501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: July 22, 2017, 01:36:04 PM
I see no point in using analysis in gambling. Gambling is primarily created for pleasure, and then for a possible win in case of luck. The analysis is appropriate for trade.

Then, you don't need to gamble, gambling is not just about pleasure, profit and luck, it is also all about analysis. Every gambling that we play, we use analysis, what to pick to bet, where to put your money, how much will you bet, it is all analysis.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Digibyte Pump! on: July 22, 2017, 02:52:17 AM
This September the City Awards will be announced. Digibyte is nominated. This coin will raise to the moon and if it wont win an award you will still make a big profit I think.

I mined some of it and I never thought that it will come to these, I must've continued mining these and maybe I have a thousand now. Maybe I will start mining them again.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: July 21, 2017, 11:06:54 PM
Lol ltc is not officially dead it is alive and it will grow i saw how many gambling sites started to accept btc and many other kind of sites so i still have hope for ltc cryptocurrency.

What is the relation of Litecoin and Bitcoin if bitcoin is accepted in many gambling sites? Or maybe this is a typo that LTC is the one being accepted on many gambling sites now.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: July 21, 2017, 02:06:13 PM
Experience does matter a lot because with experience you'll know whether to risk big or risk small, experience in gambling to me is everything because your understanding of a particular game helps you make the correct decisions that at least gives you a better chance against the house.
This might be true in sports betting but in other gambling experience will not matter all you will need is luck.

There is nothing like correct decisions in gambling, if you get lucky than you can even win with big bet size and if you are not lucky enough than you can loss even if you gamble with small bet size.
Experience is very helpful in sport betting to win the betting, but not for other games, that's right. I think the experience will only help us in other games just about money management. When do we allow to place bets with large amount and when with small amount.

Experience can be a useful tool for all types of gambling, even for our daily lives, experience is very useful. But, that experience is not all about how we play, the strategies and the techniques, it is also all about how we manage our loses, how we take losses and how we deal with the worst situations.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: July 21, 2017, 12:42:29 AM
I think yes it can be considered as trading if you are gambling on different currency and you have to switch to another currency when you win or when you will withdraw your funds. For example youre playing at eth and you convert it on bitcoin

That is not trading but it is considered as converting, converting and trading may look the same but entirely it is not. The good explanation to these is when you trade, you are putting your money into some altcoin, or maybe bitcoin then finding another that has a potential of pumping, and then you trade your coins there, and do that again in another coin. In short, you are risking your money like betting.
506  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will up. dont worrry on: July 20, 2017, 02:00:50 PM
I stopped predicting btc prices a long time ago. When to buy. When to sell. Buy when you are ready and hold. Best strategy for not losing money

I think you don't need to worry about predictions, being active here in the forum is enough to know something that will or may or might happen on bitcoin's price. But also, managing your coins or your will be a hard thing to do because you must have good and quick decisions that will lead you to either a good profit, or a bad luck.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: July 20, 2017, 05:58:47 AM
I think the thought of trying to win back the losses you had keeps us coming back, hoping we would win all those back. I was like that before and I'm not even really gamble that much like others are, but I do gamble almost everyday.

That is just a proof that people are really stupid and greedy. Whh would you risk your money into something that you know you will never win. And also, gambling is just based on how lucky are you. So if you are not luck, you will be losing a lot of money. Not just money but there is a tendency that even your loved ones will be gone too.

509  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: COULD THE REAL SATOSHI NAKAMOTO BE A FILIPINO? on: July 18, 2017, 10:53:02 PM
Guys! Isang groupo po si Satoshi Nakamoto at hindi po isang tao, saka may revelation na, na si Manny Pacquiao at Willie Revillame ang nagpasimuno ng Bitcoin. Sikret lang to ha? Please don't share to Foreigners...  Grin

Nakakatawa newbie, in fact gusto kitang kamayan sa reply mong yan. Satoshi Nakamoto is known by many bitcoin developers, they may be a group, but in a group, may isang tumatayo as a leader, so I think he is the one. May isang time na nacontact si Satoshi, and based on the posts time from his account in this forum, may bumase na bansa kung saan siya nakatira, pero di naten yun sigurado. So imbes na chinichismis naten siya, let's just express our thanks and do our best to use his invention.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why All Coins Dump? on: July 16, 2017, 01:55:27 PM
i also want to know the reason, my asset shrink a lot in the past weeks

I don't know the connection of all the digital currencies, but one thing I know for sure, when bitcoin dumps, all the other digital currencies dumps. This happens always when the bitcoin dumps so I think there are really some connections to these.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming ICO's on: July 16, 2017, 08:38:52 AM
Im looking to invest in a few upcoming ICO's that have good project and devs.

any recommendations so i can do my own research about them?
Yes we must also more carefully choose some ico that may be very profitable

I am also curious, but when someone sees an ICO, they can easily say that, that ICO is not a good one and might be a scam. How can they tell? I am also new to these kind of coins because I just started on bitcoin, joining Signature Campaign and also from some tasks and trades.
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin on webcam sites ? on: July 16, 2017, 01:31:34 AM
i remember surfin the darknet in media class with a buddy back in 2011 when I was in highschool.  Girls were doing webcams for bitcoin and they would charge something like 3 or 4 BTC for a live cam.  Price was just under $6 per coin, wonder how long they held them for

Yeah, I remembered some girls like that too. Though what I experienced is they are only charging at .1 and .3 bitcoin. I don't know how long they've hold their bitcoins but now I think they've sold off their coins because of the network splitting and charging their live cams by other coins.
513  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin die soon? on: July 15, 2017, 10:49:12 PM
It won't. There are lots of people who benefit from Bitcoin, especially the investors. And in fact, this is just the beginning. Problems that Bitcoin is facing is just a part of its growth. As long as there are people who gains profit from this, I can't see Bitcoin's ending.

There are a lot of people using bitcoin and they have their different reasons of using these volatile, decentralized and pseudo anonymous digital currency. So,you must not say that as long as there are people who are gaining profit because with the big dump, there is no way they earn a profit. As long as there are people uaing these digital currency, bitcoin will remain.
514  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHEN will BTC rise again and WHY? on: July 15, 2017, 11:41:34 AM
Ive been watching the markets sence bitcoin was 150$/BTC, i have been promoting bitcoin and the use of it for a long time, but why should BTC ever rise again? There have been a peak thru overbuying and now somebody has to pay = coin value drop.

Hard fork, soft fork doesnt matter the value wont rise above 2k$ again?
It wasnt meant to?

I have not sold my Coins but i dont believe in 4-10-100 000$ /BTC

Emotions aren`t a good adviser when your are trading. The btc price decreased only with 150 USD and now you are crying in your post about how bitcoin is "dead" and never rise again,bla-bla....
Wait after BIP148 and after Segwit2x and perhaps your predictions might be wrong.
Now everbody is waiting for Aug 1 and Segwit and that`s why the price won`t increase.

As you've said, people are waiting for the network splitting to be cleared out. Most of them are panicking because their money that they invested on bitcoin is disappearing because of the threat of the network split. So they are converting their bitcoins into other altcoins because those altcoins can pump but bitcoin will not.
515  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plans for 1st august? on: July 15, 2017, 06:59:03 AM
I have a plan in 1st August that is I invest my bitcoin few new project.

That is a given, if bitcoin is experiencing a dump, the usual move of investors is to find another digital currency with a good probable price, also putting their money or bitcoin unto new ICOs or projects. Just after these network splitting they will convert it back to bitcoin.
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable on: July 15, 2017, 01:02:05 AM
Exactly what I've been thinking. You never know how much your bitcoin is going t be worth tomorrow, next week or month. Maybe the value will increase, or maybe decrease dramatically.

I do not know what are you saying, bitcoin itself is a currency, but just a digital currency where there are no physical coin and a decentralised currency.
And I think even if it had a low price, if government found these digital currency to be secure, stable and safe they will be using these digital currency.

I think he is saying that it is a currency but not a fully or thoroughly accepted in the real world. Bitcoin price really changes it's price every single minute and people might be really alarmed when they will be seeing their money decreasing and decreasing it's value or it's price. Who would want their money to unstable, right?
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are these coins good for long term? on: July 14, 2017, 10:26:08 PM
hi guys right now im currently holding

stratis, ioc, steem, sys and zen(mining it)

im also thinking about ark and monero

are all of these coins good or is it just a pump and dump ( obviously i dont suspect monero of pump and dump )

I think most of them are just pump and dump. If you really want a good profit, you must be really active on the news or what might happen in that coin. There are times that some altcoins just pump arter it's release, when the users take advantage of it, the coin dumps.

520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: SportsBetting with Altcoins on: July 13, 2017, 10:51:54 PM
Hello.I work for a non-US betting company and we're currently looking to expand into acceping cryptocurrencies for our international customers. This is a "prototype" type of project as we're interested how many people will bet with cryptocurrencies to know if it's worth investing into developing an automated solution.

We generally tend to have better odds on American leagues(NBA,MLB) that most other bookies.

If you're interested,drop me a DM.

Cheers,Marcus.

Betting using alt currencies will be really great, I mean, I think there are some that do accepts bitcoin. Are you putting a betting system about Dota2 or Lol? Many players and gamblers bet their money on that games especially this incoming tournament on Dota which is The International 2017.
