topic.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 25, 2020, 10:36:08 AM
Do you guys think Brownlee would be a good fit for Gilas Pilipinas?

Former Charlotte Bobcats coach Mike Dunlap has some positive words about JB.

US coach explains why 'born winner' Brownlee is perfect for Gilas

Justin Brownlee was really my idol as import in the PBA so I would love him to be a naturalized player since we don't have someone who can really produce consistent scoring in the team and with that, we need him, I know we already have Andray Blatche but I think he is not aggressive in defense inside so maybe we can find someone from our local to replace that position, we have our fil am players that would certainly like to contribute on that position.
Justin Brownlee is really an asset of Ginebra. I can't say with his ability. He can make score, assist, dunk and rebounds. He give his best shot in every game of Gins. I am not a fan of GSM but I think when he has an opponent that dominates him in size, JB scores become low. I remembered when Gin was lose in TNT katropa where Jones was the import. He scored 6 points for the entire game. He is a scorer, but I prefer some like Chris McCullough. He is really dominated in size, score and an all around player. Plus, he is humble.
639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many bitcoins are lost everyday? on: May 25, 2020, 08:05:18 AM
Any source from your statement OP?  How do you come to such a conclusion?  As what webtricks stated, the figures and statistics that is shown on any research are all guesses and not a valid fact.  Writers are just creating those blogs or articles to catch attention from readers.  So do not believe everything that you read from the internet.
Those are only from their own calculations or OP calculated it using the basic formula. It seems like he isn't logically correct because he tried to solve the lost bitcoin by simply dividing the total lose BTC from the number of days.

For OP, the information that you gave is misleading. It will lead to mislead if there is no supported reference. Because if we are going to tackle about lose bitcoins, then we should not just settle with the burned btc. Take a look also with wallets that had been lost the keys and etc.
