101  Economy / Economics / Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries? on: January 27, 2019, 02:17:45 AM
Well, I would not refer the number of Bitcoin users to Bitcoin ATMs in a country. A lot of countries from SE asia don't have the infrastructure to place Bitcoin ATMs everywhere but a large number of people is unsing Bitcoin there. I can imagine some of there coutries will catch up in the future and have more people using bitcoin.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why many ico launch with ETH ? on: January 27, 2019, 02:01:26 AM
Many ICO launch payment gateway choice ETH. any other crypto coins why not use in ico payment gateway.
ETH is widely used and this brings some opportunities to every ICO which is using ETH platform for doing their ICO. If customers have to create wallets of less famous coins first to purchase and receive tokens, many won't do that. For the project, such behaviour would mean less investments and less funds.

Therefore, it's easy to use ETH platform.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big market crash has started? on: January 23, 2019, 01:00:10 AM
Since I posted this subject the market conditions have changed and Bitcoin looks like it will smash 7K soon!
Long live Bitcoin
Lol, finally not only 7k got smashed, looks like 3k will most likely also get smashed. But 1 thing: some bear markets are very hard and long ones and bitcoin always managed to come back. If you really believe in BTC it's now time to accumulate. Just switch your shitcoins in BTC. BTC has a better future in my opinion.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Bounty hunters on: January 23, 2019, 12:51:00 AM
I hope Bitcointalk will start caring about its people ,there should be new moderators that can fish out bad projects on here to avoid wasting time of bounty hunters ,and about KYC ive come to think of it as many bounty hunters don't like KYC I'm sure if Bitcointalk is the one asking for KYC so as to limit frauds and multiple accounts bounty hunters won't complain, we will follow the rules.
Well, if our data gets hacked? It's always possible like the data hack of Bitcointalk in 2014 oder 2015. KYC has no place in crypto and also no place in bounty campaigns. Easy would be if campaign managers check all participants carefully and rejects accounts with red trust immediately.

,but first 'SAFE US FROM BAD SCAMMY PROJECTS' ,no matter how wise we investigate a project they end up been scam ,scammers are getting wiser as well.looook at desico for example Shocked Can anyone tell me if he/she knew Desico is a scam from day one? I guess not
A fee paid to Bitcointalk to make a bounty would be useful. And send some money as a collateral for bounty payment in escrow.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Grin | PoW Mining | Electronic transactions for all. Community driven. on: January 23, 2019, 12:37:55 AM
This project seems to be shilled far too much in my opinion. Normally I'm giving out the benefit of doubt to every project and see how it proceeds but it's really difficult to project this onto Grin. The inflation issue is a really huge thing if you compare it to other crypto solutions. A main part of Bitcoin was limited supply - which Grin is the exactly opposite.
Additionally, I didn't see such a weak ANN presentation. The design standards have fairly improved the last years. Even if OP has no high rank (and is obviously not getting into a better one soon) the ANN in the most important crypto forum could be designed much better.
And finally: I don't know why this forum supports altcoins while having the option of getting involved in much better altcoins that are actually approved.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More than 80% of ICO's launched in 2017/8 Were Scams, STO's are the next step. on: January 23, 2019, 12:26:13 AM
I don't see any advantages for STO in general for small investors. STOs are known for giving advantages to big investors and as a result disadvantages to small investors. It's obiously why ICOs were developed: giving very small investors a chance to accumulate tokens and a chance for making some decent profit.
STO is going into the wrong direction, away from small investors and reloading misfunction of previous investment opportunities we know from general founding projects. Sad to see it  Cry
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing In ICO's vs Investing AFTER The ICO on: January 23, 2019, 12:21:27 AM
I see a lot of people wondering if they should invest in ICO's. I think the best option for any potential investor is to wait until the ICO ends, THEN invest. For instance, Nauticus was an ICO that started back in March. They recently launched their exchange and have been doing pretty good. Prices are only down 30% from the ICO price. That is a GOOD sign, BUT the prices still fell! This was a high quality project that raised $19,000,000. If they're falling a little bit due to the bear market, then you can expect 99% of the other ICO's currently out there to fall as well. It's all going to be dependent on the market, but in terms of risk I think it's better off if you just wait, THEN invest after the product launches. At the end of the day DYOR! It's imperative that you guys understand that we are in a bear market. Even the best projects like Nauticus, Ethereum, Bitcoin, NEO ect are all falling. I would assume that they won't fall forever tho Tongue

Nauticus Exchange - https://nauticus.exchange/exchange/
Well, it was fact that Nauticus did in above case ICO during bear market and price went down pegged to overall market impression. If someone is doing an ICO during a bear market the result can be other way round: if you invest in ICO you have a bigger profit than investing after ICO.
If market is going sidewarts it should normally be fifty fifty chance.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC should be for big whales on: January 23, 2019, 12:18:05 AM
I'm here today to drop my own point about how KYC should be use
- KYC requirement for bounties and airdrops is so unreasonable ,KYC implementation is no doubt a good idea but it should be forced only on big investors that wants to buy large amount of a token either From Exchanges
- there should be limit for KYC requirements e.g like if an investor wants to buy 10,000$ worths of tokens upward then he or she must go through KYC ,just saying
I agree, it is a very good idea, limits of investments according to KYC are a good decision, if KYC is neccessary. In most cases it shouldn't be neccessary for the average small investor. Unfortunately, some projects make no difference if someone invest 100$ oder 100000$  Roll Eyes
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest only in active projects on: January 23, 2019, 12:15:24 AM
Thanks a lot to all contributing comments here and I'm having same opinion. The problems of a bear market is also a lack of motivation of a team. They see going down everything and often it's difficult for them to have optimism that it will get better in the future.
As a result can be resignation and they don't continue to develop the project because it looks impossible to achive goals.

I hope many projects are still motivated and see real potential (which is there). Past has shown crypto can always have a comeback.  Smiley
110  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is bounties still worth it? on: January 19, 2019, 01:58:29 AM
During times like right now, not many bounty hunters are participating in campaigns and my personal opinion is to have good chences even right now. You will receive much more stakes because a low number of hunters will enroll in the campaign. Lots of users are giving up and saying it's not profitable anymore but I'm not same opinion.
Collect tokens right now, you'll receive much more compared when more hunters join and HODL your tokens of a good project you'll see a multiplied price of your token in a few years and can be happy to sell at a huge profit. Times like this should be used to pick up tokens and sell when price is multiplied.  Smiley
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Gold have a future? on: January 19, 2019, 01:48:57 AM
Bitcoin Gold is just another cheap rehash of bitcoin, using name of Bitcoin to become more famous. So many coins are using it just to become more attention, like Bitcoin Diamond, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin Black, Bitcoin Private and how all rehashes are called.
It's just a new sort of coin gaining advantage from original BTC.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding EOS? on: January 16, 2019, 05:55:08 PM
No, I don't hold EOS yet, but it's a very good coin. I remembered of buying it but I don't had much funds back so I did'nt invest. I can imagine to still invest or participate in a bounty paying in EOS. I really like to have EOS in my wallet.  Smiley
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Options for investment in early 2019?! on: January 16, 2019, 05:37:56 PM
What can you do when you see the market too often red? In addition to Bitcoin and ethereum, what coins appear to have a chance to rise to the moon. I want to hear your opinion. Please share your opinions and suggestions. I am very happy if I get meaningful advice. Thank you for your time.
ETH is my first investment decision if you search for good coins. But you can also have a look at new ICO, good projects are always there but difficult to detect. If you invest in such projects you can made a very good ROI on your coins.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WIll ETH pass BTC in 2019 ? on: January 16, 2019, 05:34:43 PM
WIll ETH pass BTC in 2019 ?
I really doubt if ETH will pass BTC. In 2019 and following years it is just very extremely unlikely. BTC is doing well and a pass of ETH would require big issues for BTC which I can't see really right now.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big day for ETH on: January 16, 2019, 05:28:55 PM
The fork will happen on January 16, 2019 - right?
Yes, indeed

So do you think this can be a great day for ETH or just a normal update?
The price right now is not making any big move, what do you think will happen tomorrow?
It's an update ofcourse, but in my opinion very hyped. ETH is already very approved and this update will just add additional value. It will develop Ethereum anyways. Looking forward how ETH will proceed.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Now The Time To Buy Quality Projects? on: January 16, 2019, 05:25:47 PM
It is a perfect time not only to buy quality ICOs coins, but to invest in the most perspective coins that are already on the market. You have still an opportunity to invest during such a bad market and gain great profits in the future.
Yes, fear was always an indicator when it was reasonlble to but and gain the biggest profits. Others sell low so it's possible tu buy very cheap and wait to cash out when price will be sustainable again. I can't even understand why people still sell at such low levels...
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tron Price Rises 53% in Five Days – Is This TRX Run Sustainable? on: January 14, 2019, 08:52:53 PM
I don't know if Tron is really something you should invest in because it's only based on hype marketing to increase price and awareness but doesn't offer really value of the platform. There is a saying: noise comes out of a cave louder than it really is. And same is Tron in marketing.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A jump of 11% for ethereum in just 30 mins on: January 14, 2019, 08:50:01 PM
I am currently trading on Binance and was surprised that ethereum went up a price from $115 to $130 in just 30 minutes where other altcoins followed the upward trend. Is this a sign of an incoming bull run for ethereum for its incoming hardfork or just a bull trap? Based on my research, Constantinople hardfork will occur on the 16th of January where Binance also confirmed that they will support the hardfork. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Most likely only a big buy order, Ethereum price recently mostly is similar to BTC price and following it. A price peak before ETH hardfork is also to be estimated but won't last very long.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Airdrop and Bounty Campaign on: January 12, 2019, 01:45:10 AM
Can someone clear me out for these 2 things?

What is the difference between Airdrop and Bounty Campaign?

Thanks
Airdrop is a very small distribution of coins for doing simple tasks like join Telegram or follow Twitter. Bounty is much bigger and tasks are more time consuming but rewards are much better. Famous bounties are Bitcointalk Signature campaign or to write articles on a blog for example.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH return to 1000 USD after hardfork? on: January 12, 2019, 01:42:16 AM
Long-term it is very likely to get to old prices of ETH. ETH will have many updates and improve the currect network platform by additional features and security improvements. To hold a few ETH which you don't spent is always useful.
