21  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Porez na bitcoin i kriptovalute 2018-2019 on: February 17, 2021, 04:37:44 PM
Čitam sada ovo sve i mogao bih lagano pasti u depresiju.

26  Economy / Exchanges / Facebook Ads VCC on: January 31, 2021, 08:19:20 PM
Is there a VCC you can fund with crypto that works with facebook ads?
I remember when I had a Wirex VCC a few years ago it wasn't accepted by facebook.
Do you know any that work?
I'd like to use some of my crypto to pay for some ads.
27  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] Another Box of 10 iluvbitcoins knives Design 3 on: January 31, 2021, 05:22:29 PM
Probably a lifetime worth of knives in that box

I would assume so  Smiley

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XLM] Stellar - Decentralized trading platform on: January 19, 2021, 02:40:38 PM
I’m pretty sure it never happened, otherwise it would of been in my account.
31  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Binance really that bad? on: January 18, 2021, 11:36:49 AM
I find it odd that I can't find more than a few such stories in other places.

Exactly. In a blog it's easier to make comments for one big reason: more comments to a blog post usually makes it go up in ranking for search engine results (even if for short time).
This means that blog owners are happy to see more and more comments and they also leave it easy to comment unverified.

Notice how almost all the comments are talking about Binance locking them out of their accounts and blocking them from getting their funds.
Is there any truth to it?

I'm surprised that as Legendary you are asking this, since I've seen it also here on the forum: many are trying to trick various services - gambling, faucets, name it - trying to gain some extra money and when they get caught they scream in as many places / threads they can that "the scam service has stolen their money". I don't know what they could have done wrong there or what went wrong, but without any proof.. I don't believe them.

I clearly won't say that Binance is the greatest. But until now I had no issues there that would cause me loss of money.
However, it's an excahnge company with unclear location of the HQ, so it's known that one should not trust too much money to such entities. Not your keys, not your coins.

I'm asking because it appears they're alleging it's selective locking only of big accounts.
And I also know their support isn't very helpful.
I would find it weird to find a dozen scammers in a single article and nowhere else. What would they gain by posting on 99bitcoins but nowhere else?
There's almost only negative comments there, and I've been reading about their lending platform recently, which makes me curious.
32  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BlockFi Interest? on: January 18, 2021, 01:48:28 AM
What about non-custodial lending platforms?
There's no risk of them running off with your assets.
Other risks still involved.

Hm. Yes.
Thought the countdown would be self-explanatory.
I will be refunding SatsLife for the difference.

I am not trying to force a refund - simply pointing it out - typically the count down is added at time of auction - when you posted you provided a time limit then an hour later you posted a count down timer in a secondary post - the two end up contradicting themselves is all.

I think best thing to do is to always post the countdown timer at the same time as the listing - or if posting later adjust the count down time to be in sync with the time of the OP.

I know, don't sweat it  Cheesy
It's just that if I've made it dubious, better to make the buyer right even in the worse scenario.
Sorted it out with SatsLife.

Hi there!
I've been out of the game for a few years now. If I recall correctly there was a 10k Lumen/Stellar giveaway or something close to it back in 2016-2017. Does anyone remember how it was hosted? I can't seem to find where I received mine  Roll Eyes

I think it never happened although it was promised.
We got some 1000 or something first and the rest was never given.
Did it happen later on?

I got here to ask the same question  Cheesy
I know it happened because a friend of mine got his. I never spent them, I just have no clue where I might have stored them so trying to figure out if there are any old timers here who might remember where they were first handed out.

No.
They sent a 1000 in 2 different waves when Stellar was launched.
We were supposed to get the other 9000, but by logging into my account, I can see now that that didn't happen.
38  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Calling iluvbitcoins....are you scamming me or what? on: January 16, 2021, 06:04:01 PM
Update:  iluvbitcoins paid in full plus an "apology tip".

Thank you for making things right, bro.  I don't know how a miscommunication happened, but right now it doesn't matter.  I'm going to remove my neg from your trust page right after I post this.

Thank you, and sorry for the inconvenience again.
Since the first reply took 12 hours I figured it wasn’t urgent and didn’t see you replying right away since I was AFK.
Hope the day and a half didn’t cause any problems.
39  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Calling iluvbitcoins....are you scamming me or what? on: January 16, 2021, 05:39:02 PM
Right, 24 hours would be the bare minimum to allow for someone to respond, however... if you're exchanging PMs about a deal and saying "right now" it's probably a good idea to warn if you're going offline for an extended period of time so I totally understand The Pharmacist's frustration. Hopefully this will get resolved.

No.
He sent me a PM, I replied, then he replied 12 hours later, then I replied and went afk, and here we are now.
