21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some unique advantages of online gambling ? on: December 11, 2018, 06:18:45 PM
Using Online betting like casino, sportsbook and racing is much more convenient now a days, especially when your betting site have app, you can bet anywhere, and when you use BTC all your winning will be straight up to your e-wallet you just have to find a right betting site for your betting needs.

and the more convenient online gambling could be, the more potential of good business for the online casinos. Well, for me, as long as you are just playing for fun with the amount of money that you can really afford to lose, then it will be a win-win solutions for both the house and the gambler.
22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Video] How do Casinos make money? on: December 11, 2018, 06:13:17 PM
Thanks for the share up and i can say this is more psychological which i do really agree on what are the facts being pointed out on that infographics.

Just to point out some HE being mentioned on that video.

Slots HE- 17%
Keno- 25%
Blackjack - 0.8%
Craps- 0.8%
Baccarat- 1.06%

I fully agree on this line stated by a former dealer.

"I chose to leave because gaming exploits the negative characteristics of a human nature to extract as much money from each customer as fast and as frequently as possible."

This wont really be applicable on physical casinos but also on online casinos as well yet behavior can be seen either both sides.

nice notes there from the video mate.
I think it only shows that the more emotional you become, the more you are really prone to losing because the system is already designed to win due to the house edge advantage.
But we are just human beings and that is the sad truth that addicted to gambling is getting through as of this very moment.
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think you are a gambling expert? on: December 09, 2018, 11:54:43 AM
Sometimes, I imagine that I don't have to be a gambling expert, but I only want to be a lucky man in the gambling games so I can win in every round in every time I played. But unfortunately, this is just happening in my dreams, and I don't have a bit of luck in the gambling games.  And I think to become a gambling expert, and we do not only have skill but the most important, we need to have luck because gambling games are the probability chances and every person will have different opportunities to be the winner.

that is true and I could not agree more with you mate. If we see some high rollers and are on positive profit, some of us can say that they are expert but I think for me, they are just lucky but more so, they have more big capitals than us. They have lots money to fund to their gambling sessions so they more chances of winning back their previous losses.

That is just for me though.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Make money with martingale applied to dice game ? on: December 09, 2018, 11:51:21 AM
Hello, I know martingale  is useless for long term for dice game  but   if you have a big bank and can support  1 serie of 20 loose, you will always win no ,?
The world record  for the roulette is one serie of  26 red , it will never happen again, the odd are just very low
So if we   do martingale  with a bank that can support  20-25 loose, we will definitly make money

When you are playing a game that is based on pure luck, you will going to still lose even if you do martingale. This is because the casinos have already setup that at the end of the day they are going to win because of the house edge advantage.

However, if you win big and cashout, then you are really lucky but the house will still be able to recover from other bets of other players.
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The key reason for gambling on: December 09, 2018, 11:47:16 AM
To be honest, before, my goal was to really earn money. But thankfully, I was able to learn it early that I won't or I will be really having a hard time if that is my goal because there is always the house edge advantage.

However, I still do gamble sometimes, but these times, I only do it for fun especially if my team is playing. I gamble in basketball game.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: December 09, 2018, 11:44:19 AM
As long as you don't play too long and you are winning and cashed it out, you are technically a winner.
However, if you play longer time and even while having lots of winning already, tendency is you are going to lose because of the house edge advantage.
27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: December 08, 2018, 05:13:46 AM
For me, the difference is the scalability and convenience - with the traditional gambling, you are limited with time and usually the process is quite slow and given the fact that you go to the place and gamble (of course, you will need to go back home)

But with online gambling, you can play on autopilot in 24 hours and 7 days a week right at the comfort of your home.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you play at a casino where payments are delayed for days? Why? on: December 08, 2018, 05:11:10 AM
Ever since I gambled at cryptocurrency casino's that offered instant withdraws, I haven't used any other online casino that imposes 'reviews' on payouts.
I'm wondering if other people still play at online casinos where they have to wait for days before their withdraw is processed.

Why would you even play at such a casino?
They usually even encourage you to cancel your withdraw, to keep you playing. Seems somewhat manipulative to me... Why would anyone support that?

What I noticed is that, when you are still newly playing with the online casino and you will going to withdraw a big amount of coins right away, they tend to hold it for a while to check if there were some issues and is their system like bonuses are taking advantage and the like.

I think the delay is just for security purposes and they will eventually send you the coins after the investigation.
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fiat or crypto betting in bear market? on: December 08, 2018, 05:07:56 AM
Doesnt a declining price mean you can look back and see that you have lost less then you thought.   Also just doing nothing would be discouraged because the value is going down with inaction

Where as if you take an account balance, bet and get winnings you can withdraw your original balance to spend and still retain enough to keep gambling either way.     I'm not sure everyone views it this way but seems to be a case of use it or lose it to some extent, might as well take the odds and roll the dice?

I get that mate. Everything comes to him who hustles while he waits. As what is happening in the market now, those who stay holding are really losing a lot its value (but it doesn't follow though that it is already a lost because the price can bounce up again) but for those people who invest, trade, and find other ways to grow their assets, seems to be doing fine even in the current down market.
Different from trading if you can choose which currency you will hold, so when the price drops you will surely know and you can convert it to fiat directly. while gambling,  the players cannot predict prices and they cannot convert directly when prices fluctuate , I myself prefer to use Fiat to gamble when conditions are still like this..

You are right mate, there is less control with gambling compared to trading. In trading, you are the master of your trade and you will be the one to dictate as to when to but and sell on profit and until when to hold.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think you are a gambling expert? on: December 08, 2018, 05:03:40 AM
I don't consider my self as a gambling expert.
I do have some system before that mitigates the amount of loses but I still could not consider myself as an expert.
For me, the expert ones are those good players in poker and no one on games that are based on pure luck.
Indeed no one is an expert and no one has command over gambling. Here all of us are learners and we will have to learn the small things about gambling. There are so many other games we can use to become an expert just like snooker, cards and so many other which takes huge amount to bet and gamble.

You are right mate. and in the game based on pure luck, the only way you can learn to master is the bankroll and session management coupled with the payout and amount of increase to bet in case of some loses.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: December 08, 2018, 04:59:36 AM
I have a friend who is really a certified professional gambler and he does it for a living among other sources of his income.
He once told me that the mindset should be focused on the numbers and the pre-planned bets and not on the emotion side.
Furthermore, he said that he usually only celebrate when he is done with the session and cashed out already.

33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: December 07, 2018, 02:32:07 AM
When I was still hooked to gambling a couple of years ago, I always have the urge of playing every single day and could not stand without playing in few hours. I even bet with my phone, after playing with my laptop, during bed time.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chat in gambling on: December 07, 2018, 02:26:36 AM
Bitsler already have this function and aside from Chatting with another player this also serves as the avenue where the site can run instant contests and reward those who are online and continues to play or participates in such instant contests given that they are in a qualified level. For those who doesn't want chats, it can be easily removed and added again if needed. Its a good function actually that sites should also add in their site.

It is actually fun to go to chat but I suggest not to the general chat but go to country-specific chat - that way, you are not bombarded with just any random chats but can connect with your fellow countrymen.

However, there are really people that doesn't want to go to chat, they can simply ignore it.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the most trustable and famous gambling website? on: December 07, 2018, 02:24:02 AM
Sites that I tried and so far trustable are the following:

  • primedice
  • sportsbet.io
  • fortunejack
  • bitsler
  • etheriumcrash

I know there are other casino sites out there that are also trustable and enjoy to play with because of their user interface and support.
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: December 06, 2018, 05:13:50 AM
really feel very happy to win in gambling, but it becomes a reference for us to play in a bigger bet again, because the desire to taste winning a gamble to be higher
Yeah, winning (money) is the best motivation to gamble again (if you mean motivation by saying reference)

Winning in any field is a pleasant experience but when you win in gambling it is just awesome. Since Gambling is all about luck and we are not sure if we would win or lose in the next move. Winning in gambling surely is a thing of joy.

Gambling really is fun. That is the very thing that casinos are doing, to make it more fun and entertaining so that more people will going to gamble and in the process, because the casino has house edge advantage, they will make more profit.

38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: December 06, 2018, 05:09:02 AM
I gamble for fun and to socialize with my friends or other people. I honestly think that gambling is not a good hobby to start with. Most in my family likes gambling, I think it's a complete waste of time and money. If you play for fun, it would be less stressful and you will be more productive.
Very well said. Gambling for fun its not a waste of time if you are looking for an activity to remove your stress.

You'll be less productive if your main goal is to make money. I've done that before and I can't say that its a total waste of time, you'll get something in return but most of it are not in our favor.

I second to this mate.
If we are doing it for fun in anything in life, not just on gambling, the process seems light and less stressful.
However, if you gamble for profit, it is really emotion extensive and very stressful.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chat in gambling on: December 06, 2018, 04:53:42 AM
Good evening!

Almost every casino or Dice site already have the chat for community to connect.

I'm thinking about creating the chat functionality from scratch in order to provide other companies that don't know how to start with it.
Therefore, I'd be very grateful if your could tell me your opinion on what functionalities the chat in gambling site should have and why?

That is a good idea, but I think most of the gambling sites has already the chat in mind even before they launch their sites.
But if you can add some cool features, why not?

It is just a matter of finding your target market and spoil them with the chat features they would love and you are in business Wink
40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tell about Bitcoin gambling site and your opinion & experience on: December 06, 2018, 04:33:48 AM
For sports betting Sportsbet.io seems to be a stable choice. I have deposited and withdrawn BTC here a couple of times (not large amounts) and never had any issue. I like that you bets are in Bitcoin as well. I prefer this over depositing BTC and it then be converted to a USD balance. So far no complaints although limited usage.

For casino based games, my first choice is Vegascasino.io. Great selection of slots as well as multiple other types of games. Bitcoin deposits/withdrawals work just fine for me so far. This is where I mostly gamble with crypto as I enjoy slots for the entertainment factor. I have experienced fast deposit and withdrawal times (except confirmation times) and customer service were helpful via the live chat when I needed to ask about something. So far no complaints although not depositing large sums personally.

For poker, there are not many reputable poker sites that exist yet. Most of the action still remains over at Pokerstars, 888 and Party poker. there are a few up and coming projects which might be worth looking into. When the poker scene finally has a decentralized and provably fair RNG for fair shuffling it could become much more interesting game, assuming that anti-cheat detection can match or better the capabilities of AI bots. virtue.poker is the one I am watching for future developments.

Same here, I do all of my sportsbetting at Sportsbet.io. This is not to say because I wear it on my signature but I just bet in the platform when I see my favorite basketball team playing.

Just for the info though, I am not a heavy gambler. I just gamble sometimes when I feel gambling and not really on a regular basis.
