Its almost at 5000 cny. once it crosses that mark then it'll be smooth sailing until the ATH of 8000 cny.

Is a wallet merely a collection of private/public key pairs that can be used to send/receive Bitcoins?

Mostly this. Rest is ease of use (compared to working with a command line.)

You answered your own question. Seems like you know more then you let on.

82 btc's in the books now and over 14 days left before the sale is completed. If it keeps going at this rate it will be a 1000+ btc ico and a huge bankroll for let it ride.

89BTC now.

It'll be 400+ in a week then 1000+ by the end. People just keep placing orders and putting my orders into red status tho and its starting to get under my skin.
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I never made any profits in dice game.. whats is your opinion on: June 16, 2016, 04:13:40 AM
Maybe you should stop gambling. If you just lose money with it, it's time to stop playing. Gamblers must be responsable to know when to stop the game and to set X max amount to bet. If you get carried away by the moment emotion, you will lose all your progress in game very fast.

Maybe he's rich and doesn't care if he keeps losing. Some gamblers I know don't win very often but they have lots of money so its mostly like just playing an adult game to them. I'm sure it hurts when they lose but they have fun losing and have money so who are we to tall them to stop gambling.

I love the ticker personally. Why don't you like it?
209  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: I urgently need 0.5btc loan for my business on: June 16, 2016, 01:56:26 AM
I believe that with the borrower's adsense account being suspended and Bitcoin's price increasing, the idea of defaulting became more attractive to him.
Anybody in default trust who can do the honours of marking negative trust?

What would make an adsesce account to be suspended?

Violation of site policies. I think faucets get more traffic and therefore higher payments from adsense, but paying surfers is against their policies.

Hi Dennis,

I've checked with our Policy experts and it looks like ad serving was disabled for violating our program policies. As stated in our program policies, AdSense publishers are not permitted to place Google ads on sites with content related to programs offering incentives to click links or ads, read emails, or surf other websites. This would include, for instance, auto-surf sites, pay-to-read email networks, and sites comparing various pay-to-click programs.

But why would they even care. As long as you are getting traffic and clicks the adsense people should love you. I've never done adsene before. What are some other reasons they may ban someone, and if they ban you do they hold all the money that was supposed to come your way?

gentlemen
this is peanuts and you know it.
we are headed for 32,000$ and there can be no stopping us
after that we WILL conquer the world.

nah, not interested in 32,000$. seriously, 3000-4000$ is all asked for.

Im interested in 32k. Why would you focus on 3k when you can focus on 32k.

How much dickcoin for every giveaway?
and how to join the giveaway?

Full details for the weekly contest will be revealed at launch. Hang on to yer dicks!

As for what we're looking for, it's briefly detailed in the OP. Let me be clear, we're not looking to raise an army of pitchforks, we're recruiting some Tier 1's for a surgical strike at the heart of the anti-men's movement. Sharpen your scalpels boys.

I'm so down with this.

And it's nice to see an X-11 coin for the summer months, respect to all the GPU miners out there. and ETH is a pain in the ass because I can't use my computer while it's mining.

Buy a dedicated miner. That's my opinion and with that its time for sleep.
Goodnight.
214  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What are confirms so slow the last few days. on: June 15, 2016, 08:41:46 AM
Bitcoin core confirmations are taking forever because: miners are switching to altcoin, huge volume of BTC due to big ICO at the moment.

And if you use a third party service to push a transaction will be worse

More BS.

Yep, already added him to my ignore list.

Some of my orders are in the red Angry Sure hope this does not become a habit but I'll move them up now.

As you moved them up others in the red became black. Next time wait for others to move it up. Its a tricky game but if you play it correctly you stand to gain a lot.

I am experiencing this too despite using the recommended dynamic fees set my MyCelium. My transaction is still unconfirmed after two hours.

someone is flooding the network with spam transactions

http://www.bitcoinqueue.com/2d.html

blocks are full .. transaction malleability exploit attack.

Let's just hope that this attack will end soon.
Also experiencing pretty slow confirmation times here.  Actually had an Economy fee mycelium transaction process faster than a normal fee one.

Is there a way to stop a spam transaction from going through?
Bitcoin Core does have a policy to reject certain transactions that doesn't meet some criteria (eg. Minimum relay fee, minimum output). If the any of the criteria is not met, the node would refuse to reject it. Miners on their part can also choose to accept certain transactions. It doesn't prevent spam attack but it does increase the cost of large scale attacks.

I'm understanding a bit more now. But this can not continue to happen if bitcoin grows and adds new users. Who wants to wait so long to get confirmations.
Is there a plan in motion to curb this from happening in the future or is this just one of the drawbacks to bitcoin.
Confirmations isn't necessary, one does not wait months at the store to avoid chargebacks anyways. I would say that Segwit can help with this.

Segwit?
