About the odds based event: what about add at least for some games the european handicap option, therefore making the odds more appealing and both the underdog and the obvious favorite picks worth taking?
Sportsbet.io enforces minimum of 1.5x for their promotions anyway.

Many of us watch CL for the big teams, but their odds might be too low to be a worth pick in most cases, without the handicap.

I was asking for over/unders and handicap also but I think the point now is to just try this experiment with the type of bets everybody gets which is 1x2.

I think it doesn't matter about appealing odds or not, underdog and favorite, if you don't feel are worth taking, don't take it. You have 10 points to stake and try to get the biggest points, I think the challenge will force people to go big on underdogs, which I guess is the whole point Smiley

I'm definitely not putting points on big favorite, then again, if you put 10 points on 1.2, it's a "guarantee" of 12.

Congrats to 3A and 3B. Division 2 is gonna be tough as hell...

Finally I got 2 points, I'm also happy to thank Ukraine and Gauff for making sure I didn't blank this round, now we have one precious question left between ralle14 and me.
The Poland and Albania match sealed the loss for me. Congrats on winning this round and being a step closer to securing that promotion spot.  Wink

Also, this puts me in a bad spot for the promotion race due to the score differential I have against those who are slightly ahead of me in terms of points.

I didn't expect it from there, I thought they would draw together with Denmark, but it ended up nice anyway. Thank you and yes, I still need to have another crack at first division, I always felt last season was so unlucky.

GL to you, 2 more games and 6 more points anything happens!
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: * | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: September 11, 2023, 08:24:36 AM
I heard some interesting rumors flying around about a huge prize pool so I jumped off the couch and sent my payment immediately.

Maybe the spots will be limited? Maybe you're running out of time? Or maybe I'm just messing with you..
Hurry up, you don't wanna miss this one Wink

Let it go bro. Cool This will never work. Those who care will join up, and I am confident that the number will be higher than last year.

Igebro, I don't know how I didn't not hear about F1 it was advertised I believe in ANN thread of SB but I bet a lot of people also don't know about this pool yet. The funniest thing is the other Champions League thread is so busy, more than all the paid pools etc, so we all know it never works to convince particular parties on this forum no matter the prize.

But that just means only active special people like us stay lol

How many players did we get last season??

NEW: Introducing Superbru Football and Superbru Rugby

I don't know how much relevance or pressure this pool causes, but it is now available on iPhone and Android.

Well done OP, we hope for more news like this, just on time.  Smiley

I wonder if Superbru recognizes any of our BTT pools, I think over last years, we must have at least I would say $100k in total played!

Well i already paid, like isaid before i hope to do a lot better this year. And we have one group really spicy, the group of Newcastle, Milan, PSG ,Dortmund. That group can make a big diference in the predictions.

About the other based odd thing, i dont have the time to check, but i trust in you!

Everyone expects Newcastle to go out first, but I've a good feeling all of these teams have equal death chance.

You're right, whoever picks well here will get huge advantage.

Try the odds thing, it's very simple, I think!!
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: September 11, 2023, 07:10:37 AM
We gotta give credit, Ireland played pretty good but still lost. Netherlands is lucky to have Dumfries honestly, he changed the game. And we have to say that this team's striker is Weghorst, not anybody else. Now Ireland have no chance to advance. France is first, Netherlands and Greece are fighting for second spot. Netherlands has just passed an important turn tonight. Considering their future fixture, Greece has a though task. I believe Netherlands will stay in second place and reach Euro 2024 after last three games.

Wait then, I know Weghorst has the goals, but so does Gakpo, in fact he gets them faster, higher rate, and is first choice penalty kick taker. How does that not make him a striker of choice above Weghorst?

And lets not forget Bergwijn also, Weghorst is suitable for different approach but he doesn't start, he makes the team slow and less creative,

Like the previous time, the rollover requirement is 15× to receive the bonus funds on my account. Some games are excluded from the wagering requirement, but all other slots game wager will count 100% towards the wagering requirement. Table and live games will have 20% contribution to the rollover requirement.

Thanks for the info, now I remember why I didn't take the offer before. 15x is very low, most casinos implements 40x and lowest I seen is 30x but the difference if table games is only 20% the rollover becomes 75x. Not impossible for me, I've done it before but it's a heavy task, might not even have time Wink

Let me know if you try it and share your results, good luck if so!!

Thanks rdbase, for sure even I missed coming here a lot but I'll make sure I try and remember to share winning specials. The thing is most of them happen while I'm alredy off to bed so usually I don't even see thm unless they come up early. I've shared stuff in ANN fr sure but those are nrmal not special bets Smiley

See you in UCL, it's smaller fee to prize combo now, even better Wink
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: * | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: September 10, 2023, 11:15:21 AM
Hey guys, everyone who is wondering, join or not, seriously, just join. All of the pools are kinda no-brainer. I even joined F1 pool for first time. Even if you don't know anything and just guess, you have a good chance because pools have a lot of random outcomes.

I used to think it was expensive, but if you think about it, we all bet a way more amount on regular games. 2 mbtc fee paid once for ALL season, to win huge prize... compared to 0.2mbtc bet per game, but we bet maybe 20/30 games all season Smiley For much smaller bets.

Now I am gonna be in 5 pools + bsfl. Total about 10-13 mbtc. But one time fee with 6 chances to win much bigger prizes Smiley

I don't know what Polish fans are expecting. Their team constantly relies on Lewandowski for years, why they think different now lol
----

I don`t want to be mean or cynical and give bad news to the Polish fans, but one player cannot lead an entire team. You see Cristiano Ronaldo, he didn`t succeed with Portugal, why should it be different with Lewandowski?
I don`t think so, we need a champion but we need a team that supports him, otherwise nothing will work.

We have many examples and this absolutely does not change.

Except Messi, of course Wink Even before he won WC Argentina progress relied on him so much for many years. And now in MLS he literally changed a team in 11 games. From bottom league to appearing in two finals and winning their historic first cup.

But I know what you mean and agree. Hence, why I thought it was dumb of Polish fans to be angry when they get results they should be expecting.

Finally I got 2 points, I'm also happy to thank Ukraine and Gauff for making sure I didn't blank this round, now we have one precious question left between ralle14 and me. I need this win to secure a chance at promotion but I think we can all say congrats to leea. He leads in this round and I believe he won the basketball question, so he will now confirm himself was Division 2 champion with 2 games to go.

My opponent is already 3 goals up, and I'm done with this horrible season. Trofo, you were right, my odds of being dropped to Div 2 are extremely good. I'll be surprised if I'm not relegated at this point.

Don't worry mate. Promotion battle is quite fun plus, remember, no need to pay fee lol
1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: September 09, 2023, 01:23:01 PM
If you look t the level of rivalry and supposed hatred between Sergio Ramos and Barcelona, and Lionel Messi in particular, I'm about the hostility in every match they played against each other which often leads to physical bruises of intentional gesture and always unremorseful about awful tackles that could cause a career threatening injury, you'd presume that Messi and Ramos would never have any respect for each let share a dressing and be highly professional about it as though they've never being on extreme opposing sides of heated rivalry.

There have been some speculations about how Sergio Ramos isn't being welcomed back well by Sevilla fans, I guess probably due to their history while he was at Real Madrid, but Sevilla as a club right now are in total disarray defensively since the beginning of the new season, If there any defender out there that his level of experience at all level could help them, even if it is mean to be just within the dressing room, Sergio Ramos by all means is one of such players.

That's the media and the fanbase that usually likes to make a lot out of the rivalry trying to paint Ramos/Messi as hateful of each ither. Not true, both are really professional and competitive, you see the same in some other sports, fighting or boxing, they look like they hate each other but in the end it is respect. If you don't respect your opponent you don't even try to tackle them Smiley You see this in football teams who look down on others don't even try hard.

Anyway, it's not my club anymore and Sevilla is in flux, I am now more concerned how to defeat Bellingham and even how to deal with Atletico!!

Hey rdbase and everyone active here, I missed out on some great specials it seems recently, did anyone take the shocker bets of Germany plus Serbia??

Anyway, Newcastle and Champions League are coming up soon, Sportsbet must be so happy to be sponsoring Newcastle in this way. Are you guys joining the pool, I kinda miss seeing all your names there Smiley

Today I have received a promotional message from Livecasino regarding 200% deposit bonus. This is the same bonus which I had received in the January month of this year. Perhaps, I'm eligible for this deposit bonus again as I'm not active on Livecasino. Has anyone else got the same promotional message?

@slaman29, You had also received it last time, but you couldn't try it for being late. Don't miss the opportunity at this time if you have received it again.

Oh wow really? I haven't played real money here for a while too, basically since the Candy Crush tournament changed rules but I wouldn't mind trying it out again for such a huge bonus. Nice for you, will you be taking it?

What did you get for wagering/rollover requirements? And what games excluded?

Thanks for the explanations, Harkorede and yes, I realize now I was asing for too much lol I mean, it's really not important to have many markets since each round we only have 10 points to stake.

I'll send payment soon, looking forward. Hope we get more people joining! Do we find out how much is the prize today?
1034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: September 08, 2023, 11:16:01 AM
Yes, but some players just feel like they've had enough of touring and simply just want to go back home, hence why he chose to go back to Sevilla where it all started, and we've read the same of players like Ronaldo and Messi being the biggest last 2 decades saying their the home country and boyhood club is where they want to head back to when the time comes to draw the curtains on their illustrious respective careers.

Well Ramos made a lot of Arab money already in France and maybe like you said, no need to make more, just go back to where it all began. Perhaps after that he will retire to Arab anyway, why not?

He's the enemy because of Real but as a player, no matter the club, I always feel sad when their journeys don't end well. So it's nice so far to see this happen. Hope the fans don't mind Wink

Tennis brings nothing for me as ralle14 is same answers on both men and women, so I have no panic from this. Hakan did another upset with Hungary, 90% of us failed there so weekend makes us all sweat:)

Thank you very much for your support. I hope that you can also manage to return to Division 1 next season. You have been going on really great so far.  Wink

I think I need one more win and 2 draws to guarantee but yes, that's assuming all others also win. It's crazy that we are so close to the end and still so tight. Very competitive.

It would be disaster to not make it back!!
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: September 08, 2023, 07:39:36 AM
This Poland team was whispered from bad performance yesterday from their own fans as they are not showing any good game except Lewandowski which saved the game yesterday night. Now on Sunday they have to win in Albania in order to be optimized for qualification which certainly won't be easy.

I don't know what Polish fans are expecting. Their team constantly relies on Lewandowski for years, why they think different now lol

I'm not sure Greece will be able to do anything in the match against the Netherlands. Greece once won the European Championship, but since then they have not had good results. That's why I think the Netherlands will win. About France and Ireland of course it is clear who will be the winner.
I keep witnessing tough performance from these countries, not an easy tasks to predict these games. The competition is portrayed with enough fierce competition from these countries, usually only the best team that have stellar performance to exhibit will explore in their positions. Greece have past good records, but definitely they are out of good shape and I doubt if they stand a chance of winning forthcoming tough games. Netherlands are favorite and have the necessary players available to kickout Greece. On the other hand, France and Ireland, ofcourse we know who will come out winner.

Greece win was 20 years ago, nobody plays football like that anymore lol but Netherlands is slowly reachieving their past success. Nations League is all they can boast about now tho.

Trust me, we'll have a couple of surprises in terms of who won't even meet in Germany next year but otherwise I don't expect anything exciting from these qualifiers.

Hey guys, not really related are you all joining the new Champions League pool by the way? Really like to see you guys joining us for competition and great prizes too Smiley

I just tried the form and I think it's quite understandable too. It's pretty interesting and I'm not sure it's ever been tried before like this. I've seen betting contests but it's always based either on highes wager, highest win amount, not "points" so seems reaaly really interesting.

I like Harkorede's and Trofo's idea too, why not make more options for staking? Over/Under would be nice, even allowing to put more than one choice per match Smiley

I finally lost my top spot in the F1 pool but I should still be very happy I stayed up there for half the season and a little more. This time Perez didn't let me down but the Spanish drivers were so mixed I lost exact points there.

Max is the Haaland of F1. You can't not choose him to win a race!

Aw! That was a shame man, you just need to try it next time maybe your luck will not run out the next time you try, well, maybe Robert Lewandowski when he was still on Bayern Munich, but for sure Erling Haaland when he is now on Manchester City Max Verstappen still has a long way up ahead he is only 26 years old and I wish he doesn't mean the retirement thing on his 28 Years of age could be true and likely I wish he still continue to Race up to his 30's,

It's fine, I didn't expect to last so long so it's a great bonus for my first time Smiley

Agree Max is at peak, I mentioned this before, one reason to RB to wonder how long peak lasts before it drops. To maintain, Max needs great rivals, he won't retire so soon but psychologically, the body listens to the tongue Wink
