481  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [6600Th] Eligius: 0% Fee BTC, 105% PPS NMC, No registration, CPPSRB (New Thread) on: March 06, 2014, 08:32:09 AM
I'm admittedly new to Eligius, having come from Slush and I'm hoping someone can educate me a little, I seem to have had a period of about half a day where I've been hashing fine but my balance of has not increased and is as low as if I'd not been hashing at all, I've attached pics of the relevant portions below. I've not registered any particularly high amount of rejects that I've noticed, but it did coincide with the CPPSRB failsafe mode trips, is there any connection? Is this normal occasional behaviour? (Am I just being stupid?) I'm not really concerned, more curious.

Your balance is fine and corrected. The RED part was when stats were in failsafe and recovering. After stats catch up balance takes jump and autocorrects. Stats and payout are running in diffrent server, when there is a glitch stats stop to prevent wrong payouts. No earnings are lost as long as your miners are hashing away.

483  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: KnC Neptune Shipping Speculation (Existing Customers Order) on: March 04, 2014, 06:40:37 PM
looks more and more they never finish Neptune product. Instead customers still not refunded will get cloud hashing instead of hardware.
KnC wants to become bitcoin service provider, wallets and stuff.

Got one of these miners from those photos. I think they needed my display tho... boo, i'll buy a new one.
Have to say after first hour of toying around this is great design and top level hardware. I like it.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

BTC value +1000$ this would be mint... but now at these prices.. Not.

i'll try making supersilent 1TH +900W miner.... tomorrow i'll will measure watts.

OH Jack frogot to include info whats the units IP address.... well found it with 1 scan Smiley

After first hour. I think this unit wont need those Industrial level fans. Tomorrow i'm gonna swap them out and replace with some quiet fans. If this unit takes only 1kw thats the heat.. This case is very nice and has room for many silent fans. I dont see issue of running this with less RPM fans. It's running so cool atm.

486  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 1.37 BTC for 180GH/s on: March 01, 2014, 05:51:01 PM
How about people pay the proper customs and obey their local laws?

Why not. im paying 25% from my wages toward tax bag, im paying 300gbp every year in road tax, im paying duty in overpriced fuel. im paying tax on alcohol, vat on mobile, vat on internet etc. why not pay full price for miners. Why not!

Why not. Give up your passport, say bye  and move to Africa - Zimbabwe. Roads may have bumbs and electricity.. meh maybe. But no vat.

Bitmain is only playing fair declaring real value.
487  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GROUP BUY WORLDWIDE]BTMine v1 Miner 200GH/s BTC 2.4 on: February 28, 2014, 12:35:10 AM

Maybe you need better psus.

Dualminer support is coming to BFGminer so maybe can use that awesome ra-pi quide to setup my pi to mine. Dont like the old cgminer version, i need to support antminers same time.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: February 26, 2014, 02:19:50 AM
They replied to me.....

"Refund will only be processed in USD.
In order to process your refund we would need for you to provide us with the details as listed below. "

I got the same reply, then after i sent my bank info i got this:

"Your orders xxxxx and xxxxx have been cancelled and will be refunded shortly.
Could you please also provide us with bitcoin wallet, as the other two orders might be refunded in BTC."

Those "other two orders" are orders paid in BTC, rest in fiat. I cross my fingers for BTC refund as it only "might" be refunded in BTC whatever that means.

Knc is mining your refund right now. The "might" part is to account for variance.  Smiley

After you get refund..

I bet if you give us the refunded bitcoins trail.. sherlocks in here can point out how they were mined in Eligius. Shiny new minted coins.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: February 25, 2014, 11:53:36 PM
Good.  They brought it on themselves by being fucking assholes and screwing us over with their "datorhall"/bullshit delays.

It will now take Knc ~160TH of mining power to earn enough Bitcoin in a single day to refund one 13K Neptune pre-order, and that number is increasing as Bitcoin falls in value.

They receive no sympathy on my part. The moment they changed their business model to serve a different master they lost all credibility and my order. These ass holes misled everyone. I hope their farm fails.

They can afford to refund 10 orders /day with profits, while pumping up their mining power in datorhall... untill all is refunded... KnC will reborn as cloudmining and bitcoin wallet / service provider company... mining and lending hashingpowers with combined in-their-wallet-system-transactions + service fees is more profitable than hardware selling. It is business modell with continuous income instead of one time cashing as equipment sales. It.s business 101 why sell if you can lend, why sell if you can rent out and charge fees. Sadly this was paid by customers.. no amount of refunds will crash KnC stop KnC anymore.

With paidout hardware KnC can keep mining for good profits and disrupting the hasrate balance. They are least ~10% of network total hashrate. Eligius top2 miners mine to same wallet.

3500 coins per day, they get least 300.

Neptune wont profit... KnC will survive.

493  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, 1THS(1000GHS) Bitcoin miner, 950W. on: February 25, 2014, 06:42:22 PM
If they have sold alot of these then why hasnt the difficulty skyrocketed with ltc ?

No one is mining LTC? It is not the most profitable scrypt coin.

what are people mostly mining then?

They work nice for Dogecoin and profits more.
494  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: February 25, 2014, 09:25:58 AM
In the next few days, Bitmain will adjust the price of the S1 miner on a daily basis. We will reflect the shipping date difference, which means every time our website store manager deliver the order information into the shipping system at the 18:00PM of Beijing, the price will be adjusted. So please don't be pissed off if you buy the S1 then only 1 minutes later the price dropped a little bit. It only means that you have caught today's last bus.

you have caught today's last bus...

Ahahhaha  Grin lol this is good! Bitmain is easily voted best Bitcoin hardware dealer for 2014, keep it up guys!! I'll order few more.

Or we could say only Dealer who delivers..

499  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GATHERING INTEREST] 1TH/s 28nm 1000W ASIC miner $5250 on: February 23, 2014, 07:04:24 PM
This price seems high. Any chance factory drops prices?

Grin that pic sums it up quite nicely. No mining is profitable at these bitcoin prices. Nothing will make 4-5 BTC so nothing would be worth to buy for over 2500$
Yet manufacturers seek prices +5000$ to cover their design and work costs.

Sadly they still have plenty of clients with +5000$ price. I'm one of them.

With this difficulty curve going up up up nothing is worth buying in March. In 7 days.

For mining game to start again Bitcoin needs +1000$ price, while now it looks like it could hit sub 500$ before that.

Maybe intrested, these seem good.
