The first 2 days of ico waves raised like $4m, over 2x what Lisk did it's first week. These 2 days occurred well before Lisk hit the market, so the argument that Waves raised so much because of Lisk missers is completely invalid. I predict Waves does very well long term, but it's not going to be a pump from the start like Lisk - holders will earn their profit with patience. Over 1% of the coin was given away, so combined with the btc increase I think the first days are going to be rough.

You do get that, right?? Even at $20K+/btc, people like you and me will still need to be buying and using bitcoin every single day. That is the whole point. It is not a 'one time and done' thing. Buying on coinbase when it's not an instant purchase is a really risky thing to do after a big move up. Not only will you not see your coins for a week, the stress will gnaw at you - I know because I've done it and the wait sucks.

Yes of course, the bounties are going to get dumped really quickly. But you could even look at that positively. It's a chance to get more Waves for cheap if you didn't participate in ICO or aren't pleased with your current amount.  i have about 185k of waves but i wont dumb. i think i will buy more when the price is at ico prices with bonus. thats why i asked about the price and your thoughts about it. Waves is not trying to become the next bitcoin. If that is what you are looking for check out other cash blockchain currencies ie: Vcash, Dash, Litecoin ets. each of these have tried to improve on the Bitcoin platform with some success. Waves is an investment into early liquidity of two things, fiat transfer between currencies, and a platform for crowdfunding though multiple currencies. if it succeeds it taps into something unfound in blockchain currencies, but if you all sell and drop the liquidity to low, you can kiss your investment goodbye. Investors thinking of waves as another altcoin bitcoin runner up will be sorely disappointed. Investors who keep liquidity high while helping invest in crowdfund projects that are supported by waves will see their ivetment flourish. or Its all a scam, this is never going to happen, sell at the first push. im going to work on the second and hope my measly small few BTC change the way we look at Blockchains.
