The problem with CPFP is you have to pay an additional fee for at least two transactions, rather than just one with RBF. And at the moment we are seeing long chains of unconfirmed transactions, which makes CPFP prohibitively expensive or entirely impossible.
Swap BTC into LTC, tranfer it and reswap it back saves a lot of time and fees. If its in an exchange wallet (where you are not the real owner of your bitcoins), then yes. But with self-custodial wallets, you have to pay transaction fee in BTC for swapping to LTC (or amy other coins) too. So this idea is not very useful. And it's not very recommended to keep majority of your funds in an exchange. They can stop your withdrawals, ban you or kick you out anytime.

~snip Inputs are unconfirmed from the Yomix payment transaction.
Imo, the parent transaction needs to get confirmed first before you can push the given tx. Im unable to push it through viabtc free accelerator and Im sure paid service used by OP wouldnt work in this case as well. Focus should be on the unconfirmed input.

I tried to send: Datum: 2023-05-09 22:04
Are you sure you paid 40$ as fee for this tx ? On the block explorer it shows you've paid 46642 sats (~13$) in fee which was normal according to the mempool conditions. I hope you were using a self custodial wallet (where you control your own private keys).

Thanks for ansers! My english is poor so it kind of hard to explain. But I was trying to send about 80 $ and the anser i got was i to small amount to send. I´m not an expert so i started to try diferent solutions. For example i change fee , jast drag the buttom. I started to get desparate i just put the fee at max just to fet it done. The only thing that happend was that they draw 40 $ from my account and the rest 40 $ was not even sent.
If its not personal, can you share your transaction id here so we can dig more into it to give you detailed information about what happened. Also which wallet did you use to spend the funds ? I guess you transferred funds at the worst possible time (highest congestion). PS: Always check the fee rates on mempool.space before you proceed next time.

USA CPI Data Update: CPI: 4.9% YoY, 0.4% MoM Forecasted: 5.0% YoY, 0.4% MoM
Core: 5.5% YoY, 0.4% MoM Forecasted: 5.5% YoY, 0.4% MoM
Its a great news guys, the inflation is falling gradually if not drastically. Now, hopefully the fed wont raise its interest rates the next month. Markets are already celebrating today's data anyways.

After 24 hours nothing happened, and now you claim again that you did something and the transaction is still unconfirmed like all the others you supposedly accelerated. There seem to be too many naive people who believe in fairy tales these days...
I think he did accelerate mine transaction through viaBTC paid acceleration service. But viaBTC were too slow to mine blocks yesterday thats why it maybe is taking longer than expected for txs to go through even if accelerated already?!
I offer free acceleration service for screwed up BTC transactions
Just leave me your BTC transaction and I'll be happy to help you, I have a paid service and I can help you at no cost
I offer this due to high demand for transactions that average 400k without confirming
Can you push this for me ? Its a 14sat/vB transaction. Cant accelerate it through viaBTC's free accelerator from here. It will probably not get confirmed by simple re-broadcasting. Lets see if you can do it. txid: 5493ce06c620636cf4ca0a94cb4512cd215c51f8a0cd4b8cde6665106cfc209b Confirmed Thanks a lot mate. My transaction finally got confirmed after a lot of waiting time atlast!.

Woah guys, the mempool just got more crazier than yesterday. I saw the low priority was ~250sats/vB yesterday and now its ~410 sats/vB. But binance decided to open withdrawals again early on. Wonder whats gonna happen next lmao. Im curious to see how much worse the mempool can get.
Also whenever the mempool got highly congested in the past, we witnessed a drop in bitcoin's price thereafter Edit: And they paused it again, lol! https://twitter.com/binance/status/1655380303383261185

Due to high congestion in the mempool, binance has stopped its withdrawal services for the bitcoin network. Is that a good move ? Imo they could've just raised the fees option and let ppl decide if they still want to withdraw with a higher fee rather than completely haulting it and not letting anyone withdraw. Also, any thoughts upon when will the mempool start cooling itself ? Its on a slow rise everyday and its surprising to see its getting hot even on the late weekend. Does btc accelerator actually work? I thought It was just some kind of joke... ViaBTC's free tx accelerator is legit. Once you are able to submit your transaction there (which resets every UTC hr), it usually gets confirmed when they mine their next block. I will try to add your tx in the next hr if Im free or somebody else could do it as well. And if it failed the sent amount will still go back into my wallet right? Yes, no need to worry about this.
Edit: Woops, I guess I couldnt accelerate your tx as it says too low fee.

I am having same issues currently I made a transfer of 0.00142BTC and the transaction fee was charged about $4 so I had to readjust the fee to about $1.7 since then till now there have been no confirmation Don't calculate your fee in terms of usd to get an estimate of your transaction priority. In your case, the fee per kvB part is little bit (~25%) below the average fee (should've been 0.00075 BTC per KvB and it would be confirmed by now), but it should get confirmed as the mempool clears itself out during the late weekend maybe?!. My opinion is just wait for few more hours and see.

|

Haha, you just got yourself into a similar situation like mine mate. Mempool suggests you should have paid atleast ~50sats/vB in fee even for low priority transaction (while you just paid ~10.7sats/vB). But I guess your transaction can be accelerated through viabtc accelerator since it meets their conditions.

Well, too late for this transaction, but in future you could migrate to a better wallet which does support RBF. There really is no excuse for wallets not to support RBF when it's been around for 8 years. Could you suggest some best wallets which got RBF support on android ? AFAIK, my favourite ones like bluewallet and mycelium both doesnt have it unfortunately. None. You'll either need to wait for it to be confirmed, or wait for it to drop from the majority of mempools altogether. Just a quick update, I didn't have to wait for 14days for this. Surprisingly, the transaction got dropped off (maybe coz mempool was showing that it purged tx under ~7sat/vB?) and my balance got returned. I just made another transaction with a higher fee (~75sat/vB) and it just got 8confirmations already. A relief finally.

Do you think it is enough to leave the tag without referencing? You can but then the tag wont carry much weightage if it is given without evidence, by the future readers. If not, can you think how to reference it properly? You may use this archieved link as the reference: https://archive.is/LYkSK.

Just wanna know what this sat/byte is and how to set it effectively.
It is simply the transaction fee you pay in sats divided by the size of your transaction in bytes. Also, the term sats/byte is used mainly for legacy addresses only. As we are shifted to segwit you'll see the term "sat/vB" used more often. Besides mempool.space you can also check bitcoinfees.earn.com to predict your best fee rate in sats/byte.
