it's not up to Putin to stop the war. one of the parties has to surrender for the war to be over or simply just peace talk and accept the condition of Putin since he has the leverage to give the condition. Ukraine also will not accept the condition of Putin since it's going to appear NATO to be weak for they are the ones backing the country. there's the reason for war to continue.

In this case, I would like to know your opinion about whether you would consider it necessary to capitulate if your country is attacked by a stronger neighbor? Do you simply agree to give up your country, your property, your wife, your children at the disposal of the occupiers and will not fight and defend yourself just because the attacking side looks stronger? If yes, then I can only feel sorry for you for such a slavish choice.

Ukraine has been fighting an enemy superior in strength for the third year now, and mind you, it’s fighting well. Have you seen what the Russian occupiers did and are doing in the occupied settlements of Ukraine? Mass extermination of the civilian population just because they consider themselves Ukrainians and do not renounce their nationality. Torture, murder and rape of civilians throughout the advance of the Russian horde. The conclusion of a truce and leaving part of the Ukrainian territories under occupation will make it possible to continue this genocide of Ukrainians. In this case there will be no peace. This will be a further systematic destruction of the Ukrainian people. The Russians entered Ukraine under the pretext of protecting the Russian-speaking population. But it was they who killed Russian speakers in Ukraine the most, because their goal is completely different - the destruction of Ukraine as a state and Ukrainians as a nation. Ukraine will fight in any case, because it has no decent choice. Russian occupiers will find only their death on Ukrainian soil.

Oh, cool, now could you answer me: was any US official prosecuted for this act? Any international court orders issued to arrest president Truman? Were there any sanctions imposed on the US by the international community? Were US sportsmen banned from international competitions?

Check and mate, Bozo! Now I'll go get some popcorn and waiting for your answer which will be quite entertaining I suspect....  Grin
According to the official version, the United States bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki because the Japanese were fanatics and would not capitulate, and the only way to end the war without the entry of American troops was an atomic bombing. The alternative could have been an American invasion. President Truman wrote in his memoirs that this would have cost half a million American lives, and then he noted that it would also have resulted in the deaths of millions of Japanese. Thus, according to the official explanation, the bombing was not only justified, it was actually also humane because it saved so many lives.

Until now, the United States has not only not been punished, but has not even apologized for the murder of Japanese civilians.

Donald Trump, while still President of the United States, said that it was thanks to this program that World War II ended and an “unprecedented era of global stability” began.

US President Barack Obama and his administration, who visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial in 2016, said that there would be no apology for the nuclear strike in 1945. First of all, because Japan was the first to attack the United States when it attacked Pearl Harbor in Hawaii on December 7, 1941, where the US Pacific Fleet was stationed and where 2.4 thousand Americans died.
The mayor of Hiroshima, Tomihisa Taue, when he conveyed an invitation to Obama to visit the Memorial, said: they say, the very fact that the American leader will visit a city that suffered from the American atomic bombing is important.
https://rg.ru/2016/05/24/pochemu-ssha-ne-izviniaiutsia-za-atomnye-bombardirovki-iaponii.html

Advice to an aggressor: Don't attack others and you won't have to mourn the death of your loved ones. No one knows what kind of weapon may appear in the hands of the one you have taken as your victim.
Before the attack on Ukraine, Russia threatened everything with its Black Sea Fleet, which was bulky and intimidating in sight. Now its remnants are hiding away from the shores of Ukraine, fearing the spread of Ukrainian-made drones.
I hope I have satisfied your curiosity. This will make the popcorn even tastier.

Do you want to say that after the surrender of Germany in May 1945, the million-strong Kwantung Army of Japan, which was an ally of Germany and was armed with over 1.2 thousand tanks, more than 6.6 thousand guns, 1.9 thousand aircraft, over 30 combat ships and boats did not pose a threat to the eastern borders of the USSR at all? In fierce battles throughout August 1945, the irretrievable losses of Soviet troops amounted to 12 thousand people, medical losses - 24.4 thousand. Was this damage caused by those who were unable to resist? Why then didn’t Japan capitulate earlier than September 2 and fought stubborn battles with Soviet troops for almost a month? In a national radio address, Emperor Hirohito announced surrender to the Japanese people on August 15, but the Japanese army continued to offer serious resistance for a long time.
We are talking about war crime committed by the US regime and the lack of justification for it, not what could have happened between USSR and Japan. As for any battles that took place between the two timeframes, that's due to lack of negotiations which is the only reason why any wars stop. US regime wanted to test its nukes somewhere which is why they refused to negotiate peace with Japan so Japanese kept fighting a little longer than they wanted to.
I agree that from a military point of view there was no need for the US to drop nuclear bombs on the peaceful Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 and that these were, in fact, US war crimes.

In the current situation, Putin’s Russia, although they declare that they are open to negotiations with Ukraine, however, the precondition for negotiations is the consent of Ukraine to the fact that the occupied territories of Ukraine remain with Russia, and this is unacceptable for Ukraine and for the entire civilized world. More and more states are being drawn into this bloody and brutal war, and therefore the threat of World War III is growing rapidly.

At the same time, French President Emmanuel Macron gave a press conference on February 25 following the results of the Conference in support of Ukraine and during the conversation he admitted the possibility of introducing NATO troops into Ukraine to help Ukraine repel a Russian attack.
I don't follow this closely but didn't all NATO members already say this was a lie and they had no plans on deploying any troops in Ukraine?

In any case neither France has what it takes to be taken seriously as a power on a global scale nor Macron has the capability or the charisma to lead the country into such a state. Not to mention that US will not allow them to grow in strength Wink
What does it mean that the US does not allow France to increase its military power? This is exactly what is welcomed among NATO members. On the contrary, a scandal recently erupted in the United States when Trump said that many NATO members in Europe do not allocate two percent of their GDP to defense needs, hoping for US assistance in the event of a military threat.

In addition, the French Parliament on Thursday, March 14, approved a multi-billion dollar increase in military spending over the next 7 years against the backdrop of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The draft military programming law, which includes 413 billion euros in spending for 2024-2030, received final approval from the National Assembly, the lower house of parliament, on Wednesday by a vote of 244 to 37.
President Emmanuel Macron has pushed to increase the military budget to 413 billion euros, the biggest increase in spending in half a century. The new budget is more than a third higher than the previous military spending plan of 295 billion euros for 2019-2025.
Do you think that in this case France received consent to increase its military budget from the United States?

205  Economy / Economics / Re: Big instutions and Banks have invested too much in Europe on: March 17, 2024, 03:54:29 PM
An interesting opinion, but it is not without meaning. Putin, from the amount of power he received in Russia, imagined himself to be a god and decided that in the 21st century he can make decisions and act as he wants, regardless of any moral values of our society and treaty obligations of Russia and go down in history as a great conqueror at the level of Napoleon and Hitler. Having massively introduced his spies into the power structures of Ukraine and invested a lot of money to bribe Ukrainian officials, he decided that with their help he would quickly seize Ukraine even before the United States and Western countries had time to react to these actions of his. Moreover, he got away with the forceful seizure of part of Ukraine in 2014 quite easily.

But Putin's plans were disrupted by the people of Ukraine and their armed forces, who put up unexpected and effective resistance to Russia's invading armies. The resistance turned out to be so successful that the United States and Western countries, which saw Russia as a potential enemy, decided that through the hands of the Ukrainians, providing them with weapons and financial support, they could at least weaken Russia militarily and economically and after that no longer consider it as a threat. But Putin is already too bogged down in Ukraine and retreat means for him not only the loss of power, but also his own life. Therefore, he began to raise the stakes and threaten European countries, including with the use of nuclear weapons. And this already affects the political and economic foundations of the powerful.

Therefore, we see that recently French President Macron has sharply changed the tone of his statements and stated that Russia must be defeated in the war it started and now does not even rule out sending troops into Ukraine if the situation at the front for Ukraine worsens sharply. It is unlikely that he would have changed his mind so dramatically if he had not felt strong support behind him. And this support may well come from the world’s money wallets.

In a national radio address, Emperor Hirohito announced surrender to the Japanese people on August 15, but the Japanese army continued to offer serious resistance for a long time.
Despite all of this, from a humanitarian perspective, is this a justification for dropping two nuclear bombs on two Japanese cities containing hundreds of thousands of civilians and killing about 200,000 people to stop the war?

Likewise, compared to the current situation, does Ukraine’s continued resistance against Russia represent a justification for dropping a Russian nuclear bomb on Ukrainian cities to stop the war?

This is unacceptable from a humanitarian perspective, even in the most horrific and longest wars. From my personal point of view, there is no justification for dropping a nuclear bomb on any enemy.
To stop the war in Ukraine, Russia does not have to drop a nuclear bomb on its territory.  To do this, it is only necessary to withdraw Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine.  In addition, it must be taken into account that any use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine will have a negative impact on the environment and people both in Russia itself and in European countries.  And this will actually mean an attack on NATO countries.

No one here approves of the use of nuclear weapons against peaceful cities for any purpose and under any circumstances. The nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 was most likely a political step for the United States to demonstrate the capabilities of new nuclear weapons and an experiment to study their consequences of use in war conditions.

In the current conditions, Russia itself attacked the neighboring state of Ukraine, and so that no one would stop it from destroying Ukraine and destroying its population, it is trying to threaten and blackmail the whole world with the use of nuclear weapons. This is blasphemous and has no justification from any point of view, and also carries a direct and obvious threat of starting World War III.

You have a slightly wrong idea about the chronology of the final stage of World War II.

Here's what Wikipedia says about it:
I'm not sure how to respond when your source is Wikipedia!!!

If you got the time, study the history of this period from a military standpoint (in books and other "reliable" sources, not Wikipedia) you can clearly see that there is enough evidence (even in the history written by the "victor") that Japan had already been defeated. For example Japan (which is an island in case you don't know) had its entire navy destroyed by the end of 1944 and 1945 started with the Allies having almost full control of all the seas around Japan.
Same with Japanese air-force that had been almost entirely destroyed.

To put simply, they didn't even have the capability to exit their own soil let alone continue fighting.

There are a lot of other evidence that clearly shows their total defeat way before the US regime committed mass murder in Japan by using not one but two Weapons of Mass Destruction.

Are you ready for the last nail in the coffin?
In the book Atomic Diplomacy by Gar Alperovitz (an American historian and writer in a book that is listed on the Office of the Historian which is a US government official department under the department of state) Alperovitz explains how Japan had already accepted defeat and had started peace envoy missions back in September 1944.
He doesn't stop there. There's more. He explains how the US regime knew the Japanese were defeated, wanted to surrender and negotiate peace so there was no need for any kind of invasion let alone dropping two nukes murdering over two hundred thousand civilians.
On August 6 and 9, 1945, the United States used nuclear weapons for the first time in human history to force Japan to surrender in World War II.
European War 2 had already ended in early 1945 and it was official in May when Germany surrendered. Japan was also already defeated and had lost the war and had given up. Then the US regime dropped the nukes on them to make a statement for the future in the New World Order at the time showing its devastating capability and the will to commit mass murder.

To put simply, usage of nuclear weapons by the US regime had nothing to do with WW2.
You have a slightly wrong idea about the chronology of the final stage of World War II.

World War II took place from September 1, 1939 to September 2, 1945.
Here's what Wikipedia says about it:
“The beginning of World War II is considered to be September 1, 1939, when Nazi Germany launched its invasion of Poland...
The invasion of Anglo-American troops into Germany and the Battle of Berlin brought only Germany out of the war, which signed the act of surrender on May 8 (May 9 Moscow time), 1945. In July 1945, the United States sent Japan the Potsdam Declaration, which it rejected. This was followed by the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the entry of the USSR into the war. On September 2, 1945, Japan signed the instrument of surrender. This ended the Second World War."
https://ru.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%92%D1%82%D0%BE%D1%80%D0%B0%D1%8F_%D0%BC%D0%B8%D1%80 %D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B0%D1%8F_%D0%B2%D0%BE%D0%B9%D0%BD%D0%B0

In the period following the atomic bombing of the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9, 1945, and until Japan's surrender on September 2, large-scale military operations still took place. Thus, given Japan’s refusal of the unconditional surrender offered to it, the USSR made a statement to the Japanese government on August 8 that since August 9, 1945, it considers itself to be at war with Japan. On August 10, the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Army (PRA) entered the war against Japan. The fighting took place on fronts stretching over 5 thousand km. Only on September 2, at 9:04 a.m. (Tokyo time), the Act of Surrender of Japan was signed on board the American battleship Missouri, which was in Tokyo Bay.

Oh ok, I think this could be the possible reasons why the prices suddenly goes down to $68k. But it's only 2 Senators though, and I think I wouldn't call it a pressure but it has created a lot of noises and maybe put selling pressures in the last 24 hours.

Prices have now fallen slightly in the cryptocurrency market due to the fact that the time of price correction is coming. Bitcoin has actually been continuously rising in price since October last year and there are now many whales, and ordinary investors, who are trying to lock in their profits.

As for the possibility of approval of Ethereum-ETF spot exchange-traded funds, they will most likely be approved, if not in May, then a little later. The SEC's approval of the Bitcoin ETF was largely forced by the courts, which ruled against its director's position. This process has begun and therefore the SEC will no longer have the opportunity to reasonably resist. Moreover, Bitcoin ETFs indicate increased demand for them from investors. Therefore, the approval of ETF-Ethereum is only a matter of time.
210  Economy / Economics / Re: AI will put an end to work, says Elon Musk on: March 15, 2024, 12:19:13 PM
Elon Musk expresses a lot of his forecasts and opinions about various events taking place in the world. But not all of them are correct and not all come true. Robots with artificial intelligence will be able to provide very good assistance to humans, especially where it is necessary to very quickly analyze and compare a lot of different information. But robots will never be able to replace humans. In addition, if some ordinary work is performed by a person, then replacing it with a robot will certainly cost much more than the cost of this mechanical work by the robot itself. Therefore, there is still enough work for people. In addition, in my opinion, not all types of activities will allow robots with artificial intelligence. I don’t think that they will be allowed in areas of decision-making on which the very existence of a person will depend.
This thing will happen in a very, very long time. AI really has the capability to replace humans. You will notice how people's inventions are becoming more and more advanced. It says to make people lives easier, but in reality, yes, it will make people lives easier, but it can also make people lives miserable because they will have no more work, or the work force that will require humans will vanish. I like the futuristic idea, but let's remember that every good invention or advancement will also have a bad effect on people. But before that happens, we should secure our future. I personally inline myself into the technology profession so that no matter what happens, I can still survive in the industry and will not be laid off. It's all about surviving and striving. No one would help you but yourself, so take precautions and start grinding. Don't let yourself get behind.
This seemingly big problem can also be looked at from a more global perspective. In general, if AI robots can replace people and do almost all the work for them, this will be very good. A person will get rid of the need to spend eight hours, or even more, doing the same work and earning a living from it. In this case, the state will be forced to either redirect the physical or creative efforts of people to some other type of activity, or provide material goods absolutely free of charge, due to the fact that robots with AI will create these material goods in the required quantity so that any person could use them at his own discretion and desire without any restrictions. This is something like communism, which the communists previously strived for. The right to enjoy material goods in sufficient quantity will simply be due to the fact that a certain individual will be identified as a person. In this case, there will simply be no need for work as such.
211  Economy / Economics / Re: Fix the money, Fix the world. on: March 15, 2024, 11:43:06 AM
The Rich/Government has used money as a tool to oppress the poor in a way that they practically use it to control everything in the world with the help of financial institutions.

The high class as they are called has maintained dominance in everything, not to be bitcoin biased or cynical, but in this case, I see Bitcoin as the alternative to this controversy and if we want to eliminate the power that is intoxicating us, then we must advocate for alternative means, Bitcoin as a currency without any central control will handle this menace in a manner that everybody will have power, control and self custody of their bitcoin, the market forces will now depend on more individual investments in it and group or institutional adoption, just imagine making Bitcoin handy and accessible to the populace.

I think the world will be a better place without notice or segregation between the rich and the poor if Bitcoin is embraced fully since Bitcoin is not a currency of a particular country everyone has the equal right and power to either store it or use it.
Bitcoin or other decentralized cryptocurrency is not a universal solution to all problems in the field of finance. Money is only a tool, a symbol that gives rich people the right to dispose of their property. Changing this instrument will not bring equality. If it is unprofitable for rich people to use Bitcoin, they will not use it and the wealth will still remain with them.
The division between rich and poor will not disappear even if Bitcoin is adopted throughout the world and by every state. Miraculously, those who in the first years of Bitcoin had the opportunity to get it either for free or at a very low price were able to get rich. In the future, poor people will no longer be able to access it. Again, only rich people will have this opportunity.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: 2024 & Prediction of World War III - Effect on Cryptocurrencies on: March 15, 2024, 11:12:39 AM

but who in this world also has once dropped a nuke? because it could mean history can repeat itself.
if everyone will already be showing their nuke capability in the media. these leaders will know they may never be stopping anymore and pressing that red button will be done shortly.

they don't need consensus before dropping the nuke. there is no transaction fee to send a nuke. in fact we are now programmed there will be blackout in different places. during blackout, our crypto is useless.

On August 6 and 9, 1945, the United States used nuclear weapons for the first time in human history to force Japan to surrender in World War II. The attack killed 70-100 thousand people in Hiroshima and 70 thousand in Nagasaki. The death toll, including those who died from radiation sickness, exceeds 500 thousand.
As we see, there have already been cases of the combat use of nuclear weapons, and the paradox is that humanity never learns from its mistakes.

In recent years, we have seen how Putin’s Russia, carrying out a military invasion of Ukraine and trying to seize this state, also periodically blackmails the world with nuclear weapons. At the same time, the Kremlin is gaining the audacity to tell other states that they should not dare to help Ukraine defend itself, otherwise, under certain circumstances, Russia will be ready to use nuclear weapons. Blackmail is also directed towards the Ukrainians in the sense that if you effectively resist killing you, then we can still drop a nuclear bomb on you. For Ukraine, such blackmail makes no sense at all. This state will, under any circumstances, defend itself to the extent possible, even if nuclear weapons are used against it.

In this situation, international organizations, and primarily the UN, should have taken tough preventive measures, but the UN is practically inactive, and therefore there are virtually no deterrents for Putin. The Fuhrer of Russia, dying of old age and illness, may well decide to launch a nuclear attack, if only in order to deprive him of a trace in human history, even if in such a terrible way. The people of Russia and Putin’s entourage themselves could have prevented Putin from this madness, but they are afraid to even write against him, and hundreds of thousands of people are being driven to the front in Ukraine to be slaughtered. Russians are dying like silent cattle and don’t even moo.

The third world war, if it has not yet begun, could break out at any minute. But those who are dead or dying from radiation sickness do not need cryptocurrency.

EG playing devils advocate, if i was russia i would have(based on their promotions) used their so called precision missiles to in unison take out precision strikes on all ukrainian political buildings and military bases and void ukraine of any military response in one day

Of course, Russia tried from the first days of its invasion to attack Kyiv and its central military and political organizations. Thus, it is known that in the first days of the invasion in the skies over Kiev, seven Russian military aircraft were shot down in just 11 minutes of battle, after which the Russian invaders became more cautious.
https://www.unian.net/war/zenitchik-rasskazal-kak-v-nachale-voyny-oboronyali-nebo-nad-kievom-novosti-kieva-11928549.html

Russia has also shelled the city of Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, as well as military installations throughout Ukraine, since the early days of its invasion. Explosions were recorded in different parts of Kyiv, but in the central part, where the central authorities were located, there were practically no explosions. Most likely, Ukrainian air defense worked well there, which did not yet have the ability to effectively cover the sky over all of Kiev. But in response to a corresponding question, the Kremlin then said that they were not shelling the buildings of the central authorities of Kyiv because there was someone to sign the surrender of Ukraine.
In any case, later Putin’s army tried to destroy the central part of Kyiv, even using their new “dagger” missiles, but by that time Kyiv was under relatively reliable air defense protection. But rocket attacks on Kyiv and drone attacks have continued for the third year.

As for military facilities, the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces secretly moved equipment, primarily aircraft, to alternate deployment sites before the attack, and this made it possible to preserve the bulk of aviation and other military equipment of Ukraine. Because of this, in the first months of a large-scale war, the Russians suffered staggering losses, forcing the aggressor army to withdraw its troops from central and northern Ukraine.
214  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of war on global economy. on: March 13, 2024, 03:51:53 PM
The Estonian Foreign Intelligence Service said the Kremlin is preparing for a possible conflict with NATO that could arise in the next decade, in particular by moving to a mass army model.
Nobody cares what that US sockpuppet has to say. Estonia is de-facto governed by the US. These poor Estonian guys just literally receive their press-releases and speeches from the US embassy. The Estonian Foreign Intelligence Service = CIA. They keep whining about Russia attacking them for like last 20-25 years or so already.

As the intelligence report explains, Russia's intentions are evidenced by army reforms initiated by Russian Defense Minister Shoigu. In particular, the Russians decided to eliminate the joint strategic commands and return to the model of command and control by types of forces and special forces. Thus, in the northwestern part of the Russian Federation, the Baltic and Northern Fleet will be transferred to the direct subordination of the Russian Navy, and the air defense will be subordinated to the Aerospace Forces. Military districts will begin to function as territorial military commands.
How can these reforms be a proof of Russia preparing an attack on the Baltics?

Another change: on February 26, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree “On military-administrative separation.” Now in Russia the Western Military District (WMD) will be disbanded, and in its place the Leningrad (LPO) and Moscow (MPO) military districts will be formed, as was the case before 2010. The decree, according to analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), is a sign that Russia is preparing for war against NATO. This is due to the fact that the LPO will now cover the area along the northeastern border of NATO, and the MVO will border the northeastern part of Ukraine and Poland. This does not stretch the strategic focus, as in the case of the Western Military District, and will allow the Russian Federation to simultaneously field troops against NATO countries, optimize command and control over troops for waging war in Ukraine.
This is Russia's response to a further unreasonable NATO expansion (Finland + Sweden).

No, you are definitely a Russian, if not by nationality, then by the great imperial Russian ideology. Finland and Sweden submitted their applications to join NATO after Russia carried out a large-scale military invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Isn't this a sufficient justification for joining this alliance, when they saw how Russia is trying to brazenly and brutally destroy a neighboring state? On the other hand, only the people of Finland and Sweden, as well as the government they elected, can determine their foreign policy course, and no Russia has the right to tell them here.
Russia has already attacked the borders of Finland with refugees from third countries, as it previously tried to do on the Belarusian-Polish border. Therefore, Finland was forced to completely close the border with Russia since last fall.

As for Russia’s preparations for an attack on NATO countries, in particular the Baltic countries, in this matter each country relies on its own sources, including its intelligence data, and publishes only its conclusions, and not the facts about such preparations. From the point of view of Kremlin propaganda, of course, all countries that have not fallen under Russian influence are puppets of the United States.

Until the very last day before the attack on Ukraine, Putin and his circle denied at all official levels the possibility of an attack on it. Therefore, European countries already know that the Putin regime cannot be taken at its word. And since the Kremlin’s mouthpieces periodically continue to threaten a good half of European countries with various methods of military attack, even this is enough for these countries to consider such a threat real. Partly because of this, Europe is now increasing the size and armament of its army, increasing the production of the defense industry and continues to provide all possible assistance to Ukraine to protect it from Russian occupiers.

The container ship Al Jasra
container ship, the MSC Palatium III
 sank the Rubymar,
Again I'm still curious why you think it's OK for Ukrainian to attack assets of their invaders:
- SGV-Flot, oil tanker attacked by a Ukrainian missile
- Seraphim Sarovskiy attacked by a Ukrainian missile
- Lady Anastasia, a luxury yacht with an attempted scuttling
- Sig, a tanker attacked by a Ukrainian unmanned boat
- a lot more mine attacks...
But not for others to attack the assets of their invaders?!!
Ukraine has been subjected to a large-scale attack by the Russian army and has been defending itself for the third year from continuous attacks from all types of weapons on both military and civilian targets. Russia is trying to seize the territory of Ukraine and destroy it as a state and Ukrainians as a nation. At the same time, Ukraine has the right to active defense, that is, the right to strike military targets, as well as dual-use objects on the territory of Russia itself.

Thus, on August 5, 2023, the SBU, together with the Ukrainian Navy, launched a surface drone attack on the large Russian tanker Sig., which was under US sanctions due to the supply of aviation fuel from Crimea to Syria. The incident occurred at a distance of 32 miles from the Kerch Strait, that is, in the internationally recognized territorial waters of Ukraine. The ship received a hole in the area of the engine room - water was pumped out of it, and it remained afloat.
As noted in Ukraine, the damage to the Sig tanker is a symmetrical response to Russia’s attempts to block shipping to Ukrainian ports and stop grain transportation. But first of all, this tanker was used for military purposes and was in the territorial waters of Ukraine.

Regarding the other vessels you listed, more information needs to be provided about such attacks.

Forget the fairy tale about the “second army of the world”, in Ukraine they have not been able to achieve any noticeable successes in two years,

...  Russia has been fighting the entire Western world in this war. What would Ukraine do without all that military and financial assistance from the west? Without that assistance the war would be long over.

Russia is not at war with the entire Western world. Yes, European countries, the USA and some others provide financial and military assistance to Ukraine. But military aid is too selective. Until now, the allies are afraid to transfer long-range missiles to Ukraine, such as the German TAURUS with a range of 500 kilometers, as well as other long-range missiles. Only those missiles that have a short firing range are transferred to the anti-aircraft missile systems supplied to Ukraine. If Russia had fought against the entire Western world, Ukraine would have already had the opportunity to destroy the Crimean Bridge, through which Russian troops are constantly supplied on the southern front, and without it, the front from the Crimean Bridge would have long since collapsed for the invaders.

In addition, Ukraine attacks military and dual-use targets on Russian territory mainly only with Ukrainian-made drones, which it is still modernizing. One can only imagine what would be happening now on Russian territory if at least the same number of missiles and shells that Russia is now launching into Ukraine had exploded there.

Ukraine also still does not have Western aviation or Western naval forces. If Russia had really collided militarily with the Western world, the war would have ended long ago, but not in Russia’s favor.

Currently, the price of Bitcoin is $72,070 and it looks like its growth is not going to stop yet. The current situation before halving is special. Never before has Bitcoin updated its historical price maximum before the halving, and not within a year after it. Its price is rising now as demand and trading volume for new Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds increases, and with hopes that the Federal Reserve will soon cut interest rates. For now, all this is difficult to predict, although it is logical that the price of Bitcoin will continue to grow actively for some time. At the same time, there must be a correction and it is already late.

*Reposting this topic from my post in other forum.

There is a huge possibility of younger or new generations adopting cryptocurrency investments compared to them getting interests on farming and food related sectors. What do you think? Does it have a good or bad effects on our economy?
I don't think it will effect the economy. The younger generation is not only focused on investments like crypto. There are many young people who are exposed to technology and are dedicated to inventing and developing new technologies and machines. These innovations are aimed at making it simpler and easier for humans to do heavy work, such as farming and any food-related productions.
With the advent of cryptocurrency in the world in general and in the economic sphere in particular, nothing much will change. Cryptocurrency does not create material wealth, does not increase the volume of manufactured products and food products. Cryptocurrency only slightly redistributes financial flows. At the same time, the population of our planet is increasing, and due to sudden climate change, the volume of agricultural land is decreasing. If the younger generation can eat less, then perhaps they will choose finance as a priority, including more involvement in cryptocurrency. But this is unlikely to happen directly on the scale of an entire generation.

The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine is causing inflation, and inflation is bringing hardship on the people, if the war did not come to an end soon all what you have said will be experienced because some people will no longer listen to their government, since the government can't fend for them anymore.

Violence is already everywhere but not up to its peak, the world is not save anymore due to corruption and high crime rates. Terrorist, bandits and kidnappers are everywhere and when that time comes, people might be left with no option but join these group for free access to weapons and dominance.
Inflation is not the most terrible consequence of Russia’s war on the territory of Ukraine. Violence and chaos in the world begin when the civilized world does not react in time to wars of conquest and allows the aggressor to commit violence in order, in the opinion of the world community, to avoid an even greater spread of violence. This tactic is nothing more than complacency and deception. The aggressor sees that he is allowed to commit violence and he moves on. In this case, violence spreads with even greater probability and force.

If civilized states had taken decisive steps to put Putin's Russia in its place after Russia seized the Ukrainian roll-island of Crimea and territories in eastern Ukraine in 2014, there would have been no large-scale invasion of Ukraine. The West, due to its inactivity, has now reached the point where outbreaks of violence and local wars are occurring in many regions. The United States and European countries in the initial phase of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine were afraid to transfer effective weapons to Ukraine for protection, and now, because of this, they are forced to sharply increase military production in their countries and are directly preparing to defend their territory.

If Ukraine is not helped, it will be conquered by a stronger Russia, after which Russia will certainly attack the Baltic countries - Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. At the same time, Russia will force Ukrainians to fight on its side. Therefore, evil, if not stopped in time, will grow throughout the world. Other authoritarian states such as North Korea, Iran, China will take advantage of the weakness of democracy and also begin their wars of conquest. Then this will lead to the Third World War.

What makes you think so? Have you got any proof? Any source to support your claim? Russia does not need the Baltic States. These countries are tiny, have no valuable resources and are protected by NATO as member states. Russia is not ready to take on NATO now and won't be in foreseeable future.
The Estonian Foreign Intelligence Service said the Kremlin is preparing for a possible conflict with NATO that could arise in the next decade, in particular by moving to a mass army model.

The third important management change in the Russian Army is the addition of a corps command level to the command structure of the ground forces. It is planned to switch to a four-level management scheme: military district - army - corps - division. Previously, army corps were already part of the structure of the Russian ground forces, but they were only located in geographically isolated regions, such as the Kaliningrad region, Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands or the Kola Peninsula.

Shoigu's reform also envisages increasing the number of troops to 1.5 million by 2026, reorganizing 12 ground and naval brigades into divisions and creating dozens of new units larger than a regiment in the ground forces, air force, navy and airborne forces.

Last year, Russia deployed Kalibr missile-carrying ships to Lake Ladoga near St. Petersburg for the first time. Already, the Russians are actively using electronic warfare systems, communications suppression, and GPS signals in the Baltic region.

Germany has already developed a secret plan in the event of a “dramatic scenario of a hybrid large-scale Russian attack on NATO’s eastern flank” in the summer of 2025.

The first stage, according to the German military, will begin this spring with the additional mobilization of 200 thousand military personnel in Russia and the successful spring offensive of the Russian army in Ukraine until June this year. In July, Russia will begin, first covertly, and then increasingly overtly, an attack on Western countries using cyber sabotage and other hybrid methods of warfare - mainly against the Baltic countries.

In September, Russia begins large-scale Zapad 2024 exercises in western Russia and Belarus, in October it deploys medium-range missiles and builds up its troops in the Kaliningrad region, ostensibly to preempt an impending NATO attack. In fact, Russia plans to seize the narrow Suwalki corridor on the border between Poland and Lithuania and stage a border conflict there in December 2024 with numerous casualties. In May 2025, NATO decides on deterrence measures to prevent Russia from attacking the Suwalki corridor from the Kaliningrad region and from Belarus.

And then, in conditions of temporary anarchy in the United States after the presidential elections, Russia repeats the Eastern Ukrainian scenario of 2014, but on NATO territory. On “Day X,” the NATO commander-in-chief orders the transfer of 300 thousand alliance troops, including 30 thousand Bundeswehr soldiers to NATO’s eastern flank. It is not clear how the escalation ends: on the 30th day after “Day X”, half a million heavily armed Russian and NATO soldiers will confront each other in the area of the Suwalki corridor.
