201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How often do you check CoinMarketCap website? on: September 24, 2018, 09:20:22 PM
I check it only to look up special coins or to see markets overall performance. CoinMarketcap is not so important for me because I reject trading, I like to hodl because it's more easy and time saving.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Sell bounty token at a loss? on: September 24, 2018, 09:08:07 PM
If you have free Bounty tokens, would you sell at a loss? It can have advantages or disadvantages to sell at a loss: to avoid more loss but also to realises losses.

Personally I would wait for a better overall crypto market and sell later, because it's a bear market right now. If price rises again you can make a better profit and get more money back per coin if you wait and sell later. Market recovery will be positive to many good projects.

What's your strategy to make most profits now?
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Strategy: holding but trading on: September 24, 2018, 09:03:25 PM
Holding is personally my better investment advice beacause it's not very time consuming and much easier. You can store your coins safe and sell them later at a win.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: everything will be ok. trust in crypto. on: September 24, 2018, 09:00:25 PM
I hope so, you are right OP. Crypto market is very difficult to predict but it seems to be better now and finally we can see a light uptrend. It's important to be patient now and not sell at a loss.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: September 24, 2018, 08:58:18 PM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.
There are many Shitcoins and I think there are only a few good ones, but if you can pick them you'll make a good profit. ETH and EOS are good ones, maybe the will bring some good profit. I hope so, good luck!
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you invest in ripple ? on: September 23, 2018, 11:43:59 PM
I don't think Ripple is a good coin, it's very fishy and the devs are keeping most Ripples. I prefer many different coins, but Ripple is no option for me, I don't support this. We have many more good coins we can make a good ROI.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Favorite Altcoin. on: September 23, 2018, 11:40:45 PM
EOS is a very interesting one. I has quite many functions and can offer some basic issues. It's still developing but really fast and we can see an engaged succes.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WOW, XRP is pumping so fast! What do you think about it?? on: September 23, 2018, 11:25:20 PM
XRP has increased more than 2x in this week? Anyone know which is the main reason for XRP Case? Any big new was release or just a FOMO?
XRP is a strongly shilled shitcoin, and I think this is a very bad thing for entire crypto space. Following blindly and do not ask questions about the technology behind. I hope this will not affect Bitcoin.
209  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginner's Guide - How to invest in ICO on: September 23, 2018, 10:51:33 PM
mate, the best beginner guide for newbies to invest in ICO - do research by yourself, don`t invest for the first month, first time better just do predictions
I can agree to a deep research, this is always very helpful and necessary. But I don't understand why do predictions?

Main advantage is that you can send a transaction any time you want and no one can stop you from doing this.
Yes, it's "be your own bank". You can send money anytime you want without a cetralized party you depend on. This is maybe the main advantage of Bitcoin, it can't be easily abused like some banks want to do it and by doing so, Bitcoin creates trust.

215  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Worst thing to be happen after KYC gone to wrong hand.? on: September 18, 2018, 01:16:32 AM
KYC is a very critical issue, I have to agree here. If an ICO that required KYC turns out to be a blatant scam you have lost your money and even worse, your personal data. After this everything can happen to your personal data. The scammer can use it to sell it in the dark web and the receiver will use this for shady things, like faking passports, regintering on an crypto exchange or something else.
If you have bad luck you can be accused for terrorism, money laundering or who knows...

I recomment to stay away from every shady KYC ICO because it's possible the scammers collect your money AND your personal data. Unfortunately there are many ICO / Bounty participants still underestimating the disadvantages of KYC for investors. KYC ist totally garbage and against Bitcoins vision - anonymity.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is etherium good for long term on: September 15, 2018, 07:48:22 PM
Can i trust on etherium project
I want to hold it for long term 5-10 years
Can i use hardware wallet (ledger or trezor)?
Yes, ETH project is a very good one and I think it will be successful or like you see it, it is already. But the price is right now very undervalued.

You can store ETH in many wallets, because it's accepted largely.
217  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: I'll rank up sooner! on: September 15, 2018, 07:43:39 PM
Yes, indeed, there are very helpful posts which deserve Merits and personally, I think the ones about scam are very outstanding! We need to get rid of the scam projects, mention them and such warnings to help new participants is a very useful service for all of us and especially newbies. Often they are uninformed or don't know how to do a good research.

Helping them to show how to review if a project is legit or scam is one of the most important issues which are also affecting the entire crypto space in a bad way. It's always good to destroy scammers plans to steal money from us.  Smiley
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake ico and bounty on: September 15, 2018, 07:24:50 PM
Pls what are the best way to detect fake ico and fake project... We can't continue working to promote them and later discovered that it is bounch of fake... We really need tools to detect fake ico
Best way is to verify team members on linkedin or look in Google if it is real. Some people use fake team members only to collect ICO money and vanish when ICO is over.

And in addition you find a board called Scam Accusation here in Bitcointalk where some of the Scams are listed and called out. This can be helpful to check: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0
219  Other / Archival / Re: ICO without whitepaper on: September 14, 2018, 11:06:27 PM
Personally , I don't think there should be an ICO without whitepaper. The whitepaper bridges the gap between an investor and a company. Can we say a ICO without a whitepaper is a scam? Or what can you say about an ICO without whitepaper
For sure, an ICO without whitepaper sounds very scammy. A whitepaper is very necessary to explain the project and it's idea, it's essential to be followed and get a knowledge.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MINING ON YOUR ANDROID PHONE on: September 14, 2018, 10:16:53 PM
Mining is only profitable with professional hardware and if you have access to cheap electricity. Many coins produce only a small profit and ETH will change to POS later.
