201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you convince people into you using Bitcoin? on: May 15, 2017, 01:58:59 PM
Well, to be serious I dont really see any point in convincing anyone to using bitcoin, I cannot also understand what profit you may get from advertising bitcoin and blockchain among the other people?
If you are some kind of a guy who earns on affiliates, then maybe it is a good idea but you need to focus on making people enter your referral link, so you are earning through some website: after all, you dont get any gains from making people use bitcoin.

I rather don't mention about bitcoin to people that haven't heard about it before, because less people means I can get better price for it Smiley
The price will rise no matter what (on long-term), so I am not worried at all.
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: May 10, 2017, 04:32:17 PM
I think that still, there are plenty reasons why cash is much better to hold than bitcoin.
With money stacked as a bills, you may spend them anytime you really want, and with bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency: it is not so easy.

But I have to agree that if somebody is looking for good investment, then bitcoin might be a great way if the person is educated enough- to make money on this knowledge.
Still, you can just earn cash through going to a regular job, so you dont really have to do anything special in the internet.
I like to use the cryptocurrency market as my second source of income.
203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: May 08, 2017, 08:08:41 PM
I dont know why OP not successful as trader because they dont want what they do. Being trader is not easy you need time, focus and everything to earn If you want to earn bitcoin in tradinf you need a lot of research use strategy, tips andf follow the updates of the coin you want to buy if they have potential or note.  I dont recommend to invest your moneyin hyip. TRADING IS THE BEST FOR ME
Well not all of us are becoming successful trader and if op didn't became a successful one and he decided to quit, that's his decision. But right now I'm pretty sure that there's no way to quit in crypto trading because its very profitable.
What exactly do you mean, with saying that there is no way to quit cryptocurrency trading? There is always such an option, you dont have to continue doing your trades with alt/BTC pairs. You may simply close all open positions, and just withdraw the money to be happy from the profit made (or be sad because of money that have been lost).

Many times, I have blasted all my funds that was being used for me as a money for trading purposes, but I know that making good conclusions is very important and thanks to that, i know that i will be able to not do the same mistake again, and maybe become profitable overall.
204  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earning with BTCs? on: May 08, 2017, 07:59:54 PM
Hello, I have about 3 BTCs that I would like to earn a little bit off of...I tried BTCjam and most lenders didnt pay back, so I made negative there..

I dont know trading so I dont know how that would be... any other ideas? Smiley
I think that actually, BTCjam looks nice as a possible way to invest your money, but in fact it is not so great as it looks. I know this thanks to my friends that have tried it, most of them are not keen onto this website.
But if you want to keep doing the similar thing: loaning, then i would suggest you just going on poloniex.com to use their service.

Also, with 3 bitcoins you are able to start your own loaning service, but you need to charge the collateral every time if you want to secure your funds, simple rule: no collateral, no loan
205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 08, 2017, 06:16:58 PM
I cannot agree with the popular opinion (usually, among the people that do not really know anything about cryptocurrency world) that bitcoin or other cryptos cannot be a source of income.
In fact, you can make money on anything if you are smart enough, and you also have enough courage and funds to start your own business/company.

If you can make money on selling sand, exchanging glass bottles to change or even selling unnecessary things, then why you would not be able to earn on BTC?

There are way more ways to make that profit, it does not have to be some kind of investing. You can simply earn it by yourself.
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: May 08, 2017, 05:46:30 PM
I cannot realły get the whole subject of the discussion, and what is question about, even when i have read the thread name few times.
I thought it is kind of obvious that people prefer fiat currencies over cryptocurrencies, and same with the reasons, they are pretty clear for me and I cannot understand how can someone not think about the exact same thing.

You dont use BTC to pay your bills, you rather dont use it to make everyday shopping such as groceries or even when you go to mall to buy clothes.
Fiat is much easier to use plus it is accepted everywhere.
207  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Lending bitcoins on: May 05, 2017, 06:22:59 PM
Does anyone know a site where I can lend bitcoins? I prefer not a long lending time. I know bitbond but maybe there are better ones, and is it completely safe?
Lmk Cheesy

Nik
There are many different sites where you can use your funds converted into BTC for a loaning purposes. It obviously depends on what rate and interest you are looking for, but there are some options in between you can choose.
For example, Poloniex gives a great way to invest your bitcoin. You can just make an agreement to borrow your money for margin leverage purposes, as traders borrow the money while selling on alts.
With something like that, the rate is pretty decent and the whole investment is almost risk free.

Dont forget about using bitcointalk.org ! You need to remember that we have many people looking for a loan here, at "Loans" section in "marketplace" , I suggest you can go there.
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: May 04, 2017, 04:15:15 PM
I think thay we might have differences between bitcoin and money, butin my opinion we can call btc as the same thing.
After all, gold may also be called as a money. It was obviously used for that purpose back some time ago, in form of a gold coins, which were valuable and respected everywhere.

The same thing might be about bitcoin, in fact it is a totally digital asset, but still if the population of many different countries will accept BTC as a payment option in most of the stores, it may be called also as a money,at least that is what I think right now.
209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: May 03, 2017, 01:18:13 PM
I dont think why anyone can consider that gambling is a sin. Every human being has his own will, and it is someones choice to gamble, a personal decision.
Gambling isn't something morally wrong because if you are doing it just for fun with small sums of money which do not really hurt you, there is no problem.
But indeed, gambling may be addictive and it can also lead to putting up even more and more funds on websites or real casinos.
Such an addiction is destructable, because you may pretty much lose everything you have. That is why you should never treat gambling as a way to make a profit, but just for entertainement.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: May 03, 2017, 12:45:25 PM
I never had any troubles with choosing proper gambling site.
It is very easy in my opinion, because on every casino you should have found a tab called "provably fair" or similiar to that, with the available way to proove that your bets were random.
Also, there are hundreds of many different websites that list particular online casinos with feedback of users, or sometimes even a voting system.

We cannot forget about bitcointalk.org: it is very important place in which we can just check if the gambling website is scam, or a legit company.
Just ask the users, or browse through the forum sections.

To be honest, I has never got scammed by casino, or any user in there. All you need is to make precautions.
211  Economy / Speculation / Re: You'll sell at the bottom on: May 03, 2017, 12:29:07 PM
At $1280 / BTC right now, you'll hardly sell at the bottom.  Grin

These times are just great for cryto and the blockchain.
Exactly, I dont think why this thread is called like that because the discussion is totally about something different.
In fact, we are already having even higher price. It has reached even 1400 USD so the demand probably is increasing constantly: the Japan society is obtaining bitcoins from cryptocurrency exchanges.
I have heard that many people in there are exchanging their fiats from banks to BTC, to hold them properly without paying any fees, and also to earn the interest.
Im really wondering how exactly it will be adopted in Japan.
It looks like a really interesting idea for me, and I hope that actually there will be a lot of the shops with available BTC as a one of the possibile ways to pay for goods.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: May 02, 2017, 10:45:29 PM
For me, bitcoin is not money. It performs the functions of gold, payment of the system and cash. Bitcoin is something in common with what I called.

I agree it's tempting to see bitcoin just as an asset. But i've use bitcoin as a currency too. So yeah it's not only a fact that bitcoin is a currency but it's also how  you treat it.
Buying stuff will give you the feeling of how it is money and believe me there is plenty to buy with bitcoin.
I think that it doesnt really matters if you think that bitcoin is more as an asset than a currency or money, but these answers don't change anything.
As far as I know, bitcoin may bring many great possibilities for anyone, thanks to the availablity on the whole planet.
All you need to use BTC is being connected to the internet, and probably a way to buy BTC, so a bank account.
There is no problem to make payments to your friends or financial partners in bitcoins, this is comfortable in most cases for the both sides of the transaction.
213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Poloniex isn't the best place to trade alts on: May 02, 2017, 08:11:03 PM
I really dont think that the OP might be right in this case. Poloniex, at least for me is a great place to trade altcoins because of many reasons and the most important one, is that I had never encountered any problems with processing my withdrawals to the given address.
For example, you may withdraw cryptocurrencies worth even up to 2000$ daily without any ID identification.
That is something really great, because we can still keep ourselves anonymous while trading because you can simply schedule your payments in a proper way, to not have any problems with the limit.

Also, everybody needs to remember that Polo is pretty much the biggest cryptocurrency exchange, so the volume is really high.
Personally, I dont know any place better for alt trading than Poloniex.
214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: earn money with lending btc?! on: May 01, 2017, 10:33:56 PM
what you guys think about lending btc through poloniex or other sites? the rates are 0.5-2% atm per day so pretty decent. are there any other ways of making income with ur btc?
Well, to be honest I have always thought that starting loaning service (for example, at bitcointalk.org) is a really good idea, which may bring nice gains: and it doesnt require a vast amount of funds.

Another thing possible to do which also may give decent returns and is loan-related thing, is just to use such websites as poloniex for that purpose, they offer a really good rates, plus you are pretty much risk free. They cover you up and there is no point in being afraid of losing the money borrowed to the leverage trading.
215  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like we have set a new ATH at $1,377 on: April 30, 2017, 11:44:49 PM
To be honest, last time I have heard from many people that they expect the bitcoin bubble to pop once again.
I could not believe such a predictions, but I have to say that after this strange and fast price increase from 1250$ to 1377$ (All-time high) Im not sure if I have not changed my mind.

Personally, I think that BTC is currently overvalued. It is because there are way too many problems with the working of network. In the event of a really big spam attack, you can pretty much cluster the network so hard that it is not going to be useful for anyone.
With a big amount of users, the thing will be the same. We need solution, then we should think about achieving higher and higher prices.
216  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Invest 2 btc on: April 30, 2017, 09:01:43 PM
Im actually really tired about what is happening lately on this forum, it is probably mostly because of the payments from the signature campainings.

The bitcoin price has risen last 4 months, as we can see also the trading volume is getting bigger, along with the amount of new people coming into the cryptocurrency world overall, and also this forum-bitcointalk.org.
Obviously, a big part of those crowd wants to earn BTC by themselves, without any kind of an investment: so they simply start signature campainings, and such.

But some of those people prefer to just scam all the guys that are looking for some "investments" which will provide vast amount of returns- obviously, you need to be a new-born in BTC world to not know about ponzis schemes and HYIP's that are running away with the customers money.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin address - are there enough for us all? on: April 30, 2017, 08:45:50 PM
Yes, there is no doubt that we are not going to have any issues with the amount of bitcoin addresses available for particular persons.
There is no problem for every single person on earth to have even 10,000 wallets, there are still so many possibilities that there is enough of combinations to allow 9 billion people to use blockchain network with their own addresses.

Take a look what option do blockchain.info wallet services provides: obviosuly, many other wallet softwares are providing the exactly same thing, but it is just an example.
Every time you want to transfer any bitcoins on your wallet, or give an address to someone to transfer them: the programme changes the address on which you send.

That still does not make any difference, still that is enough of combinations for whole human kind.
218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: April 30, 2017, 08:27:57 PM
I think that the answer for this question is not easy, because it depends on a various factors.
Many incidents may occur during the time when you invest, and you may not expect any of them sometimes. That is a big issue, and the decent amount of money made for investment and proper diversifaction (along with correct money management) may protect you from a rainy day.

But something like that does not have to happen, there are still many cases in which you may become succesful. The thing about small investments is that you need to constantly multiply your bankroll by a small percentages: until you reach a higher sum, which will allow you to put up a really decent investment with a good interest.
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are bitcoin cash machines becoming more popular? on: April 30, 2017, 07:44:51 PM
I heard there was a spike in 2014/2015, haven't heard much about it in the news recently.
Yes indeed, there was many new BTC cash machines created in 2014 and 2015, but we are talking about past now.
From that time, there are still new being created, and we can see more of them showing up in the public places.
It still depends in which country and city you are, but I think that there should be at least one bitcoin ATM in your region.

But to be honest, im not using such a service because maybe it is comfortable but i need pay a fee even up to 7-8%.
That is why I just prefer to sell my BTC on some kind of exchange, where I get bank transfer on my account. The commision is greatly lower.
220  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: April 30, 2017, 07:15:39 PM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?
Many are desiring to become rich in bitcoin, but there are also majority of them failed to achieved it because some of them became impatience, then in my case I'm not earning big yet into bitcoin actually, I'm still in the process of learning about here in this bitcoin world. And I'm not starting it yet to do actual trade in the market, maybe sooner or later I will go to that stage.
Im actually happy, that you are a newbie and you are already saying such a smart things.
You are one hunder percent right, there are very few possibilities in which you can get big amount of money in a very short period of time, thanks to bitcoin.
In most cases, you can currently make such a big returns with altcoins, but it contains a very high risk, and the trader should be well educated about cryptocurrencies to have an ability to enter the coin with potential.

You need to put a lot of effort on making bitcoin on a long term. If you will be successful, you can make a lot of bitcoins in just few years.
