I am in UK - for some reason I pasted the US stratum server in my conf file instead of the EU stratum server! So I know have some blades pointed at US and GS Mini pointed at EU stratums all under the same BTC address! Does this actually matter? No, as long as the worker addresses are the same, there's no problem. I suggest you change all back to EU, since it's better. TY for that - are you saying that the EU server is just better all round or better as I am in the UK? Interestingly, I have been trying out MagicPool which is getting quite a lot of hashrate - comparing MP and CM, MP is 0.001020562 BTC/MHS/Day down on period 12th - 22nd June. Considering that Magic Pool is a 'switchpool switching pool' I would have thought there should be an advantage with them... I think I read somewhere that the profitability check frequency is 6 hours - that's only 4 times a day so perhaps not granular enough?

Which cgminer are you using? (point the source code url or the download page please) The known problem with cgminer is because of the extranonce2_size, as we are dividing the jobs we need to reduce the size from 4 to 2 or 3 bytes (which is completely OK according the stratum protocol specification). Some cgminer versions assume that the extranonce2_size is always 4 and then it sends invalid shares. Let's try to find what is going on Hi, missed your response - busy weekend! Gave up with the little GS Mini! Windoze cgminer 3.7.2 for Gridseed is giving me probs and needed my Pi for my Blades! Have now got 4 x Blades pointed at you since Fri controlled by up to date Starminer on Pi (cgminer 4.3.0) all good so far with 0.007% reject in last 26 hours - not bad!

Wow, such power..! Shame I'm in the UK

Really weird stats reported for first 2 G-Blades! Have clocked at 800Mhz initially. 435M/hs for 2 x Blades - I wish! This is remote setup - so I'm concerned for heat issues etc. so not running continuously if I have doubts! Is the SHA-256 cores definitely SWITCHED OFF / DISABLED on this cgminer version? This using the latest stable image of Starminer... I'm going to try a couple of other pools to see if it is anything to do with MagicPool also. LinuxETC: I have resolved this!!! Simply requires "chips=40,modules=1" inserted into the gridseed-options string in the conf file...

Haven't scanned entire thread yet but pointed one GS-Dual (mini) at MagicPool as a test.
Using the modified cgminer-3.7.2 for Gridseed on Windows 8.1 box as easy to mess about.
All rejects, NO accepts, '<<23, u'Share above target' message keeps displaying...
Huh? No problem on other pools using this...

I think it should be simpler maybe. Just a stamp like this: Haha! I always liked you man. To tell you the truth, FAIL will look more professional (work, logo, marketing etc...). The new guys who will support us are with years of experience in cryptos, but I can't tell you more for now. I can only tell that when everything is prepared, we will fight with everything faster than 10 ninjas. +1 Spartak and all - including the 10 Ninjas! Jackie Chan will help us too. He knows how to FAIL! Lol! Kung Fu FAIL...

Thanks for the positive remarks about your experience with StarMiner. To answer your question, option (2) (download the latest image from our SourceForge site under Files and reimage your SD card) is the only choice currently. We are working on a better upgrade methodology, but it is still "not up to par" to be released into the public unfortunately. Also to note, our LitecoinTalk forum thread has several successful cases of "StarMiner groupies" using the Gridseed Blade ASIC units. There are even a few screen shots as well, including one "groupie" who was able to successfully mix both Gridseed Blade units with Gridseed Mini units (it is recommended to NOT attempt this with Zeus Miner ASIC units at this time!). Feel free to advise on any issues you may encounter, as well as share your experience in using StarMiner as well. We actually encourage both, especially screen shots of StarMiner with your ASIC units "live" mining away. We suggest using an image hosting service like Imgur (which is free) for the screen shots. Happy and profitable mining to all! Hi LinuxETC, Thanks for your rapid response! I am now about to re-write the new image and will give it a whirl! If all goes well I may well add my little GS Dual to the mix as I will have a spare port on my powered hub... But only after I have got the blades working satisfactorily!

Hi, I have been running StarMiner on Pi with 1 x GS Dual / Mini 5 Chip for several weeks under my desk! Remote access is fine as I can VNC into my desktop and view from there. It does occasionally seem to be reporting all ok but pool shows much lower hashrate - quick re-start of miner brings it back up. In fact, StarMiner was the only Pi image I could get to see and recognise the GS Dual 'out of the box' - I have PIMP (which I really like), with Gridseed support, on a headless rig but I cannot get it to see the blades or mine... I'm not sure which version of SM I have as the Pi is now in my briefcase ready to use for my G-Blades... 1) Is there a quick way to upgrade my existing StarMiner install via SSH on the Pi? 2) Or, is it quicker / cleaner to grab the latest IMG and write that out to the SDCard and re-configure pools etc? TY

So... PIMP Great for GPU... BUT put 2 x G-Blades on to test - they are there in #~ lsub BUT Seedmanager (cgminer-4.3-gridseed) does not detect them - checkconf /opt/ifmi/blah blah.conf returns "ok" but no go. Running cgminer --benchmark bombs out... Can anyone post a working blade conf file for me to play with? PIMP Seedmanager (cgminer-4.3-gridseed) - Gridseed Blade Conf File Anyone? Have played but to no avail - will not see the devices... miner will not start...

Guys, I won't be around much today since I need to take some personal time out but I want to give you a little side note. I've been seeing some people complaining about price/dumping in bittrex/polo. This is NORMAL and I thought about this when I made the decision to go x11 with such a short PoW mining span. The dumping will happen this week and won't happen anymore, multipools will stop bothering us and price will start to rise since there won't be anyone who doesn't believe in the coin dumping PIGGY for quick profit... I don't want to make any price predictions since market prediction is not my strong suit but I can guarantee you that the dumping that is stopping the price from going up that is happening now will stop, this is just a phase we are going through (1/4 of it is done). Don't forget that we will also have a multipool ready as soon as we leave the PoW phase (that will be a big help in raising the price). We are not like other coins where you have to wait for a "multipool announcement", our multipool was announced before we even went PoS (with the change already in mind ofc). We will also keep delivering updates to the wallet with the help of our friend flubber, our gratefulness and gratitude for his work can't be enough. Right - 2 hours? More like 5 hours so far... Neither the old address CoinKing displayed to send OLD PIG to can be found in the blockchain explorer or my NEW PIGGY address from my NEW PIGGY wallet. Looks like my PIGs are flying somewhere but not in either of my wallets... How many confirmations so far in the old blockchain? (FiniteRed - TY also) PIGGY New: pt13yVBxvPtKjsqJnKKYke1YYALqNbP4VB COINKING deposit address: 7FEo5WBJwnUUz28atBUHkBFxiY4YiHrwQd hmm the deposit address has not been seen on he block chain apparently, what's your old wallet address? TY - update is they are all now received - (piggycoin - updated to your PM) Again, TY for input!

Just another g-force dip on the great BTC rollercoaster!

Oh dear - just hit $596.40 on Bitstamp... The end of the world is nigh! Seems strange when Expedia announce that they will accept BTC - they added that they will cash out to fiat every 24 hours though...
