942  Economy / Collectibles / [WTS] Bitcoin Knives Part 3 on: May 26, 2018, 03:00:31 PM
With the falling BTC price, I've decided to fix the price of the BTC knives to 2 mBTC.
Which is around 15$
I believe that's extremely cheap.

It's a follow up of these threads.

947  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CryptoBoreas - Canadian Bitcoin Mining Hosting (As low as $65 CAD per 1 KwH) on: May 22, 2018, 11:29:09 AM
No, unfortunately not anytime "soon" (depending on what you mean by soon). See our website and send us a contact request if you want to be added to the customer waiting list.

Do you have any timeframe in mind? A rough estimate?

I've been on the waiting list since 12th February  Cheesy
948  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CryptoBoreas - Canadian Bitcoin Mining Hosting (As low as $65 CAD per 1 KwH) on: May 22, 2018, 11:07:29 AM
Thank you for your quick response - greatly appreciated.

I've also seen that some of the hosted mining facilities in the US are at capacity and are still getting huge interest from folks who want their equipment hosted there. I wonder if capacity constraints allows some miners to charge what they want (within reasonability). Could that also be at play here in Canada? Anyway, I guess I should just call some of the more expensive guys, such as Quotecolo and Mining Colocation, to understand why they are charging higher fees (I don't see them active here in the forums).

Two more questions: 1. Are your services/offering still the same as in 2014 when you first initiated this post? 2. How much KWH capacity do you have?

The services are the same. Nothing has changed besides that we now have more gear under our wings. You mean free capacity? At the moment zero, but we hope to get some more power either this year or the next.

Not any time soon though? :/

951  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Civil War in South Africa and Suidlanders on: May 18, 2018, 08:02:31 PM

You don' know what you are talking about.

What I've seen on the streets in Durban and Capetown was that whites, were the peacemakers.

Racial hatred and violence was largely between the major tribes, but not toward the whites.

Tell that to OP  Wink

So the farm attacks weren't against whites?
And Mokaba wasn't singing Kill the Boer at a huge rally?

I'm sorry, but singing Kill the Boer seems to be sorta wrong.
Especially when there's 500 farm attacks / year and being a farmer is more dangerous than being a cop.
952  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Transferwise - Worldwide Bank Accounts on: May 18, 2018, 07:58:28 PM
To answer your question above, you get an IBAN account, but not under your name, you get THEIR IBAN account no.! What you're looking for is probably something Revolut is closer to providing... which I use myself. You get your own IBAN with them.

The problem is I have to travel to Hong Kong in order to open a bank account and a ticket overseas is quite expensive.
I once traveled to London to open an account with HSBC, we never heard back from them.
I'm thinking of the worst currently, paying a 1000$ for a plane ticket and not accomplishing anything.

How about Estonian e-residency then? You open a business in Estonia, completely recognised by the government and by the EU, you only need to collect it (the ID) in person - register a business along with whatever licences you need while you're at it. Or the cheaper route of engaging some other entity to do it for you (still will set you back several thousand euros though). Nothing shady about this.

More taxes in Estonia.

Do I really need a bank account with my name?  Cheesy
I really don't lol

My question is will I be able to use transferwise if I don't have a bank account at all?

I am signed up with you all and have been for almost a year what are the odds of hitting the daily bonus, I usually see 150 or so online what is the total signups?

By daily bonus are you thinking of LuckyJack?
I think it doesn't have a lot to do with being online since a lot of people don't opt in to LuckyJack even if they were drafted.
Dunno what the odds are though.

Ireland is the third largest island in Europe. It is only natural that Irish folk will want to play at biggest BTC online casino such as Betcoin.ag's Bitcoin casino.

Since when is Betcoin the biggest BTC casino?
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Mental Responses That Will Make You Lose Money on: May 17, 2018, 05:45:29 PM
The raising stakes one is definitely one a lot of people fall victim to. I have even been a victim myself numerous times over the year, e.g. I'll just keep doubling up until eventually I win.... Until I get an unlucky streak and lose a lot of money. People need to understand statistics, they assume that they are the only score that matters, when in reality they are part of a cohort of people which constitutes the average. Just because extraordinary events seem unlikely to a single person, across a cohort it is quite possible, and the more times you double up, the more chance you're going to get screwed.

I agree this one is the worst of all.

All the others make you lose your bank, but this one makes you get a mortgage and gamble your house away in the belief you're going to break even.

I've lost almost a BTC with this  Angry
