21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we all buy a Bitcoin Pizza? on: May 14, 2022, 12:15:43 PM
I have used bitcoin dozens of times to pay for lots of things both online and offline(with people I know) either for services or for food specially way back 2016-2017. Right now I still do but not as much as before. Do I regret it? A bit, yes. But not to the point the I would really wish I didn't do it. The same could be said for the guy that has bought pizza using his bitcoin. At that time, it was very cheap and it was a fair deal. Anyone would've done the same thing as well had they gotten the chance to do so. Even donators in this forum never thought that bitcoin would go up so high and donated just for the sake of helping since back then it seemed like loose change. While most may think spending bitcoin back then instead or hoarding it was a waste, I think it was not since it helped circulate bitcoin while at the same time, take care of their personal needs, wants or problems by using it back then.
22  Economy / Economics / Re: Is TERRA/Luna kickstarting a new Bitcoin Standard? on: May 12, 2022, 03:52:12 PM
Looking at this post now really makes me feel sad. I really liked the concept of Luna and would've invested on it had the price not gone up that fast. I didn't like chasing trends so in a way it is still good, the sad thing is that I am now hesitant to buy Luna right now because of what happened and I am pretty sure that some of the people who were also waiting for good buying opportunities to stack up on Luna are also feeling the same disappointment and distrust. Still, for the sake of speculative potential for profits I might buy a few in the coming days. But not as much as I have previously planned.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk won't save Doge or Bitcoin this time on: May 12, 2022, 02:26:04 PM
The worries about crypto only apply on the people that are new to this industry or are overly intoxicated by their hopium about Elon and his influence over Bitcoin or dogecoin. A lot has already happened to the world that affected bitcoin big time both positively and negatively. And despite these, bitcoin never died. Instead, it came out stronger as time pass by. Which is why I don't worry that much, I never bought on peaks anyway so I'm just gon go and wait this storm out as I slowly accumulate whenever I have extra funds just like what I always do.
24  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may likely pull back to 35k on: May 12, 2022, 01:56:24 PM
It is indeed hard to see how Bitcoin drops badly while we are seeking for more higher and more increases but this is the reality of cryptocurrency investing , this is how the volatility of the market goes and with that? we must always ready and always aware of the risk and also of the advantage , so in any case just sell when you think you cannot hold it? or Keep it long for the best result .
just Buy bitcoin , and hold , or sell bitcoin and wait for the right time to buy again.

today Bitcoin experienced a DUMP to below $29k, and has touched $28k,
I feel that this dump will continue to $20k before experiencing bullishness in 2024,
I analyzed it earlier, and understand the current chart, I hope it helps
Wrong, it is not 28k but dumped at 26k just today and this is a bad sign .

It was quite a huge wick and now, the market is showing a bit of recovery but I currently am doubting this. I personally think that we are still not out of danger as fear sets in and panic sellers are getting more and more hesitant to hold onto bitcoin and other altcoins. Specially the ones that are new to this industry. Oh well, not worried though, just a bit mad at myself for taking profits too early on my short at 28k. Still, I'm expecting good recovery half way through the month. Hope this happens.
25  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is all truely fair in love and war? on: May 11, 2022, 05:02:42 AM
Fairness depends entirely on one's perspective and in most cases, when faced with such difficult circumstances people often see it as unjust or unfair. Thus, the saying life is never fair. But if we look at it in a simpler sense, with winning as the goal, every thing indeed is fair. Only the winner can decide which is fair and which is not along with what actions/decisions were justified and not. In love though, it depends on how deeply intoxicated you are with your emotion and how experienced you are. You either deem your actions as fair because it is of love and passion or accept any treatments you never thought you could endure had you not been madly in love. You can also be both or not be in any of those. Most of our views in life depend on our own perspectives and willingness to understand the varying views of others.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where is the crypto market heading now on: May 11, 2022, 04:03:52 AM
Well, no one can really tell you exactly which coin will overtake the other. Just as much as how we cannot tell whether a coin will last or disappear  or how long this will take. Because if you have been around this industry for long enough or ask one that has, you will know that the rankings change a lot and most of the time every change are puzzling and unpredictable. Some even die out.

Anyone else's guesses are just as good as mine when it comes to the crypto market. But personally, I am expecting a reversal half way through this month and possibly a huge buying momentum. Because although the market is in fear, people are also itching to buy and hold for the long term. The current price right now is already such a huge bargain. NFA.

Obviously, it will suffer some decline since people will be more defensive with their actions which is pretty understandable IMH. I mean who wouldn't be? We are talking about hard earned assets here. But yes, I see this as something that it temporary and will eventually recover and be even stronger as market conditions get better. There are people though that are slowly accumulating metaverse related assets and plan to hold them long term since like btc, these price ranges are already such amazing bargains.
27  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may likely pull back to 35k on: May 11, 2022, 03:34:06 AM
I am guessing that it would be a situation where people would end up getting tired of the drop and eventually start buying. We should realize that bitcoin price goes down to a level, and then eventually people say that it is enough and they see it as a good price to get in, and they start jumping into it because it is such a low price, and they end up with making it a bit going high, and that results with others to get hyped about it, and long futures gets higher, and short futures are liquidated, and that type of situation results with a exponential growth.

This is why I believe that we are down enough and soon enough people will start buying and starting that chain reaction.

Well, I sure hope that you also took some short positions or at least didn't make long positions. I managed to rake in a bit of profits for small scalps. Still though, despite the price dropping this much, I am still expecting to see some reversal half way through the month and we may even see huge pumps. Don't bank on it though, these are just my personal speculations. And if you do follow, keep the capital at the minimum and don't over leverage. The market is in fear but is also itching for tons of buys.
28  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Menstral Equity? Oregon requiring tampons in kindergarten boys bathrooms? on: May 10, 2022, 05:18:36 PM
I'm really confused about this. To he honest, I can see more important issues out there or problems that needs budget to solve and this one isn't really something that is very important. Even more so when I think about the children just getting dozens of these just to play with and throw away like throwing money. Oh well, I guess people have different views about priorities, just so happened that the ones that sees this as one have the power to really make it essential.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra USD, proved its not a stablecoin on: May 10, 2022, 04:04:33 PM
price: $.67 during the time of the post

https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/terra-usd

Does anyone know why its losing its value? I havent dived into terra because i am not interested on the project. Im glad, I didnt since i think TerraUsd and Terra affect each other.

I think terra will be exposed a project that is just a big ponzi scheme.

Although I won't go so far as to say it is a big ponzi scheme since terra is actually trying to do something to fix this plus the fact that btc dropped like hell making luna and ust follow, I cannot assure otherwise as well. Because even with the fact that I am a huge fan of luna(but did not have ust, lol), I definitely cannot trust their ust anymore stabke coins should be somewhat immune to btc crashes but ust dropped like hell along with btc. I might buy a bit though just for speculative profit potential but nothing more than 2% of my capital.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to live a peaceful life? Without drama? Then HODL and enjoy the ride on: May 10, 2022, 03:25:58 PM
Damn, op is really amazing to be able to hold on to his btc for that long. Imagine the temptations every time there's an important thing that needs to be bought, or the bragging rights and being able to say " I told you so" to your peers that has been doubting you. Although, it wouldn't be wise telling anyone about your holdings just because you know them. Heck, even the closest people around you sometimes cannot he trusted. Well, if everyone are well of in life then I think  most of these people won't even think about selling as well. I wish I was that well off as well. But anyway, congrats op.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may likely pull back to 35k on: May 07, 2022, 07:05:04 AM
Now the price of Bitcoin is back to $ 35k, I often hear that many people will buy when the price of $ 35k, of course many are panicked and worried about seeing Bitcoin prospects, but I have to convince that big dumping like today is common, what we do is be patient , don't panic and of course focus on continuing to buy is the best step for profit.

Honestly, I have the same thoughts although, right now, it is more likely to go down to 34k+ then 32k or even 29k if the bulls do not manage to break the bearish momentum. Still though, I am very optimistic for this month. I personally think that we may see a huge bounce a few days later after some more time playing at the current areas that the bitcoin price is in. And yes, buying on these dumps little by little is the best choice if you currently have some altcoins that are catching your attention.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google joins the Web 3.0 team! on: May 07, 2022, 06:22:47 AM
Something like this happening is like sunrise and sunset, inevitable. This is because the recent events that took place this past few years have drawn a lot of people into the internet specially social media platforms thus increasing the speed rate of mass adoption. Not to mention that tons and tons of people are looking into other ways to earn and invest their money. If these big companies, individuals or institutions still continue to be stubborn and refuse to adapt to the changing times, they will be left behind and they will lose lots of opportunities to capitalize on these new markets that are likely to take the world by storm just as how bitcoin did in the past.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: California to encourage companies to deal in cryptocurrency? on: May 07, 2022, 04:58:45 AM
Oh well, we really cannot blame the guy though since more and more people are setting their eyes on bitcoin it is just right that anyone would want a piece of this new thing and they would want to get as much benefits as they can suck out of it. Either that or he is just doing this to increase his fame towards the public. Whatever his reason is, be it good or bad there sure are benefits for him and I just hope that he, along with the other people that has the power to decide will not take things too far and take too much advantage that it becomes very unreasonable to the crypto enthusiasts.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed rate hikes too small to have real long term impact for the markets on: May 06, 2022, 06:55:45 AM
Not sure about the stock, but it seems the market has been shaken and weed out of weak hands again as the price goes to $37k and there could be more selling off with regards to this news.

We all know that the market is really sensitive with this kind of news, although as you have said, it is small, but I guess it will still have impact on the market short term as we might see another all time lows in the coming weeks.

It even has gone to as low as the 36k area which is very scary in the point of view of weakhanded people. Right now, most of these weak hands have already been shaken off while others are still holding on to their dear life. There are others though that have learned a bit already and are now looking for better entries. I Think the next few days from the writing of this post will determine whether many more weak hands will sell or many people will jump (back)in. In contrast though, I believe that a week from now or at least till the middle of this month, we'd be seeing some bullishness again.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will it happen ? on: May 06, 2022, 04:15:47 AM
So many newbies are curious about when they will increase their rank in cryptocurrency operation. Many of them tend to get discouraged when the task is becoming too much for them in bounty hunting.Majority get excited about the profits they have seen others making in crypto but the sacrifice they are not ready to make. I want to encourage Newbies that someday it will happen  but you have got to sacrifice and stay focused. Please  encourage someone new to crypto.

I'm gonna go and interpret OP's words as increasing knowledge or status in this industry and not simply just the rank here in this forum. If we really try to understand the thought of this post, it is pretty nice in my opinion because as I look deeply, I am seeing the will of a motivated beginner and his good outlook towards tomorrow in pursuing his goals while at the same time giving advice and encouragement for other newbies like him as well. I just hope that OP doesn't change this point of view as time pass and hard times come because most of the newbies do. Although some does get back in track after some rest. Anyway, great post.
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may likely pull back to 35k on: May 06, 2022, 03:39:16 AM
I didn't expect it to happen that quick though then I guess those $37k to $39k down back to $36k is a sign that we are entering bear market. That was a quick bull trap I thought it would bounce back to $40k again but not happening plus the FUD are starting to spread again so it's likely we are going to enter in a bear trend some time or maybe this whole month will be a red for some time.

We don't know yet what will happen next month but I do hope there's a come back or we could just hodl and buy the dip if it doesn't pump back.

Me neither. I was forced to take small profits and my short orders were not filled. Looking at the current situation of the market, there is a lot of selling pressure and I am expecting this to continue for at least a few more days. Lowest expected drop would be 33k but I'm not going to bite and go ahead and open a short for now. If I were to make an honest opinion, I would say that a bounce back is bound to happen which may happen a week from now or in the middle of this month. So until I have more confirmation to the upside or downside, I'm not opening huge trades.
37  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Politics changes human mindset on: May 05, 2022, 03:05:25 PM
What you said really does make sense and I fully agree to it. Most politicians nowadays only run for the sake of their personal agendas. While there are some that really want to make a change and help the country improve and progress, these type of people are very few nowadays. What's worse is that most of these good people do not win because most of the time people believe the crap from the corrupt ones. And even when the good ones win, they become tempted to be corrupt in the long run.

But what if a good politician really does win and stays true to his morals while serving the public whole heartedly? It will make too little to no difference. Why? Because people do not know how to get satisfied. There will always be people wanting more to the extent of being spoonfed. Not to mention the opposite political parties that are too bitter to support and help the winning candidate of the other political party.

And wanna know what's even worse than this? The way politics influences the people making close friends, relatives and even families go into conflict just because of having different political views from one another. And all these are being witnessed by the children and are then carried by them into adulthood. Sigh, There is just no fixing this world anymore. -.-
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's the year 2018 over again on: May 05, 2022, 01:53:43 PM
Finally bitcoin is facing another jump again to face 40k rate after FED meeting. It seems bitcoin is trying to break 40k rate again and i hope that this will make people think that if there will be no 2018 pattern anymore. Bitcoin looks so strong at this moment too. You should not feel skeptism about bitcoin since this has become universal digital currency. More and more countries are just seeing bitcoin as an opportunity for sure.
This is the best thing that can be done by anyone. No dump but only pump soon.

Yup, a couple of hours earlier, bitcoin had a good jump and retest. Too bad though we're back in the red again. But right now though, I am still feeling a bit optimistic that before the weekends we may see another up move before another drop as weekends happen. Might take profits before the weekends and open some short orders along with some buy orders on my take profit zones. I am pretty interested what will happen as June comes. I wish we'd get a good pump until the end of the year.
39  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may likely pull back to 35k on: May 05, 2022, 12:19:35 PM
Well, I do hope this won't take so long as I was afraid this makes emotional individuals got to panic and it worse the situation. Very often to hear people becoming negative as the situation turns like this and it was understandable since we do speculate market depending on the current view.
I'd even think that the price of Bitcoin will move down closer to $30k. But never did I feel it down and worried about more drops if it happens, volatility sometimes was bad, and sometimes it was profitable.

Well at least earlier this day a lot of people have had the chance to get some sigh of relief since bitcoin a couple of hours earlier had a good breakout coupled with a good retest. I am quite curious how we will be doing as the weekends start to approach again though since most of the time the market seems to lack volume on weekends or drop. Not all the time though since there were also days when pumps happened on weekends. But just to keep safe, no leverage trades for me during the weekends or if ever, 5x maximum.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's the year 2018 over again on: May 04, 2022, 12:28:06 PM
It seems we are already in a bear market but how far can this go? A year or two just like 2018-2019? Or this is a short term bear market? MMCrypto on youtube said that 30,000$ BTC is possible, if this do happens altcoins will bleed more than ever and this will unlock the beginning of the downfall of many altcoins.

I was honestly having the same idea but still, I am trying to be positive since the market seems to be undecided still. I just got buy orders filled on 37k+ area both on spot and on leverage. But if it does fall, I will have no choice but to adjust like DCA or cut losses on leverage. But on spot though, I am willing to hold throughout the bear season. I have already taken profits on some of my altcoins way back so I have quite a few stable coins prepared for DCA or for good buying opportunities on some altcoins that I have been keeping my eyes on, or just tp buy back some good altcoins that I have let go off.
