21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance USDT TRC20 has been changed from 0 to 0.20 USDT on: February 28, 2021, 03:30:47 AM
All these days, it was free or zero cost to withdraw USDT TRC20 but suddenly from today, they have changed it to 0.20 USDT. I don't know if BUSD fee was 0 from the beginning or not but now it has been decreased to 0. The target is to boost the use of BUSD. This is the manipulation of Binance. There’s more to come.

I think it's not manipulation and Binance has the right to do it and if you are using their exchange or infrastructure then we should abide by it thats business and it's not Free, for me its still cheap compare to Ethereum base or ERC20 USDT tokens, Honestly speaking I was using different stable coin like USDT, USDC, TUSD, BUSD but if I'm using Binance I preferred to use BUSD.

True, If i am in Binance exchange I basically use BUSB and that even didnt come to me as anything bias but I just felt it is the exchange stable coin so i use that but when trading on other exchange, I use other stable coins too and I dont feel any type of way in that too as long as I can complete my transactions, no problem and I think this ERC20 high gas fee is not liked by all and and true business minds will take advantage of each others short fall and even if that was the case, I dont think Binance have over stepped.

I Has Been Wins Against the Market

I'm hold 4-5 years, now only have NXT, XRP

Important lessons that can be taken:
Patience is the Key

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5099918.msg49331794#msg49331794

THANK YOU,

I hear you and congratulations on your profits but i do want to suggest though that even when we say patience is Key, that don't work for all crypto investment or projects because you need to know if the project you are investing in is something that can be held for long as in, Is this project established? have they proven themself in the crypto space? I will only hodl such kind of projects that I don't only strongly believe is worth the HODL but is reputable/made their mark in the crypto ecosystem.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron is an outdated coin on: February 22, 2021, 09:14:31 AM
Tron is very well known from Justin Sun. He was promoting Tron very hard and always compared it to Ethereum.

But he failed completely and his Tron coin was never a danger for Ethereum because Tron was a very bad and not innovative coin. It was based on old and outdated tech but Justin Sun did huge marketing. Tron will be very likely dead soon and people holding Tron will make huge losses.
Justin Sun is guilty here because he has promised a good coin but could never deliever.

See also here: We should not buy outdated and overvalued coins

Guilty as in what? Is Vitalik guilty of the current high gas fee? If i don't invest in tron i would care less of what happened there. Anyone that invested in any crypto project knows why they did and have their own believe of that project. I don't hold any amount no tron though and even if i did, that would be my worry. Apart from few crypto projects, most others are just opportunist cos if you look back to 2017, most of the coins/tokens I traded and made good profits from then are no where to be found now. Maybe years from now Tron may or may not be one of those, time will tell.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why only tron missed the bull this time. on: February 21, 2021, 10:51:40 AM
ethereum up to moon
Polkadot up to moon
Cardano up to moon
binance up to moon

all Dapp platforms have increased, but not for Tron. is tron not good enough?
does Justin haven't the funds to pump tron?
why until recently Tron there weren't any major movements in the market

I believe that he is worried about this and the tron community too co some days ago he put out this tweet to let the community know that he is still working on something that might be bringing positive boost to the project.

And I do believe that tron did move abit even though not as much as some other projects cos just some week ago it was trading @ $0.03 now trading @ $0.06
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Binance be the next Ethereum? on: February 21, 2021, 10:34:04 AM
as we can see if the price of Binance has risen very high for now and even all the coin that use Binance smart chain have also increased very high and of course gas fees from Binance are very low compared to Ethereum, so there is a possibility that in the future there will be many projects using blockchain from Binance and that is an opportunity for Binance to replace Ethereum (become the king of all altcoin).

so do you agree with me if Binance will be the next Ethereum? or are you thinking of anything else?

There is that argument that is going on right now that if Binance and BNB is performing or providing same services like the Ethereum even with much lower fees, why shouldn't the price of BNB just as high as that of Ether? I believe this will be a matter of time as we can see how quick the price of BNB is rising and I know or want to believe most projects will also be looking at migrating to the Binance Chain network to take advantage of this low transaction fee. This is really hurting Ethereum network and I also believe this is why Eth price has not really perform more than it is currently.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies are safer with top altcoins on: February 21, 2021, 10:25:53 AM
Seek for more crypto knowledge before investing in new projects, it's not always that easy to choose, as a newbie it's better to stick with old top altcoins on coinmarketcap, why? Because many newbie are in rush to make fast returns, if you are this type pls go for better top coins, 90% of new coins aren't serious at all, they are here to steal money from investors and give fake promises in return

Newbies are safer with top altcoins until they start learning how to choose wisely, do better diggings on new project to avoid scams

Cov-19 have been used to scam many newbies and even Corona virus coins are built too which have no real use cases

Play safe and be willing to learn

I would say that this just doesn't relates to just newbies alone, even some that have been in the crypto space for some times might want to invest in new projects and eventually gets burn and by the way, there isnt a 100% vetting that you can do and guarantee that you can avoid investing in bad projects because some can be a genuine as it can be a still fail down the line to some reasons. When Cardano ADA was first listed on Bittrex Back in 2017 I was reading online how it was a scam coin and I believe most people like me that listened to what was been pushed online then and got out of ADA understands now that, that narrative then wasn't true.

While investing in top Alts is advisable, there are still many new good projects to profit from even as a newbie and most likly of you stick to some reputable exchanges which have worked for me though.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria led global crypto adoption in 2020 on: February 20, 2021, 09:25:04 AM
With the current situation in Nigeria, the youths have fund a way around the hard economic problems that the days governments have not been able to resolve to a long while now, Unemployment and the youths and come to understand that cryptocurrency trading is a way out of that and they have been able to do that very well to a large extent including being the leading crypto trading economy last year and tom me, I believe no government policy will deter them from what they have found as a means to financial freedom.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB is No. 4 on: February 19, 2021, 10:22:28 AM
Yeah, that's right. BNB has overtaken both DOT and ADA in terms of market capitalization. I think this is largely due to the many projects and users/traders/investors migrating to the Binance Smart Chain.

With BNB, every time is a new ATH  Grin Grin Grin oooh and BNB is on no. 3 now and I strongly believe this is like the beginning and I agree with you in regards to the many users migration, ETH gass fee is creazy these day, I read a post about someone trying to send soneone a $10 crypto gift and fee was $30  Grin Grin Grin

Checking the price reminded me of the time I sold my BNBs at $45 Grin

Looks like I bought those from you  Wink thoguh bought a bit lower @ $42

29  Economy / Economics / Re: Our boss and employer are money on: February 18, 2021, 11:23:53 AM
Wrong analogy, us investors and cryptocurrency traders are not working for money. It's the other way around, money is working for us. Sure we may still have to look at our tradings and all now and then, but come to think of it, we can do this whenever we feel like, and it almost always guarantees profits, provided that you have sound judgement and a wide knowledge of the game. So it's not us working for the money. It's money working for us.

I think both Analogy are kinda correct depends on where you are viewing it from. From the posters view, as a new person to making money, they have to work for the money as in, work to make the money and from your point, you get to a point where you have to make you money work for you and like you said, most of us have our money locked in and making the profits but just needs the monitoring every now and then but from the other point of view, they have to work for the money now to be able to be in that position where the money now works for them.

I agree with what you say and there have been prominent people that have made it financially that have posted different quotes about this;

"If you don't find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die." -Warren Buffett

"Don't work for money; Make money work for you" - Robert Kiyosaki

And many more people believe at a point in your life after you have worked for money, your money should start working for you while you take a more relaxed life depending on how you set it up.
30  Economy / Economics / Re: We, bitcoiners, should buy a bank on: February 17, 2021, 08:15:25 AM

I still see many people being puzzled by BTC, saying it's a bubble, that it's going to crash, etc...
Taking advantage of the huge price rise, I think some early believers should team and buy an existing bank. Not Barclays, nor JP Morgan of course, but there are small banks out there. Imagine a bank owned by bitcoiners, for bitcoiners. It would become an exchange, and it would be the best exchange in the world with the full ability to make Swift and SEPA transfers without the need to use the service of a third party.

I don't think this will resolve anything because once it is a financial organization like a Bank be it Big or Small, I believe they  are all still been regulated by the central Bank of which ever country and these central Banks are own and controlled by the Government. I just believe that at some point, the Governments of all this countries will just have a rethink about crypto acceptance maybe only putting some regulations instead of ban because of Bitcoins adoption by some major Organizations and Institutions.
31  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2021-02-02 Forbes - Bitcoin Is Not Money—Yet on: February 16, 2021, 11:47:57 AM
What the writer or composer of that article doesn't understand yet is that series of organisations now accept Bitcoin as a means of payment all across the world. I read that a grocery shop now accepts cryptocurrency as a mean of payment which is likely to be Bitcoin.
Although, he may be right saying it's not money as money is expected to be generally accepted as a means of payment. But to many of us, Bitcoin is more than money as it stores values money can never store.

Like you said, it is not generally accepted as the means of exchange yet and don't get me wrong, I am Pro Bitcoin but most Government will not accept Bitcoin as a replacement to the General Fiat. Many organizations might be accepting it, also understand that, those are personal businesses.

As a store of value, How many of us like to HODL our Cryptos outside the Stable coins which by the way is tied to the fiat currency when we are in a Bear market? I like when i see people using that phrase "Store of value" will you would even hodl the fiat is because as I said, it is tied to the fiat currency, if not, it wouldn't be good enough as a store of Value.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All of a sudden they want to join crypto. on: January 19, 2021, 03:37:05 PM
Hahahaha I have been getting quite alot of engagement lately... and pretty sure I'm not the only one  it's crazy seeing dm's  from doctors, lawyers, engineers, astronauts & Olympians.  Parents wanted me to be any of the above and now they're in my dm's trying to learn about crypto and how I make 6 figures from holding/staking altcoins like $BET $LINK $ ADA. Hmmmmmmmmm life.

Astronaut indeed, lol so even astronaut are contacting you to learn crypto, how did they manage to get the information that you made 6 figures! did you published it or you have a group where you make announcement about your personal sale? Undecided
Teach them because we need more people to come in and bring in new money, congratulations on your 6 figure achievement. Grin
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AME Token TRADING LIVE ON BKEX EXCHANGE on: January 19, 2021, 03:28:29 PM
Sad that i missed a chance Buying Amepay when i Offered it here in in Altcoin marketplace but i'm Late because that time the Amepay Team had already start trading and my chance slips away.
Wondering how much those Buyers like me Made a profit when im Now . truly sad.

_______________________________________________________________________________

But It's Ok because I'm happy knowing that the Campaign pays their Hunters and nothing comes to scamming like most of the campaigns in altcoins.

You should have offer a good price, yours was too cheap Cheesy and besides am sure those hunters who sold cheap to the team already regretted doing so, i heard mxc listing is already approved, and i also saw their tweet about binance, the amepay team seem to be determine to take this project to a higher level. One of the trusted alts bounty of recent.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 14th BNB Burn on: January 19, 2021, 02:40:07 PM
What difference does it make when there is another burning of coins? if you can buy coins at any price now, be sure that you cannot stay in the red for the distance.

It makes a difference in the supply, the lesser the coin get the higher the demand and value, bnb is already high in price and the occasional burning of it will reduce the number of bnb in circulation and will impact on the price, this could hit $100 in the near future.
35  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CONFESSION TIME: I SOLD TOO EARLY on: December 30, 2020, 08:47:22 PM
@op dont beat yourself up maybe I would have sold too if I where in your shoes, you are right, not many people believe btc will make the 20k mark this soon, and I bet many people also sold too quickly when btc first started the run, this is part of the journey, sometimes you get it right and other times it doesn't go as planned but there will always be another opportunity,  maybe not from btc but from some other good project.
36  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase After 5 days, we will automatically sell cryptocurrency in your account on: December 30, 2020, 08:40:14 PM
This exchange will never stop to amaze me, I thought only bittrex are the soar ones who will sell your crypto funds on your behalf while your account is blocked,  so what is the reason for the account blocked exactly! Did your account got involved in any shady activities,
I  am not sure but I dont think binance will not act this way, I see them as more flexible than rest of them all.
37  Economy / Speculation / Re: I doubt Bitcoin will dip below 20k again on: December 30, 2020, 08:34:19 PM
I also don't think such huge dip will occur at least judging from the way the market operates this time, but it is too soon to tell I guess we can only wait and watch what will happen in January, it will be the determinant of the btc price movement, meanwhile there is a guy who post in another topic he his waiting btc to go 6k to buy, definitely he can't not see that price again.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there real initiatives to fight scam in crypto?? on: December 29, 2020, 03:39:25 PM
Its treu that it become very hard to scam people and take theire money in the curent time but for now i dont know about any official organization that track scammers
If you know about anyone please share with me

you may think it becomes hard to scam people but i don't believe it is so, as crypto gain more exposure and the price increases so are new innocent people coming into to earn, and this people are still very vulnerable with no idea at all how things are done, how to protect themselves from scammers, now that btc price has increase a lot we have new people in crypto, and scammers are up in their game as well.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much btc do you need to secure your future? on: December 29, 2020, 02:13:51 PM
As much as my hand and leg can carry  Grin, if i can afford it i would hold 1% of total circulation (of course this is only in my imagination) and i will build a castle in my country and leave like a king - happily ever after, lol! sounds good but not going to happen,
the answer is i do not have a clue because my needs are big and i need a huge btc wallet to fulfill them.  Grin
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Had you sold your Bitcoins ? on: December 29, 2020, 01:28:33 PM
I already sold out all my Bitcoins, and other crypto.

I don't want to risk. i would buy Bitcoin again when it visits $6000 again, maybe next year.

What about you?

Well it is your choice to sell although i think there is still a bit more time before the bear will visit the market but your dream of seeing btc back to $6000 may not come to pass, btc will definitely correct down but to as low as 6k! i highly doubt that.
