21  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin solve the worlds problem? on: April 10, 2018, 02:49:18 PM
What problem are we talking about? there are a lot of problems in a certain country and if we will be talking about world problem that is way harder than a certain country. As you have said, Bitcoin is just a decentralized digital currency its function do not included any solution of the World's problem but this technology will made our transaction way quicker than the traditional ones.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Governments Kill Bitcoin? on: April 10, 2018, 01:12:19 PM
The latest news is that the US government is look closely at Bitcoin. A number of governments such as Russia and China are also planning to issue their own digital currencies. They clearly see a financial threat from Bitcoin.

What do you think? Can governments kill Bitcoin and replace it with their own digital/crypto currency?
They won't and can not kill bitcoin but they can make bitcoin less effectively or do something to control it.
They ban ICO, exchanger, trading,...

Control is not the word but keep on being used by the people in a country making Bitcoin less in demand and having a and dump at that state. If Bitcoin is continuously dropping, it is expected that people will either take advantage of it or leave Bitcoin alone.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a currency? on: April 10, 2018, 11:54:58 AM
actually maybe not as we are used to understand, but it is still a tool of payment and recieving payments. We can still buy and sell for it.

it is a tool for it? But it doesn't used in that way, sadly. For a lot of people, Bitcoin is not a currency but an asset or an investment that can give you a good profit in the future or when it pumps, it is volatile so we do not know when this pump will happen.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: April 10, 2018, 09:45:54 AM
The most impressive thing about Bitcoin is that it's not a broker, it's a transaction between the supplier and the receiver, and not the bank's influence. And it's digital money, not paper money or gold.

Our world is shifting now to the world of Digital, technologies are quickly advancing and economy will be doing it so. Digital currencies, if legalized by the world will make the transactions way far better though I just hope that the digital currencies we are using that time is more developed than today, if not, I guess that will not be happening.
25  Economy / Economics / Re: About real state of cryptos on: April 09, 2018, 11:00:16 AM
Hi all. What do you think about this idea - is it possible to actually use crypto for daily payments?
read on medium

give your opinion
There are shops that accepts payment in cryptocurrency.  There are bitcoin ATM machines.  These are strong indicators that every day use of cryptocurrency is possible. However being a new technology and the fact that the government is struggling with control, it cannot be widely used as it is capable of. But there is possibility in the future.

Bitcoin is now 10 years old and I don't think that it is still a new technology since there is a lot of other new digital currencies. And I don't know if the government are really struggling to control it since it is a decentralized digital currency, no one can control it and I think people will like Bitcoin more as an anonymous and decentralized digital currency.
26  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: April 08, 2018, 07:09:02 PM
We have to analyse the project by reading their White Paper, at the same time, people should also analyse the charts in order to make profits by using our different strategies. Some time strategies won't work we have to be smart by using dips inorder to buy more coins

Buying coin in dips are one of the most common strategies so I don't think you can say that. Being smart doesn't always mean that you are a strategic person and it doesn't always mean that being a strategic person will always mean that you are a smart person. Just like your post, you are not being smart but you are just finding a way to post and reach your weekly quota.
27  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: April 08, 2018, 12:51:48 PM

28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: April 07, 2018, 04:56:19 PM
The greatest fears when price goes down people say Bitcoin will desipare.

Another user who don't pay attention on the price movement but more on what are people is saying. This is one of the greatest fear I am having as a Bitcoin investor and user, if I will be the same as these people. I don't want to be paranoid and think that Bitcoin will "disappear". It will be pumping in the future and we just need to be patient.
29  Economy / Economics / Re: Wonder how many people can hold BTC for more than 3 years on: April 03, 2018, 06:00:52 AM
BTC was around $300 3 years ago.

Wonder how many people can hold BTC for more than 3 years and enjoy the amazing profit in this period Smiley

With a lot of FUDs and declines that is happening these days, I don't think that they will be able to hold it for that long period of time. Most of the investors on digital currencies are short term holders. And digital currencies has a tendency of pumping its price to unbelievable price in a short period of time so 3 years is a long time to hold it.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to mine or buy Bitcoin? on: April 02, 2018, 06:34:29 PM
I personally believe its better to buy Bitcoin at this time.

I do agree that buying Bitcoin at this time is better than mining Bitcoin but the dump will not always happen and if the price pumps, the time for buying Bitcoin will end. In case of mining, whether the price dumps or pumps, you are still earning Bitcoin and it will last as long as you are mining Bitcoin. The profit may not be that quick but it is better than buying bitcoin in the long run.
31  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: April 02, 2018, 03:45:42 PM

If we will be making the ETH wallet free, unfair naman ito sa mga nagbayad na di ba?

Maibang usapan, sinu po nagsend ng Baranggay Clearance or Income Tax Return dito as a cerification for level 3? Thank you.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc good experience for young people on: April 02, 2018, 07:11:04 AM
Hey, I'm not old but I'm closer to old than young. I was fortunate to get into the stock market early and even a couple ipo's which led me into real estate etc. so now I'm in crypto, follow it, read it still trying to figure it out. Anyway, although everyone is now talking Bitcoin I think this story has sent a message about saving and investing to younger people. I don't think speculation is a good lesson but the ability to do more with ur money than spend it or gain no interest in a bank account is a good thing and I only learned it by listening to others as I was making my way.

I don't think btc is the answer to everything and it could even crash, that would also be a lesson, but the US population in general does not save a lot of money, perhaps this new development could help change that.

Bitcoins is really good for young entrepreneur because this person can practice his decisions on when to invest or sell his coin in order to earn more profit, cryptocurrency is like a business that you need to take risk in order to become successful in the future.

We are talking about people here aged from 13 to 16 years old, and I think it is better for them to focus on earning but the best on letting these kids do what they want. I know that a lot of parents here wants to let their children earn as early as they could so they can ready them in the future but if they will be introducing their kids into earning money, they will be more focused on that than studying.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Positive News about Bitcoin on: April 02, 2018, 01:03:42 AM
This is undoubtedly a very good news for bitcoin and hopefully this will help Bitcoin to raise its fallen price.

Bitcoin does not need any help, it is just normal for a certain volatile digital currency to fall down like we are experiencing right now. We do not know when will this end but one thing is for sure, this dump will not continue forever.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: April 01, 2018, 04:11:17 PM
Some people says that gold is better because they're not yet familiar with bitcoin compared to gold as investment tgey should know that bitcoin is better than anything else when you hold bitcoin and wait for the time that bitcoin will reach its high price thats the time to sell to get a bigger profit.

Nope, Gold is way more better. Bitcoin might be more expensive that Gold and other good metal investments but Gold is better than Bitcoin when we are talking about time. Gold is slow in terms of movement but it is a good investment and the risk is lower than volatile digital currencies.

And as I am posting this nasa $6.5K na ang presyo nito, mukhang patuloy pa itong bumabagsak.
36  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: BAGONG UPDATE sa BITCOINTALK FORUM on: April 01, 2018, 01:00:55 PM
Happy April Fools day! Tatanda akong member nito pag nagkataon. Grin Cheesy Wink

37  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as your main income? on: April 01, 2018, 10:21:36 AM
Yes it can be a main source of income, but it is a case to case basis. As for me, I can consider bitcoin as my main source of income because I am a student and depend solely on bitcoin.

There are a lot of people who are relying mostly on digital currencies especially bitcoin. Though it is hard in these times because the price is declining and it is hard to indicate whether it is a good time to sell or to hold unto your investments. I do not fully rely on my digital currencies investments because I have a job that I can rely on, atleast I am having no problem whether the price of digital currencies decline and I know for sure that it will be also having its time to pump.
38  Economy / Economics / Re: do you really like crypto coin? on: March 30, 2018, 08:58:51 AM
i like it a lot because this crypto i change how to make study hard.. like when im schooling before, and now same crypto before you move forward in all coin make sure study first. in crypto i make profitable income he even not much. also all ico token its like a lot also they also make your profit if you joined thier project.

yes, i like it. cripto give me alot benefit too. I can buy gold from bitcoin income.

That is great that you are earning from crypto currencies and you will be buying gold from it which is a good investment as popular investors say. It is not that I like crypto currencies but I like the hype whenever the price is increasing. I like to find a good coin when it dumps and wait for it to pump. Crypto currencies also gave me an opportunity to not only earn on my main job but to also earn on investing to this.
39  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: March 27, 2018, 11:49:28 AM
In life we have to smartly manage money, the division of saving and investing is very important thing, I will give 75% for investing and the rest I saving, I hope by investing then I can get big profit.

I don't really like to save my money since I am not a fan of the crypto currency's volatility, I don't rely on them. I rely on the projects that has a good possibility of pumping in the future though the risks is that their either legitimate or scam.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can any government ban Bitcoin? on: March 27, 2018, 07:17:41 AM
I think it could happen, if a country wants to ban its people playing Bitcoin. the country can make hard rules, anyone who is still playing Bitcoin and Caught will be given hard sanctions, for example in Fines or in prison. Countries can also block all sites / websites that are related to Bitcoin. So the people will find it hard to enter the internet that can connect with Bitcoin, and they are also afraid because if caught will be given sanctions.
Yes, actually these rules are implemented at North Korea but the worst thing in this is people could be excused because of using Bitcoin or stroring them.

They've just ban it in their country, but not entirely in the whole world and if you think of it, people of North Korea can still use digital currencies since the ban is just using Bitcoin on their country but I see that there might be a problem since their Internet is censored.
