21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is just one coin... on: October 13, 2018, 03:10:16 PM
If there are people who would worry, those are the people who are not holding Bitcoin today because any moment Bitcoin will rise and that is not a prediction but a fact. The adoption of Bitcoin is increasing day by day and I won't be surprise if one day we are on an all time high again.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to effectively promote projects? on: October 13, 2018, 03:40:17 AM
Now wondered to promote projects to the masses. In the past I used Facebook ads, it was very effective.
If you set yourself the task to promote your crypto project, what promotion strategy would you choose?
Does it make sense to use Google advertising?
Do you believe in the effectiveness of bounty programs?
There is no doubt that bounty campaign helps many ICO to effectively advertise their project because bounty participants are directly engage with the right prospect specifically in Sig campaign where many investors make bitcointalk.org as a reference when they want to invest in Bitcoin ICO token. Social media also help to get new investors in crypto space.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: October 12, 2018, 02:44:35 PM
In the following year ETH will overwtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency. I would dump your bitcoin while despite everything you can.  Undecided
This is a big bang joke that I ever read so far and it is good to read something like this while the market is tumbling. Sometimes you need a good joke to ease the loneliness of  losing in your portfolio. Ethereum needs to address it's present competitor which is Ripple before it aim to replace the Bitcoin.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing decision on: October 12, 2018, 07:42:30 AM
Is current time good for buy more coin?
Normally, I will buy more when the price of coin is dropped. But with this situation of the market, I doubt the effectiveness of buying decision. Please give me an advise!
If you are in doubt and can't decide which coin to buy, sell it is better to buy Bitcoin than altcoin because you can't go wrong with Bitcoin because it is the coin that have an assurance to grow its value  and most stable than all.
25  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why did you have faith in btc? on: October 11, 2018, 10:46:54 PM
Seeing btc going down for quite some time now, I thought people will be withdrawing their investment to shares and others business. But it amaze that btc is gaining more popularity and people are still rushing btc. What is the secret behind btc?
Just like in stock market,  if someone sell his stocks there are always someone who are willing to buy for it. Bitcoin will not go anywhere except to grow and stay. It already surpassed many obstacles and it cannot be destroyed by a recycled bad news.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted altcoins? on: October 11, 2018, 08:59:26 PM
Hi there are too many coins in crypto
It makes difficult to find out which one is trusted which is not
So please suggest me the name of altcoins which you will find most trusted and profitable
It helps me a lot
Thanks
If you want a trusted altcoin it is better to pick on top 20 altcoin in coinmarketcap. Those altcoin are the usual trusted altcoin in the market but you also need to make your own research because each one of us have our own description of a trusted coin.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Reviews, trust them or NOT? on: October 11, 2018, 01:14:40 PM
ICO review cannot be trusted because all of them are bias and many of them are paid to get a good review in their website. I prefer to do your own research if you don't want to lose like what happened to those investors who relied on ICO reviews.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum be more stable in the future? on: October 09, 2018, 08:08:30 PM
Ethereum is young in relation to bitcoin, its market capitalization continues to grow every day. Ethereum became very popular when many tokens started using their smart contracts. Many ICOS are based on the Ethereum platform. Will it be more stable in the future? What do You think about this?
I think it is going to be more stable in the future together with Bitcoin. Although scam ICO in Ethereum platform will drag down Ethereum a little bit that is why Ethereum token creation in its platform should have a high standard qualifications
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Really? Next Bitcoin is Litecoin on: October 09, 2018, 04:38:07 PM
I have seen a lot of rumors out there they are saying next bitcoin is a Litecoin it possible?
Litecoin is a good alternative coin but it is being the next Bitcoin is hard to tell because the competition for altcoin are getting harder and tighter. It needs to compete in terms of speed of transactions, security and cheaper transaction fee. It also needs a new feature that could make it to top.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEW! Bitcoin Smartphone Coming Soon on: October 09, 2018, 02:10:02 PM
If they can make it more affordable by the masses it will be a good phone to buy but if this is very expensive, I would rather buy a hardware wallet to and keep few on an online wallet for a daily transactions.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Psychological fear dominates the market on: October 09, 2018, 12:06:58 PM
The continuous decline in Bitcoin prices may make investors very nervous and many people have lost confidence in Bitcoin as well as crypto.
This is a very normal psychology and nothing strange in life, in any field, there are two emotional state is governed by FEAR and GREED.
Especially in the financial market, not just the crypto market, when prices are rising, people often feel GREED, focusing only on positive trends and never thinking about trends. Negative, when the price goes down, then the person feels FEAR, then focus only on the negative trend and never thought that everything would be positive again.
Talk about this for people to imagine that believing in a current trend is only relative and timed, so look at the market trend with an objective eye (out-of-game) so that If not, then it will not be absorbed in the psychological game of the market. Finance is a game of psychology!
What do you think about this?

Being afraid is normal for beginners but they should conquer their own fear or else they will fall. The only thing that could eliminate their fear is knowledge and apply them to convert it into wisdom.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still worth mining bitcoin in 2018 ? on: October 04, 2018, 07:13:21 PM
My question is if it's still worth buying Asic's and start mining BTC in 2018.

If not mine BTC what other coin is it worth to mine nowadays?
It is not advisable to mine BTC today because you will only get broke if you only have a few hardware compared to big companies that operates in a low cost electricity rate and cold environment.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you use Bitcoin as a practical currency? on: October 04, 2018, 01:43:40 PM
Hello All, I have a question.
If I want to use bitcoin as practical or daily currency then what should I do?
Is American express or VISA offer such kind of opportunity so far?
I am very excited to read something special here: https://reliable.cash/t/can-you-use-bitcoin-as-a-practical-currency/33
Specially these are amazing to me:

Quote
There are many reasons for bitcoin to be not used as a practical currency. Some are listed here.

  • Some users lack the infrastructure required to use bitcoin
Some users lack the knowledge required to use bitcoin
It will not be a good solution for day to day purchase
It takes time to process a transaction that is why it is not practical at all
Not many stores accept bitcoin as a payment either online or offline
    Stability in pricing
Strong network infrastructure required for its payment to process

Now I want to purchase my Pizza using Bitcoin Cheesy
What do you think brothers?
It may not be practical today but it can be enhanced and upgrade soon. Besides Bitcoin today is already considered as a store of value. It may not be on the whitepaper of Satoshi Nakamoto but I believe he already invision it and predicted that the price will soon be high because it has a very limited supply.
34  Other / Off-topic / Re: Soon we would not need banks on: October 04, 2018, 08:00:57 AM
The Ceo of Bitcoin cash recently stated that soon people wouldn't be needing banks anymore.Does it mean the world is going crypto soon or he is just bluffing.
Banks will not go anywhere except to stay and adopt the technology. Ripple is there backup by banks and currently competing with Ethereum in 2nd place. If you don't want banks to take over, avoid buying Ripple.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to increase profit in the market! on: October 03, 2018, 04:38:41 PM
I would like to share how to make money from the market for some Newbies or some people have not earned a profit from the market. I usually check and consider all ICO and participate in some good Bounty and Airdrop . Then waiting for receiving the token to consider whether to Hold or Sell. I convert all to Eth or Coin top. I spent this Eth to Trade and increase my profit from it. Very slowly, and with a certain percentage, everyday and I am accumulating, now I have more than 1Eth, please try on my way.

God's for you because you can accumulate Ethereum without investment. Although there are some token that is worth to hold and not good to sell early. But I agree that almost all token should be sell because majority of them are shitcoin that ruin the reputation of ICO.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM OR RIPPLE? on: October 03, 2018, 01:39:35 PM
Many people start to invest in Ripple instead of Ethereum. These 2 giants are fighting for the second and third place in the list. What do you think is wise to invest to?

Ripple of Ethereum?
Check out the charts in the past and make up your mind:

Ripple: https://www.coinranker.net/cryptocurrency/ripple
Ethereum: https://www.coinranker.net/cryptocurrency/ethereum

If you check the supply of Ripple over Ethereum there are big probability to get bigger profit with Ripple but same risk if you get lost. While Ethereum is more stable and more safer to invest than Ripple.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many projects are dead? on: October 03, 2018, 09:21:21 AM

Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?
I only keep altcoin that are stable and already known in the market, preferably top 20 in cryptocurrency. I choose top  altcoin because too many ICO are popping like mushroom  and I believe majority of it are going no where once the regulation is implemented.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.. on: October 02, 2018, 06:24:26 PM
It is really hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.  After completing all the requirements to be able to get accepted in a bounty campaign, spending much time to participate in forums and not to mention carrying their banners, completing all the tasks and reports then all of a sudden you will just find out that you have been scammed already.  luckily I am not the only one but to think all participants did the same efforts as well as you did.  But it is really happening, lesson learned and could be just charge it to experience and move on.  If we could only find out at early stage if we were in to scam or a legit bounty campaign.  Who would really know anyway?
Finding the right bounty campaign that is not a scam is like finding the right ICO to invest. You have to do a research on their team and their project. It is very important to check the profile and credibility of their team members because they are the one who will run the project.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you make money from ICO? on: October 02, 2018, 11:27:14 AM
An initial coin offering is similar in concept to an initial public offering (IPO), both a process in which companies raise capital, while an ICO is an investment that gives the investor a cryptocoin, more commonly known as a coin or a token in return for investment, which is quite different to the issuance of securities as is the case in an IPO investment. Do you invest in ICO? and has you make money from it?
I don't invest in ICO because ICO today cannot be trusted and devalued after it is added in a trading platform. But there are some potential ICO out there but it is hard to figure out which ICO is the best to invest that is why I prefer known altcoin than ICO to minimize the risk of getting loss.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake ico and bounty on: October 02, 2018, 09:28:16 AM
Pls what are the best way to detect fake ico and fake project... We can't continue working to promote them and later discovered that it is bounch of fake... We really need tools to detect fake ico
There are some hint that it is a fake ICO like no team profile in their website.  The price of of ICO is high in and there is no github. Those are some examples but other scammers are con artist that they can provide github and everything and at the end they will leave the project and disappear.
