401  Economy / Economics / Re: Food security in the world has been shaken by Russia's actions on: July 20, 2023, 10:58:33 AM

But Russia also raised some valid points. The Kremlin claimed that the West is not keeping its part of the agreement. Russian agricultural products have been restricted from the international market, which is against the agreement. Another point is that one of the main reasons for this agreement is the negative effect the grain blockade had on poor nations. Russia agreed to lift the blockade because many poor nations might experience severe food shortages. But from different reports, it is only 4.5% of grains from Ukraine went to poorest nations. Most of them were diverted to influential nations.

It seems that you are using the data voiced by Putin, who, as you know, cannot be trusted. Statements by Russian President Putin that allegedly 45% of the grain in the framework of the "grain deal" were delivered to European countries and only 3% to Africa - do not correspond to reality.

This was stated by the speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko.
"Russia does not stop trying to undermine the Black Sea Grain Initiative. The indicated statistics are not true. From August 1, 2022 (to March 20, 2023), Ukraine exported 25.1 million tons of agricultural products through the grain corridor to 45 countries of the world:
Africa - 2.9 million tons (11.6%)
Asia - 12.1 million tons (48.2%)
Europe - 10.1 million tons (40.2%)
Russia is also well aware that part of the Ukrainian grain purchased by the “well-fed countries” of Europe is sent as humanitarian re-export to Africa and Asia. Therefore, the real statistics of exports to the African continent is even higher than 11.6%. Not to mention the fact that almost 50% of the production goes to support Asian countries," the Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

402  Economy / Economics / Re: Population: Economic strength or weakness on: July 20, 2023, 06:29:20 AM
China and India are most populous countries in the world and are one of big global powers. Clearly they both have utilised there population as there strength rather then a weakness. Also there are countries like Switzerland,  who have very small population still they are very much developed. So population alone is not a criteria for success or failure. You need to have a road map about how to proceed in right direction.
The strength of each nation depends on many reasons. If we take into account the population, then its contribution to the development of the economic power of the state will determine not the number of the population as a whole, but the number of able-bodied population compared to the disabled. Then the development of industry in the country and the education of the population are of great importance. Indeed, in countries where the majority of the population is employed in agriculture with a predominance of manual labor, even their enormous efforts will be generally ineffective. Therefore, everything in the state must be balanced, depending on the location of the state, climate, soil conditions, historical employment of the population, and many other reasons.
403  Economy / Economics / Food security in the world has been shaken by Russia's actions on: July 20, 2023, 05:08:11 AM
On July 17, 2023, Russia withdrew from the “grain agreement” and officially notified Turkey and Ukraine, as well as the UN secretariat, of its objection to the extension of the “grain deal” for the export of grain and other agricultural products from Ukrainian ports to the world market.

In connection with the termination of the Black Sea Initiative and the curtailment of the maritime humanitarian corridor, from 00:00 Moscow time on July 20, 2023, all ships en route to Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea will be considered as potential carriers of military cargo. Accordingly, the flag countries of such vessels will be considered involved in the Ukrainian conflict on the side of the Kyiv regime, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

Thus, Russia stated that it intends to sink any civilian ships that will be sent to the Black Sea ports of Ukraine. This will greatly complicate the delivery of agricultural products to many poor regions of the world. Due to Russia's sabotage of the "grain corridor" in recent months, the world has not received an additional 25 million tons of agricultural products from Ukraine. In total, 1,002 vessels left Ukrainian ports during the year of this agreement. According to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, since the start of the “grain agreement”, more than 33 million tons of products of Ukrainian farmers have been exported to 45 countries of the world.

It is worth noting that after withdrawing from the grain deal, Russia has been attacking Ukrainian ports with missiles and drones for the third night in a row, trying to hit terminals with Ukrainian grain. So, on July 19, 60,000 tons of grain were destroyed in the terminal of the Ukrainian port of Chornomorsk, which was planned to be delivered to the world market two months ago.

With its piracy, Russia is blackmailing the whole world, trying to partially lift sanctions for its military invasion of Ukraine and jeopardizing food security in the world, thereby increasing the threat of hunger in many poor countries of the world.

404  Economy / Economics / Re: New currency from BRICS countries on: July 19, 2023, 01:33:39 PM

The 15th BRICS summit is going to be very interesting which will be held on 22 – 24 August (about a month from now) and some are saying the BRICS new currency will be revealed then. This could potentially have a significant effect on the ongoing dedollarisation around the globe.
This summit of the BRICS countries still arouses a very lively interest in that South Africa is the host country and Putin should be present as president of Russia. Now passions are running high as South Africa is a member of the International Criminal Court and is obliged to comply with an arrest warrant issued by this court against Putin. In South Africa, they are still looking for options on how to get out of this delicate situation.

Nevertheless, in relation to the new currency of the BRICS countries, even among the members of this union there is no single vision of what kind of currency it could be. Therefore, in this matter, I do not expect any sensations. In any case, it will be another type of fiat and the appearance of the cryptocurrency will not be affected.
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The hypocrisy of the UK on Cryptocurrency on: July 19, 2023, 11:10:37 AM
I do not see anything strange in this behavior of UK banks. Banks are an economic and at the same time a political instrument of any state, regardless of their form of ownership. Even in minor matters, they must act strictly according to the instructions of the higher authorities. And almost all states are not very friendly towards cryptocurrency. Therefore, it would be foolish to assume that their governments will stand by as the cryptocurrency grows and gains strength and influence among the population. At the same time, it must listen to the opinion of its future constituents. Therefore, this process is ambiguous. This explains why governments cannot decide on their attitude towards cryptocurrency, although they are trying to tighten its regulation in some places. The degree of freedom of speech and the rights of the population is also of great importance here.
406  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: July 19, 2023, 07:06:04 AM
I think its now high timebwe stop getting moved by the outcome of staging a protest in the name of expressing displeasure, we have many areas of the economy that needed amendment especially in the economical era of fiat system and our government interference innit, on countless occasions there have been protect against the government and i see this bitcoin protest as just a minor one compared to the ones wage against the government on bad economy situation, this protect is just like a group of less than 50 protesters influenced by the anti bitcoin entities to cause disrupt, because base on the statistics above we could see how the percentage of those that make use of the chivo wallet is high.
On the issue of accepting bitcoin or other decentralized cryptocurrency from the state, one should not rush. Here is a completely different principle of their walking, especially in order to work with cryptocurrency, you need certain knowledge and practice. In El Salvador, this was done too quickly, without sufficient preparation and the creation of the necessary conditions. In addition, the people do not like to be forced to do something without choosing alternative actions. A failed attempt to introduce bitcoin will make other states unlikely to want to experiment in this way.
In my opinion, a decentralized cryptocurrency should only walk in society along with the national money of states. The people should always have the right to choose.
407  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia's withdrawal from the "grain agreement". Hunger or World War III? on: July 18, 2023, 06:51:20 PM
And why did Russia withdraw from the "grain agreement", which somehow worked for exactly a year? Putin, in exchange for its extension, demanded to reconnect Rosselkhozbank to SWIFT, resume supplies of agricultural machinery, spare parts and services, lift restrictions on insurance and reinsurance, lift the ban on access to European ports, resume the operation of the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline, unblock foreign assets and accounts of Russian companies associated with the production and transportation of food and fertilizers. But what about the sanctions that are useful for Russia, or do they bite a lot?
Russia has suspended participation in the grain deal, because for the whole year not a single condition on which this deal was concluded was fulfilled. In fact, the European Union sabotaged the grain deal for a whole year, so it is not surprising that Russia suspended it, but that Russia previously extended it several times, despite this sabotage.

This is a deal, not a charity. When the conditions of Russia are met, then the grain deal can be resumed, but not before.

Let's then consider the question of what this "grain deal" is and what it was for. Having attacked the sovereign state of Ukraine, Russia, using its Black Sea Fleet, began to block and destroy not only any Ukrainian ships, but also civilian ships that arrived at Ukrainian seaports or left them. That is, Russia arbitrarily organized an economic and naval blockade of Ukraine, simultaneously causing huge economic damage to other states. Hence the question: are such actions of Russia lawful at all and does this not resemble ordinary piracy that comes from the Russian state itself? And the second question: should the state of Ukraine obtain permission from another state - Russia to supply its argo products to other countries?

Now, what kind of "grain agreement" is this and between whom was it concluded? Ukraine has concluded an agreement with Turkey and the UN on the conditions for the safe supply of its argo products by sea to the world market for sale. Russia has also concluded a similar agreement with Turkey and the UN. No direct agreements between Russia and Ukraine on the "grain agreement" was not concluded. The question is: is Ukraine to blame for the failure to comply with any conditions of the "grain agreement" with Russia, if it did not conclude any agreement with Russia? Since the answer is obvious, then the next question is: why then Russia began inflicting more severe missile attacks on the seaports of Ukraine after Russia withdrew from this agreement?Russia calls the damage yesterday to the Kerch bridge, which was illegally built by Russia to the occupied Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea, a terrorist attack. shelling with all types of weapons throughout the territory of Ukraine, in which the actual objects were civilian infrastructure?

After answering these questions, we will move on to more specific questions about the essence of the "grain agreement".
408  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia's withdrawal from the "grain agreement". Hunger or World War III? on: July 18, 2023, 03:29:32 PM

I think there will be no hunger, no third world war, and there will not even be sunk ships. It’s just that Russia will destroy the infrastructure in Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea with missile strikes (it has already begun to do this) and Ukraine will lose at least $ 500 million a month in budget revenues from the sale of grain, which will have to be compensated from its own pocket by Western sponsors.

Do you mean today's Russian night attack on the southern regions of Ukraine using Caliber missiles and Iranian drones? Yes, six Kalibr missiles were launched from the Black Sea towards Odessa tonight, all of them were destroyed by the Ukrainian air defense forces. In addition, the south of Ukraine was also attacked by several waves of Iranian Shahed-136 drones. On approach from the sea in the Odessa region, 21 Iranian drones were destroyed and four more in the sky over the Nikolaev region.

Unfortunately, fragments of downed rockets and the blast wave damaged port infrastructure facilities and several private households. It is also reported that in Nikolaev a hit on an industrial facility was recorded, which caused a fire. However, the fire was quickly put out and there were no casualties.

Source: https://focus.ua/voennye-novosti/579544-nochnaya-ataka-shahed-i-kalibrami-vzryvy-progremeli-na-yuge-ukrainy-foto

Russia is a terrorist country, and so almost daily attacks the territory of Ukraine with missiles and drones. Therefore, in fact, nothing changes in this regard.

409  Other / Politics & Society / Russia's withdrawal from the "grain agreement". Hunger or World War III? on: July 18, 2023, 11:56:01 AM
On July 17, 2023, Russia withdrew from the “grain agreement” and officially notified Turkey and Ukraine, as well as the UN secretariat, of its objection to the extension of the “grain deal” for the export of grain and other agricultural products from Ukrainian ports to the world market. In addition, Russia withdrew security guarantees for the grain corridor. In other words, Russia says it can sink civilian ships flying any flag as long as they take grain out of Ukraine. The sinking of civilian ships with non-military cargo in neutral waters can be considered piracy.

In connection with these actions of Russia, a very tense situation is developing in a number of countries, and above all in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Due to the sabotage by the Russian Federation of the work of the "grain corridor" in recent months, the world has not received an additional 25 million tons of agricultural products from Ukraine anyway. In total, during the year of this agreement, 1,002 vessels left Ukrainian ports. According to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, since the start of the "grain agreement" more than 33 million tons of products of Ukrainian farmers have been exported to 45 countries of the world.
In many countries, even taking into account the work of the "grain agreement", grain and other agricultural products have risen in price greatly. If Russia now interferes with the export of grain under this agreement, the population of many developing countries will face starvation.

The situation is interesting because Turkey and China, which are regarded in Russia as some kind of economic allies, are interested in extending the "grain agreement". One way out of this food crisis is to escort ships from Ukrainian ports by warships from Turkey or China. Is Putin ready to continue to increase the stakes and fight virtually with the whole world?
410  Economy / Economics / Re: The world continues dumping US dollar (Gold, New World Order, World War III) on: July 17, 2023, 06:59:34 PM
The threat of an economic crisis in the future is of course very worrying, a war in the market will certainly make the political situation continue to escalate, now we can see that many countries are looking for friends who are certainly in line with expectations and have the same vision to protect their interests.
On July 17, 2023, Russia officially abandoned the "grain agreement" and officially notified Turkey and Ukraine, as well as the UN secretariat, of its objection to the extension of the "grain deal" for the removal of grain and other agricultural products from the ports of Ukraine for export. In addition, Russia withdrew security guarantees for the grain corridor. In other words, Russia says it can sink civilian ships flying any flag if they take grain out of Ukraine. Sinking civilian ships with non-military goods in neutral waters can be regarded as piracy.

What then will Russia do if, for example, Turkey organizes an escort and escorts these civilian vessels? Will it also shoot at the warships of Turkey, which is a member of NATO? And if such convoys are organized by the UN or at least NATO countries? Will Russia, already very weakened by the war, go into conflict with NATO members, thereby unleashing an even bigger war than in Ukraine? After all, then it will already look like the Third World War.
411  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of Russian and Ukrain war on world economy on: July 17, 2023, 04:54:55 AM

You have to understand one thing: even if ruble goes down to zero, the war WILL NOT STOP. Russia is a self-sufficient country, Putin is paying his tank factory workers in rubles. People in Russia are buying groceries in rubles. They are paying for utilities in rubles. Sanctions can't stop the war and can't overthrow Putin.
In my opinion, there is nothing to brag about in this situation. According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia has already lost more than 237,000 of its soldiers in Ukraine, who, with weapons in their hands, came to conquer the neighboring state and kill Ukrainians. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, which is reported to Putin weekly, irretrievable losses have already exceeded 300,000. If we take into account the generally accepted statistics that there are usually three times more wounded than those killed, then Russia has already lost more than a million of its soldiers in Ukraine. And this is for the sake of the imperial ambitions of Putin, who in the 21st century decided to prove himself a great conqueror of neighboring states?

But if the Russians have not yet completely drunk their brains away, then sooner or later the instinct of self-preservation must turn on. Under pain of criminal liability, they are now forbidden to ask direct and uncomfortable questions to their rulers about this war. This allegedly discredits their army. But the obvious military defeat in Ukraine is sobering for many, and the recent riot of the Wagnerites is only the first bell in this direction. Putin's throne is already wobbly.
412  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of Russian and Ukrain war on world economy on: July 15, 2023, 07:09:57 AM
Indeed, the impact of the war between Russia and Ukraine which has been going on for almost 1 year has had a major impact on the world economy. Many countries in Europe have experienced food shortages as a result of Russia banning exports, especially since oil prices have soared. If the war is not finished soon, it is very likely that almost the entire world will experience an economic downturn.
The war of Russia against Ukraine has been going on for the 507th day, that is, next month it will be a year and a half since Putin ordered the Russian army to attack Ukraine with all its forces from the east and south, as well as from the territory of Belarus from the north. For many Ukrainians, every day spent under shelling and bombing of the entire territory of Ukraine is of great importance.
The biggest and bloodiest war in Europe since the Second World War, unleashed by the Putin regime in Russia, continues. Every day, tens of thousands of mines and shells explode on the territory of Ukraine. Of course, this cannot but affect soil pollution and environmental degradation in the region. Polluted rains with heavy metals will fall both in Russia and in Europe, and maybe even further. Therefore, the economic situation in the world will worsen.
413  Economy / Economics / Re: The economic effect of people flying from RF mandatory conscription on: July 14, 2023, 04:08:20 PM
That's right, military service indeed makes the economy disturbed, a person who is supposed to work and get a daily wage must lose the wage, I think that military service must be immediately eliminated because I think the impact is also not significant.
Universal conscription should be in all countries. Another thing is where and how it should take place and how long it will last. You cannot fully rely on a contract professional army alone.
In history, idiots like Putin often appear in Russia, who suddenly find themselves calling to conquer a neighboring state. What will happen if the professional army is defeated, and the rest of the men of the state that was attacked never held a weapon in their hands? Then the fall of such a state would be absolutely logical. No, all men of military age should always be ready to defend their country.
414  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank of Russia to Pilot CBDC in April on: July 14, 2023, 07:02:38 AM
Instead of making up some digital ruble crap they could just embrace Bitcoin instead. There is no real way to filter out all tx made by the Russians and stop/ban them. They could just keep their profit gained by selling fossil fuels in Bitcoin, without withdrawing or converting it to rubles or any other currency. Operating like this, it would be pretty impossible to trace and stop these transactions.
Precisely because bitcoin cannot be tracked and stopped transactions, Russia as a state will never accept it as legal tender on its territory. In any case, this will not happen in the near future. Now the Russian government is coming to the fore to prevent the flight of capital abroad, which is now happening massively due to the failed war in Ukraine. And the introduction of bitcoin or another decentralized cryptocurrency will contribute to the uncontrolled outflow of money abroad. But this is for citizens. No laws are written for the government itself in Russia. Therefore, at the government level, bitcoin can be used, but this will be classified information to the public.
415  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of Russian and Ukrain war on world economy on: July 13, 2023, 05:00:54 AM
I'm sorry everyone, but I don't find it very accurate to evaluate wars from an economic point of view. Thousands of children have died due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Syria and other parts of the world. Now we have to talk about keeping children alive. However, if I have to talk about the economic instability caused by the war, I think the biggest problem was observed in agricultural products. As agriculture in Ukraine came to a standstill due to the war, many parts of the world suffered from wheat-induced famine.

It is striking that when you describe the situation about the death of children in Ukraine, you do not indicate the real cause of their death and their perpetrators, but call what is happening a "conflict in Ukraine." The Russian army is attacking Ukraine with all its military might, trying to seize its territory. The length of active hostilities is more than 1,200 kilometers of the front, where tens of thousands of mines and shells explode every day. More than 90 percent of the entire Russian army is now on the territory of Ukraine, and it is Russian soldiers who are now killing civilians in Ukraine, including children, women and the elderly.

The Russians are also openly robbing Ukraine and its population, taking stolen grain and other agricultural products, as well as medical equipment from hospitals and absolutely everything that can be stolen and of any value into their territory. Well, what can you do, Russia is a nation of thieves, murderers and rapists. Therefore, in a civilized world, they should be feared.

Ukraine does not have conflicts with Russia, it is protected from attacks on its territory.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are about to enter altcoin season, what do you think? on: July 12, 2023, 02:05:24 PM
I just have a rough guess that the altcoin season gonna be in 2024. because right this year too much thing are gonna be preventing the altcoin season from surfacing because something like lawsuits and many more.
overall its just not really a good time for altcoin season to appear because if even it is appearing it would gets hold back by these problems.

Maybe you are speculating about the halving and there's really a high chance that we might experience that especially when bitcoin have a good run at that season. For sure altcoins prices will be  brought up to knowing that it always paired up with BTC when we talk about trading it.

Also I don't think the issue about lawsuit on exchange and altcoin can affect those possible bull run that might happen since most provably people will forgot about that issues and focus to accumulate since halving hype is much stronger than any other issues.
It is unlikely that the altcoin season should be expected earlier than the middle or end of this autumn. The second half of the summer has almost never been characterized by a good price growth of the cryptocurrency market. As for the price of altcoins next year, 2024, the probability of altcoin season is much higher here. However, it should be noted that after the Bitcoin halving in 2024, it begins to rise sharply in price within six to ten months after this event, and the altcoin season begins after Bitcoin reaches a certain price rise. That is, if you count on the price effect of the Bitcoin halving, then the altcoin season will not be soon.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What role have altcoins played in cryptocurrency industry on: July 12, 2023, 01:48:53 PM
Have alternatives cryptocurrencies help the growth and adoption of cryptocurrency in the global market and how far have the presence of alternatives cryptocurrency help the industry positively?
Or Negatively?

Altcoins have impacted the cryptocurrencies market in a positive and negative way. Some positive way are, without Ethereum and its own blockchain we won't have had the various decentralized application we have in the market from exchange to wallets and different application that are decentralized.
Without Ethereum we won't have defi, metaverse and ico that help people by giving them opportunity to invest in early projects that gave them big profits. Altcoins give people profits and also losses. Altcoins made many scammers to get away with their scams and that cause people to have problem trusting the market.
Other projects has contribution to the growth of the industry but everything started from Ethereum and it'll still continue that way because they keep improving on the blockchain to adapt to the new waves coming into the market like migrating from POW to POS and now they'll have lesser fees that'll attract developers.
Indeed, altcoins have made a significant contribution to the development of useful properties, services and conveniences in the cryptocurrency market. Without altcoins, this market would be much poorer and less attractive. But on the other hand, it was thanks to the emergence of altcoins that there were massive cases of fraud in this market, as well as useless and openly fraudulent projects. However, the market itself will eventually remove everything useless from it. Therefore, in general, altcoins play a very positive role in the development of cryptocurrency and increase its liquidity.
418  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture can save your country from recession on: July 11, 2023, 04:48:13 AM
Countries that are good in agriculture have made good progress in the economy. More countries have begun to concentrate on agriculture. Even the corporate networks have begun to focus on agriculture. Microsoft have bought agricultural lands considering the future. These corporate firms were more futuristic, which means they have well understood the future and working on it.

The worst happening with agriculture is the lack of importance given. Most of the time third parties eat the profit. Governments need to make arrangements, because people find it hard and don't enjoy the good out of their efforts.

The development of agriculture in any country should be encouraged by the state. However, it may not develop successfully in all countries. It depends largely on the climate, and on the fertility of the soil, its condition, and, more recently, on climate change in a particular region. But in any case, the government should take stimulating measures for it to develop. After all, according to forecasts, in the future with food, humanity may have problems.
419  Economy / Economics / Re: Eu Cina vs USA russia oil vs Green energy on: July 10, 2023, 05:00:40 AM
In my opinion, even China will not be able to capture all of Russia.

First, the Chinese army has no combat experience.  In practice, the Chinese army may prove to be an ineffective structure (even taking into account its large numbers).

At one time (until February 24, 2024), I listened to Strelkov-Girkin's arguments about how he planned to annex the territory of Ukraine to Russia.  And I understood from his words that in order to manage and control such a large territory, a lot of people are needed - soldiers, policemen, etc.

And this is subject to the complete destruction of the regular army.

And in order to capture and control such a vast territory as Russia, such a huge army of security forces is needed, which even China does not have.

By the way, this is one of the reasons why foreign intervention against the young Russian Republic at the beginning of the 20th century failed.
It is hardly worth agreeing with your opinion. Almost the entire combat-ready army of Russia perished on the territory of Ukraine. That is, the military experience of the Russians was very short-term. In Russia, they continue to mobilize those who do not have combat experience into the army, and they are almost immediately thrown into the assault on the fortified positions of the Ukrainians, where they die ingloriously. Now the opinion is being expressed that two or three brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine may well be on Moscow and capture it. After all, there are no longer any significant military formations in Russia itself. That is why the Kremlin is now demanding a truce through the mouths of Lukashenka, Orban and other assistants.
China, with its population of almost one and a half billion people, can easily capture the whole of Russia without any problems. But China has the opportunity to do this not by military means, but by purely economic means. Apparently, the bet is already being made on this option.

Honestly, I don't know what you're saying. Do you have any proof for what you say? or just because you're on the side of the Ukrainian army, you spread baseless bullshit. I don't live in Russia, but as far as I know, Russia is dominating Ukraine. Another thing is Russia is the biggest nuclear power in the world, and China or any other country that intends to attack Russia is the stupidest thing they will do. And why should they go to war when China is reaping so many benefits from doing business with Russia?
Real confirmation of the fact that there are very few combat-ready troops left in Russia itself, because almost all of them are at war in Ukraine, are raids on the border regions of Russia by the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDC) and the Svoboda Legion, which almost unhindered captured a number of border with Ukraine Russian settlements. In addition, the "campaign of justice" of the Wagnerites against Moscow on June 23-24 also showed this. They left the territory of Ukraine, passed Rostov, Voronezh, and other regions of Russia, destroyed seven helicopters and one aircraft of the Russian Air Force along the way, and turned back 200 kilometers from Moscow. At this time, near Moscow, they began to hastily collect barrage detachments from the remnants of the police and military, who were on vacation. If desired, the Wagnerites, led by Prigogine, could well then seize Moscow and arrange a military coup in Russia.
420  Economy / Economics / Re: New currency from BRICS countries on: July 10, 2023, 04:29:22 AM
Couple of hours ago there is in news on Twitter saying BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) are developing a new currency. It was mentioned by State Duma Deputy Chairmen btw.

As I can see all these things to manipulate BTC right? What are your thoughts about this?
I don't think so this will happen, BRICS isn't that big and that United organization that it can create it's own currency. Especially India and China Don't have those sweet relationships as well. Also even if for a second imagine it's true, this will not be because they want to manipulate bitcoin, it'll be because they want to counter the dominance of dollar and Euro in the world. So i don't think this is effecting bitcoin.

Talk about the new currency of the BRICS countries exists only at the level of the conversations themselves and no more. Although the Russian embassy in Kenya said "the BRICS countries are planning to introduce a new trading currency that will be backed by gold", the New Development Bank, a financial institution created by the BRICS bloc, said in an official statement that it does not have any immediate plans to create a single currencies.

Instead, BRICS members Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa are pushing for more bilateral trade in local currencies. They are not ready to challenge the global dominance of the dollar.

Developing something alternative is more of a medium-to-long-term ambition," Leslie Maasdorp, vice president and chief financial officer of the New Development Bank, told Bloomberg. "There are currently no proposals to create a BRICS currency."

Before the virtual BRICS summit, Indian Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar stated that "there is no idea of a BRICS currency". "Currencies will remain a national issue for a long time to come," Jaishankar added.
