That was the best one to enter too Smiley I only won $20 from it and then next was $100 previously but you know what I didn't even know I won because I paid in BTC and the prize was in USDT, now I checked, I have $200 just from this Jackpot game. This time, most of the big favorites won, and even the tiny favorites won, so I got 7/10. $100 Smiley

Very well worth and looking for this to continue next season too. How did you all guys do?

22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 19, 2024, 02:40:05 PM
Just 100 minutes left before the final PL deadline this season. Can't wait for the games, any chance we have some multicast on some channel? You know what I am talking about, all the goals from all the games and some big chances. Seems like the perfect way to watch this final round when all teams play in the same time slot.

I am looking for this as well, me and my friends are going to head out to look for some place showing it, usually it's going to be full or either City or Arsenal fans watching their games but some of the expat places will show everything.

Should have planned for it earlier but you know how it goes Tongue

Enjoy everyone! Last game!!

I know many more people who have no success but keep trying and have super big egos. Majority traders in forex was like this. Pretending fake success with BMWs and Rolex in profile pics Wink
I have seen people who act like this, and most likely if they keep their big egos, reaching their trading goals and success will be far possible to happen. Traders who focus more on what will impress other people instead of proving to theirselves what they can do in trading will certainly have a hard time on achieving their own success. It’s like they do trading not to gather experience and be skillful on it, but to show to other people what they got in trading, even if it means posting fake photos in their account so that people will praise and envy them.

Dude I got no idea what you just said in the first sentence but anyway nah I don't think anybody is confused about ego and their effects, trading is hard to profit even when you're a nice guy and doing your best.

It's definitely much more harder to profit if you're not focused. Same as any kind of job, but in trading you're also relying on luck more than other jobs.

Trust me, you just work hard, stop listening to dumb quotes about slow or fast success. Who the heck wanna build character when they chasing profits anyway lol

Thank you! Last push before the end, apart from the top two, at least 8 of us are still competing for the other 4 paying spots.
Good luck everyone!
Yeah, we are getting to the finish line quickly. Wrapping up all the leagues and current pools and then a quick pivot to EURO 2024. As it stands we should have at least 3 competitions here on the forum about Euro
* Last Man Standing run be cryptfrka and me, Sponsored by Sportsbet
* Superbru pool - not live yet, will be run by hilarius
* Euro Fantasy, in the talks

Amazing. To be honest I never like the waiting around for football season so I like the fact we have BSFL to occupy us, just that there's nothing to watch so Euro is gonna be the savior for us this time.

Euro fantasy hmm not sure about that maybe I'll play anyway but I don't like fantasy football, somehow my brain doesn't compute to have rivals in the same team Tongue
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: May 18, 2024, 02:49:09 PM
Tsitsipas LOL

There is no truer truth than avoiding Tsitsipas  whenever possible, because he's a freaking clown! I'm just glad my opponent has the same answers as me for that question.

Chelsea really have given me an advantage by overtaking Newcastle, I just need them to complete the task by not losing to Bournemouth on Sunday and then Atalanta win without conceding or a win for Fury would ensure my place in the final 4.

I'm doing everyone a big favor by pointing out the uselessness of Tsitsipas. Then again, Medvedev, Sinner, Alcaraz lately in our rounds are making clown acts too.

Chelsea have been winning games with Cole Palmer lately I would have avoided Newcastle, they were very small favorites vs United, while Chelsea were bigger favorites.

I bet nobody thought Zverev makes it so far in so many tournaments, even if he ends up not to win.
My default pick is usually Zverev but for this question it was about the side of the bracket that he doesn't play in, haha.

Ah we have a Zverev lover here. I have been picking him too or at least thinking hard about it, but if he is on same side as Alcaraz I opt for someone else, those two are 50/50 h2h.

Just realizes BSFL made me look up more tennis than before, without actually watching Smiley

Great announcements jeremypwr. Would love to see one or two of these ambassadors join the forum too and compete with us on BSFL Smiley

Sportsbet will be so big one day people!!

Celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day with a slice of mBTC!

And the other day someone was asking about what happened to the days of Bitcoin drops from Sportsbet! I can't remember my response exactly but I knew something like this was coming up, SB has a strong link with Bitcoin and it never goes away.

Still can't buy pizza with Bitcoin where I live unfortunately, but would be so cool if SB guys would share pizza pics on this day.

In which case I have no character and no ego lol

Not that i'm such a failure, but my old business failed to the point I accumulated huge debts. I'm not complaining, I learnt a lot, I still got a job I never went to jail. Yes, my crypto journey is very slow as every extra I make is split between DCA and paying back my old loans, my freedom will be achieved but in many more years.

Quotes are dumb. I know one or two people who had fast success but were generous and went to 100% charity, I didn't feel even one bit of ego from them.

I know many more people who have no success but keep trying and have super big egos. Majority traders in forex was like this. Pretending fake success with BMWs and Rolex in profile pics Wink

Tsitsipas LOL

I'm not playing but that guy is to be avoided. He will win 1 in 10 times to fool you.

I bet nobody thought Zverev makes it so far in so many tournaments, even if he ends up not to win.

Thank you jayce Smiley
It was a good race. I really need a lot of luck for the next challenge. Hhampuz usually has better predictions than me. If I remember correctly he was the last cup winner and now I'm going to fight against the last cup winner. I'm expecting a tough match. I think my chances are slim, but this race is open to almost anything.

IIRC he had a few free passes last season and his current progress is also a free pass, so don't be too concerned. I'm sure he's a great player, a lot of people are good in BSFL (hence they're in BSFL lol) but don't ignore your own progress also. Luck is there but you also need to be knowledgeable and spot on to pick the good luck Wink
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage on: May 17, 2024, 10:06:19 AM
How's Mendy and Konte's inclusion the biggest highlight from the announcement? I read that players that have picked for recently including Olise (Crystal Palace), Malo gusto who has played a pivotal role in Chelsea's rally from the 10th they have been sitting all season and are currently on venge of finishing above Man Utd in the premier — he was left out too amongst others like Moussa Diaby at Aston Villa.

Those players that were left out are my biggest highlight even though the named players are a very good bunch.

Kante a bit surprising, but not shocking. Mendy's kinda 50/50. So I agree, not even highlight. Kante is in category of 'experienced players playing in shit leagues'. You can see also Wijnaldum who hasn't even been great since leaving Liverpool, now playing in shit league, and still getting callup. I bet a lot of Dutch midfielders are mad lol

Olise is definitely deserved, ter Stegen still made it to Germany, but I doubt he plays much.

I still think ETH ETF doesn't make sense, tho. ETFs are one way to get something very scarce. But anyway, it doesn't hurt BTC to have ETH grow Smiley
That is true, having ETH to join in the ETF world would mean that there will be billions pouring into ETH as well, meaning more money for crypto as well. All these huge companies are buying tens of thousands of bitcoins right now, meaning that it helps us, that was the main reason why we managed to see ATH price before the halving as well, and it is known that after the halving pricecrashes hard, it didn't even crash that hard, it is quite good.

I personally believe that ETF in any coin, especially something as great as ETH, would just help bitcoin world. This of course depends on who they let in, because ETF is something that they give rights to companies to do, and if you pick horrible companies then they may hurt the crypto world.

Two things. First, we haven't seen a big crash hard YET. Doesn't mean it won't happen. In fact, crashes that are delayed tend to take even longer to recover from so I actually think this is a sign to be wary, rather than a good sign.

Again about ETH ETF, I'm not really positive about it. Like I said, it doesn't make much sense, so it feels like it's just a hype thing oh let's follow Bitcoin too.

We all know how that story ends Smiley

But do you think the SEC will approve an ETH ETF? The deadline for the ETH ETF is May 23, and I personally don't think it will be approved that easily. Also, even if ETH is approved, I don't think bitcoin will benefit from this. It is ETH that is benefiting from bitcoin because if the bitcoin ETF is not approved then there will not be any ETF proposed for any altcoin.

Personally, I don't hate ETH that much because I'm here to make a profit and as long as the project can bring profit, I will consider investing, I don't like being too stubborn and then missing out on many opportunities.

Doesn't really matter. Bitcoin ETFs took forever. But if Bitcoin couldn't convince people easily, ETH? It's a different thing outright to me.

And well, anything that's not shitcoin (like Ethereum) should benefit Bitcoin. I mean, even all those wrapped Bitcoin needed Bitcoin, right?

And yes, my stubbornness on ETH lost me out in 2017/18 but anyway, I prefer to be stubborn. Lost out on Ethereum but saved my money from 100 other shit 'Gen 3 crypto'.
31  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is leading crypto exchanges in 2024? on: May 17, 2024, 07:34:24 AM
I think anyone who knows me knows I've always disliked Binance, but to be objective, they are the only ones who've never lost anyone money (even when they got hacked they made sure everybody did not lose funds). Always did withdrawals without issues once you are verified. Always paid their fines and somehow managed to escape being blacklisted by users.

So I agree with everyone here, Binance is the best of the worst (because exchanges are the worst lol).

ByBit is popular but I'm not yet convinced.

Coinbase should be the safest, but 90% of us can't use it.

With only one round left in the Premiership, this loss could mean that Newcastle will be without a European competition in the next season. Chelsea really surprised me after being around 10th place the whole season. Now they only need one more win to secure at least UEFA Conference League. I know that teams don't like that competition, but after such a bad season they will probably be happy about it.

Kind of sad that a team who humiliated PSG will not see Europe competition again so soon after, when teams like Manchester United just had such a useless presence there.

Of course Chelsea probably should be in Europa more than Newcastle but still, a bit sad. I think teams like Newcastle would do really cool in Conference League. But the English get what they deserve after all.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 16, 2024, 11:43:36 AM
Success, without a doubt, increases your fan base, and it is difficult for non-city clubs like Chelsea and others to compete with city clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United, where nearly everyone who grew up there became a fan right away.

98% of my state's population supports our local club, Rivers United, in the Nigeria Premier League, good or bad. Liverpool dominated in the 1980s, Manchester United dominated in the 1990s, and Chelsea rose to prominence in the 2000s, so most of our fans emerged from the cave once the team provided us with something to be proud of.  Grin

And to be honest I actually not only agree but say this is correct and should be a right thing to happen. Why else would a club want success if not to build a fanbase? Cup money is temporary. Fan money is forever Tongue

But I think the thing here I wanted to say is about plastic fans. Fans who only suddenly show up because they have a great team, but once the team is down, they are quiet and disappear.

Worse, they even change teams! I saw too many Manchester United fans who suddenly became Chelsea fans and worse now become City fans. I never understood this. This is something quite common among Asians plastic fans.

I feel like it makes a difference like City having quiet fans, even remember Mourinho complained Stamford bridge was quiet stadium. He should have expected that tho, majority were the plastic fans who only showed up because of Russian money. At least now you can see who is a true Chelsea fan if they're still showing up. Same as Barca and United lol
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage on: May 16, 2024, 10:10:17 AM
France is a great team with important players. They have one of the best players in the world like Mbappe. They are one of the important favorites for Euro 2024. Zidane is a coach who has achieved great success with Real Madrid. Why wouldn't they do the same with the national team? He may be one of the people who will make the biggest contribution to the French national team reaching the top level.

You know the funny thing about people like you. You quote an entire block of posts and comments from a while ago. And then ask a question that the entire post you quotes was discussing why.

Why wouldn't Zidane do the same for national team what he did for Real Madrid? Maybe read what you quoted (especially what I wrote) to find out why I said it's different and why others discussed so we don't have to repeat what we said.

Or better, give us the reasons why you think he will do the same to counter our arguments? Zidane needs to be convinced lol

Yeah and maybe a few people made money, and then a lot of people will lose money.

Then some of the few people who made money will lose money.

Then some of the few people who made money will exit.

Then everybody else will continue losing money AND more importantly lose time.

Irresponsible to be saying MAGIC when it's not?

Last year I was lucky in baseball MLB and won a multibet bet + 40 odds with fb $10 and this year the same month I was lucky in the NBA and won this multibet bet 41 odds with fb $10, when I saw that Shai Gilgeous had only 1 assist In 3 quarters I thought my bet was lost, but he made 4 assists and 3 rebounds in the last quarter, what I needed.

I have no idea how lucky or unlucky that is, it seems to me in sports like basketball with 4 quarters, every quarter is possible to get a lot of points/rebounds etc.

I think the same in baseball, or NFL, you can have everything happen in Q1 then 0 events of one kind for 3 quarters Smiley

Seems like many people on this forum like the big multis. Never tried this 'Betbuilder' style for anything other than football, I'll try Wink
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 15, 2024, 09:09:01 AM
I don't know why you want City every season winning, I would lose interest Tongue

Not Loyalty - Kane wanted to move a long time ago, but Daniel Levy is a difficult man to deal with; he signed players with no sell clauses in their contracts, so only he can determine when you leave.

I don't feel sorry for Son; he had the option to play for better teams, and as Mourinho stated, Son should not be playing for Tottenham.

Manchester City is far from London, with only 0.005% of fans in Nigeria, so whatever happens, we can sleep well because no one cares except Manchester United fans. If Chelsea cannot win, City should.  Grin

Guess I don't really know the intricacies of Premier League. Seems like a similar world in La Liga or at least in Barcelona where many players wanted to leave but somehow their club didn't make it easy for them. Then again, for some, like Messi, he didn't even know where he was going or if he was staying. Feels like sometimes some players are prisoner.

I totally get you actually. But here in Singapore or Indonesia, City fans are like those plastic mushrooms that only popped up several years ago. To be fair, you also saw Chelsea fans pop up around 2004. The old Chelsea fans were very few, and I respected them because they loved their club who never won anything but after Russian money arrived suddenly everybody was wearing Drogba Tongue

At least I sort of respected Liverpool and Spurs fans even from back then, they were shit for a long time, never won EPL and still had fans.

I agree tho I read about Spurs fans singing when their team losing, that's such a stupid attitude.

What have you done guys @Charaf_chenina and @buwaytress, My freebies clean sheet have finally been broken, I receive a free pass for the first time in BSFL, I however would have preffered to win rather more fairly... But I'll take the free pass anyways  Cheesy Cheesy

I have yet to receive free pass, but I already gave it away once Tongue

What happened to you guys? Cup round is even more devastating IMO, because 2 more wins and you go to big prizes immediately. You literally gave free money away. Never expected this from division 1 veteran Tongue
39  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will this stack make me a USD millionaire? on: May 15, 2024, 07:27:15 AM
We should support alts just because they're part of crypto? So are memecoins, shitcoins, ordinals etc. Should we support things just because they're 'the same family'?

Of course, we don't need to support them all but not all of them are as useless. ETH has grown to this day and similar to bitcoin, an ETH ETF is something that will happen and it is only a matter of time. After bitcoin, perhaps ETH will be another representative of the industry that helps cryptocurrency become more popular, but it is difficult to understand that many people still find ways to spread bad things about it. And what's even more funny is that they are the ones who always claim to support the development of technology and support cryptocurrency becoming more popular.

I still think ETH ETF doesn't make sense, tho. ETFs are one way to get something very scarce. But anyway, it doesn't hurt BTC to have ETH grow Smiley

But I wrote you one reason to give you understanding about why people spread bad things about even Ethereum. They betrayed the original Ethereum and REVERSED the blockhain after they got hacked.

Bitcoin people will understand this is against the whole idea of crypto. I sort of forgave them but people will remember this is Ethereum, what wil other alts do?
40  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC and ETH Trading Journey on: May 14, 2024, 12:17:56 PM
But of course if ever Ethereum will not pass on etf spot it doesn't mean the price will not going to go up, it is still unpredictable and we don't know what's gonna be the next move on this situation anyway, right?

Always said ETF is sort of meaningless to me. You want ETH you just go buy it. It might actually make sense for Bitcoin with limited supply and less and less new coins coming out but ETH staking while has a theoretical cap essentially means there's always ETH if you need some.

But tokenomics aside, the proof is in ATH. Bitcoin hit a new one. I can't think of any other alt which was around since 2017 that hit a new ATH. To me that says a lot.
