21  Economy / Lending / Re: 1.1BTC loan required, collateral available on: July 24, 2015, 05:55:18 PM
Hi folks,

I require a 1.1 BTC loan for 21 days.

Loan Amount: 1.1BTC
Duration: 21 days
Amount to Repay: 1.265BTC
Interest: 15%
Collateral: Your choice of a .COM, .NET or .IO domain worth $300+ (list available upon request)

If agreeable, please use trusted forum escrow to facilitate the transaction.

Thank you.

What domains exactly can you offer as collateral? I can fund the loan if the domain(s) can really be sold easily and immediately for more than BTC1.265 (very few can) and not only it was estimated by a site to be worth that amount. What registrar are your domains on? Will you push them to the lender/escrow's account?

I will push the requested domain to the escrow's account. I will PM you the domains available and their corresponding registrar.

EDIT: Can also be pushed to the lender (you) if we're not using escrow.

23  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: July 24, 2015, 05:10:50 PM
I had more than 1 bitcoin a few days ago. I will have more than 1 bitcoin in a couple of weeks.
Bitcoin! Bitcoin everywhere!
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most beautiful block explorer ever ? on: July 24, 2015, 05:09:36 PM
It's definitely beautiful, but it's all a big distraction. People with "Ooo shiny!" syndrome probably won't be able to make proper use of it.
25  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: July 24, 2015, 05:08:25 PM
Invested in LTCGear and ZeusHash. I invested over $6000 worth of bitcoin in LTCGear (most of it was reinvested earnings) and finally had to sell my account for chump change just last week. ZeusHash has had my MHS contract frozen which cost a total of about 3BTC. It's been frozen for the past 8 months and there is zero support, as well as no way for me to sell the account. Cloud mining is horrible, I tell you!
26  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin Is British - Change the Forum Language Pack on: July 24, 2015, 05:03:06 PM
I've always been a firm believer in providing options or choice. It would make sense there was a dropdown to select your language, e.g. US English or UK English, similar to how timezones are handled.

.....typical Yank who can't take a joke....likes to re-write history....

You think Brit invented the internet - eh?  lol.

Yep, its official: Sir Tim Berners Lees invented the internet

http://www.wired.com/2015/03/top-12-answers-sir-tim-berners-lees-reddit-ama/

The Yank mag Wired said so  Tongue

The title 'Sir' means the internet inventor is a Knight of the British Isles.

At some point Satoshi will be given a Knighthood too. Bookmark this post for future reference.

Even Bill Gates was knighted, so it's not limited to just British citizens.
27  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase sucks on: July 10, 2015, 01:45:56 PM
They've always sucked. They don't even have their office address listed on their website. The address they have is a mail forwarding service.
28  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where can I find website building services catered to bitcoins/escrow ? on: July 10, 2015, 01:40:11 PM
If you're still looking for developers or service providers, send a private message and we can discuss more about this.
29  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitcoin Advertising Network recommendations on: July 10, 2015, 12:16:44 PM
Hey folks,

I've been looking through the forums for a good ad network for publishers as we're building a few blogs and looking for alternatives to Google AdSense. So far, I've come across coinurl and a-ads as being good options. I also checked out AdBit, but they only have about 4 different ad sizes, and 300x250 medium rectangle is no where to be found. Meanwhile, seeing quite a number of bad experiences with BitMedia.io.

What are your experiences with other services and what would you recommend?
30  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are there any major businesses that accept Bitcoin directly? on: July 09, 2015, 02:17:27 PM
I don't think there are any that accept bitcoin directly just yet due to the high volatility of the currency.
31  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does anyone have any suggestions for this payment processing? on: July 09, 2015, 02:16:27 PM
Looks like the Android link takes you to a Chinese app store while the iOS link takes you to the Apple Store.

Android: http://a.app.qq.com/o/simple.jsp?pkgname=com.epay.wallet
iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/epay-wallet/id977966424?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D4
32  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does newegg.com Safe? on: July 09, 2015, 02:13:17 PM
NewEgg is a pretty reputable computer store and they've been around for a long time. They only ship within the US though.
33  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to get listed on Chinese Exchanges on: July 09, 2015, 02:12:31 PM
I guess the most important thing would be able to speak and understand Chinese.
34  Economy / Goods / Re: Any interest in cupcakes for bitcoin? on: July 09, 2015, 02:05:31 PM
This seems like a nice idea, and almost everyone loves cupcakes. How will deliveries be handled though? I've never encountered a cupcake delivery service.
35  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Ore-Mine.org - 100% Real income! Mining in the form of the game. 500+ BTC paid. on: July 09, 2015, 02:03:54 PM
So this is pretty much a faucet disguised as a game? Creative, but it could do with a better looking page.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is Mark Karpells doing these days? on: July 08, 2015, 01:05:17 PM
Probably living comfortably off stolen *cough* lost coins.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain split of 4 July 2015 on: July 05, 2015, 12:49:57 PM
So what exactly was responsible for this error?

39  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: btcjam is scammer on: July 03, 2015, 01:12:12 PM
You can try Bitcoin Lending Club. They do detailed tracking on lending and repayments and they've got a very low default rate.
40  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E Disputed Claims Support Group on: July 03, 2015, 01:10:51 PM
They need to hire better English speaking support staff.
