1201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big sad on: August 28, 2021, 04:16:54 AM
Investing in crypto needs patient because we do not know when the price can increase. Sometimes, the price can increase in the next days, weeks, or even a year and along that time, we will see the price will always fluctuate and that can make us become impatient. If we become impatient, we can sell it right away without thinking that the price will be back to the higher price, especially if that coin has a chance to increase. At least, you know that patience will be needed in crypto investment so you need to learn more about that and not become a weak hand holding your coin.
Sometimes it is useful to know what the team of cryptocurrencies is doing that we keep in our wallets before deciding to sell it. Recently, important events have been taking place on the Cardano network: this coin is switching to the POS algorithm and provides for smart contracts, and this expands its capabilities, which lead to an increase in its price. In this regard, Cardano has already taken the third place in terms of capitalization and is growing pretty decently in price.
1202  Economy / Economics / Re: Bullish? Bankers Issue ‘Seismic’ Warning: crypto could replace USD in 5 years on: August 27, 2021, 05:37:44 PM
I put a question mark in the title because I don't trust the banks, and I don't know if this is a way of telling the public authorities to put more restrictions on cryptocurrencies. Or I don't know if it is a way of surrendering to the evidence, and in the same way that for many years they ignored Bitocoin and cryptocurrencies, but now they are going to offer custody services, etc., they now recognize that this is unstoppable.

Bankers Issue ‘Seismic’ Warning: Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, Cardano And XRP Could Replace The Dollar In Just Five Years As Crypto Market Price Adds $1 Trillion

".a poll of mostly banking executives found most think bitcoin and digital assets could replace fiat currencies like the U.S. dollar within the next five to 10 years—a shift described as "seismic." <...> "A strong majority (81%) of the almost 1,300 executives questioned think blockchain, the technology that underpins bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, is broadly scalable and has already achieved mainstream adoption. Meanwhile, 73% think their company should adopt crypto and blockchain or risk losing competitive advantage.

"The foundation of banking has been fundamentally outlived and financial services industry players must redefine themselves and find innovative ways to create economic growth in the future of money," Pawczuk, who heads up Deloitte's global blockchain and digital assets practice, said in a statement alongside the report.

This year, Wall Street banks from Goldman Sachs GS +1% to JPMorgan JPM +1.6% have begun rolling out bitcoin and crypto services to their clients as central banks around the world experiment with blockchain-based central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).
"
I would not trust the results of such surveys. In fact, the news described does not come from the bankers themselves, but from the people interviewed. Now let's think about who could make such predictions. These are probably people who are already familiar with cryptocurrency, who have invested their money in it and expect its price growth. People who are not familiar with cryptocurrency and are not interested in it cannot generally make predictions about the alleged replacement of the dollar with cryptocurrency. Well, we already know the optimistic forecasts even on this forum. If the dollar does not have trouble for other reasons, the cryptocurrency is not afraid of it yet.
1203  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the validity of a mixed economy system? on: August 26, 2021, 07:06:31 AM
An economic system is pattern and strategies in which scarce national wealth and resources are control and shared in the economy. There different types of economic system which include capitalism, socialism and mixed economy,to mention but few.

A capitalist economy is an economic system where means of production and distribution are own and control by private sector.Example of capitalist economy include the united state of America.

Socialism is said to be an economic system which means of production and distribution are managed and control by the government.for example china and Russia.

But practically, does a mixed economy exit or is every economy a mixed economy?. After the second world war and the great depression in Great Britain, the classical economists theory of laissez-fair (an economy without government intervention)was highly criticized by John Maynard Keynes which gave birth to a mixed economic system.

What is a mixed economy?
A mixed economy is an economic system which comprises capitalism and socialism.these entail and economy where means of production and distribution are managed and control by both private and public sectors.

Now even united state of America as an example of a capitalist economy has the government regulating and also taking part in the decision making of the economy.does that makes it a mixed economic also?

Also, socialist countries like Cuba, Russia, and china has public sectors also taking part in the decision making of the economy.does that makes those countries mixed economies?

I stand to be corrected and enlightened though.

Now in our world there are no longer purely socialist states, and there have never been communist states at all and, most likely, never will be. A communist society with equality and universal abundance is a utopia, an unfulfilled dream.
China and Russia are cited here as examples of socialist states. These states have long ceased to be socialist states. The division into capitalism and socialism is a thing of the past. Now we need to consider states from the point of view of the development of economies and the degree of citizens' freedoms. At the same time, the political superstructure is already just slogans that do not work in practice.
1204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South African Man Loses $900,000 Worth Of BTC After Accidentally Deleting Keys on: August 26, 2021, 06:46:26 AM
You just don't have to trust electronics. It must be borne in mind that all this equipment has the ability to break down and become unusable for various reasons. All secret keys still need to be unambiguously printed in paper form and stored securely. And it is stupid to store them in electronic form for several reasons. You always need to be reinsured, especially when it comes to large amounts.
A significant part of the cryptocurrency is lost and will still be lost due to errors and careless actions that cryptocurrency owners commit. In general, there is nothing we can do about this problem. Such problems will always arise from time to time.
1205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you consider living on crypto? on: August 26, 2021, 06:20:00 AM
This topic has already been discussed many times. The majority agreed that it is still almost impossible to use one cryptocurrency, since not all goods and services can be paid in cryptocurrency. And there is no reason to do it. You need to use all types of currencies, depending on how profitable it is to use them in a particular situation. State currencies and cryptocurrencies have their own advantages and disadvantages. It is necessary to take advantage of all their types and convert one to another if necessary.
1206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not everyone can be lucky when it comes to shitcoins on: August 25, 2021, 04:22:27 PM
No one is 100% lucky in the world of crypto, the volatility of cryptocurrency makes it unpredictable, there are some shitcoins that are good for investing and I am really proof of it because I already earned huge money from those shitcoins, I can say that I am lucky with that one, but still we are still in the crypto world, nothing has assurance.
I also believe that you can earn money on shitcoins only in the first and not very long time. They only grow in value due to the hype and excitement. Those who invested relatively early and got into this short period of growth wins and makes a very large profit if they sell them on time. All others suffer great losses. Sometimes they promote practically copies of the same projects, but the second time it almost does not work.
I prefer fundamental coins such as bitcoin and ethereum .. I work with tokens until a certain period of large profit, after which I convert to these coins. Dogecoin and other varieties of dogs, cats and other animals that have no real product, I'm not even interested.
1207  Economy / Economics / Re: Pakistan's Economy are going to crisis for Taliban? on: August 25, 2021, 06:49:59 AM
Yes, the situation in Afghanistan is likely to continue to deteriorate and this will have a negative impact on the economies of neighboring states and, above all, Pakistan. The Taliban who came to power proclaimed the creation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in the country and in practice this would mean a tough totalitarian regime under the guise of Sharia law. Already in the first days, the violation of human rights there reached such a scale that the entire civilized world realized that this must be urgently countered. Afghanistan is a very poor country that relied on economic aid from developed countries. The central bank of this country now has about $ 9.4 billion, which are mainly located in the banks of the United States and other countries, and these funds have already been frozen in foreign banks. I think there will be military intervention soon. First of all, we are talking about possible attempts by the United States to bomb its own military equipment, which they transferred to the former government forces of Afghanistan, so that it would not go to the Taliban or be transferred to Russia or China. In all likelihood, in the future we will see the complete economic isolation of the Taliban, and therefore of Afghanistan, which will also have a negative impact on neighboring states and especially Pakistan, which has always provided assistance to the Taliban.
1208  Economy / Economics / Re: Enjoy comunism (III) rats eating dead people and people eating rats in NK on: August 25, 2021, 06:20:32 AM
Better mention it as dictatorship because every communist country is almost having the dictatorship rule which doesn't care about the people still they are funding the nuclear weapon research. I think Kim also accepted the hindrance of food supplies in their country in the international media which he never did that before itself a proof that how worse the situation of North Korea at the moment.

If there is something called God then please take care of such people.
This is true because I don’t see a single really Souialist or Communist state right now. After all, socialism and communism in theory are completely different from what we see in practice in states that call themselves socialist or communist. The main slogan of communism is from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs. That is, a communist society presupposes a complete abundance of material wealth. If this is not the case, then such states cannot be considered communist. North Korea is a purely totalitarian state and has nothing to do with socialism or communism.
1209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Timing to Hodl tokens is very important. on: August 24, 2021, 07:19:03 AM
A lot people argue about if it is better to hodl on the long term or the short term neglecting the most important thing.
The timing with which you have to hodl your tokens or investment is very important, to ensure you do not rekt.

For every token, there is a time to hodl, and time not too, figure out the timing before investment.
The time that we hold our cryptocurrency primarily depends on the cryptocurrency itself, the prospects of its project. Some coins or tokens can be held for a long time, others only for a certain time, after which it will be correct to sell it. Of course, the top ten coins listed in CoinM will always be preferable for long-term holding due to the fact that they already have a high level of capitalization. As for the rest of the cryptocurrencies, as practice shows, it is necessary to observe the growth and development of projects, the cryptocurrency of which we hold, in order to make the necessary decisions on time.
1210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it really that hard to make ethereum faster and cheaper? on: August 24, 2021, 06:27:32 AM
I really don't think it is so hard to make ethereum faster and the transaction cost lower binance smart chain for example was built on the ethereum Blockchain but in a some way that projects built on the BSC has much lower transaction fees and are faster.
Swapping coins on Uniswap for example has been charging people too high for swaps and it needs to be checked
It is difficult to solve this problem very quickly. Issues like these cannot be resolved in a short line. Here, first, everything needs to be rechecked many times so as not to make mistakes. Better to upgrade the ethereum network as planned than massive disruptions. This update has been going on for about 9 months already. It is expected to be completed early next year.
BSC is a modified copy of ethereum and has a lot of flaws. Therefore, it is better to be patient for a while. Gas charges are already periodically falling to normal levels.
1211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoins Be Cashed? on: August 24, 2021, 06:02:09 AM
In theory, this is quite possible, however, under the current conditions, the states do not yet see a real danger to global financial stability from the side of cryptocurrency. While the attitude of states towards cryptocurrency is different, there is no consensus.
If this does happen, and all states decide to prohibit the use of cryptocurrency, all exchanges and exchangers, then of course, this will be a significant blow to it. I hope this will not happen, as many states have already legalized cryptocurrency.
1212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Analysts announce the start of altcoin season on: August 21, 2021, 04:16:57 AM
The price movements of the past few days indicate that the altseason has started and maybe the price of altcoins will rise quite significantly. Bitcoin price continues to rise but is also followed by altcoins with a declining Bitcoin dominance indicating that investors are starting to buy altcoins and this is indicated by the altcoin transaction value increasing by tens of percent
It looks like it is. While Bitcoin's price has climbed to $ 48,908 today, at the same time its dominance rate has dropped to 43.8 percent. This indicates that a significant part of the capital is still invested in altcoins. Therefore, it is likely that soon we will see a good price increase in altcoins again. Against the background of good overall growth, ethereum is showing very modest achievements so far. This ace coin is still trampled at $ 3200 - $ 3300. Apparently due to the fact that so far there is not much progress in reducing transaction fees.
1213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Explanation Why Cryptocurrencies Are Not Legalized? on: August 21, 2021, 03:56:30 AM
Cryptocurrency is a completely new phenomenon in the financial world. Since it is decentralized and cannot be controlled by states and, in addition, has a very high degree of volatility, states are in no hurry to legalize it, preferring to take a closer look at it for now. But due to the fact that the G20 countries have so far decided that cryptocurrency does not pose a threat to global financial stability, such legalization has already taken place in many states. It is already positive that only in a few countries the cryptocurrency is prohibited for circulation. In general, so far, cryptocurrency is quite successfully accepted by people, organizations and governments.
1214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crash or new sunrise of crypto on: August 20, 2021, 04:32:02 PM
Actually no one really knows what will happen in the crypto market in the future, but there are high hopes that the decline that occurred some time ago was just a correction and a normal thing in the crypto market, from what I observed at this time the market has started repairing ourselves and starting to go green, I just hope that this will truly be a shining light towards the new ATH, and we can get the sweet fruit of our patience.
Events related to the price movement of the cryptocurrency this year once again clearly demonstrate that the cryptocurrency does not have clear periods of price growth, since the ratio of demand in the cryptocurrency market is constantly changing and largely depends on the economic and political processes that occur in each state. And these processes do not occur cyclically. Therefore, the fall of May was not followed by the same long period of bear market as it was after the spring of 2018. Now the summer period and the period of mass vacations are still continuing, and then we see a good price growth of the cryptocurrency. I think that in the fall we will see the next stage of the bull race.
1215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The relationship between Bitcoin and human civilization on: August 20, 2021, 03:59:09 PM
Bitcoin is a product of evolution. The birth of bitcoin was an inevitable result when computer science was born and developed. Since Alanturning invented the first mechanical computer to date, the application of computers in different areas of society, waiting for life has been very clear. People use computers for work more often. Along with computers, the banking system took advantage of that to make cross-border money transfers.
Banks' security problems with high transaction fees and long transaction times. It is Bitcoin that is key when it comes to revolutionizing anonymity on the Tor network, with zero transaction costs.
To date, Bitcoin has made millions of transactions and made people financially free. They get out of the bank and fight inflation. Assets are flowing into Bitcoin, long-term Bitcoin holders are reaping the rewards.
Blockchain technology and bitcoin as the first decentralized cryptocurrency made a great contribution to the financial independence of people from the existing government. However, the emergence of bitcoin and decentralized cryptocurrency can hardly be regarded as the emergence of a new human civilization. The new human civilization is characterized by completely different criteria. Of course, this is an important event, but not enough to compare it with the beginning of a new human civilization.
In addition, cryptocurrencies need to be time-tested. Twelve years is still very little to talk about the world greatness of such an invention.
1216  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency: The Future of Finance in a New World Order? on: August 20, 2021, 10:30:30 AM
It is not so much about replacing the physically currency but about the regulators and banks world over realizing that the people's movement of their right to have Bitcoin isn't going anywhere.

They cannot just make open source software illegal on a legislative whim. A gradual consensus is emerging within Civil society aided by certain rich individuals (Jack, Elon) that the Govt does not get to have a monopoly on currency. Over the course of development of money, governments have been the de-facto power. Nobody questioned it. Any attempts to change the system were met with retribution because those were started by people or groups. Now, here we have an alternative to money which the government cannot morally and ethically call wrong.

It is open source and people are choosing to use it. Just the way that people choose democracy and give all the power to chosen representative. Power flows from the people and thats what bitcoin has enabled in terms of Socio-economic power.
I do not think that the situation with digital currency will dramatically change relations in the global financial market in the near future. The world is moving towards the digitization of currencies, but this process will be quite slow. Finance doesn't like quick changes. In addition, the complete prohibition of cryptocurrency by most states cannot be ruled out. Now there are more and more calls from officials to regulate the circulation of cryptocurrency more strictly due to the fact that it is used for criminal purposes, including for laundering dirty money and financing terrorism.
We do not know what may happen in the future. Now, if the Taliban, who seized power in Afghanistan, begin a confrontation with the West and the United States, and in connection with the sanctions applied, they begin to use cryptocurrency, then it is possible that it may be completely outlawed by the G20 states. Moreover, there are many such options.
1217  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: I want to report crypto currencies stealing, where should i go? on: August 19, 2021, 12:20:25 PM
Hello
I was a victim of crypto currencies stealing, a hacker was able to log to my email account, and find the 12 words in my email for multiple wallets , then he/she/they transfer everything (37Eth, 20ETC, 0.07BTC, 20 BCH , 30000 Doge) rounded numbers. this was in Nov-2019. i really couldn't do anything at this time, asked some of my friends, everybody said no way to get it back

Now i have some details about the subspecies hacker , but it need an law enforcement authorities to investigate more starting with the information  i have.

I try to report to the local authorities without any luck ( i am living in the middle east).

The subspecies hacker suppose to be living in Russia ( Mosco or san Petersburg) at least with the information i have.

Where Should i go ??
First of all, you need to look at your country's criminal procedure code. Typically, the victim of a crime must report to the police at the scene of the crime. If the crime scene is unknown, then at the place of residence.
However, in this case, the situation is special for several reasons. Firstly, not all states have a cryptocurrency legalized, which means that the state has determined its legal status and recognizes it as an object that qualifies as property that is subject to protection. Secondly, such crimes are very difficult to investigate because they are associated with actions in many states, and therefore the interaction of law enforcement agencies of all these states is necessary. Such interaction is carried out if appropriate agreements have been concluded between them. Thirdly, about two years have passed and it will be very difficult to verify what happened. Therefore, there is almost no chance of a successful outcome of such an investigation.
1218  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Mining tax in Kazakhstan on: August 19, 2021, 10:42:08 AM
I don't think that's a cheap rate at all.

Mining is already a very small profit margin business that needs a ton of scale to even be profitable in the first place. To add a 5-10% tax on gross expenditures could be a death sentence for a lot of small mining businesses that have just started up.

Not sure what their intentions/plan is to be honest. What are they even trying to achieve? If it's revenue collection I'm sure they can find better ways than targeting this niche market.
I calculated that miners in Kazakhstan will have to pay about one dollar for 500 kW of electricity starting next year. I don’t think this is a big tax, given that only 14 percent of energy in Kazakhstan is produced from water, and the rest comes from coal, oil and gas. If expensive carbohydrate energy sources are consumed, the state must reimburse the costs of its production. I do not think that after the introduction of such a tax, miners will leave Kazakhstan.
1219  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2021-07-10 Medium - How Much Will One Bitcoin Be Worth In 20 Years? on: August 19, 2021, 05:14:36 AM
IMO, Bitcoin will be able to achieve it's peak valuation in another 10 years or so (~2030). I don't want to predict the scenario for very distant future, because similar to other technological innovations, Bitcoin also has a limited shelf-life. In fact it is surprising that despite so much of competition from technologically superior altcoins such as Cardano, Polkadot and Chainlink, none of them have even come close to topple Bitcoin from the top position. Anyway, I am skeptical about Bitcoin surviving for the very distant future. The current format for private keys are not going to hold for more than 10-15 years from now. Either Bitcoin will be replaced, or it will undergo hard-forks to remove the vulnerabilities.
Well, I quite agree with your point of view. In another ten years, everything will change. We see that the current cryptocurrency is far from perfect, and therefore it will continue to change and improve. Bitcoin in this regard is already far behind. In ten years, he will either become different or lose his status as the leader of the cryptocurrency. As for its price, its estimated price even at half a million dollars seems to me from the realm of fantasy. The higher the price of bitcoin rises, the more difficult such an increase will be. I do not know who will invest such large sums of money, seeing that it still periodically drops in price, although so far with a general rise in price. In general, it is too difficult to build forecasts for the development of cryptocurrency, and especially its price.
1220  Economy / Economics / Re: Enjoy comunism (II): Venezuela to cut 6 zeros from its currency on: August 18, 2021, 04:51:15 PM
I do not think that the issue is related to communism, because there are many economically successful communist regimes, but the issue is related to mismanagement, corruption and the failed government that did not succeed in solving the basic economic problems and instead resorts to temporary solutions instead of searching for a solution to the problem from its roots.
Removing 6 zeros from the currency is a ridiculous game that will not solve the intractable economic problems in Venezuela. It is already a farce. Inflation will continue because they pump more worthless paper currency and they think that this will solve the problem, but the truth is that this will complicate the problem so that it becomes impossible to solve and the economy collapses .
Now there are no purely socialist or communist states as they were before. Venezuela is now just an economically backward state. Of course, removing the six zeros on your bolivar banknotes is necessary at least to simplify the calculations. However, this will absolutely not affect the economic state of the country. Here we need to systematically raise the economy. Changing money to circulate for euro, pound or bitcoin will hardly give anything if there is no economic growth.
