I think that people can have a bit of fun to speculate on Doge and other meme tokens. At the end of the day, they know what they're doing with their capital and they can make their own consenting decisions about what they want to do with it.

Yes, there are certain projects that survived that are worthwhile investments, but at the end of the day the bulk of them are garbage and only priced favourably because of the short term hype. Exactly what's happening right now to other coins without a historical track record like ETH.

You're ignoring a lot of factors here.

Firstly, ETH has a larger circulating supply than BTC so it makes no sense to say that ETH will exceed BTC's price in the future even if their market caps do catch up.

Secondly, ETH and BTC serve completely different roles; ETH is a utility token that can be used in smart contracts and DeFi, whilst bitcoin is a store of value. So it's not like it's an "either or" situation here.

I don't see any point in holding LTC anymore apart from sentimental value and for speculation... There could be a pump at any stage but in the long run I don't see value here.
