2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How high do you see Ethereum going this market cycle? on: December 27, 2020, 08:52:51 PM
Assuming this market cycle comes to a close at the end of 2021, how high do you see Ethereum going? $100k seems to be the main target for Bitcoin, but what about Ethereum?

$4000? $5000? Higher?

Its really hard to think how ethereum goes on. It is really slowly moving upward direction. I thought ethereum will reach its ath same as with bitcoin due to their eth 2.0 launch. However, its struggle to pump hard just like with other altcoins. Yet, eth is 700 dollars I am always positive for it to goes 1k to 2k dollars in next year. Let us hope that bull season will long last so that ethereum will surpass its all time high price.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Altcoins Follow BTC Rally? on: December 27, 2020, 08:04:51 PM
There is a correlation between altcoins and BTC, when the price of BTC touches ATH the altcoins will prepare the positions on charts to rocket up the ATH price too. In rare cases, BTC goes up while the altcoins stay on the same price range but the few altcoins can go as higher as possible. Let's see what will happen in altcoin markets if BTC can go higher than $30k.
+1
There are some altcoins which goes up when bitcoin moves up as well. These altcoins are belong to the top 10 altcoins in CMC ranking such as ethereum, ripple or binance. While other keep on dumping or staying the same price level. Bitcoin dominance still conquering the market and I think anytime other altcoins will follow the same track. There is a correlation between altcoins and bitcoin but most of the time they are negatively correlation.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you need a crypto tax calculator? on: December 27, 2020, 01:35:17 PM
It may works if all countries have same jurisdiction or major laws about taxation. There are countries who restricted cryptocurrency and some wants some regulation to it. The crypto tax calculator is good and helpful for us yet we can't use it because we have varieties of treating the tax. Tax is helpful in a country specially right now wherein the government have few treasuries left because of pandemic. But for me, having a tax in cryptocurrency industry creates too much hassle for us. The best thing they can do is to regulate the exchanges in order to pay taxes on time.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!!!! You BitCoin people were right. I wish I had bought back in March :( on: December 27, 2020, 10:56:32 AM
Regrets are always in last. If you just believe when there are people told you to invest bitcoin, you are in good hands now. Well, in order for you to overcome your regrets, you have to become risk taker. You need to fight back your fear of losing someone or something because at the end of the day, when your risks work you will become successful. Bitcoin pump may be a proof that cryptocurrency is good when it comes to profit and bitcoin will never broke what we expect for it.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 26, 2020, 11:43:19 PM
Yes of course!
I rely more on odds in betting because it shows how does the team differences in a match. Most of the time I go to the highest odds and did not risk too much. Sometimes, I lost but most of the time I win because I rely in odds. However, too much rely on odds may lead to a lose. There are sites that give odds to the gambler which in the end, lose your bets. If you want to play safe, making your own probablity and statistics are better than depending on what the site says.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altilly down after being hacked at Christmas. on: December 26, 2020, 11:08:10 PM
I've never heard of this exchange. I try to avoid them, the unpopular exchanges as much as I can. But for the users of this exchange, there could be good reasons why they chose to use it rather than the popular.
What a way to end the year. This is why you shouldn't use small exchanges because the fact that Altilly can't do anything besides wait for the result means that they aren't really prepared for this or .... exit scamming?
I have seen the latter part if they say that it is a requirement for them to update the servers with those conditions that are unsure. Unlike the bigger exchanges if there's a fault on their end, they give their customers an assured statement that funds are safu.
Me too. As of now, I have no other funds in unpopular exchanges because when bitcoin hit the peak there are many exchanges moves out. Scam exchanges exist and hacking events grow more when bitcoin rise up. Actually, I did not know this exchange but it is also alarming that there is an exchange again which confirmed they hack. This is a bad start for altilly exchange hope they will resolve the issue to get back the trust to the people.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: ...And the good news keeps on coming... on: December 26, 2020, 10:38:05 PM
Anything connected to the Internet can be hacked.

As long as you are connected to the internet, hacking is always possible to happen. There are many skillful and talented hackers who are able to intercept fire walls and securities of your devices. In fact, even government and banks who have highly professional security agents get lost when hackers attack.

I can't see any good news to the OP. The bottomline of this is that we must not treat it as good news because after all it is an incident of hacking.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful at this BITCOIN price point on: December 26, 2020, 10:15:14 PM
The price of bitcoin now is really high, and this is probably going to be a peak,
many people think that the peak price of bitcoin is at $ 27k, and this will reach it,
it's better to sell some and remember don't try to be greedy!
There are some speculations said that it will go more further. Reaching above 40K dollars of bitcoin is what they are keep saying. In this bull season, there are many people who have speculated bitcoin positively so that many buyers will still buy and hold. FOMO is roaming around the market and crypto industry so that those greedy will fall to bait. Greed is good when it gives us profit but overall, it is bad habit specially in business or in trading.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is DeFi Dead? on: December 25, 2020, 11:55:44 PM
The hype is dead already but defi coins are just starting to grow. Maybe, the market is on its way to adjust on current system of defi. There are many scam defi also exist and I think it will disrupt again the trend of defi. As of now, bitcoin dominance covers up the defo hype. But for me, defi is not yet over. It will probably sell to market players again once there is a good and potential project that will launch.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: December 25, 2020, 11:12:37 PM
Snip..
The best thing to do when you are newbie is to collect factual information about trading. We can ask the pro traders online or personal on how it will works. Collecting some ideas to take advantage the environment and look for experienced guru online is good to enhance our knowledge in trading industry. But at the end of this, we have to experience trading even in a demo accounts. There are trading platform that offers demo account in trading. But for me, a real account is way better why? Because we literally feel the emotions we have to ride in trading. In demo account, we cannot feel it because we don't risk anything just time.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: A reward system for Covid Free people.... on: December 25, 2020, 10:33:37 PM
I don't know the point why we need to have a reward system wherein fact the government is hard to budget the national treasury. In my country, it won't really make an effect. Many of my countrymen is not believing in covid19 and they are so much stubborn. Our government does not have also a conrete plan on how to end the covid 19. Yes, this is good to pause the continuously growth of the virus but we all need a concrete idea on how to end this pandemic. Instead of having this reward system, we can focus in researches or studies to emphasize how virus is going to kill through herbal medicines.

14  Other / Meta / Re: Remove Signatures from Altcoin-sections on: December 25, 2020, 02:33:32 PM
Break incentivized posting on altcoin sections. Break the mass spam of the puppet masters.
It might be good to control post spamming since the topic here are just speculations about altcoin and discussions to the altcoins. But I think, it might also affect the number of people who are willing to post in this section. Remove the spammers but not the signatures because even the whole forum have no signatures, if there are spammers around. Spammung activity will just continue to exist. If you want to change something, do not just cut the root but the whole tree.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Cardano so ignored on Bitcointalk? 2020 will be the year for Cardano! on: December 23, 2020, 11:48:24 PM
It is not ignore in this forum. A lot of Cryptocurrencies are being talk and discuss in this forum. ADA is a good coin. It has potential to grow just like what other coins had for the past few years. The forum is always open for discussion about the development of a certain cryptocurrency even it is going down or moving upwards. You just need to search for it OP because I already replied in ADA topic recently in this section.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Between XRP and XLM wish is best on: December 23, 2020, 11:05:31 PM
XLM done great so far and XRP instantly moves down. However, when it comes to usage I prefer to buy XRP or ripple because I can use it more than XLM. When I send money through my main wallet to exchanges or vice versa, I always use ripple for transaction since it has only a small fee and fast transaction. However, when it comes to investment I want to stay in bitcoin nowadays. I don't think altcoins can fight in btc dominance. But between them, I prefer to buy xrp than xlm.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without setting stop loss (Risky or Not)? on: December 23, 2020, 10:41:41 PM
There must be a stop loss management for every trades we make. We must not let our funds lose because of lack of risk management. Maybe, if you can win most of your trades without stop loss then you can do it. But for me, we must have stop loss since we don't know where our trades going on. There are times that our plans move in different ways and if you are unlucky, your loss will goes high if you let your funds burn in market. It take years when you see your money coming back again.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing Number, Who Own 1 bitcoin on: December 23, 2020, 10:43:35 AM
that's a good sign, bitcoin will be stronger if more people hold it than it is controlled by a handful of people, in my opinion getting 1 btc is not too difficult for those who have skills, I am sure in this forum many people can get btc easily, the difficult thing is to hold it for a long time.
^ I am not sure what you are saying, I am probably the unlucky person because it is very difficult to be able to generate 1 Bitcoin while here even though I have participated in many campaigns. very jealous of those who are able to generate 1 Bitcoin from here.
Actually, earning bitcoin when it was 10K dollars is already hard to achieve. I am also envied for those trader who patiently wait bitcoin to pump. There are many campaigns I had joined before but I failed to generate even half bitcoin. If ever I made it, maybe I am a millionaire now in my country. Well, I believe that we have our own time. Maybe, today is not for ours but let us always remember that sun shines every day.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need some help to Understand Bounty campaign on: December 22, 2020, 11:33:28 PM
There are so many bounty campaign that moderate by newbie with 2/3 activities, is that kind of bounty are safe and believable?
If I were you, I would not focus much in bounty campaigns. Only few are good and genuine bounties. It is not already same as 2017 wherein bounties are really paid campaigns. As of now, I think most of hunters are complaining about the tokens we received, distribution process and etc. If you want to be successful in cryptocurrency, move in other earning opportunities such as tradings or minings. If you want an assurance in campaign, I suggest to look after Hhampuz. S/he is a great campaign manager.
