21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto VS national currency on: May 07, 2018, 08:44:50 AM
I found this expression on the news channel about the crypto currency: "Anyone who will try  to buy coffee for cash in 2023, runs the risk of causing laughter from the seller, that he does not use crypto currency."
how do you think, is it realistic? Can a crypto currency replace national  money?
I think that it's possible, but it will take more time.

Yes it is possible, remember some countries now have their own coins. Countries can create their own coins and declare it as their national currency. They can make it decentralized and also make their coin backuped by their FIAT.

23  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are some of the best sources of information on Bitcoin? on: May 06, 2018, 11:34:31 AM
Working on a school project and I'd like some great resources to help me with it. Important information I'm looking for is the 'advantages and disadvantages of Bitcoin'. I would prefer credible resources which I can cite in the project, books are great if you know any.

This forum is an obvious answer to your question now i know it can be tedious to go over the topics but it is worthit. Same with reddit, a lot of information on that website as welk but if you are like me who easily get tired of reading youtube will be the solution. You van learn everything from the very basic  to advance.
24  Economy / Economics / Re: tax for a safer crypto environment on: May 06, 2018, 11:29:46 AM
What if our government add tax whenever we transact fiat-crypto and vice versa, and the fund will be used for our protection(ICO,Scams,Phishings), for example the government will make a group or sector that focuses on crypto environtment. what do you think?

I think this should actually happen. Here in my country they tax you for buying or selling stocks it is a very minimal amount but i believe this is where our securities and exchange commision funds come from. It protects stock investors/traders from some irregulation in the stock market. Definetely this type of law can be applied as well in the crypto market.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hold your ETH until cross 1k on: May 06, 2018, 10:26:35 AM
Every body know that eth growth already start. It's long time eth was rest. Now it's time to run for ETH. I was post long time ago for buy eth. Those is buy they are already in profit. Form now eth is up trends and it will cross 1k very soon. I expect eth will cross 1.5K within 3 month. So I feel you can hold it for little time.

Note: I just share my own idea. Please research yourself before buy or hold. Every trade is risky.

I also believe it. I was able to stocked ethereum when it went down at around  $400 because i know just like bitcoin ethereum will rise and will have a new all time high this year.
26  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Transfer My Entire Savings to Cryptocurrencies? on: May 06, 2018, 10:23:34 AM
Better not to put out all your money in stocks instead diversify you portfolio. Stocks are really ok for me in terms of making profit but yeah trading with cryptocurrency is a best market for me right now, I think bittrex is more secured compare to other but I'm not sure of course, better to do your own research about this but investing in cryptocurrency is always a good choice.

I agree you need to diversify your investment. Do not put all your money in stocks and do not move all your money to crypto currency.
Since you have mentioned that you are getting positive results on stocks i guess you know how to trade or at least have knowledge on it. Crypto currency market is similar with quite differences but i am sure you will get it right away and you wull have good results as well.

Now for the exchange i personally use binance,it is about preference, just make sure your exchange is trust worthy.
27  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see this one coming? on: May 05, 2018, 03:23:40 AM
I'm afraid that the bearish trend of the cryptocurrency market is not over yet. I will be glad to be mistaken, of course. Persistent signs of recovery still not in sight.

That is true, even with the prices going up we still was not able to recover what we have reach on December 2017, we are still in a bear market. How long this bear market stay, I think the reversal trend is near and we may see another bull run next month or the month after that. We just need to be patient Bitcoin price will recover and I hope that you were able to buy some coins when the prices are very low.
28  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the risk necessary to make a big profit? on: May 05, 2018, 03:15:37 AM
Hello guys, I see that many traders are afraid of risk, and they always want a guaranteed profit, but unfortunately, this gain is always  a little in value.
And in many threads, they always ask about "how to make a safe method in trading".

For me, the risk is essential in every field ( especially in  trading) to win a lot of money. Furthermore, when you are afraid, then you will never achieve what you want.
Many businessmen/women (billionaires) and  successful traders become rich because they take risks.

Come on , overcome the fear, make a risk , we will only live once.
Now the market in crisis,  you must  take advantage of this opportunity, your life may will change for the better.

This quote is  very expressing :
"If you want it, go for it. Take a risk. Don't always play it safe or you'll die wondering"
                                                                                                                            -Ms.KG

What do you think guys?

Yes, definitely the old saying is true " the bigger the risk the bigger the reward" just imagine 10 years ago if nobody have risk their money investing in Bitcoin, most likely we may have never known Bitcoin because price would have not reach the amount we are seeing now.

Now for businessman/ traders that become successful I do not agree you with that. Yes they do take risk but what you have forgotten is they take controlled risk. In trading they always have a stop loss. If the risk they take did not pan out they they will cut their losses and move to another one.

Also problem with taking risk is capital. Not everyone can risk their capital, specially with people who have a limited income.
29  Economy / Economics / Re: Brazil in the process of regulation. Good or bad? on: May 05, 2018, 03:08:40 AM
Exclusive interview with President Fernando Furlan of the Brazilian Association of Cryptomoedas and Blockchain. Brazil in the process of regulation. Good or bad? https://www.criptomoedasfacil.com/entrevista-exclusiva-com-presidente-fernando-furlan-da-associacao-brasileira-de-criptomoedas-e-blockchain/

Crypto currency being regulated is inevitable and to be honest it is good. I personally think that the pros are outweighing the cons if Crypto currency is regulated (of course it will still depend on what laws they will pass). With Crypto currency getting mainstream everyday, being regulated will surely help new investors to try crypto currency because they know they will be protected by regulation.
30  Economy / Economics / Re: Making crypto succeed in the real world? on: May 05, 2018, 03:03:59 AM
Hi, I would love to hear your input on this.

As I see it, we need crypto wallets installed on every phone possible to ensure the readiness of everyday payment with crypto assets. Once customers are ready to pay, the stores will follow.

At least three things needs to happen:

1) Adoption of crypto wallets needs to increase (preferable with pre-funded assets)
2) Each wallet provider needs to agree on a standard protocol for payment (Maybe Payment Request API (W3))?
3) Store owners need a merchant app to receive payment with further integration into multiple accounting systems.

Have you seen anyone doing this?
Do we need a wallet alliance that can stipulate a standard?
What else needs to happen besides regulation?

Best crypto greetings,
Vindberg
https://validators.com
Those are not bad ideas but I do not think it's going to work for several reasons, first of all you want cryptocurrency wallets installed in every single phone, but if my phone came with an application like that and I didn't use cryptocurrencies I'll just uninstall it, second we do not need adoption of crypto wallets we need adoption of cryptocurrencies, if I am not holding cryptocurrency I do not need a wallet, and for your second and third point I do not think that is really necessary.

Yes I agree, this type of ideology may work in a perfect world but in the real world this is not going to happen.

For the questions- ICO have been doing this, they are trying to create wallets for their own coin. I have a lot of coins from bounties that have their own wallet.
Wallet alliance - I do not think that will work, but if you mean wallet that support multiple coins, I am using Jaxx and it supports multiple coins.
for the third question - I do not think it is going to ever happen.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price are back up!! on: May 05, 2018, 02:56:54 AM
as of today (when I write) bitcoin price are back up from it's critical loss ranging from 9019$ to 9074$ does this the topic that we should talk about now!

From my perspective it is coming impossible to none to some small businessmen when regard to investing, a lot of investor would doubt the volatile price charts that where given up to us for the past two or three weeks.
it is also hard to make a prediction to some local exchange site btc/eth, btc/bcc, btc/$... and so on I will put it as friendly as possible but this could be the time most of us will surely fail to achieve her/his goal. gambling,trading,investing,etc..  Shocked    Cry

This could be the start of good or something much more sinister foreboding.

The prices are hovering between 900 - 940$ and we are waiting for btc to cross 9500$ mark. Once we are above 9700$ we can see a big bull run in BTC prices.

As of this writing price is at $9,828, now I do not think that there will be a bull run even if we crossed $10,000.  I agree with the other posters as of now Bitcoin price is fluctuating because Bitcoin now is accumulating. I personally think that once we have crossed the $12,000 resistance level we will see a bull run. THe next resistance after that will be the $15,000 and I think it will be crossed easily once the bull run started.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Robbery on: May 04, 2018, 11:50:15 PM
Earlier this month, Cointelegraph reported on a heist involving an in-person Bitcoin transaction in Singapore, in which a Malaysian man was assaulted and robbed of $365,000 in cash by two bogus Bitcoin brokers in his hotel.
hopefully such incidents for the future diminish and if it could even have no more crime so everyone will feel safe wherever and whenever, let alone the incident involving the name of bitcoin certainly can spread the issue is not delicious

Yes of course we can hope that this type of crime should diminish but in reality as crypto currency gets more popular I am pretty sure more people will be interested on stealing it. I think this will be one of the positive side when a government recognize crypto currency as a legitimate currency. They can create laws and protect Bitcoin/crypto currency users against these type of criminals.
33  Economy / Economics / Re: New investor and prices on: May 04, 2018, 11:40:07 PM
I dont think, new investors take large role on making the price change, since nrw investors are not really taking large volume of coin.
Don't underestimate the mass effect. One investor on its own won't do much, but when we're talking about thousands of these new investors jumping into whatever coin, they'll shake up that market immensely.

If you also add that quite some of these people aren't only trading from one account, where they even operate numerous bots, the effect is larger than what you think it would be in normal circumstances.

Exchanges have been dealing with +100,000 daily registrations, which says enough. It's the mass that has the ability to move markets, they only need to be triggered to either start buying and selling, which is the job of whales.

Yes I agree if we are talking about new coins definitely it will have a huge effect on the price but for the stable coins like Bitcoin I do not think there is much affect on it. For Bitcoin price fluctuations come from people who are trading.

This is why there are a lot of pump and dump groups on telegram because they know that they can take advantage if the coins are cheap.

36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is rare on: May 01, 2018, 03:55:52 AM
Yes it is rare, but assuming right away that it will be more expensive if available Bitcoin to be mined is fewer is wrong. Remember that even though the supply is limited in order for the price to drive up we still need a demand. Of course I hope that demand will continue and the Bitcoin price to be sky high in the future.

38  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin before April 27 on: April 23, 2018, 10:16:24 PM
Did you see that bounce in Bitcoin? You must be feeling great if you bought the dip on February 2, 2018 for around $6,000…Or maybe you missed that opportunity, simply because you don’t know how to get started. If that’s the case, don’t worry. Shocking news has broken about a huge multibillion-dollar company that has proven my findings to be right…Findings that could help anyone turn $100 into a retirement fortune…But there’s no time to waste, Because I expect it to happen as early as April 27. Don't think is too late to invest now, Make up your mind then buy some coin down now.

I agree with you, with the current price Bitcoin is still a good buy but what you mentioned "$100 to retirement fortune " sound like just anther hype. I know a pump is really near and prices will skyrocket but why April 27? Just like other posters without concrete evidence then we can not believe you, anyway I think true Bitcoin believer already have invested in Bitcoin and probably they bought more on the dip.

Thank you Yahoo, I hope to work with you again.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: Whose problems does Bitcoin solve? on: April 18, 2018, 05:24:42 AM
This is why I believe that bitcoin will be the currency of the future. It can eliminate the problems that FIAT cannot. Soon all government will recognize how Bitcoin can help their economy. People who are saying that Bitcoin will die will be sorry in the future.
