22  Economy / Speculation / Is the current bitcoin bull run confirmed now ? on: March 31, 2024, 04:50:52 PM
We had bitcoin touching even $70k not long ago. It has almost doubled in few months. Is this the sign of current bull run. Or we can expect even more movement and then the bull run will be confirmed ?
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why is Elon Must not tweeting about any crypto coin on his twitter now ? on: March 31, 2024, 04:49:02 PM
Earlier, he was making lot of posts related to different altcoins. I do not advocate this action but it many times gave some boost to that coin. What is the reason that he has stopped doing that ? Has he been told not support any coin by some court order ? Or did he stop because lot of people ridiculed his actions keeping in mind the level he is at financially ?

25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good or Bad - Blackrock Buying BTC on: March 31, 2024, 05:02:00 AM
Even now that the price of bitcoin is still below $70,000, there are people who are still unable to afford a whole bitcoin, which is never a problem and shouldn't be a problem.

Even if Blackrock and other financial institutions want to buy more bitcoin, the thing will still remain the same. You can only reduce the amount you will buy if the price goes all up, just as those who didn't buy when the price was below $30,000 have cut down their budget.

One thing you need to know is that the bitcoin price will always move up above where it is right now, with or without this blackrock purchase.

They are just helping the process speed up a little bit, but the bitcoin price is going to remain stagnant, so if you have money to buy, use the opportunity of seeing it at a low price to accumulate what you can.

But it can be a problem in future. They will be very powerful and will control prices in future. This will make it hard for future investors to come into the market.

However, not everything is bad about it. There is another aspect that Blackrock buying lots of bitcoins means that there will be more demand for bitcoin. It will mean that prices will grow which will benefit other small investors holding bitcoins currently.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has BTC really become more attractive than gold? on: March 31, 2024, 04:59:35 AM
Bitcoin has proved to be a better investment than gold for sure because

1) If we just compare return wise, bitcoin beats every other investment option including gold. And we should not forget that gold took so much time to reach current stage. While bitcoin has exploded in just 10-15 years.

2) Safety wise also bitcoin is safe. To store large amount of gold, you have to spend lot of money on services like lockers. On the hand, you can store as much BTC you want safely with a simple hardware wallet.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sam Bankman Fried (scam banker fraud) 25 years on: March 29, 2024, 04:40:50 AM
so the sentencing is in.. and it seems he is getting 25 years. good(shoulda got longer)
obviously he will try and appeal it. but atleast he isnt going to get to play CEO again any time soon (he was hoping to be allowed to be free to get back to business to 'make everyone whole' unpunished)

this might make a few other scammers realise trading in crypto does not alleviate them of the law, a scam is still a scam no matter what the asset/value/currency is

He got the punishment which he deserved.

Now I hope that other scammers related to bitcoin community take this as a lesson and leave all the scams. Because the people affected by these scams are always general public who loose their hard earned money. Also, we as crypto users, should always report all frauds we come across during our involvement with some crypto project.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to the common man. on: March 29, 2024, 04:38:51 AM
"common man", a common term for the average citizen.
"An average citizen", one who strives daily
To meet up in securing the basic necessities of life. Approached by Bitcoin , the common man sees hope!
Hope of a bright future.
Hope of achieving a longtime dream of primordial success.
Hope of all sorts and to all kinds of men
Bitcoin was like the bright light at the end ot the tunnel.
And it still is!

But with all the challenges faced by the average man, many have given up hope in this light(Bitcoin) .
Patience is one key factor to acquiring success through Bitcoin .

If only the common man would have to be patient, then a guarantee of life long success can be attainable.

Patience is needed everywhere to succeed. Like if you are doing some business, you will have to wait few years after starting it to make regular customers. Then when the business is set, you can keep earning profit per month and also grow it from there. Same applies to bitcoin investment as well. If you are patient with bitcoin investment, you can make good amount of profit with it. Like suppose you hold for 10 years, you can expect profit of even 10x from here on. On other hand , greedy people will simply sell their bitcoin holdings for small gains because they are impatient.
29  Economy / Exchanges / Are there some charges to use Bitcoin ATMs ? on: March 21, 2024, 01:44:46 PM
There is no bitcoin ATM in my country but I have heard that there are some countries where there are bitcoin ATMs. I would like to know that if there are charges to use these bitcoin ATMs. What are those charges ? If there are no charges, then who pays for the maintenance of these bitcoin ATMs ?
30  Economy / Speculation / Re: Contest: Predict the exact possible bitcoin price for 22-3-24 and win merits on: March 21, 2024, 01:42:58 PM
I do agree that it's a good thing that we could help people gain merits by actually doing something fun, it's a great way and I have seen much worse reason to share merit before. I believe that it will probably somewhere near 70k back again, I do not know if it will actually get there or not but I hope that it will.

A big increase back again is expected but that date is close so I may not get it that quickly, or maybe the price will go up very quickly and will not take long. I just want to share that 70k number so that if I am right then I will gain some merits, and if I am wrong then it's all fine because someone else will get merits for actually deserving to get it, I believe that's the most important part of it.

Yes, bitcoin is 5.7% up in last 24 hours and it can again reach near to 70 K soon as you predicted. Good luck.

 Good luck to your service!

It is ok, take your time.

I had some merits lying around with me for some time. So thought to do a contest here for this.

As a reply on this thread, you have to post the exact possible price for bitcoin on 22-2-24 , 8 pm Indian time.

The member with the closest estimate will win this contest.

Good luck.

33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Do bitcoin accelerators really work ? on: March 16, 2024, 01:53:21 PM
Not all tx accelerator is fake, such as viabtc they offer great service. But if you look at not reputable website from google most of them is fake, they just doing scrapping via PHP Curl or post API. Ridiculously they ask a payment first before post a data to real tx accelerator

Yes, now I understood their business model. They are giving free option which when used by a user will never work and this is when they promote paid service to him.
34  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might reach $100k before halviing. What is your exit strategy? on: March 16, 2024, 01:52:06 PM
Those who will want to see Bitcoin at 100k are the people that will be caught up with the trap. This doesn't mean that Bitcoin will not see nor exceed 100k but investors will sell off ahead of everybody's expectation.

If you are smart enough you will exit at 96k and below.

Why did you keep the gap of only 4k ? I wish that it does not sees a major correction at 95k otherwise you will also get included in affected people list.
35  Economy / Services / Re: Krishnaverma's Signature, Avatar and Personal Text for rent on: March 13, 2024, 01:55:30 PM

Thanks a lot.

36  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin might reach $100k before halviing. What is your exit strategy? on: March 13, 2024, 01:54:53 PM
Bitcoin is rising upwards in terms of price continuously. Many are predicting that it will reach $100k before halving. In case that happens, do you plan to exit at that price level because of possible correction at that levels ? What is your exit strategy  with bitcoin once it reaches $100k?
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Do bitcoin accelerators really work ? on: March 10, 2024, 05:34:48 AM
I had one of my transaction stuck for quite long time. I tried some free bitcoin accelerators but it had no impact on the speed the transaction. Later the transaction got confirmed on its own. So I feel that these free BTC accelerators are just marketing gimmick to sell their paid options or to drive traffic on their sites. Do you agree with this ?
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is that one reason that motivates you to invest in bitcoin even at ATH ? on: March 10, 2024, 05:32:19 AM
I am not investing Bitcoin at its ATH but the reason I still could is that I believe in Bitcoin. Of course we will experience the bear market someday but over the long run, I don’t think the bear market can do any harm because Bitcoin will worth a lot more than it is today. Maybe $300k, $500k or even $1M. With or without the ETF.

I am also hopeful with BTC future but it would be fair to say that bitcoin is worth only that amount for which current price is there. This is because current price is an accurate indication of current supply and demand related to bitcoin. If there will be more demand in future , it will surely increase the price as supply is limited. Once all the bitcoins are mined and new bitcoins will no longer be available to come in circulation, after that point it will explode real well.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just a friendly Bitcoin friend reminder - High price = more scams on: March 06, 2024, 12:18:17 PM
The Bitcoin price are reaching a new All-time-high again and we all know scammers are trying their best to get their hands on your coins.

I have seen a significant increase in Phishing emails, trying to get me to click on stupid links.

I never click on any links and all my coins are stored in long-term cold storage, so I know they are out of reach, but many people have hot wallets and they might be a target.

So guys... be safe out there and protect your coins. It's crazy season and the scammers are very active.

Your observation is very correct. You are doing right thing by warning users but still there will be many who will fall for these scams. This is because majority of people are greedy in nature.

Not only phishing mails will increase, there will be new coins coming as well. Most of these new coins will be scams and attempt to fool them with false promotions.
40  Other / Archival / Re: Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ? on: March 06, 2024, 12:16:24 PM
Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ?  Is there chance of major correction from here as prices have already peaked now.

If you look at past prices, there had been no time when bitcoin investment was bad.. If you invested anytime in past 10 years and held it till now, you would always been in profit. So, again, if you are investing for long term, it does not matter at what price level you are investing. You will be profitable if you hold for 10 years. I think that growth in bitcoin prices will be faster in next 10 years in comparison to first 10 years of bitcoin.
