Anyone remember Mike Tyson's words when he put those bitcoin atms out in 2015 when btc price was in the dumps? "this is the future."
Mike fuckin A Tyson, the greatest fighter of all times, called it.
Go ahead and sell.
204  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculators - at what price will you sell? on: August 15, 2017, 01:13:31 AM
I do not think the price will reach 5k this friday. I am selling at 4300 because it is already a good profit for me and I think that is the resistance at this point.I will keep on buying and selling at 4300 top and 4000 bottom until the price breaks the 4.3K resistance level.

How's that sell feeling?
205  Economy / Speculation / At least he admits he's a dinasaur on: August 15, 2017, 12:12:17 AM
https://www.cnbc.com/2017/08/10/howard-marks-i-dont-understand-whats-behind-bitcoin.html?recirc=taboolainternal

This is why bitcoin will become worth a million each. The current rich just don't get it - they literally can't grasp it no matter how hard they try. And that will be their downfall.

Great! when you wake up and it's $4500 and buy back in with a loss don't say I didn't warn you. Actually you should already know because that's just how this market is going right now.
207  Economy / Speculation / Re: The biggest bitcoin crash ever has begun. on: August 14, 2017, 10:58:44 PM
Substitute the word "crash" with "pump" and I think it's more accurate - it's begun.
Fuck you kwukduck, or fonzie, or whoever the fuck you are spreading a bunch of nonsense that has thrown a cloud of doubt over the greatest investment in human history.
Fuck you indeed.

Ring Them Bells.  Cool
The Times They Are a-Changin' Grin

Too bad I did not sell my house for BTC when I bough in back a year ago!    Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

Most of us are regretting, life is too short and money isn't life so knock that shit off.
209  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I invest On BITCOIN right Now or Later on: August 14, 2017, 09:11:30 PM
I remember thinking the people who bought at $1100 3 years ago were idiots. I remember thinking the people who bought at $300 right before it crashed back to low $200s were idiots. I remember thinking the people who bought in the $400s after pumping from the $200s were idiots when it dumped back to below $300s.
None of those times I had the nerve to buy more, now who was the idiot?
At some point you just have to say wtf who cares if it crashes after I buy it, because most likely if you don't now you won't later because you will feel it can always go lower and hype is gone etc etc and you will not buy any. If buying on a pump gets you to just buy some for the first time in your life, then do it and don't worry if it crashes.
210  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just about 20 million. Wait and watch it REALLY explode... on: August 14, 2017, 06:44:18 PM
Most realize the crypto mkt cap will hit a trillion usd someday, and it's not going to take a decade to do it. With btc taking a conservative half of that, the current price is about 10% of where it's most likely heading.
I ask again, what if no correction is incoming? the genie is out of the bottle, and this is just the start on the road to $40k/btc? that figure the twins forecast would be happening with btc years ago?

I don't think anything is that easy myself. There are still plenty of things to iron out.

A pretty much unsullied run to those price levels is conceivable, but all it takes in the tens of thousands is for a few people to think 'hang on, what am I paying for here?' and then a few others join them and before we know it we're back to peanuts again.

At this moment in time it needs more than greater fools. There should be more reasons to justify why the sellers are fools.

You could argue it's been seriously undervalued for ages and that might make sense. You can also say the exact opposite and convince just as many people. There's no way knowing and the truth doesn't really matter, only the sentiment.

I suppose the best reason is that fiat is inflationary and bitcoin is deflationary. So unless you need the money for bills or have found a better looking investment, why sell? If the reason is to hopefully buy back on a dump and increase your btc, glwt this isn't working these days, you only end up losing btc when the next leg up starts.
211  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just about 20 million. Wait and watch it REALLY explode... on: August 14, 2017, 06:26:51 PM
I reckon there's far, far more than a million inaccessible coins. And there are quite a few people with tens of thousands of coins and more.

Combine the two and there may only be a few million that will ever come anywhere near a marketplace. I wonder whether that'll actually be regarded as a detriment if it really goes bonkers.

This bull market has been going on for almost 2 years now, how many times have shorters had their guts stomped out? too many to count.
What if crypto is finally been seen as having value for it's utility rather than just a tool for gambling? What if people see the next halving is only a couple years away and realize it's a sure bet the price will only go up then from where it's at now? What if there is no major correction coming?
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the market correction coming? on: August 14, 2017, 05:36:56 PM
I never should have bought Alts. I'm down many bitcoins now. I would have been way ahead just leaving it all in bitcoin. Alts getting slaughtered vs bitcoin ;(
That’s so sad you replaced bitcoins with altcoins. Bitcoins are the most cherished digital currency so it was so absurd to give up on bitcoins just for little altcoins. They are just kids as compared to bitcoins. Now just keep an eye on bitcoins to buy them again at cheap rate and next time try to be very careful and smart with your bitcoins.

Buying alts is the best way to make more bitcoins, othwise you have to buy them with real money. It's worked countless times before so you can't blame him for trying.
Wouldn't it be nice to buy something with 10 btc and have it worth 1000 btc a year or 2 later? this has occured dozens of times in the last 5 years.
214  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just about 20 million. Wait and watch it REALLY explode... on: August 14, 2017, 05:13:47 PM
Jesus you guys are completely delusional. I've never seen this kind of mass delusion before.
Even if hundreds of millions of people are interested in Bitcoin, which is extremely unlikely all on its own, the price will not go extreme as they will USE Bitcoin for what it was intended instead of mass HODL like the delusional bunch here.

Most buying are not going to spend it. If you owned something you believed could go up in value exponentially would you use it for daily expenses?
Of course not.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: August 14, 2017, 02:48:38 PM
If btc is 2x more expensive than during the tezos ico price, will some buyers be trying to get out so they can dump for fiat perhaps? or will they see tezos as a way to make more btc and be more inclined to stay in?
Very curious how this will be received on the exchanges.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Aug 1 summary on: August 08, 2017, 05:33:37 PM
After the hardfork Bitcoin's price soars to new all time highs.

And bitcoin cash crushes eth like a bug.
217  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just going to $100,000 now? on: August 08, 2017, 03:16:16 PM
Perhaps in 2020

That year is a perfect date for the market to break through the $10,000 level for the first ever time, just before the block halving kicks in.

2018 $5000/$6000
2019 $7000/$8000
2020 $9000/$10,000

Currently the 10% regular fluctuations are worth around $300. Imagine how it will be when coins change owner above the $10,000 level! Fluctuations of $1000 will be a common thing by that time, while just a few years ago, the unit price was sitting well below the $300 level. I just don't understand why people keep focusing on insane price levels, while we aren't even close to $10,000 yet. Slower growth is always more sustainable than growth that we realize in a very short time. The market needs to be ready for it, and clearly, it will take plenty of years to come even close.

Bitcoin hasn't ever worked like that. It is more like:
2017 $8000/$10,000
2018 $1000/$$3000
2019 see 2018
2020 $35,000/$40,000

I suppose it's possible all past trends are broken since bitcoin has become more stable, we'll see.
218  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just going to $100,000 now? on: August 08, 2017, 02:48:25 PM
This is crazy, its rly pure speculation, bc everyone prefers Euro/Dollar over Bitcoin for paying bc u can pay everything with it and just a few stuff with Bitcoin.
I am not long into Bitcoin now, but i now understand that it is just pure speculation, bc everyone wants to get rich with Bitcoin.
They saw the last year Trends, and hope its going on 100% 1000% 10000% to get rich.
And aslong as peopel hope to get rich they invest and invest....always new peopels will invest, but its rly dangerous.
The question is will the wannabe rich fools overwhelm the already rich peopels when they cashout.

The rly only reason why 99% of peopels buy Bitcoin is speculation ( the dream to be rich), but dont forgett the whales can cash u out everytime they want, they can pump and dumb u easy ( they win u lose).

U all are talking about, Bitcoin is so cool bc no Banks.... no goverment bc they are so evil........ but u dont understand that Banks are still saver then Bitcoin, Dollar and/euro cant drop 1000% but Bitcoin can, and the Bitcoin whales can pump dumb whenever they want( and they earn more and more Bitcoin with it).
Reculations are good, or u rly like the pump and dumb Groups, the market Manipulation and scams, all that runs out of the row.

And bc Bitcoin has max 21million coins, u ever thought about that someday only a few whales own 90% of them?
When a few rich guys own 90% of them u know what they do with u ya? They cash u out whenever they want wherever they want, as Long as u dream about being rich.

Bitcoin is just a chain of peopels who want to get rich, and the peopels at the end of the chain will lose everything they put into Bitcoin.

First, whales can't "cash you out" unless you panic dump for losses.

Second, what if the people at the end of the chain are the laggard end users when 1 bitcoin = over 1 million usd? what makes you think bitcoin will reach some amount only to crash and burn forever? give me one solid piece of evidence in the price charts that would indicate this would happen.

Not everyone is a winner though. I am sure there are many who lost their asses buying at highs and panic dumping in the lows, losing 50%-90% of the money they initially spent. There are many who lost their asses sending and buying to/from mt gox.

You have winners and losers from day one till now and this will continue for many years. It is the buyers choices that dictate which he will become, it is not up to anyone else.
219  Economy / Speculation / Re: how much is the potential value of bitcoin by the year 2021? on: August 08, 2017, 05:05:00 AM
In my opinion the potential value of bitcoin by the year 2021 will not reach to $100,000...that's 4years from now...to be able to reach that amount maybe almost majority of the population should be using bitcoin including kids and elders...to be more realistic I think the value of bitcoin possibly reach $5000 well of course nobody knows..bitcoin is so unpredictable

There are officially approximately 33 million millionaires in the world, a lot more are uncounted. You know what that means? it's not possible for even half of the current world's millionaires to each own 1 bitcoin.
Don't fucking tell me $100k/bitcoin is not realistic.
220  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another Fun Poll for BTC vs BCC on: August 07, 2017, 10:44:48 PM
I'm holding both. Who is buying? most likely somebody a fuck of a lot richer than you, and he ain't in this to take a loss.
