401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: January 14, 2018, 01:34:34 PM
I will sell when I get a profit, I never set how much profit I should get because it all depends on the price and market conditions at that time, if the price starts to fall I will sell it even if I get a little profit than i have to hold my bitcoin again, or if the price is still rising then I will hold my coins while watching the market movement.

This is effective but kind of stressing in the most part especially when you already seeing that the market is going high and you already have good amount of profit and you still hold but all of the sudden the price will go down in split of seconds or minutes versus you have an automatic sell position that when triggered will going to sell it for you.

Although at the end of the day, it is where we are most comfortable with that is important - if you are good at timing when to sell without any fixed sell position that is good and same is true if you are just comfortable setting up automatic sell position at profit.
402  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: January 14, 2018, 01:29:43 PM
Knowledge and experience will help you to manage your emotion, when you master the skills, your prediction of price movement will increase and when things is more predictable you won't be panic anymore, panic selling is the worst emotion when it comes to trading, it can cause your profit to decrease and even lost your money
Yeah, I learned to control my emotions very well because I don't deviate from what I originally planned for. Before I buy new coins from the market, it may take couple of days before I made my final decision. And once I made it there is no turning back from it. At first, study the coin very well and then invent into it and don't let any other coin distract you if that coin is not falling.

Pre-planned trading strategies is like winning the battle without even starting it yet. That should always be the case and you should not be like a blind soldier who go to war and just shoot at everywhere because you won't go that far and you will not be a good trader if that is your actuations.
403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: January 14, 2018, 01:20:08 PM
If you're worried to the point where it affects your health, it means you're in to heavy.   If it's just concern, well, that's completely normal with any kind of investment.

I think its not normal. If you can't take the heat then you have to get out of the market ASAP because anything worst could happen to you.

with this high prices i only hold bitcoin for short time only.
more ban exchange sites and less interest to buy small amount of bitcoins

Actually if you don't have funds to buy 1 BTC, its better to accumulate then in small parts. And later you you wouldn't realized that you already so much bitcoin that it's more than 1 BTC in your wallet.

I really don't like to worry to much as far as the price of bitcoin goes. For me it will go up in the future. So I just hold my coins, do some trading to earn profit, rinse and repeat.

That is right mate. If we are a believer to bitcoin, this should be our mind setting and we need to make it sure that aside from holding our bitcoins, we also need to find other ways to grow our holdings through investment and trading - we just got to well equip ourselves with the right information, knowledge, and skills to trade cryptocurrencies.
404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: January 14, 2018, 01:16:24 PM
Everyone's can use bitcoin coz it's a digital currency that's why illegal activities can use bitcoin to send and receive transaction so it wont connect to any central banks so governments will not track them.

It is very alarming to know that people without conscience still make way to use bitcoin illegally for the crimes. It might affect the transaction of trading and some that use bitcoin for buying. What’s sad about this is that, there is no existing law yet that supports and gives care for bitcoin users.

As long as you do all due diligence to prevent yourself from being a victim of a scam, you don't really need to worry about holding or having a bitcoin. Criminals do everything to do illegal things in everything including bitcoin and even much more with fiat money.
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: January 14, 2018, 01:14:19 PM
Thought it was a scam wayback 2015, but many of my friends have started doing their own research and tried to understand how it works. Considering the value or what it has given to some successful bitcoin users, I still think that it's not too late because there are still many days ahead.

Of course bitcoin is not a scam. Even right at the beginning it was invented, bitcoin is not a scam but an innovation that look forward in the future to alternative currency to fiat where the latter is highly regulated by the government while bitcoin is a decentralized form.
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: January 14, 2018, 01:11:55 PM
because if we HOLD fiat, the asset will not increase, then now try if you hold the current bitcoin.
the asset will be able to rise, because bitcoin is a form of investment / asset that is highly recommended for us HOLD

That is so true, holding fiat money will depreciate its value due to inflation and the more the government is going to make more paper money, the more it will decrease its value in the process.. However, with bitcoin, it has the potential of going high in value because it is a limited resource like that of gold.
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Everyone already knows about bitcoin" no.. no they do not.. on: January 14, 2018, 01:07:39 PM
Quote
Today Bitcoin is more popular compared because of the good and bad hype of mass media and social media, although more now knows Bitcoin most of them are not yet invested nor interested.

In my office a few months ago I can never talk with anyone who knows about crypto currency but now people in my workplace at lease have a little idea what crypto currency is. I hope that this will change in the future.

Besides november and december 2017, I never saw strangers talking about bitcoin and altcoins. Now everybody knows and they trade them actively on websites. It was totally spreaded out around the folks.

That is true because leading news media like CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg, and some local news stations are talking about bitcoin and even financial influencers like Robert Kiyosaki are also talking about it. Because of that buzz, many people get interested in joining in and investing to bitcoin.
408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Can We Make Sure Bitcoin Never Ends? on: January 14, 2018, 10:39:17 AM
As long as we keep on investing on Bitcoin. And trusting our funds to it, bitcoin will never end. Bitcoin stays atop because we still believe and supporting on it. Once we draw our backs from bitcoin, then it will probably shutdown.
We as the user and investor of bitcoin, it is in our hands on how we are going to keep this for a lifetime, and since we are million of people using bitcoin nowadays I think that it will never end, after seeing its best and worst part still we are here supporting this kind of innovation.

That is true - the innovation of bitcoin and the rise of other cryptocurrencies is really worth the investment because it could be the future and it is slowly happening now - look at kodak, who was the leader in the camera film industry decades ago and loses its profitability in the advent of digital cameras, is now launching its own crypto still the same in the photography industry.

We can really look where this is heading - the future!
409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: January 14, 2018, 10:35:44 AM
In my opinion luck is what mostly matters in gambling. Without luck you cannot take home anything even if you have plentiful experience. Luck must be on your side to win in every game.
Experience matters in same instances especially when making decisions but not in every game. Luck is the principal thing when it comes gambling and far better and important than experience or any strategy.

Experience is good for games that require skills like poker games - but in games that are based in pure luck like dice games, it does not really matter because what matters most is how lucky you are on that game session you are playing.
410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction. on: January 14, 2018, 10:31:56 AM
Greediness.
Greediness makes every gambler addicted. Even how responsible and disciplined you are, still you can't stand against the way gambling can make a person addicted. No matter how hard you try to avoid addiction if you are hit by greed then no one will help you to get out of it but yourself.
No wonder people are unable to completely stop gambling, their greed are so intertwined that there is simple no way for them to get out of it. They want to win and when they do win, they still gamble and eventually lose it all.

Greed is one of the prime factors why a supposed lucky winner will going to lose it all in just a blink of an eye. That is too bad because even if the gambler already earned a good amount of winnings, he would still play on hoping to win more and that is a bad thing because the house edge will play against you at anytime and you will lose it all.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: January 14, 2018, 10:28:56 AM
I think gambling is so addictive because when you win at the bet you will be very happy that you have win and you are addicted to it because your goal is to win the price. And if you lose your want to regain it no matter what because you think that you can regain it and get much higher than your previous reward.

Actually there are so many factors why gambling is so addicting, that is only one of the reason, some are just born in a place where gambling is trendy and it is their culture and that person itself have seen and seeing gambling in his everyday life and he has no choice but to play because that is their way of passing time. Some are just rich enough and they are addicted because that is their hobby and some are waiting for a jackpot revenge and they are thinking that they will get back what they've lost by winning the jackpot.

in places where there are many casinos and all their friends and relatives are playing or gambling, then there are greater chances that that person is going to gamble as well and when he is able to taste some good winning and share of losing, he will tend to play more and in the process get addicted to it.
412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: January 14, 2018, 10:24:36 AM
Invest bro.
For quick $, go to an ICO.

Ez money ez life lool

Nothing comes easy because you need to risk your hard earned money to grow it. There is no guaranty that all ICO will give you profit so you need to choose the correct one to make some money otherwise you may lose money for sure. Where you got a chance to make easy money there only you can lose your money also very easily.

the riskier it is, the more you have chances of earning. But before investing to ICO's, you should at all times do a due diligence in finding a good one to invest with because there are lot of ICO's out there and you just really need to pick one that is good.

I think this is true but it is hard to know what is real and what is not now with different countries starting to add pressure on icos...
Although you are right in this regard that there is differents cenario now being an observer that what is good in investment and what is bad but don’t you think this investing is better than gambling. I always consider two things that are being compared, their pros and cons but here in this case, this comparison is totally getting in investing side. Gambling has not pros rather all cons.
Gambling can never come to the same level of investment. Investment is much secure thing than gambling and the reputation of investor is never ruined in front of other people who are close to him like in the case of gambling. Gamblers have no respect in their society.

However, people call them with bad words and abuse them just because they are doing the activity which is considered a crime in some countries.

Gambling is hated by many especially in societies that abolishes it and when you are gambler in that society, you are most likely be bullied - but this is always not the case because there are gamblers that are highly respected as well because they are high rollers and are generous to others.
413  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: January 14, 2018, 10:16:38 AM
You must have knowledge about trading first, searching for good and popular, and the rate increasing high, then use the small amount of money to trade first to minimize the risks of losing money, do it over and over again until you feel confident and increase the amount.

Very basic and strong advice it is. Yes you need to learn more about this trading. Like if you are trading in these bitcoins or altcoins then surely you need to see what is actually about them. What are the flaws of it, what are the best things about this? How to deal with all this stuff, what are these exchanges, how to trade, best timing for selling and buying. Answer these all and then start with little amount.

I concur that you should practice regularly with a small amount first and once you are confident enough of your trading system, you can already slowly grow your bankroll. Remember, practice is the key - the more you trade (whether you lose or win), the more you will learn and adapt to how to effectively trade cryptocurrencies.
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: January 14, 2018, 10:12:14 AM
It is possible but it takes many years and decades to come up to make banks disappear because there is a lot of people deposits their saving and some government agencies produce money that is used in transactions.

Until there will be very high demand for cryptocurrencies, the government may finally adopt or create their own cryptocurrencies that are founded and transacted in blockchain technology. It is the people's demand and uses that will be the deciding factor in the future.
415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: January 14, 2018, 10:05:19 AM
The only problem in online is cutting card you never know how deep your deck it....
You can never win over house in the long run in online casinos.
also you cant make steady profits from gambling ,its not a job ?

Yeah! Mostly, people thought that gambling brings continuous income or profit but actually now. Now every gamble wins their bets. So I believe that bitcoin is not a way to have a long term source of income. I suggest, when you win again, invest your profit to a more sure market like in bitcoins or turn that  into a real  business my friend.

Yes, if you are lucky enough to win in gambling, better cash it out and invest it to somewhere else or trade it. If you are not yet a trader, you can invest some of that earnings to learn how to properly trade with cryptocurrencies and start it from there.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: January 14, 2018, 10:02:10 AM
I think not only bitcoin being made access or a means of crime and even any aspect there is always a side of crime in it, maybe the future bitcoin will have or apply rules that can reduce the number of crimes using bitcoin.

Crime will always be there no matter what currency there is. Criminals will always find ways how to transact with their illegal activities. Even in fiat money, there is rampant illegal transactions out there and it is not the fiat money concern to eradicate it but the enforcers of the country - same thing with bitcoin, it is not the one who deals with criminals but the enforcers.
417  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: January 14, 2018, 09:57:57 AM
I think it's very risky. My suggestion is better you put a little capital first. Steeped bitcoin so that profit and we can return capital

That is correct  and a very safe way to trade.  Putting your money in a single destination is very risky. Try to put a little  amount first and when it started  to gain some profit you  can add some capital again.
this is where a lot of people may start to loose a lot cause they may just put their fund in just one so better to be more careful for what we are doing specially in trading this is more serious and we just need to take a lot of study before we may take this.

The crypto market is a pure speculation. The price that driven by popularity, news and buzzes makes it hard to predict. One wrong move and you'll done 😂. Diversifying is a must and learning is a responsibility for a trader.

That is so true and that is why we need to make it sure that we stay to our strategy and not befallen trap to emotion trading. When we stick to our strategies, no matter where the market heads, you feel no rush and just execute your strategy.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am now seriously engage to trading! Tradingview or Cryptowatch??? on: January 14, 2018, 09:49:03 AM
Thank you for all the replies mates! I truly appreciate it.. I need to go and check the features of tradingview and get their 30 day trial to learn and maximize its use.. Cryptowatch is quite cheap though I may also purchase its pro subscription what is few $ more a month that can make our trading more convenience for us along the way.

Again, my sincerest thanks to all.

More ideas why tradingview or cryptowatch is good for them are all welcome! Smiley
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: January 14, 2018, 09:30:12 AM
most of us regret not buying sooner. no more regret if you buy now. it's not to late.
My biggest regret about bitcoin is I didn't buy bitcoin in the year 2016 where the price was totally cheap and very affordable. On the other hand, I think if I buy or invest on that year I guess I could become rich now. I agree that it is not too late to invest in bitcoin.

There is also a possibility that when you bought some coins that year, you have also sold it several times over and buy several times at the same time.. Unless you are the kind of person that can wait for too long and hold it even there are some down of bitcoin price.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / I am now seriously engage to trading! Tradingview or Cryptowatch??? on: January 14, 2018, 06:00:19 AM
After many trades done in years, I am now seriously going for it full time and would like to invest with a more bigger bankroll.

I know that you may ask, you have been trading for years and yet you don't know which platform are you using? That question is legit and I also ask myself from time to time.

My max trade currently is .01 per trade but is seriously going to max .05 or .1 per trade - I already have a good system that works for me well with that max .01 and would like to scale that is why I am now asking you these questions Smiley

I have been using both but with the free version - tradingview only has 1 alerts while cryptowatch can have many. Which one is really better with the paid subscription?

I just wanna ask if it is SAFE to integrate your poloniex account to cryptowatch and just trade inside the latter?

Please give your gold input mates! Smiley

Thanks a lot!
