21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Dogecoin Is Crypto's Most Dangerous Joke on: October 15, 2021, 01:00:48 AM
Is it a joke? Yes.

Is it dangerous? No.

I think that people can have a bit of fun to speculate on Doge and other meme tokens. At the end of the day, they know what they're doing with their capital and they can make their own consenting decisions about what they want to do with it.

Price crashing is a real prospect but the consequences are limited to speculators who knew the risks.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top on the list of your portfolio on: October 15, 2021, 12:37:31 AM
Guys am quite curious to know what is your favorite token/coins in your portfolio at the moment.
As we are all aware of the current altcoin surge with lots of new NFTs and Defi projects that are changing the phase of the altcoin market.

ETH is still at the top of my list.

I think that even though DeFi and NFTs are going to be big in the future, their valuations are blown out of proportion by a mile.

Don't forget what happened to ICOs. Yes, there are certain projects that survived that are worthwhile investments, but at the end of the day the bulk of them are garbage and only priced favourably because of the short term hype. Exactly what's happening right now to other coins without a historical track record like ETH.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Comparison of Bitcoin and Ethereum on: October 15, 2021, 12:20:02 AM
Because Ethereum has better technology and smart contracts, I think the price may catch up with BTC in the future, what is your opinion Grin

You're ignoring a lot of factors here.

Firstly, ETH has a larger circulating supply than BTC so it makes no sense to say that ETH will exceed BTC's price in the future even if their market caps do catch up.

Secondly, ETH and BTC serve completely different roles; ETH is a utility token that can be used in smart contracts and DeFi, whilst bitcoin is a store of value. So it's not like it's an "either or" situation here.
24  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 500xBit.com - Easily Bet On Bitcoin - 500 ❌ 250 ❌ 100 ❌ 50 ❌ Insane Leverage! on: October 14, 2021, 10:46:24 PM
Is your website still on beta stage or was it already opened officially? I think you should finish first the mobile version and I find some typos on the pop up when you withdraw your money they yellow one?
Previously the website had been officially opened but the team said a few days ago after announcing the contest they were busy working on the website so it might be under maintenance until they re-announce it here.

I think 500xbit already knows about the display complaints in phones and they must have seen this, so it's likely to be accompanied by this so when the website recovers all versions are available by then.

Good summary. Yes, website is being worked on. Will be back up soon. Anyone that needs to withdraw his funds asap can contact the email added to website.

Will update this thread once ready to trade again Smiley

Yes please - I think that this is a fantastic site.

I don't think that shutting down the site altogether is a good idea, perhaps just disable the games for the time being but allow for people to access their balances?

That way players don't feel like you're just leaving them high and dry.
25  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportbook without KYC on: October 14, 2021, 10:24:16 PM
I have been searching for a sportsbook without KYC that have a fairly good reputation. And with fairly good I simply mean that they don't scam and steal you money.

Stake, Nitrogensports, Sportsbet, Fairlay.

Probably avoid Nitro until they sort out their issues but I've been playing their for a long time and never had issues.

Fairlay is a betting exchange. This may or may not be better for your circumstances given that you seem to want to interact with a central sports book and not a place where you can create your own odds.
26  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ Paradice.in | 🍀 Provably Fair 🎲 | Rain☔| 30 sec Faucet | 1% House Edge 💰| on: October 14, 2021, 08:27:09 PM
If you want a lousy casino that makes excuses and is inconsistent, this is the place to go.
If you don't mind having your money taken from you, why not use it?

Hey! Don’t be rude. We have good news for you! Now Paradice has a new management team. New team thinks that the decision of the old management to leave you without a reward as a non depositor was the wrong decision. So:

1. You’re welcome back to Paradice, and enjoy our games as the good old times.

2. We mean to pay all your winnings, $6540 in crypto.

Please contact to support service at Paradice with your wallet address, so we will be able to send you your winnings.

Have a nice day!  Wink

If this is true then it definitely inspires a lot more confidence in Paradice.

Hopefully the new management team stands the test of time and actually implements a lot of changes that turns the reputation of this site around.

Paying $6k in winnings is a great start, but please the proceedings transparent for everyone to see.
27  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in stopped giving RP bonuses? on: October 14, 2021, 07:55:47 PM
Yeah, I don't think that it's an accident.

As you say it is one of their better features given that the BTC claim is now just a few satoshi for the normal prize. And it's probably costing them a lot compared to the ad revenue that it is generating.

If you want to create income in crypto, freebitco.in is definitely not the way to spend your time though. I would only play on their site for fun.
28  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where to report gambling fraud? on: October 14, 2021, 07:38:11 PM
Hello, I have been searching the forum to see where to report gambling site frauds on this forum.

Depends on the magnitude of the problem and who you want to resolve the issue.

Your country probably has a complaint centre for gambling operators, or a gambling ombudsman.

If you want to make a complaint to them you'd have to go through their complaint handling process. On the forum you can create a new scam accusation but that's probably not going to do anything other than add negative trust to the casino operator's account.
29  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [10-09-2021] Google to Help Digital Asset Platform Bakkt Introduce Crypto on: October 09, 2021, 05:00:13 AM
Google has been flipflopping on crypto for quite a while now.

I don't think that people should be particularly intrigued by an institutional collaboration like this.

They are inevitably going to expand in whatever is profitable so it's not anything special. What the crypto community actually needs is real grassroots adoption and innovation on a decentralized manner.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Let's pay attention to BNB? on: October 08, 2021, 12:18:17 AM
While BNB was at $331 dollars on September 29, the upward trend of the last week is remarkable. I think that after BTC's correction, BNB will correct itself. BNB, which has risen to the level of $ 440, does not seem to be a surprise to reach the level of $ 500 by the end of the year.

I don't think so.

BNB definitely does not follow the trend of larger alts or BTC.

It has its own trend and it's largely influenced by the regulatory perspectives that it is under. For instance, if regulators decide that they will tighten restrictions on accessing exchanges, BNB prices would suffer.

I would personally not invest given its centralized nature. I would rather put money into ETH.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many dollars in LTC coin? on: October 07, 2021, 11:32:01 PM
hello friends,

I'm trying to look at all the comments. In this process, I wanted to write about a coin that I thought was forgotten. LTC coins!! When will LTC coin get the value it deserves. Could December be a bullish month for the LTC coin? I think this coin does not have the real value it deserves. LTC currently worth $179, do you think it will be $500 by the end of this year?

No.

I think that a lot of the functionality and advantages of LTC is now replicated and bettered by other alternatives such as ETH.

I don't see any point in holding LTC anymore apart from sentimental value and for speculation... There could be a pump at any stage but in the long run I don't see value here.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buying shib right now on: October 07, 2021, 11:13:49 PM
Hi I want jump on the bandwagon right now and buy some shib haha I am looking at the rsi and extremely overbought I see. Should I just wait a bit for it to come down some then buy? Or this still going through the roof and I should get on now?

Using all these indicators on a meme coin is not going to end up well, haha.

Nobody is able to tell you whether or not the price of Shib is going to go up, down or stay sideways.

But I do think that given a large pump has already passed and the project itself doesn't really have any substance, you're probably better off sitting this one out.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful with Meme Coins on: October 07, 2021, 10:49:49 PM
experienced users understand that meme coins are too risky for investments but many newbies want to earn fast and easy money that's why they put their money in such coins as SHIB, DOGE and others.

And it's honestly worked out pretty good for them, so good for them I guess.

But in the long run, this is not a viable investment strategy.

You should only invest in stuff that actually has intrinsic utility and value. Memecoins is merely a speculative vehicle that has been hyped up by the community, and most will die down and return to their intrinsic value of zero in the long term.
34  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-10-02] Bitcoin investors 'no longer fearful' — watch this BTC price level on: October 07, 2021, 10:26:40 PM
The sentiment is much higher now and the price support at $50k is very strong.

However, I think that people are getting a bit overconfident for this current bull run to be sustainable.

I do expect $60k to come sooner or later, but I also think that a correction will occur by the end of 2022 given the 4-year cycles.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandora Papers - Massive journalism work on tax avoidance and evasion on: October 07, 2021, 09:56:24 AM
A lot of people are saying that these papers show absolutely no significant sign of bitcoin related wrongdoing, and they are absolutely right.

This just confirms that crypto is transparent and reliable as a payment method.

All of the KYC/AML business that has been drummed up are mostly propaganda to restrict access to cryptos, unfortunately.
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice for fun or profits on: October 07, 2021, 08:38:05 AM
There's no point playing dice for any reason other than for fun.

You are not going to win long term, to put it simply.

The odds are mathematically against you and it is designed to be this way so that the casino can win in the long run. How do you plan on beating maths?
37  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling license on: October 07, 2021, 07:50:59 AM
Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I'm looking to rent a legit online gambling license. What's the best way to do so?

You can't lend a gambling licence.

You can apply for them in some questionable countries, but these don't really mean anything - people are just as unlikely/likely to trust you.

Establishing a good reputation is much more important than any licence that may look good.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are privacy coins destined to failure? on: October 07, 2021, 06:43:48 AM
Hell no.

Privacy coins are actually one of the only things that we need right now in the crypto space.

All that NFT and DeFi hype is just a fad. Privacy is one of the things that underpin cryptography and I'm bullish on coins like ZEC and XMR long term.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most popular bitcoin-only poker sites? on: October 06, 2021, 11:42:44 PM
No need to look further than SwC in my opinion.

They are generally considered to be the best poker room when it comes to crypto deposits and withdrawals. Solid track record.

If you do go with others you are probably going to find a lack of actual players and/or issues that have sprung up in the past.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: Africa’s crypto market has grown by more than 1,200% since 2020: Chainalysis on: October 06, 2021, 11:29:02 PM
This could just be attributed to the price of bitcoin and other cryptos rising substantially.

I would classify this as sort of a non-news. It is exactly what we expect.

An increase in trading volume etc. is not an indication of whether or not people are actually adopting bitcoin/other cryptos as a form of day to day transaction, which is actually what we need.
